Great for access to Florence or just to see some proper Italy! Of misschien de trappen, maar dat is afhankelijk van je kamer.

• Ole (9/5): Klar anbefaling - Et virkelig hyggeligt boutique hotel med meget store og komfortable værelser. Absolut behageligt at være i rum som er klimatisk gode uden aircondition er nødvendig at tænde. Morgenmaden var fantastisk dejlig og varierende med friske varer, lokale produkter og kyndigt tilberedt af familiens søn, som også arrangerer kokke/madlavnings ophold på stedet. God og let parkering på stedet og gåafstand til ca 10 restauranter i byen af god kvalitet både til frokost og aftensmad. Absolut et anbefalelsesværdigt sted at bruge som udgangspunkt for besøg til Toscana og Firenze. Desværre kom vi dagen før poolen åbnede for sæsonen. Så poolen åbner 1. maj. Den så ellers lækker ud og med 26 grader kunne en nordbo sagtens bruge en tur i vandet 😁

Si gode a pieno l’ospitalità familiare tutta italiana, ma in particolare della storica famiglia della Villa Il Fedino, i fantastici Lorenzo ( il figlio), Alessandra (la madre), Amedeo (il padre) e tutto lo staff di Villa Il Fedino. • Tia (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing stay with unforgettable cooking class with Lorenzo! - We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Il Fedino and we hope to stay here again in the future! Lorenzo and his family were so warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was incredible and the beautiful garden and facilities created the perfect setting to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our whole trip to Italy was the cooking class here with Lorenzo. We sampled delicious olive oils, cheeses and wines and learned how to make fresh pasta, which we got to enjoy on the terrace in the sun with a bottle of wine. We highly recommend that anyone staying here books the cooking class as it’s an experience not to be missed! That we had to leave :(

З ювікна вілли дуже гарні краєвиди на Тоскану. Окремо хочу відмітити гостинність гасподарів, це надзвичайно світлі і добрі люди, які своєю хорошою енергетикою наповнюють цю віллу і роблять ваше перебування максимально комфортним. А ще сніданки, це окреме дякую !!!! Смачні, ситні і свіжі! Випічку для вас готть зранку і її аромат наповнює всю віллу…. Ти прокидаєшся під спів пиашок і цей чудовий аромат випічки свіжого хліба!!!! We were basically spending a few days at the end of our trip to unwind and relax. This was the perfect spot to do so. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was an absolute pleasure. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and difficult to leave to continue traveling. The breakfast was the best we have experienced in a month of traveling Italy , so amazing , so delicious. Hugs on departure made this a very special stay and I can't recommend it enough. Aloha to them and all the best from us!!! Having to leave.

For anyone appreciating great breakfast, this is the place for you. There's few nice restaurants in the village. Surroundig villages and towns are easy access by car. The only tiny item was that no coffee in the room. Only tee with kettle was available. That's about it.

Servizio molto cortese e disponibilità massima nell'offrire quanto eventualmente non presente nel buffet. Ha una posizione molto bella che permette di godere dalla finestra della stanza dove abbiamo soggiornato una bellissima veduta sul paesaggio delle colline senesi, ma nello stesso tempo è inserita nella parte centrale di San Casciano val di Pesa ed è utilissimo il proprio parcheggio disponibile per i clienti della villa Il fedino. Pre il periodo che abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura non c'è stato nulla di non positivo ed è da segnalare la massima cortesia della famiglia che è la proprietaria della struttura stessa nell'illustrare sia la storia interessantissima della villa Il Fedino che anche le caratteristiche di San Casciano in val di Pesa e dell'area del Chianti.

The daily breakfasts were a highlight. The room was clean and spacious, and the property is centrally located and walking distance to the town centre which had everything you could need.

• streifer (9/5): Great place to explore beautiful Chianti - We had a beautiful 6 nights at Il Fedino. The villa itself is magical with history and furnishings while retaining an authentic feel. The breakfast was a highlight with carefully prepared local ingredients. Best was the hospitality with a family who have been in the Villa for generations and have the best advice and passion for the region. Nothing- it was perfect for us.

Ligger i en liten ort med gångavstånd till ett antal mindre restauranger med klassisk Italiensk mat. Bra parkering för bilar inne på en innergård precis intill byggnaden. Mycket vänlig och trevlig personal. Wifi och mobiltäckning inte alltid på topp lite som övriga platser i Italien.

Serviert wird in einem renovierten Gewölbekeller aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Tolle Tipps von der authentisch herzlichen Gastgeberfamilie, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Lage der sehr gepflegten Gartenanlage ist sensationell. Auf einer Anhöhe gelegen hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick, während man auf einer der zahlreichen Liegen am Pool liegt. Uns hat auch besonders gut gefallen, dass es nur wenige Minuten bis ins Dörfchen sind, welches zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte bietet. Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt am Haus gibt es auch. Wenn Lorenzo ankündigt Mittags zu kochen, sollte man sich das nicht entgehen lassen! Rundum die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise:-)

Lorenzo was especially great! He reached out before I even got to Florence, helped me get to the hotel without any stress, and then checked in with recommendations both for my stay in San Casciano and later when I went back to Florence for a few days. One of the places he suggested actually ended up being one of my favorite spots from the whole trip, which was so great. The hotel was beautiful, the location couldn’t have been better, breakfast was honestly the best I had in Italy, and the pool was perfect. It all felt really thoughtful and welcoming.

• Dariusz (10/5): - Overall a very nice place for holidays. A family running this place is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a well selected combination of Italian style breakfast and European breakfast, so you can eat like Italian (cafe & cornetto) and then eat more e.g. from a nice selection of tuscan hams. Cleaning service was also fantastic and always took place during the breakfast time, so when we return to the room after breakfast it always looked like a new one ;-)

Ogni dettaglio racconta la cura e la passione di una famiglia attenta e premurosa, capace di unire una professionalità raffinata a un’accoglienza che scalda il cuore, facendoti sentire a casa… in una casa di rara bellezza. Il verde che abbraccia la villa si apre su una piscina che guarda i vigneti del Chianti, regalando scorci che sembrano dipinti. La colazione è un vero rito del gusto: un trionfo di sapori autentici, varia e ricercata, con prodotti di eccellenza che parlano di questa terra generosa. Un luogo da vivere, ricordare e, soprattutto, ritrovare.

• Jérôme (8/5): Petit-déjeuner extraordinaire avec Vue sur la campagne Toscane ! - La vue sur la campagne Toscane, le petit déjeuner, la belle piscine, l’amabilité du personnel, le grand espace de la chambre, la proximité du centre du bourg où il y’a de très bons restaurants, la proximité avec Florence, et le fait que ce soit un petit établissement familial. La seule chose est qu’il y a des routes assez bruyantes pas très loin et que j’imaginais que l’établissement était dans un tout petit village ( alors que c’est plutôt un gros bourg).

Very happy. - Everyone seems to be saying the same thing and it's true - The staff are very very accommodating, truly lovely hosts and the breakfasts are brilliant, served with a gorgeous view over the surrounding countryside. Easy walking in to San Casciano or if you want to travel elsewhere within 30 seconds your on the road out of town and into Chianti region. The accommodation was spotless, cleaned every day Bear in mind we booked fairly last minute so we got the last room available. It was a little on the small side. It wouldn't stop us going back but we would prefer a larger room
• IanNic1956 (10/5): Stay beyond our expectation - Our stay in Villa Il Fedino surpassed expectations and a huge part of that was the warmth and welcome from Lorenzo, his family and the staff. The Villa has been in their family for over 250 years and they take huge pride in what they do. Our room was probably the smallest and cheapest but was still comfortable, great views and a private terrace with views over the Tuscany hills. The breakfast was superb with high quality local pastries, vegetables and fruit each morning; Lorenzo even makes his own olive oil from the family trees. The swimming pool was great for an early evening dip before heading into Casciano with a few high quality restaurants alongside cheaper Pizza and Pasta restaurants. The village is pretty and the square full of life - mainly with locals Casciano is ideal for getting into Florence by car and we parked at Parking Romana. Getting back in the evening to escape the crowds and heat was welcome

• Leah (10/5): Charming historic villa in the heart of Tuscany with gorgeous views and food - This villa is a 10/10 Host family absolutely charming. Delightful people -we loved all of them. The villa is 700 years old, and has been in their family for 250 years. The breakfasts were enormous and delicious, with fresh homemade offerings every morning, cappuccinos were glorious. Lorenzo is a well known chef and the dishes he made for breakfast and our cooking class were the best tasting of anything we ate on our entire 10 day trip. Definitely do the cooking class. The rooms are lovely, the views spectacular, the pool a nice addition after a day of touring. The location is very central to everything in Tuscany, a good place to base your trip if you don’t want to move every couple of days. Walkable to a charming actual town, as opposed to a tourist trap. All of the staff were so friendly. Villa il Fedino is a must if you are visiting Tuscany.

• Geoffrey (10/5): Brilliant and exceeded expectations - the host family were simply amazing and so welcoming - The breakfast was amazing, it showcased the food of the region and to top it off the view from the terrace was brilliant !! Everything was fresh and delicious. It was a treat to have some homecooked items daily. It was so filling we rarely needed anything for lunch, it was that good. The room was spacious and was well appointed for our needs. Non-intrusive daily house-keeping. We made use of the onsite parking and the grounds around the villa were lovely. We didn't have a chance to use the pool but it was very inviting. Walking distance to the town was a mere few minutes where all the restaurants, cafes, banks and good gelato shops were waiting, Loved walking through and around the old town with the locals going about their daily life. Very friendly. Best of all were the hosting family and staff !!! Very warm and welcoming and most helpful when you needed something like places to eat, towns to visit and things to do. They could not do enough for us. They were fantastic !! Nothing. For us Villa II Fedino was wonderful !! .
