The overall condition of the hotel is just so-so. It is old and in need of a lot of remodelling. Tge lobby / check-in area is small, crowded, and cluttered. Thecstaff members are friendly.

Honestly, I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews about the service here because my experience was the complete opposite—maybe those people never got to meet Mandy! (I hope I got her name right—she’s the lovely short-haired lady at the front desk.) Mandy was an absolute star! She completely changed my perception of the hotel with her kindness and warmth. From the moment I interacted with her, she made everything feel so easy and welcoming. No matter what I needed help with (even the silliest things, lol), she was always happy to assist without making me feel awkward for asking. Mandy made my trip to Hong Kong just as magical as Disneyland! If you’re reading this, Mandy, THANK YOU! 💖 And to the hotel—please take the best care of her because she’s truly a gem! ✨😊
• Ekd (8/5): The convenient location seems perfect. - Th location is great! A few local Chinese and several Japanese restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel . A favorite French bakery and coffee shop nearby for a quick breakfast. Hotel is on the MRT red line that can take you to Central. You can walk over to the harbour as well should you be able to walk 15 to 20 minutes away from the hotel. More Lighting could be better. A bit dark but very soothing in the evenings. And the drainage smell from the bathroom could be managed better.

• Nuo-Hua (10/5): Easy and convenient all round. - Apart from checking in was a nightmare, with guests waiting and luggage shuffled in any space within the reception area. Everything after that was smooth and enjoyable. Finally reached my room to unpack and relax. Later found that the location of the hotel is perfect and central to whether you want shopping or just plain good food from all around the world - Turkish to Korean to Japanese to good old local HK dim sums. 😋😋😅

Too small, they sell it for a family room.... it's too small. a lot of noise, the walls are very thin and you can here everything happens around. I was not happy about the payment procedure.... But the most annoying and totally unnecessary is that they will keep my deposit for 14 days. What is the reason if the deposit is just for the minibar consumptions. Why you do not return the deposit immediately !!!!!?????

Nice and friendly staff especially to the old lady who was staying close to the reception area. aircon was dripping the whole night and was not able to sleep well and our room was next to the staff room and you can hear all the noise from outside.

The staffs tone could be a bit more nicer. But doesn't bother me.. The view was just a back of another building..but for 2 nights I wasn't in there much. Alot of small cosmetic things need attention to. 1 bathroom light was half working etc
• Ralph (5/5): the hotel is near restaurants and mtr so its a big plus. but as i said being hospitable is more important to us so the h - we like that its near the MTR and walking distance from the K11 mall it's only one way street so its hard for cars to go in and out. also the receptionist/staff in the night shift(skinny dude) did not know how to treat us with respect a hotel receptionist should do. imagine we're checking in and he just said straightforwardly said he could not book us on the same floor without even saying hello or good afternoon. i mean hello? you're working with tourists. also he's very rude about our requests and i dont feel comfortable talking to him. we liked the hotel but the receptionist guy is a big no no for us. maybe the hotel should talk to him and make him attend seminars about how to treat guests nicely.

• Janet (3/5): Good central place to explore the city but I would not recommend it to anyone. - Central location The hotel reception was very small. It had limited space to sit. The staff were mostly rude and it was not welcoming at all. The room was very dark and not clean. The bathroom was dirty around the sink and in the corners of the floor. We had no hot water in our wash hand basin for the 5 days there. It was worked from an immersion heater that did make the shower hot but it ran out quickly. The room was dated and dark even with all the lights on.

The room is bigger than I expected. Normally the hotel rooms in HK is very small, but this one is quite big. Too much dust in the room, even after the cleaning

Location was close to two metro stops and places like Harbour City mall, Avenue of the stars, Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier, K11 MUSEA and more. Overnight female receptionist was very nice and helpful (unfortunately because of her hours she was not the main receptionist you see). Had an iron and iron board that when requested was brought to the room. Shower (in originally booked room) was comfortable. Stayed in a Deluxe Double Room on the 12 floor: First, they placed me in an ADA room with bathroom facilities you had to be in a wheelchair to use because of the height of fixtures (ex: sink, shower, etc). I was fortunately moved to a regular room after requesting a new room. The Wi-Fi was absolutely horrible and practically useless. Saw a roach/bug at night crawl across the desk while the lights were on. Perhaps this is normal in Hong Kong hotels, but it should be noted I did not have any food or drinks in the room nor ever eat in the room. I had also only been in the room less than 4 hours. The carpet was a bit worn and could use replacement. Found strands of female hair (or long male hair) on the bathroom floor. The room lighting was dark. The room only had low output downlights with random light switching that was frustrating to use and even with every light on, the room still was dark. Limited TV Channels (less than 15 with only one or two international channels)  Had all Type "G" outlets (which is understandable since it is Hong Kong); however, there was one Type "A" outlet at the far end of the room away from the bed. A recommendation would be to place the Type "A" outlet in a better, more useful location for international travelers/users. The two male receptionists were void of emotion, not welcoming and uninviting. There was no location for luggage storage so they use the lobby, which means the already small lobby is filled many times during the day with so much luggage it leaves little circulation and waiting space actually in the lobby for check-in and service.

• Vivian (8/5): awesome location! - location: fantastic! it was near everything we want to go and near the MTR stations too. a very convenient location. surroundings also had a lot of food and shoppings cleanliness: room service was very helpful and they provided fresh towels everyday :) many people in the reviews complained about the cleanliness which made me rather worried before my trip but the room we stayed in was rather clean and even came with a humidifier and air purifier. very appreciated!! overall: considering the lack of space in HK the hotel room was rather spacious and cozy :) price: 3.5/5 a little expensive but affordable compared to other hotels in HK staff: the guy at the front desk was abit rude and not helpful. but we barely spoke to front desk anyways so it doesn’t matter
• Lyka (8/5): AMAZING STAFF. But room needs heavy vacuuming. - What we appreciate the most during our stay at this hotel was their staff. From maintenance guy, to receptionist. They've very accommodating and friendly--all of them. We didn't have any bad experience with them. There were two receptionists--one during the day and another at night. Both of which are very friendly and respectful. But I have to mention MENTI. She even showed us store recommendations without even us asking. The staff makes up for the dusty room. Haha. 10/5 for the staff. Room's cleanliness. Overall, we were able to tolerate the room coz the bed was okay, wasn't noisy, we had the non-smoking room and water (heater, drain) works fine. But I have to say, if someone who's allergic to dust were to stay? Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend. You'd have a horrible stay. 2/5 for this. Sorry.

The room was okay, I was expecting more because the picture of the room looks nicer and cleaner. The size of the room is comfortable, it would be much better if the lighting wasn’t too dark, it’s not bright enough even though all lights were turned on. Unfortunately, for the same price range I believe there are more options thus I won’t consider to stay there again.
• Dave (3/5): Choose somewhere different to stay in Hong Kong. - Staff were OK, Location was OK but that's about all. Room was extremely grubby and smelt like the waste cooking oil from a restaurant kitchen. The room also smelt damp and there was mildew in the bathroom. Walked into the room to find long black hair all over the bathroom floor from the previous occupant. Rest of the room looked like it hadn't been dusted in a long time, never mind sanitised. Asked for someone to come and sort and a lady arrived with a duster, she picked up a few hairs, sprayed the room with a bit of air freshener and then left - that was the cleaning routine. There was also a dehumidifier in the room that wasn't working as it was full of water so had to empty ourselves so it turned on again although this made no difference to the smell of damp in the room. We should have moved out really but were tired so needed to sleep but was opposite the lift so it was noisy during the night also! This hotel really did spoil our short time in Hong Kong and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Not sure why it's on the booking.com website really.

• Thanakrit (8/5): Consider staying here; I recommend it. The transportation is convenient, and the price is affordable - We did not book accommodation here, and breakfast was included. Therefore, I don't know if it's good or not. However, it's probably as good as it looks in the dining room Overall, our two-night stay at Xi Hotel was satisfactory; however, there were issues with the behavior of the two front desk staff members. Unfortunately, I don't recall their names, but one of them worked during the afternoon and night shifts. Despite this, we had a positive experience in the morning. The air conditioning was effective, the room was clean, and the bathroom had good water pressure. The hotel is conveniently located for travel.

• Kim (5/5): Passable - The location is close to MTR and convenience store. Walking distance to Avenue of Star. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room is dark, dirty and dusty. Found a live cockroach in the bathroom.

• David (4/5): Not worth the money - Location is good Do not rely on the images, a wide angle lense has been used and the rooms are a lot smaller. This hotel is run down, mouldy, dirty, the shower does not drain, the room service is superficial.
• Patama (7/5): Great place to stay in Hongkong - The location is the best choice for tourists, It's very near many good restaurants and the subway. The staff was very helpful. the elevator is too small.

• Mable (1/5): Need to improve on cleanliness , so guess feels good staying - There was buds crawling on the counter and it was dirty, I checked out after one night out of four night stay, can’t spend my vacation in uncomfortable place.

• Nikolas (2/5): Very disappointing, very dirty - The location is good, and you have what you need in the room. The hotel clearly at one point was a great hotel. It’s was sadly filthy, and I mean really filthy. I didn’t hear or see a hover in the entire stay and that explains why the dust was so Thick on carpets and in corridors, the water had a really bad smell to it that made me gag on first day so I ran it for a while to try to improve it, the walls in the bathroom were full of marks from past guests, toothpaste, body fluids, soap, a lot of mould also. I ran a cloth round a couple of walls and it was black. Staff are indifferent, some are good.. the door man, Jimmy the maintenance man. The reception team pretty formal and uninterested, the night security, truly awful and asleep most of the time. SAFTEY: we had a fire alarm go of during our stay, the evacuation was non existent and they could not reset he alarm due to faults, one was in our room and the fix was to simply remove our detector…. No replacement was used…. The fire exit stairs full of rubbish and junk so not safe either. VALUE: it has a good location to get everywhere that is for sure, but for the quality, and the basics that just don’t exist, this hotel is a rip off. Even the laundry service £4.80 to wash one T-shirt…. I used the laundrette next door and did our whole suitcase for that price…. Seems crazy that management in this hotel are not doing anything as if they just gave the place a really good clean, improved customer service a bit, I think that they would have a great hotel again.
• LorenzoB637 (6/5): Not bad but can be improved - Located at TST, hotel is in a good position close to subway. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are quite small ( normal in HK) and a bit noisy due to old AC system and nearby road. Cleaning can be improved such as amenities quantity ( just 1 set of shampoo and shower soap for 2 persons, not renewed after the first night). Wifi is working fine.
