• Akashi (10/5): 便利で快適な宿です～ - 合計で8泊しました。 予約時の対応がつっけんどんだったので心配しましたが、希望通りバスタブ付の部屋にしてくれたり、最初になかったバスタブの栓も翌日には準備してくれたり、なんとか顧客の要望に答えようとする姿勢には好感が持てました。 朝食も種類が豊富で美味しいトルコ料理が楽しめました。 強いて言うと、各室に「Don't Disurb」カードが無く、 問答無用で「House Keeping !!」と入って来るので、 「Don't Disurb」カードは全室に常備されると良いかと思います。 8泊9日間、大変お世話になりました(^^)

• Narges (10/5): - Location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Warm-friendly staff: 10/10 Breakfast: 10/10 -------------------- This is located in the center of touristic attractions, close to the main metro/subway centre, shopping districts, great food places, yet it is in an alley where it is quiet. The windows are double-paned so no noise from outside is heard inside. It is within 5 minutes walk of the beach, 2 minutes of Yenikapi Metro hub, 5 minutes to the tramwa to the Grand Bazar and Sultan Ahmet district and all the sea-bus and ferry stations. The staff are exceptionally friendly and warm. The breakfast is superb. ----------------------------- We asked for a non-smoking room and they graciously gave us a room that absolutely did not smell cigar- we are really grateful. --------------------------- Thank you everyone at Orient Mintur. We will definitely come back.

• Hamza (2/5): - It's a very bad experience. Dangerous neighborhood. Pillows, sheets and room are very very dirty. The staff is rude and mean. When you ask a question, they don't always respond. Even when they do, they don't give you a straight answer.

• Melike (6/5): Fin - Overordnet har det været et fint hotel dog er værelserne ikke som på billedet. Der er meget småt. På hotellet har der været rigtig meget støj også om natten. Morgenmaden har stort set været det samme hverdag hvilket bliver for kedeligt i længden. Personalet på hotellet er meget smilende og hjælpsomme.

• Mohammad (4/5): Low quality - Located in a tiny street so getting on/off a car will be a headache Because of that most of transfers will stop a little further and if you have luggage you should pull them with you on the street. Check in experience wasn’t good and I mentioned it before (check in survey). Night shift reception would do nothing and wanted you to ask morning staff. Even one time I asked for some ice, he told me “go out and buy from super market “ !!!!! It was noisy all the time from people working there or even people smoking at the front door . Room AC was horrible, functioning wrong or sometimes it was not working at all. We were lucky that the weather was good enough to leave the windows open for getting some fresh air but at the same time street noise and cigarette smokes coming to the room was a big headache. The only good point about this place was breakfast service and the gentleman working there was always perfect doing his job, respectful and kind. Btw, it’s not a 4 star hotel as it shows on the app. By their own standard it’s a 3 star as printed every where. Never stay there again.

• تركي (4/5): اسواء فندق باسطمبول حتى الان عدا الافطار وطاقمه - الموقع جيد والافطار مقبول لكن صغر الغرفة والديكور اقل من نجمه ولا يوجد ميني بار هذا وجهاز التكييف لا يعمل في الغالب طاقم الفندق بالكامل غير ودودين وليس لديهم اي ثقافة من انواع المساعده مثل حمل شنط المسافرين او الابتسامه اقل ما يقال اني ظيف ثقيل او ظيف عدو اسواء مكان في اسطمبول حتى الان
• Verified traveler (2/5): Dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen - Habe dieses Hotel fuer 9 Tage gebucht und sollte den Betrag beim Check in in Bar bezahlen, musste aber Kreditkarten Daten bei Buchung hinterlegen. Bei Ankunft habe ich den gesamten Betrag bezahlt und dennoch wurde der gesamte Betrag nochmal von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht. Habe 9 Naechte gebucht und Betrag fuer 18 Naechte bezahlt. Habe das Hotel nach meiner Heimreise angerufen und auch emails geschrieben aber keine Reaktion. Nun habe ich aerger und laufereien um mein Geld zurueckzubekommen. Dieses Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen

• Shoudhaghar. (8/5): A comfortable place to stay. - It was very nice staying in this Hotel. Location is brilliant , next to a metro station as well as buses were available. Tourists attractions, shops, markets were quite close. Enough shops and food places around. The breakfast was delicious. Staffs are helpful . One of the fluent English spoken member of staff I think called R..d...n had a good knowledge of the City. He advised us on how to go to Places like Ayub Sultan economically on the day when there were road closures for Euro Marathon in Istanbul. Also followed his guide to pleasantly reach Sabrina Airport by public transport. This made a big difference to our trip. The staff assisted to use hotel computer to check in online for flights. I would say a pleasant place to stay economically.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel was closed when we arrival to hotel at 12:00 AM, breakfast was Poor, they don't have parking for car, they have space in front of the hotel its enough for two car's & a half, the neighborhood is a different story it was dangers & noisy that's why the hotel was closed at midnight.
• Bloodr0se (2/5): Reasonably well located but not a 3 star hotel - We cancelled a reservation at a cheaper but similarly located hotel so that we could have a bit more space and relative luxury. If we knew then what we know now then we wouldn't have bothered. The hotel furnishings are extremely old and not very well kept. There were hints of mold on the shower and the door for the mini bar was falling off it's hinges. We checked in as a couple and had paid for a double room but they insisted on giving us a room with 2 single beds and were reluctant to change it. The bath water was also running brown when we arrived although they did fix this problem rather quickly. The breakfast selection was reasonably good but the dining area was small meaning that strangers often had to share tables and a lot of the table cloths, cutlery and plates weren't cleaned properly. The free Wi-Fi was available in almost all areas via multiple access points but the actual internet connection only worked very intermittently and couldn't really be relied upon. . The real problem with this hotel was a human one though. The staff were generally unpleasant and unfriendly, especially the female receptionist who worked through the day. We had pre-arranged flight transfers and the receptionist outright refused to call the company to confirm our collection time since we hadn't arranged the transfers through them. In a country which highly values politeness and courtesy to strangers, the attitude of the Mintur hotel staff was at odds with local culture and exposed a badly ran establishment which is only interested in exploiting foreign tourists for a quick profit. I don't usually review the hotels that I stay in, either positively or negatively, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. Staying at this hotel ruined what would have been an otherwise fantastic short holiday in Istanbul and we were honestly just glad to leave at the end of our trip. The Orient Mintur is not cheap and it is definitely not cheerful. It is a rusting shack of a hotel which may have been nice at one time in the past but is certainly no longer deserving of it's 3 star rating. Travellers will undoubtedly find much better value elsewhere. Avoid.
• praesipeter (6/5): OK für Istanbul-Stippvisite - Wir reisten auf eigenen Rädern (Motorrad) an. Leider liegt das Hotel unmittelbar neben einer Hauptstraße in einer Nebenstraße , was das Navi verwirrte, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Dafür funktionierte die elekronische Türsperre unseres vorgebuchten Zimmers beim Bezug nicht. Ein fensterloses Ersatz-Appartment unter dem Dach lehnten wir ab. Erst nach einiger Zeit und mit Hilfe mehrerer Elekriker war für Abhilfe gesorgt. Sehr freundliches (deutschsprachiges) Personal an der Rezeption, Frühstück reichlich und gut!
• Berta (4/5): Eine Woche in Istanbul - Wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst.Zimmer waren sauber,die Moebel waren zwäkmässig,und das Zimmer eher klein.Buchten ein Nichtraucherzimmer,in unserem stand ein Aschenbecher und imFflur wurde geraucht.An der Reception teilte man uns mit ,dass wir ein Rauchfreies Zimmer haben.Auf Nachfragen bekammen wir am 4.Tag,eine echtes Nichtraucherzimmer,das war genial.Frühstück war o.k Früchte fehlen und Brötchen waren am Morgen nicht mehr frisch. Fazit fuer eine Woche würden wir wieder kommen. Denn freundliches Personal und sauberkeit hat zu 100 Protzent gestummen.Auch die Lage ist gut es gibt alles,Frisör,kleiner Laden Kebab,Restaurants,Kiosk alles in 2 Min. erreichbar.Tip: beim buchen Zimmer nach hinten nehmen,ist viel ruehiger als zur Strasse,da ist rund um die Uhr Verkehr.
• Anonymous (2/5): the bad - do not know from where to start.It hotel is bad in many things.suppose to be airconditioning but they turn it off from 1pm till 5pm worse hours of the day so u have to be out in cool place.the first few days at breakfast when I asked for water they get me but after I asked they said extra charge I complain about that believe or not they told me they thought u are Iranian and that is more aweful because everyone pays and the breakfast included.the staff there unfreindly at all do not know customer service at all,mean,rude and trying to rip u off in many ways u do not feel u are in hotel u feel like in police station
