• Jon (10/5): - The Villa we rented was superb. On the water with a deck over the water. One of many Villas in Jolly Harbour. A short walk to the South Beach (Beautiful Beach). Great Bars and Restaurants at the Marina with live bands. Grocery store and Golf course next to the marina. We rented a golf cart to get around, but you can walk. Jolly Harbour is one of the best places in the world.
• Alison (10/5): - Having been to Jolly Harbour, I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. The property was clean and kitchen well stocked. The area around the villa was well maintained with amenities nearby including a bus stop to take you to town. Only feedback i would give would be to provide a what on guide in the villa that was current. We had a villa book but not a 2024 What's On guide. I pick one up from HBK on my last day. If i had issues the staff tended to them and when Storm Ernesto came, someone came around to check on us. It was my 10th time to Antigua and 4th time to Jolly Harbour. My husband loves it as he an fish off of the patio.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Unacceptable number of problems. - The villa is best described as “worn” and needing attention. The list of problems is endless… No Wi-Fi for four days No water to bathroom tap Broken toaster (All rectified within sixth day of stay) I prioritised these three problems otherwise I’d have spent too much time complaining Light bulbs not working No plugs in any of four sinks Mosquito net on patio doors ripped Kitchen surfaces grubby Cutlery old and greasy The list is endless I’m afraid. I would NOT recommend staying at HBK holiday rentals at Jolly Harbour. BTW - the Antiguan people are still as warm, welcoming and friendly as ever.
• Scott (10/5): - Our Villa at HBK Jolly Harbor was up-to-date and provided for all of our needs and comforts. In addition we appreciated the functioning wireless. There were a few light bulbs not working and I would recommend bringing adapters for the electrical outlets if you are using US plug-ins. There was one US outlet in the kitchen which we used for all phones & computers. Beautiful place to vacation!

• Savanna K. (10/5): Jolly Harbour is a sweet beautiful community! - My friend Kara and I found this place and booked it 3 months in advance. We asked for two large beds and we got them. James was very sweet and professional. He gave us our keys to 401 B. It was very modern clean and comfortable. All the restaurants in Jolly Harbour are very good. Al Porto’s was our favorite. The staff were very friendly. Some of the best dining we tried on the whole island. The beach was stunning and castaways was a fun place for drinks and good food. There was also a sweet private beach good for quiet time and a swim. We both can’t wait to return. And Jolly Harbour is where we will stay. It’s also a 5 min drive from 4-6 other stunning beaches with tons of great restaurants and bars. Loved Antigua!!!
• Darcy (6/5): Nice condo, close to the beach and Jolly Harbour - We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. very well stocked with linens, towels, beach chairs, Internet, kitchen items including coffee filters! What they didn’t have we were able to get at the epicurean market that was walking distance away! 5 minutes walk from the beach and Castaways restaurant. 10 min walk from the marina, and all of the restaurants by the marina. A great price for our stay!
• Lisa (2/5): Beware of Unit 248E - The unit was not a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. One shower and 2 toilets is not a 2 bedroom unit. The unit needs some major renovations! Cockroaches in the bathroom. Rental management company mediocre. Romeo was the only one that worked and had a customer service focus.
• Yusuf (10/5): Location, location, location - Very nice area. Beach and environment are excellent. Villa (237C) is in very poor condition needs a lot of upgrades. No wi-fi. Beds are not comfortable, doors have broken hinges, main door dead-bolt is broken, etc, etc. The location is A+ so that all makes the difference. We did not care the problem of the villa, we were out at the beach and restaurants all the time.
• Bev (8/5): Everything I needed... - My experience was very good. I just wanted a place to lay my head because I had family taking me out everyday. What I did not expect was for everything I needed to be within foot steps away. Some days I did stay or the property just because there was so much to enjoy and do. I will book here again.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice town homes next to the beach. - Staff was great, answered all questions and timely. Most of the Villas are dated and you may need to self-clean bathrooms on arrival depending on standards, but you want to spend your time at the beach and the pool anyway. Food is great, but remember this is a resort area and have the mindset to spend $75 a meal for 2 people with a drink. Get the golf cart for $20/day -- it's fun and well worth it getting around.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Jolly Harbour Villa Quality is Inconsistent - I went to Antigua in search of an investment property that I could also use as a vacation home. Jolly Harbour looked excellent. It is comprised of two "fingers" of villas, which Americans would call townhouses. One finger is in the north of the harbour and the other finger is in the south of the harbour. South finger villas are within walking distance of Jolly Beach and South Beach, which are very nice...beautiful water and sand. They are also within walking distance of about 6 restaurants, pool, tennis court, well-stocked grocery store, bank, car/golf cart rentals, and excursion agents. I not only stayed in a villa on the south finger but I visited several on both fingers with my real estate agent. What I found is that the villas vary tremendously from one another in terms of updating and cleanliness. Each villa is individually owned. HBK Villas appears to be the main booking agents, but there are several real estate agents in Jolly Harbour and they often act as booking agents for their clients. My particular villa was disappointing because it was not clean, was not updated, and lacked internet and a phone. It was central, however, as I mentioned. The Jolly Harbour Marina also appears to be in disrepair and a bit neglected. Landscaping is a bit shoddy, there is a grand old casino that sits prominently in the marina but has been closed for many years and is now an eye-sore, and the board walks are dilapidated. Recommendation: Ask for photos of your unit first.

• travel3 (8/5): Lo consigliamo e suggeriamo anche..... - soggiorno 14 notti: io, la mia compagna e il nostro bambino di 10 mesi. complesso ben curato, sicurezza ottima, tranquillità perfetta, servito da grande supermarket, piccola farmacia, negozietti, parrucchiere, bar e ristoranti il tutto in una dimensione molto umana (no grande resort). Indispensabile l'auto se volete girare l'isola. se invece volete rimanere all'interno del complesso vi suggeriamo comunque la golf car soprattutto se avete bimbi piccoli e passeggini (esempio. nostro appartamento/supermarket= 20 minuti a piedi ; nostro appartamento/spiaggia=30 minuti a piedi)! Spiaggia meravigliosa, piscina fruibile e servita di spogliatoi/bagni/docce. Diversi ristorantini all'interno ... un po' cari! Appartamenti: tutti su 2 piani- IL nostro IL N° 335/a con 2 camere,3bagni,sala/soggiorno,patio con attracco natante, lavatrice,microonde,forno,piccolo freezer. Hanno fatto le pulizie(no cambio biancheria letto/si cambio bianch. bagno) 3 volte nei 14 gg. Gli appartamenti sono tutti disposti ugualmente ma all'interno differiscono molto. Il nostro era un po' trasandato e disordinato, non molto pulito e curato.Il patio lasciato andare e sporco. Questo dipende da come vengono tenuti dai proprietari (HBK infatti affitta per conto dei proprietari veri che magari sono inglesi o americani e ci vengono 1 volta all'anno). Niente da eccepire quindi al servizio ed alla disponibilità di HBK. Consigliamo di chiedere di visionare l'appartamento PRIMA di prenderne possesso!
• Andreas (6/5): Room for improvement. - Close to the beach although the beach could have been cleaner. Sadly, cigarette ends, empty bottles and bonfire ashes spoiled the overall effect. The sea however was beautiful. The accommodation had a number of teething issues which involved chasing the staff until they were addressed. The village facilities were good with a good choice of eateries, a pharmacy and a decent supermarket. I believe the villas do vary somewhat and are spread around the development, so the standard of furnishings and fixtures is variable too as is proximity to the facilities on site. It's a decent location on the island and we would go back again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): consigliato - ho soggiornato per due settimane all hbk le ville sono nella posizione ideale in un complesso molto tranquillo non ordinato. a due passi dal mare e da una delle spiagge più belle (scegliete la zona south finger) la pulizia lascia un po desiderare.ma basta chiedere e vengono a pulire la villa.non perdetevi le feste al ritmo di musica al castaway sulla spiaggia e il tramonti...

• D (4/5): Not close enough to the beach. - Everything was too far from the beach restaurant and bar was closed for the season. The only restaurant close enough to us offered a poor choice of meals. I expected local food flavors and seafood. Which was not available.
• Raffaella (10/5): Ottima villa vicino a spiaggia stupenda - Soggiorno perfetto. La villa si trova in un residence bellissimo da 5 stelle. La villa che abbiamo affittato aveva 5 posti letto. Su due piani con due bagni e cucina. Posto silenziosissimo. All'interno del residence si può girare con macchina per il golf e quindi trovare spiaggette solitarie. Altrimenti a piedi noi siamo stati molto fortunati la spiaggia principale (è la più bella dell'isola) era a 5 minuti di distanza. All'interno del residence, c'è un supermercato, che ha prodotti italiani e americani (così come i prezzi...). Il posto è davvero solitario in questo periodo (agosto) quindi per chi cerca confusione non è adatto.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel for family - We loved the area and the ability to have a 2 bedroom condo at the same price as a regular hotel room. The couch in our unit was filthy. We could not even sit on it. The remainder of the unit was very clean.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good for quit retrieve. - Secluded, good for quit retrieve. The place is safe and I felt very comfortable. It is bit far away so you would need to rent a car to get around.

Intérieur complet comme à domicile: cuisine avec équipement complet: poèle réfrégirateur, salle de bain sur tous les palliers, salon avec télévision cablée, patio extérieur avec table chaise et avec BBQ et propane inclus avec vue sur l'eau.

• Loulou (10/5): Doesn't get any better! - The resort has everything you might need. In addition to the actual unit you stay in there is a swimming pool, tennis courts, a supermarket, several retail stores, and at least two excellent restaurants. A fabulous beach with restaurant and bar serving great food and better drinks, are close by; within walking distance if you get the right rental unit. Beach chairs were free and umbrellas were $5-10, depending on who you rented from. It was a bit of a hassel to get a parking pass but everyone is friendly and helpful. We had a few problems with the safe and a sliding patio door but the response was immediate and the 'fixes' were efficiently accomplished. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! The unit, which faced a canal with and ocean view, was two floors with a patio downstairs and a balcony upstairs. There were two bedrooms and two and a half baths. The kitchen had the basics - sufficient for our needs. It had air conditioning, a TV downstairs (but not in either bedroom), and a pull-out in the living room. We were able to park our rented car in the tiny driveway but golf carst are available for use on property. My husband had a great experience with Jolly Harbour Dives located on property.
• Natty (8/5): Antigua 3-11 marzo 2012 - Hbk villa è una serie di ville a 2 piani situati sulla marina del jolly harbour , tutto il complesso è curato e molto tranquillo. L'accesso è riservato ai residenti e la security è molto rigida se non si ha il pass non si entra. Nel complesso c'è un supermercato fornitissimo, una banca, la farmacia e diversi altri negozi, attenzione però agli orari di apertura e chiusura che sono dalle h 9 alle 17 e la domenica chiusi, tranne il supermercato che chiude alle h 20. La sera ci sono 4-5 ristoranti a disposizione tutti di buon livello. A poca distanza c'è la spiaggia molto bella. Unico neo che le pulizie della villa vengono effettuate ogni 3-4 giorni e non è il massimo, anche se hanno tutte 2-3 bagni e molti asciugamani a disposizione. La cucina ha tutti gli elettrodomestici e tutto il necessario per cucinare. Non tutte le ville hanno la safety box
• Johan (6/5): HBK villas, hyr en timeshare - Vi stannade i en lägenhet i två veckor. Gott om plats (2 rum, 5 sängar totalt), och fint vardagsrum och kök, även om mängden utrustning i köket var ganska tunnt. Vi fick uppfattningen att varje lähenhet ägs av en privatperson. Därför kan kvaliten säkert variera. Det vi uppskattade mest var att vi kunde utnyttja bryggan, vilket blev väldigt viktigt eftersom vi mötte upp bekanta som seglade i Karibien. Jolly Harbour är ett litet turistområde med vakter samt ett litet commercial center med en välsorterad butik samt 4 restauranger. Stannar man en längre tid vill man antagligen se andra ställen.
• Stephen (10/5): Perfect winter getaway. - The Villa which we stayed in was very nice and comfortable. It had plenty of room even though it was just my wife and I. We loved our location, close to the beach and one could walk every where in just minutes. The patio and the deck was perfect for siting out and enjoying the morning or evening air. We had a sun awning to keep the afternoon sun and heat off. The dock was a nice spot to do a little fishing from. We enjoyed having TV channels from New York where we are from.

• Stevie (6/5): Needs updating, but a good holiday location. - Although the resort has everything and more for a Caribbean holiday, the privately owned villa we rented through HBK Rentals at Jolly Harbour, was in need of some more refurbishment. It also lacked some basic kitchen utensils and the two en-suite showers needed adjusting to provide not only some water pressure, but also some warmer water. The staff were very friendly, despite reading other comments to the contrary, and responded promptly and did try to help out where they could. There were many nice restaurants nearby to suit all pockets. However, despite the disappointing villa, I would go again but next time take steps to ensure a better standard of accommodation.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great Week! - We stayed for a week. Room was great, close to the beach. Staff was very friendly. People that ran the local market are another story. Beach concessions were very friendly, ask for Boston. The villa is a little over a mile from shopping and restaurants, you might consider renting a golf cart.
• Tore (10/5): Excellent HBK! - Spent a week together with my daughter and enjoyed every minute! The villa was perfect located in the Jolly Harbour with easy access to the best beach on the island. Spacious rooms, clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds and our standard apartment had three toilets and two showers! The waterfront veranda was perfect for breakfast and dinner in the glittering moonshine. Reality outperformed the photos on internet. The reception-desk was very service-minded and helped out with any information needed. And the nearby Supermarket had a fairly good range of products, so we preferred cocking in the villa to restaurants. The Jolly Harbour was clean and felt safe after sunset. The only irritation was the too friendly guys on the beach, renting umbrellas, canoes, water scooters etc, but we found a shortcut escaping all proposals. Antigua is very close to the real paradise island!
• Terrence (10/5): HBK is worth the stay! - This is a beautiful gated community. The villas may be close to each other but you have a sense of privacy that is very relaxing. We had a waterfront villa. It was not beachfront but rather in the sense of a marina. The villas were clean and looked new. The applicances were new even though the TV was a small 19" and the refrigerator was only half sized. We had a 2 bedroom/2.5 bathroom villa. The bedrooms were quite large with the master looking over the marina. The bathrooms did not have windows, however, they all had powerful vents that are a necessity when there is not ventilation in the restrooms. There were a/c units in all the rooms but we hardly used them as we were seldom in during the day and most nights were cool enough. There are some things to bear in mind that may be simply mild concerns. When going onto the balconies, even though there were screens doors, mosquitoes would come in. Having an electric swatter or bug spray was easily remedied this. Also, maid service is extra, however, there was no mop or bucket there, but there was a broom and dust pan. Whenever we needed anything like towels, it was a phone call to the front desk and someone was sent. We also did not realize the electrical voltage was 220 before we checked in. If your electronics run on 110, you will need a transformer not a simple converter for the sockets. The beach was a short walk away. Each villa had its own driveway so parking our rental car was a snack.

• C (8/5): almost paradise - It was a very nice experience. Shopping was convenient. We stayed one week. The hotel information says their housekeepers come every other day and is supposed to be fully stocked with kitchen items etc. The housekeeper only came once. There were no brooms, mops, or other cleaning supplies. The washing machine was in bad repair. However, over all our stay was very pleasant.

• Monique (10/5): A Home Away From Home - I would highly recommend The HBK Villas!! They are well equipped with appliances such as refrigerator, microwave, stove and washing machine. Room maintenance is done every other day but if you need anything, you can call the front desk and have them bring you what you need such as soap, towels, etc. All of the air conditioning units kept the rooms cool which you will need after being in the hot weather! The hotel is nicely situated, within a 10 minute walking distance to shops, restaurants and grocery shopping. The hotel highly recommends you rent a car, which wouldn't be a bad idea. However, if you're in fine health, you can do the walk which is quite enjoyable. The beach is right around the corner from the villas. To me, the beach was just okay. It just needs to be picked up more with the empty beer cans and cups thrown around. Really wasn't expecting to see that in Antigua! However, I felt safe in the villas. There were guards outside all day and all night so I definitely felt safe. I highly recommend this hotel!
• Tamika (10/5): The island paradise - We arrived a little later than expected due to weather. The hotel was very accomodating and had our keys waiting at the security guard gate. The villa was perfect. The patio was large and had nice furniture. The view was great! The villa itself is a little dated and the washer is a european design, so it took a bit to understand how to utilise it. There is no dryer everyone just lays their clothes out to dry. Overall our experience was great!1 Will definately stay there again!
• Violette (8/5): Great Accommodation - We booked HBK Villas for three nights to surprise my second oldest brother for his birthday. My brother and his wife were spending a week at a timeshare villa of a friend at Jolly Harbour. My sister in law had no problems picking up the key for my brothers who arrived early for the surprise. As a matter of fact she got the office to give her a villa across the street from where she and my brother were staying. The villa was well kept and the water view was great. Unfortunately we did not get to spend anytime enjoying the porch but we had a good time. We already decided that for our family reunion next year that we would stay at HBK. James, who was manning the desk when I stopped in to sign for the villa was very friendly and accommodating. The guards do their job well in securing the property, so we felt very safe in taking late night walks. My brother had rented a golf cart so we had a ball driving around the complex. HBK Villas is a very relaxing place for families get together or just for a simple get away. I loved it and so did the rest of the group.
