• Steven (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Barcelona. There are some nice little bars if you wander away from the busy areas. The rooftop bar is excellent and probably has one of the best views in Barcelona. Our only concerns were the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment with grouting coming away from the tiles and the heated towel rail was covered in rust.

• Lei (8/5): - I like everything about this hotel, including the best location (a 3 mins walk from Sagrada) the buffet breakfast, the rooftop bar and a spectacular view of sagrada out from the hotel room window. Things need to improve: Shampoo and shower gels are extremely watery (need to use half bottle to wash my hair). The buzzing noise and the heat from the bathroom mirror light is hard to ignore. The door key card is tricky to use, need to try a few times to make it work.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.

• April (10/5): - It is a close to attractions like Sangrada. Though this area is safer than others you still have to look out for thief’s. There were pick pockets in the streets and followed us into shops. This seems to be the case everywhere in Barcelona. The staff were perfect and so accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Looks like it hasn’t gotten renovations since the nineties… room 501 great view. Neighborhood is very unsafe and loud. saw several homeless people camping nearby and in the back of the hotel

• Sheila (8/5): Great view of Sagrada Familia - The location is great for visiting the Sagrada Familia. The hotel is decent, they provide robes and slippers which is nice. The view of the church is incredible. We had a room with a bathtub, however the paint on the bathtub was peeling and there was no water faucet for the bathtub, only a shower head and sprayer. The breakfast was really good. The parking area is tight (just like every parking lot in Spain) but really convenient.

• Jole' (10/5): - The staff here are what made our stay great. They went above and beyond. I booked this hotel for my elderly aunt and I. She does not walk well, but her dream has always been to visit Spain. I did not know that the elevator doesn't go up to the terrace and there are 2 flights of stairs to get there. When the maintenance lady saw that we stopped at base of steps because we couldn't go up, she called in reinforcements. 2 burley gentleman helped get my aunt up the steps and she was able to see La Sagrada Familia and the gorgeous view. All of the front desk, cafe and restaurant staff were wonderful. Made this stay forever memorable for my aunt and I am so grateful
• Tina (8/5): - I’d visited the roof top terrace on a previous trip so knew the hotel was located in a good area next to the Sagrada Familia and in walking distance to other sights. The staff were friendly upon check in and gave information on how guests can use the terrace (free of charge and no need to book). We found the room to be very clean with amenities that included a shower cap, toothbrushes, tissues and a comb. The room was very cold due to a good AC unit which was a great relief. Coming back every night was lovely after hours of walking in the heat! The few issues we did find included the door of our bathroom getting jammed every time it was closed so it was a bit tricky getting in and out once it had been closed properly, and the detachable shower was very weak. We didn’t opt for the breakfast as it was roughly an extra €17 pp per day so we’re not able to comment but this wasn’t an issue as there is a good bakery just round the corner and lots of brunch spots very close by (within a 5-10 min walk). Overall we had a lovely stay at Sercotel Rosellon and would definitely book again should we return to Barcelona.

• anthony (8/5): The best location ever - 1 night stay at the end of a cruise that ended in Barcelona. Only a few blocks away from the famous Sagrada Familiar which should be on everyone's bucket list. Numerous local restaurants everywhere you look.

We had access to the rooftop as we were hotel guests and we noticed so many people trying to get a table but they were sold out to people not staying at this hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we would stay there again when visiting Barcelona

Service and staff were incredibly nice and helpful. 100% recommend staying here and look forward to return for another stay and visit to this beautiful city.
• Mauricio (2/5): The hotel disregard the safety of their - We choose the hotel because the location and the reviews. When we arrived, just in the designated spot to park the car to check in, I’m front of the main entrance two bikes approach to us and open the car door and try to assault us. BEWARE one approach each side, it was Just in the entrance and it was 320 pm. When we came back at 1030 and when we were trying to enter into the parking lot THE SAME HAPPEN. Just in the entrance of their parking lot! When we complain they told us they could not do anything, that that is the Barcelona. We have visit Barcelona many times and this is a first and more in front of the hotel entrance . We said it was just in their premises and that THEY SHOULD HIRE SECURITY IF THEY KNEW THIS IS FREQUENT TO PROTECT THEIR CLIENTS. I repeat is just in the front door and entrance to their parking lot. It is a shame they allowed this to happen and ignore their clients safety ( to much of a coincidence to happen twice to us with a difference of hours) is a clear modus vivendi the hotel is ignoring . So bad this happen as the hotel and terrace and view to the sagrada familia is very nice.

The breakfast was reasonable and good. Rooftop bar was one of the best views of the Sagrada in the city. We even had a full moon. Wonderful place to stay.

It's a couple of blocks from the Metro station and everywhere is close by via the Metro. I wouldn't waste money on the cabs. I will say our bathroom had spot on the ceiling where mold was painted over. Other than that I would definitely recommend.

• Annie (10/5): - This hotel wins because of its prime location and the VIEW. The rooftop restaurant of the hotel is amazing with friendly and welcoming staff. Nothing comes close to this hotels rooftop view and the restaurant experience. The rooms are just OK. The towel warmer was old and rusty. The shower was leaking water to the area outside the shower. So the room itself was just OK. It was clean and it has enough closet space and it is spacious. The staff are helpful and they are very nice. Check in and check out was easy and quick.

• John (6/5): - The staff was very helpful and the location is very good. We had problems with the AC which was a major issue given the heat while we were there. Also, when we did get the AC working there was a strong sulfur smell. Additionally, there was some mold in the shower, which is an easy fix. The biggest issue is that we had left a “Do Not Disturb” on our door before going out for the day. When we returned the room had been cleaned everything moved and the AC was off. We had an early morning tour so had not secured a number of items, nothing was missing but we were frustrated with the event.

• Elizabeth (10/5): - Amazing and breathtaking rooftop view and excellent service. Very pleasant stay. One of two elevators was not functioning, but the wait was never long. Very well situated and so, so close to la Sagrada Familia and metro station. Breakfast is not free, but variety is good. Room is spacious, especially the bathroom. Air conditioning is refreshing! I left a favourite jacket behind in the room and upon arriving home, I was directed to Sercotel’s lost and found program and they found my lost item and the process of mailing the item back to me was terrific. Bravo and gracias!

The room was very dirty looking (walls, floor) despite it being clean. The bed was very small and seemed cheap and old. The room itself was very small. The washroom was so small and tight, the shower was also so small and tight and the door wasn't very functional and lead to water being all on the floor after a shower. I also found my stay to be extremely noisy. Not sure how thin the door and windows are but I could hear so much noise and disruption and people chatter outside the door and outside the windows. The rooftop terrace was definitely stunning and a great feature. Food choices were not so great however.

• Janice (2/5): - I had a previous stay here with a fabulous breakfast. This time our stay was horrendous. The AC didn't work properly, the food was so-so. Worst of all, our bathroom ceiling leaked in the shower and above the sink, causing a flooded bathroom at10:30pm. We were moved to a smaller room, but the hotel refused to make the situation right with an adjustment to the bill and told me to deal with Expedia. Expedia gave me the run-around, even though I had pictures and VIDEOS of everything, including the poor state of the room. No management or maintenance was on-site or reachable. No compensation to my credit card as requested. Do not go here unless you want to book disappointment!

• Sally (6/5): - Enjoyed being close to Sagrada however view that I paid for was partially blocked. For price, minimum amenities, not even tissues, and room was old and basic. Beds rolled around and elevators were scary and only one was in service.
• Sukhbinder (10/5): - My stay was excellent. Hotel staff were very friendly and approachable, rooms were clean and housekeeping was daily. We had 2 twin rooms which were next to each other facing the road. There was no road noise. Location was great, convenient for metro and good food options. The rooftop had amazing views and the food was good. We could access the rooftop whenever we wanted to see the view and take pictures, and we just needed to let reception know if we needed a booking for a table and they sorted it immediately with no issues. The only thing they could improve on is having a separate entry/lift for guests who just came in for rooftop.
