The room was on the top floor (narrow stairs, without a lift, which I admit I knew in advance). The problem was the shower, which at times took 10 minutes for the water to get hot. Plus, the shower pressure was very poor. I had to use the hand shower, as the rain shower was just a trickle.

The staff was super friendly and helped with transport arrangements and questions we had. Nice neighbourhood. The pub across the street has excellent pizza. With four underground lines leaving from the nearby Hammersmith station it is a quick and easy ride into the city.

The reviews mentioned the stairs; they are very narrow and steep so that needs to be considered if you have difficulty with mobility or have large/ lots of luggage. The room we had was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean but, again, small.

- JUAREZ (8/5): Boa estadia com conforto adequado ao esperado - Localização excelente com comércio , restaurantes e mercados. Estações de metro e ônibus de fácil e rápido acesso caminhando. Caminho fácil com malas de rodas das estações até o Adria. Bom custo benefício para Londres, mas o Hotel é apenas um quarto confortável, não espere áreas comuns e demais facilidades. O quarto em que ficamos comporta bem um casal com uma terceira cama que serve de apoio, mas as malas precisam ser manuseadas no chão pelo pouco espaço no caso de se utilizar as duas camas.

El trato de la recepcionista muy simpática y agradable. Tenían el detalle de cada día dejarte unas galletas de cortesía deliciosas. La habitación era diminuta, la cama super dura, nos clavábamos los muelles, las almohadas muy incomodas, la mampara de la ducha super inestable... Muy caro para la calidad de la habitación a pesar de tener una maravillosa ubicación y ser muy agradables.

Un vrai plus également pour l’accueil : la dame à la réception est particulièrement sympathique, professionnelle et parle un excellent français, ce qui est très appréciable. En résumé, un bon séjour grâce à l’emplacement et à l’accueil, mais avec des points d’amélioration importants sur le confort sonore. En revanche, gros point négatif concernant l’isolation : elle est quasiment inexistante. On entend clairement les bruits du couloir ainsi que ceux des chambres voisines, ce qui peut vite devenir dérangeant, surtout la nuit. À noter également que l’hôtel est de style victorien : cela a du charme, mais implique l’absence d’ascenseur et des escaliers assez étroits, ce qui peut compliquer l’accès avec des bagages.

L'hôtel est dans une rue calme mais il y a une grosse rue commerçante à proximité. On peut facilement trouver à manger et faire du shopping. The bathroom light and fan came on automatically every time you entered which disturbed the other person during the night. Creaky floorboards so we were woken up early when the person in the room above started moving about.

- Jeanne (5/5): Rapport qualité prix très décevant mais bien placé - L’emplacement est vraiment un gros point fort : à seulement quelques minutes à pied d’une station de métro importante, ce qui permet de rejoindre facilement des quartiers centraux comme Covent Garden ou Westminster en une trentaine de minutes. Le personnel est également très aimable et serviable. À notre arrivée, on nous a proposé une autre chambre pour s’adapter aux difficultés de mobilité de ma mère, et la personne à l’accueil a été d’une grande aide pendant notre séjour. Le rapport qualité-prix est malheureusement très décevant. Pour plus de 500 € les quatre nuits sans petit déjeuner, on s’attend à un minimum de confort. La chambre pour trois adultes était extrêmement petite (environ 15 m²), avec très peu d’espace pour circuler ou ranger ses affaires. Le “placard” était insuffisant (quelques cintres seulement), et rien n’était prévu pour suspendre correctement des vêtements longs. L’accès à la chambre (au 3e étage sans ascenseur) est compliqué, avec des escaliers très étroits et raides, difficiles à monter, surtout avec des bagages. Nous avons également eu un souci à l’arrivée avec une première chambre dont la chasse d’eau ne fonctionnait pas, ce qui nous a obligés à revenir à la chambre initiale malgré les contraintes d’accès. La literie était assez sommaire, avec des couvertures plutôt que de vraies couettes, ce qui n’est pas très confortable. Conclusion : Même en tenant compte des prix élevés à Londres, le tarif demandé paraît excessif au vu des prestations proposées. L’hôtel peut convenir pour un court séjour grâce à son emplacement et à la gentillesse du personnel, mais il ne faut pas s’attendre à un bon niveau de confort.

The staff is pleasant and helpful (for example, we arrived too early in the morning, and our room was not yet prepared, but we were offered another room (I think even better) instead immediately). Wifi is excellent. There is everything you can expect in the room - tea, coffee, tv, hairdryer, shampoo, iron, fridge etc.). The beds and pillows are comfy. The rooms are cleaned each day. The location is excellent - just a few min to metro station with few different lines, so you can easily access all tourist areas. Many shops and eating places nearby. As well, the hotel is located in a nice area with beatifull routes for a walk in the morning or in the evening. I honestly recommend this hotel!

Inoltre l'hotel è vicinissimo alla fermata metropolitana Hammersmith, pochi passi a piedi. Tornerò sicuramente!! Assolutamente nulla :)
