- peter (9/5): - The location is outstanding, just across the road from Ueno station. The Panda exit l believe. Check the exit because it is vital for for finding your way anywhere. Also in the street behind the hotel were excellent restaurants with cheap but tasty dishes. The futon in the Japanese room was very comfortable. The room had atmosphere. The fridge in the room didn't seem to work. If working, it would have been useful for storing food for breakfast purchased from the nearby convenience store.

Comfortable bed. Everything clean.Very helpful staff. You can leave your luggage for a couple of days if you want to go out of Tokyo, which is very useful. Could be cheaper...

- Johan (8/5): Authentic Japanese. - Our room type with only mattresses on the floor (no normal beds) was good for a family with two kids. The breakfast was tasty. Big portions with many items and felt very Japanese. The staff was very friendly. Some corridor carpets smelled cigarette smoke, but it didn´t smell smoke in our room. The bathroom was pretty small, but I guess that is common in Tokyo. Our room was pretty big, but there were not many shelves to put things "out of reach" for our small children.

- Jana Vejpravova (9/5): Great Hotel for a Short Stay in Ueno - Great hotel in Ueno, perfect for a short stay after arriving in Japan. I stayed here with my daughter before continuing to our next destination. The location is excellent, very convenient for transport and exploring the area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and well maintained. A comfortable and pleasant start to our trip. Nothing specific to mention. Usually we do not like very noisy areas, and Ueno can be quite lively, but it was still perfectly fine. We stayed on a higher floor, which helped a lot, so noise was not really a problem at all.
