Gabriela (7/5): Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels dieses Niveaus leider in keiner Weise herausragend - Das Haus, die Lage und der Garten in unmittelbarer Nähe sind sehr sehr schön. Die Küche ist tadellos. Das Zimmer zwar nicht zu 100 % in Ordnung, doch das was erledigt wird ist wie zu erwarten gut. Es gibt freundliche Mitarbeiter. In meiner Wahrnehmung ist das Hotel besonders schön, sticht allerdings in anderen Bereichen gar nicht heraus. Schon ab und zu habe ich mich gefragt, wie es bei Hotels, die ich als absolut grandios erlebe, zu negativen Bewertungen kommt. Nun ist es der umgekehrte Fall; ich habe im Gegensatz zu den aktuellen Bewertungen nicht den Eindruck, dass das Hotel Salviatino zu konstanter Qualität neigt. Schön für's Auge, ragt es für mich aber als Hotel weder heraus, noch freut mich mein Aufenthalt. Nach meinem Empfinden sind mehrere Faktoren dafür verantwortlich. Kurz gesagt, im Moment kann man sich dem Eindruck von einem herrenlosen Schiff, welches sich in Abwesenheit des Kapitäns und ersten Offiziers grade noch so durchkämpft, nicht erwehren. Ich begegne zu oft und zu deutlich ungeschultem Personal, Personal ohne jeden Schliff. Ich bin durchaus selbst genug umgänglich, um bei seltenen Kleinigkeiten noch so gerne Verständnis zu zeigen. Wenn ich als Gast jedoch partout nicht richtig informiert, nicht verstanden, mich nicht grundsätzlich willkommen geheissen fühle, fehlt mir der Anreiz, an den ansonsten schönen Ort wiederzukommen. Ständig gibt es Anlass, sich über diverse kleine wie grössere Fehlleistungen zu wundern. Man überlegt sich ständig, wieviel davon zur Sprache zu bringen lohnt, damit man nicht ununterbrochen am Verhandeln ist. Da alle Punkte bereits mit der Reception erörtert wurden, gehe ich nicht ins Detail. Weiter empfinde ich den Bereich um den Pool zwar als hübsch, aber wie vieles Weitere ganz und gar nicht einem 5 Sterne Level angemessen. Ich frage mich wirklich, wie andere Gäste, die einen hohen Standart oder gar an eigenes Personal gewöhnt sind, hier zufrieden sein können.

Muhannad (10/5): لم اجد مكان اجمل اقضي فيه شهر العسل من هذا الفندق - مكان جداً جميل وهادئ وبعيد عن صخب المدينه وبإطلالة خلابه ويوفر مواصلات من الصباح حتى الثامنه مساءً من والى منتصف المدينه التي تبعد عنه قرابة 20 دقيقه ويوجد به مطعم يقدم فيه أصناف مأكولات لذيذة جداً وباحترافية عالية. واخص بالشكر للطاقم المحترف والتسهيلات التي قدمت لي منهم (Bianca-Matilde) وخصوصاً(Paul) على جميع المساعدات والتوصيات، فعلاً طاقم محترف. نظرا لرطوبة الموقع والتوقيت الذي امضيت وقتي فيه كانت توجد بعض الحشرات(الغير ضاره)

Трансфер отеля избавил от проблем с парковкой и такси, отличный ресторан -от поиска мест для завтрака и ужина. В этот отель надо ехать, как в санаторий, чтобы просто наслаждаться каждой минутой пребывания. А это мы еще в спа не успели и бассейн был уже закрыт, потому что осень. Сервис безупречен.

Claudia von der Rezeption hat gleich nach unserer Ankunft Stadtführung (Deutsch) Eintrittskarten etc. organisiert und auf einem Plan mit allen Treffpunkten bereitgestellt. Wirklich toll und super freundlich! Frühstück: Buffet und wirklich sehr gut! Restaurant: exzellente Küche und perfekter Service (Fred). Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man etwas in die Jahre gekommen Charme mag. Das Spa – Konzept ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Auf der Webseite nicht ersichtlich 100 € pro Person (dann hat man den Spa für sich alleine). Bei einem Fünfsternehotel so nicht akzeptabel.

Eduardo (9/5): Lovely Place, so charming... - We loved the hotel, the infrastructures, the pool, the staff. Breakfast is good but no excellent. I've been in a lot of boutique hotels/heritage hotels around the world and that hotel deserves a better breakfast. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and we waited more than 1 hour for a regular meal with a OK quality and huge price. This lovely and charming hotel deserves a better restaurant with more quality.

The interior of the building is eclectic and interesting with lots of space to relax and unwind. The staff are second to none, very attentive but not overbearing and are always willing to help. The restaurant is beautiful, even though Florence is packed with an endless number of great restaurants we ended up having dinner there twice over our four days. It was beautiful.

From the moment we arrived we experienced the most incredible service and gracious staff we have ever had at a hotel. It began with meeting Andrea, who helped us throughout our stay with our booking and was so attentive to our needs and the hotel manager Edoardo and Elena introduced themselves and warmly welcomed us. During our entire stay, we were in awe of the property and the exquisite staff. Luigi who manages the hotel restaurant went above and beyond for us. The hotel is privately owned, and it shows in the care placed in the staff and management that run the hotel. The historic villa is decorated exquisite and unique. The grounds and garden in addition to the plant selection inside the villa are beyond words. If we return to Florence, we will definitely book a stay here again. Beautiful memories that we will cherish forever!

Since the moment of the booking Paul was super nice and as soon as we stepped in the hotel, we have been warmly welcomed Paul and Riccardo provided us with an amazing service and experience, food and drinks were amazing. We have been given a tour of the hotel followed by the explanation of the whole structure history. We will definitely come back and we strongly suggest this as the perfect place to stay in Florence or to go for a brunch on Sunday. The view it’s gorgeous, the quality of the food too and the people that work there are amazing. I have travelled a lot for work and I never had a positive and warm experience like this one. The villa is stunning, beautifully decorated, as are the rooms. The views of the city and the gardens are some of the best we've seen. Shuttle is provided every hour, all day that takes you to the Florence center and back. Pool area is beautiful, has 3 different pool areas with a bar that serves drinks and lunch. The grounds are gorgeous, can’t say that enough. The staff greeted us when we arrived to the hotel, and made us feel like royalty for the entire time we spent there. The serene atmosphere in the buildings, the huge pool in the park, the handy shuttle into the city centre, breakfast on a green and cosy terrace overlooking beautiful Florence. We stayed for a couple of nights in July for a portion of our Honeymoon and we couldn’t have asked for better! The entire hotel is absolutely beautiful - from the rooms, to the spa, the gardens, to the pool. We spent most of our stay poolside - and it made for some perfect days. The entire staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Each meal we had was memorable! An adding perk that we took advantage of was the free spa amenities. tripeeCanada (10/5): It is even better than it appears - We held our small wedding, and stayed at Il Salviatino for 3 nights, along with friends, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip in Italy. Our room at this hotel will count as easily one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The hotel interior, and grounds are impeccable, and the view brought tears to my eyes when we stepped out onto the terrace. It is a short walk into Florence, but being in the hills overlooking Florence provided the most beautiful view you could imagine, and a quiet and calm, difficult to find in a busy city in the summer season. We had exceptional service from Paul, the Concierge, and Luigi, the Food and Beverage manager. Paul went above and beyond helping support in the planning of our wedding, and during our time there. Luigi also went above and beyond making us and our guests feel right at home, particularly in the Lobby bar. The breakfast is exceptional, and the food from the restaurant is so delicious. If you can, you must stay here.

Guide663368 (8/5): Gorgeous hotel with incredible views - Il Salviatino is a stunning hotel, located in a wonderful building just below Fiesole, with incredible views over Florence. It was lovely to return here after the noise and heat if the city. The decor of the hotel is beautiful - everything looks and smells incredible. Our room was large, and on request we were given a room with a bath - many just have showers. The breakfast was the best we have had in Italy - a great selection of sweet, savoury and freshly cooked eggs. The one area that let the hotel down was the pool, which looked tired. Slightly tatty, with a plastic liner and mismatched faded umbrellas. The pool bar was also underwhelming, with shabby furnishings and disappointing (though expensive) food. We still enjoyed our time by the pool, but this area definitely needs an upgrade to bring it up to the level of the rest of the hotel.

Ismet (10/5): A divine blessing! - A divine blessing! Staying at Il Salviatino was like staying with lovely friends: carefully blended intimate, warm hospitality combined with personal space for stillness and tranquility. We will never forget enjoying breakfasts, drinks and dinner on the Il Salviatino terrace, with its breathtaking views of Florence. Florence is amazingly beautiful, with masterpieces in galleries and museums, jaw-dropping architecture and heavenly gardens. Sitting on the Il Salviatino terrace, it’s very easy to see all that glory captured in one scene. To add to this magic, there were extensive gardens and the other-worldly spa to transport us to an even higher place. A divine blessing. Thank you so very much.

James (10/5): Wonderful sunset view of the city in a gorgeous countryside location, but only 15 minutes drive away - What a gorgeous end to our Florence trip - although a slightly compact room in size, it more than made up for it with its truly stunning views over the Duomo and city. The staff were extremely attentive - our dinner out on the terrace was worthy of a Michelin star (!), and the newly-renovated spa is truly the best we have encountered anywhere in the world. We can't wait for our next visit - thank you to the Salviatino Firenze Team for making it a truly magical stay! N/A

blckjac64 (10/5): Fantasy in Tuscany! - I'm not sure exactly where to begin this, so I'll start with the top! It's a 15th century Villa that has been incredibly tastefully converted into a hotel and spa with about 45 rooms/suites. They have the full suite of amenities, that any larger and more full size property of this caliber would be expected to have. Edoardo is the relatively new General Manager, and the man is the CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL! He has curated a wonderful staff and property, and while sadly I don't remember everyone's name, they are all wonderful and will go out of their way to make you feel at home and like royalty at the same time! The building is almost a time capsule in and of itself! There is a wonderful library next to the bar for relaxing, and all throughout the property are books of various ages from fifty to hundreds of years old and with gloves to be worn by the reader, for the protection of book. Alessio is the bartender for the property and the man KNOWS what he's doing! He has been doing it for 20 years and his proficiency is obvious! When dealing with professional service people I'm a big believer in letting them show you their local traditions or specialties, not unlike a sommelier, and his personal recommendation was delicious! I won't spoil anything, go and visit, and tell him to make you one of his special creations! Demetrio is the restaurant manager, but also helpful with suggestions, like a concierge! We were so hoping to dine in their restaurant for dinner but ended up staying in town all but one of the nights, but I'm sure the food would be fantastic! Florence is know for a particular cut/style of steak "Steak Florentine." American's would know it as a porterhouse cut, and it's generally cooked rare over wood flame and served sliced off the bone! One night we we're wanting a traditional experience of Steak Florentine (one can not subsist on pasta alone!) and Demetrio and Alessio sprang into action, setting us up with a great local recommendation and even calling to make us a reservation and more! I cannot RECOMMEND this hotel enough! The property is magical, the staff feel like old friends you haven't seen in awhile, but you pick up like you never left, and you're just steps away from the majesty that is Florence! Go! Stay! Enjoy!
Rebecca (10/5): Palatial stay in the hills - Absolutely beautiful location. Like staying in a palace. The views of Florence are incredible, the room has every convenience, the public areas are works of art and the staff helpful and friendly.
Mutlu (10/5): Excellent property outside the extremely busy tourist locations. Very calm, very peaceful - This is a very nice property viewing Florence from up above with lovely a lovely garden. They have a shuttle that takes you to downtown every hour. The garden is lovely. The dinner was quite nice. There is a library that you can enjoy any time and even have a drink inside.

Grey (10/5): Magnificent spot at the top of a hill! - Beautiful! We came to see Florence and you can almost experience it all right at this hotel (we stayed two eve's and did not want to leave) Such care has been taken to make every moment special here, each hallway, each nook, the gardens, the spa, even the drive up is magical. The view is exactly as they show in the pictures. The staff are lovely, especially Sofija, she gave my father and I an initial tour and was so kind in every way. We will be returning with more of our family and friends! Loved everything. This hotel is definitely suited to guests that love a quiet and peaceful environment.
