- Christophe (4/5): - Front desk staff were absolutely useless. I asked for recommendations on a supposedly touristy area of Riyadh, but the concierge had no clue about it. I also booked a hotel car to take me back to the airport 24 hours in advance, but on the morning of my departure I understood that they had not arranged it despite telling me that the driver was on is way… the staff were not even apologetic about the situation. Some serious customer service training is needed here.

I had to book this hotel, even though it was over my budget, due to its location near my business meetings. Even though it was a pleasurable experience, I noticed that the plumbing system needs consideration. The toilet and the wall spray (shattaf) in all the rooms I stayed in was leaking all day and night, and the pressure was not stable. Therefore, it was noisy the whole time, and I was very concerned about the water waste. Otherwise, everything is great!

The lobby looks very sparky and one would have a feeling of a hotel in Russia in the 90’s. The restaurant is really off grade from the look, the menu and food….
- Paul (10/5): Minhal, Riyadh. - I have found Crowne Plaza to be consistently nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. Now I find myself travelling at very short notice quite often, I know that the overnight part of my trips will not disappoint .... prompting me to not 'experiment' with other possible hotels. Also, I particularly like the breakfast. And knowing I may not get time to eat again during the day am starting the day eating like a king from a very large, fresh and delicious buffet. Crowne Plaza has become my hotel of choice for business trips - I hope to find their location wherever I may travel.

Room is well appointed, bed is comfortable and service is quick. Not much in the surrounding area - seems that a car or taxi is needed to get anywhere. Breakfast was expensive but had a good variety of foods. Had a salad one evening which was very fresh and well balanced. Front desk was helpful. Overall a good business choice.

Generally there was no noise between 7.00pm and 8.00am but one morning the banging started at 6.50am! I did complain and it stopped! I thought breakfast was expensive at 145 SAR and the evening buffet at 210 SAR.

- ali (2/5): You can't sleep!!! - I stayed for nights and I could not sleep during the day or the evening because of the noise is either from maintenance or from the employees who clean the rooms because they slam the doors every time they wake me up . I had an omelette which was horrible. The hotel needs to update its gym equipment because they're pretty old specially the bicycles and they don't work . The cell phone coverage or signal is bad inside the room as well as the Wi-Fi . The noise that a face actually cause me to change rooms from the fifth floor to the ground floor but the noise remained constant . I wish the hotel can fix those problems and to be fair to the supervisor he was very nice I don't know his name but he was trying to help me with the Internet Wi-Fi and he was very courteous .
- YAZEED (8/5): Not bad, but not exceptional either. - Great hotel. Clean rooms, and friendly staff. Room service was average, and overpriced. The rooms were comfortable, although I found the pillows annoying. The neighborhood around is not very walk-friendly. The worst thing in our stay is that the AC had a glitch, and we had to call the front desk every time we wanted it adjusted. Also my booking included breakfast, but the hotel manager refused to honor the booking, and breakfast was 215 SAR per person (extremely expensive given that it costs less than a third of that at other hotels.) The hotel didn't have any lobby due to construction
- Rayan (10/5): Good Hotel, Bad Customer Services From All Parties - my room had a confirmed breakfast included, the hotel claimed that the none refundable paid rate does NOT include breakfast. After getting in touch with hotels.com customer's service, they promised to get in touch with the hotel but unfortunately nothing happened even after staying on hold for 20 min on an international call!!!!

- Michael (8/5): Central higher class hotel - The hotel has all amenities one would expect but the location, although central is a bit off track (at leaast for my meeting locations). Overall a good hotel.

- Chris (8/5): Comfortable hotel - Food and service was very good. There is building work going on but didn't cause me an issue as I had a room away from the noise. The gym equipment was old, very disappointing.
- Andy (6/5): Average Hotel - The hotel is undergoing construction so in its current condition it is average. The service and internet connection was good but some parts seemed dated or done on the cheap. When the renovation is done it will most likely have higher ratings.
- UK Traveller (8/5): Good for a 1 night stay - Very difficult to find this hotel, most of the hotel staff do not speak English. They could not find a parcel I had delivered to the hotel even though I asked 3 times. It was in storage but some how they were not able to see it

- Jason (10/5): Looks can be deceiving ... - long time traveller, first time reviewer here, I had to extend my hotel stay in Riyadh due to some project complications, anyhow, this hotel was the only one available, when I turned up, the lobby looked dated and worn, even the halls, and corridors appeared dull compared to international middle eastern hotel standard. However It all changed when I entered my 'standard' room, wow. The room was brilliant, clean, and comfortable, the TV was HD and had a usable remote control, and the Internet worked really well, the amenities were on par to 7* hotels ive stayed in, my advice, dont judge a book my the cover like I did, well worth the money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Instructor - The hotel is under renovation and is a mess, though the rooms are nice and clean and the serviec was good but there is constant construction going, there is no outdoor patio and no pool. I should have been told about this activity as I would have stayed somewhere else.
- Zahi (8/5): Good Rooms Bad Lobby - Rooms are newly renovated and they are excellent, but the condition of the lobby and elevators are bad. Will stay there again since I don't spend much time at the hotel itself.

- workwork (10/5): The Staff are the jewel in this Crowne - I have stayed at this property on two occasions and highly recommend it to any traveler. The staff make one feel at home and the food is great.
- Salem (4/5): Inconvenient Location - The hotel is under heavy construction and renovation, still major part of it not considered as 5 star, and looks very old. Inside the rooms are ok, but outside are not. Maybe should wait till they finish the renovation.
- Hussain (10/5): My stay was for business but it became for relaxation too …. - During my stay in Crown Plaza Riyadh, my felling was I am at home. People are friendly and nice, Hotel facilities are modern and meeting my expectation for a business Hotel. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for safe and comfortable place.
- Ashish (6/5): So so - The hotel location is in the interiors and not well known amongst the people living in Riyadh. The hotel staff is friendly & the rooms are recently rennovated so the rooms are new. The gym is extremely small & only for namesake with hardly any equipments (no treadmill even). Overall an ok stay, & will probably not repeat it.
