• Charm (9/5): - Perfect location, super clean, gorgeous views of the Caribbean sea and the beach. I felt very safe and secure. Will book again when I return to Cancun I needed to withdraw cash for deposit from far away because none of the atms nearby worked. Hot water was too hot, if I turned on the cold tap the water would get too cold. Not a deal breaker, it was still an amazing stay. I had to wear a red wristband throughout my stay, but that's for the security of everyone and I appreciate it very much. Can just adjust it a bit loose so you can remove it when you're having a shower or whenever you need to

• Alysha (3/5): Very disappointing - The location is close to restaurants, a grocery store, and the ferry. The staff were friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped. I was put in a room on the second floor, so I missed out on the view, even though it was still nice. They wouldn't switch my room. The bathroom light didn't work at all, nor did the hot water and there was zero water pressure. Cold showers in the dark, haha. The worst part wasn't the noise from the Coco Bongo at night but from the construction throughout the building ALL DAY. Come back mid-afternoon wanting to take a nap, and you can't because it was SO noisy. Sea weed was a problem the first day I was there. But by the second day, it wasn't washing up on the beach. But the hotel never removed the remaining sea weed from the sand. It took 15 minutes to check out so I was late for my ferry. I'm not sure what they were checking since I didn't dare touch the towels (out of fear of having to pay for them, based on other reviews). I used my own towels, which definitely didn't "feel" like I was on vacation. Overall, I'm not sure what I paid for. I'm not a picky traveller and I usually stick with lower budget hotels. But unfortunately, this place didn't meet the bare minimum.

• Lilibeth (10/5): Our stay was wonderful - I liked the seaview. The way the apartment was decorated with soft blues. The location was at a great beach, close to convenience stores, supermarket and craft market. Marlene, our hostess, was very helpful and accommodating. All the employees very very courteous and friendly. The property was secure and quiet was encouraged with signs in every floor. The property is located next to a "Party Club" so very loud music starts around 2pm and goes on into late evening. During that time is impossible to seat at the balcony or have the windows open. Even with closed doors and windows we needed to play our music to cover up the club's insane invasive noise.

VERY HARD beds. I arrived a little early but was made to wait for four hours to get access. At the very least, someone should have allowed me to go to the beach. It wasn't allowed until I was registered for the room. However, they wouldn't allow me to register until minutes before check in.

• Manny (9/5): Comfortable place in Cancun with a perfect location. - This place is in a perfect location to just walk at night for dinner and drinks. A friend came to visit us to go out for dinner and she was asked what was her hourly rate. It is a very bad joke to make and had this happen in Canada, this would have been a big deal. Fortunately, she did not pay too much attention, let it slide and asked me not to say anything.

The toilett didnt flush well, we had to use a bucket. Since it’s an apartment, it would have been nice to find basic stuff like salt, sugar, coffee. Buying it for 2 days wouldn’t make much sense.

Las instalaciones del edificio y del apartamento donde nos quedamos son bastante antiguas y muy mal mantenidas. Tuvimos que pedir que desatascaran la ducha ya que el agua se empozaba. Asimismo, encontramos una cucaracha en el baño. Por otro lado, no nos gustaron las normas del edificio. Las vimos bastante desproporcionadas.

• Elizabeth (6/5): - If you are on budget it is okay but be prepared to a very old facility built in the 60's and not renovated. Appliances are from the same time period and often fail to work. It is very conveniently located and the pool is cozy and clean. Communication with the hotel is impossible. Tried calling for days without an answer. Same calling reception. Just being fair... I love Cancun!

I wanted to stay close to playa mujeres but my husband and daughter wanted to stay where all the action is. This place is old and the property grounds are in deep need of a renovation. Electricity went and water went out for 2 days...probably more. We left the morning of 7/19/25 and the Electricity was still off. We had to pack all of our belongings in the heat and since we were on the top floor (10 flights of stairs) we had to haul our heavy suitcases down. They have the worst customer service. My husband who is 62 and has a bad knee, ask the receptionist (Angelina) for a bottle of water before climbing the stairs and she said only if we pay for it! Please notice the travelors pictures on this website and how the nice ones were take several years ago. The pool and its surroundings look nothing like it now. The only thing and I mean ONLY thing that was good was the view. That's it. Never again.

The first night was a party at a neighboring business and the wind was blowing the music into our rooms blasting until 130 am and fireworks were being lit on the beach. We got no sleep and it was tough with a baby after traveling all day. That was a Friday night, the rest of the nights were better for sleep. The beds were very firm but ok. The views spectacular and the service was great too!

The beautiful beach 🏖️ is complemented by robust security measures. The attentive staff seemed to understand our needs, perhaps knowing we were recovering from a serious illness, and provided us with a quiet room on the second floor, by the sea and near the pool. • Sovan (8/5): Great Ocean View Rooms - The location of the Hotel was great. Just beside Coco Bongo and has a nice white sand beach at the back. Beach can be accessed from the Hotel. Nearby it has multiple souvenir stores, convinience stores, bars and restaurants. The awesome part of this Hotel is the sea facing Patio ( if you chose ocean front rooms). One may spend whole night sitting at the patio with couple of beers and enjoying the sea. 😊 The Hotel doesn't have a restaurant. If someone wants to order from room, that option is not there. Shower Gel and Shampoo and drinking water bottles should be provided by the owners.
• Asif (5/5): Budget friendly option in the area with a view, but not good enough for a comfortable stay. - Location, in terms of the nearby attractions and closeness to the beach, is good. The view from the room balcony is very nice. Groceries and restaurants nearby. Bathroom was awful - there was no holder to hold the toilet tissue, the slope of the floor in the bathing area was on the wrong side which made the water not to drain properly, there was no space in the bathing area to properly place the body wash, soap, shampoos or conditioners. There was only one elevator working for this multistoried building, even that is quite slow and can take only 3 people at a time. One had to wait a very long time for the elevator to come. The loud noise from nearby night club deep into the night is not the best thing for sleep.

• Bislam (2/5): View is great. Hotel need a complete renovation. - The only positive thing about this property is the beachfront rooms and access to, in my opinion, the best part of the beach. The room looked dirty and old, like one of those cheap motels in the middle of nowhere. If you’re a budget-conscious tourist and just want the view, this hotel might be fine. But keep in mind, Coco Bongo is right next to the hotel, and they blast music until about 11 PM. It’s pretty loud, so if you’re traveling with kids, this is a no-go. If you have a bit more money to spend, I’d suggest looking for something else. The place felt dirty and outdated, with everything seeming like it hadn’t been updated since the 90s. I don’t think it’s worth the money, especially considering this is Mexico, where the pricing for everything feels always unjustified given the lack of proper infrastructure for tourism. Nevertheless, we did enjoy the stunning views, so the hotel is worth it to some degree.
