- HildaLim (8/5): Location is not ideal. But overall stay was pleasant. - We chose this hotel as it seemed to have 3 pax to a room, which is not common for Japan small hotel room phenomenon. It was really good size and well equipped ! Enough space to walk around. Toilet was small and a challenge to hang towels and clothes. Housekeeping was not daily (which I was ok) and towels were replaced daily. Surroundings got very quiet (hardly traffic) and opposite a Lawson where we went to for daily breakfast. Within walking distance to Sumida river, good view of Tokyo Sky tree. About 20mins walk to train station or could take bus. Closing down in Jun, though.

Pegamos quarto de fumantes sem querer e ele fedia muito a cigarro mas é normal. não atrapalhou a viagem, foi erro nosso. Atendimento ótimo, não é um hotel 5 estrelas mas deu pra ficar. Muito perto do principal tempo, o ônibus passa bem na frente para a estação de tóquio! conveniência na esquina. muito bem localizado em Asakusa.

Shower and amenities where all there and extras like slippers, dressing gown robe and shaving razor all free of charge.

- Patrick (6/5): Heavily Outdated - It works. That sums it up. Good point being staff was very pleasant to interact with, price was good, location for me was good. Some people might find it a bit far from Asakusa station. The main problem, is the place is heavily outdated and in need of some serious care. Bathroom was extremely small even by japan's standard, everyrhing in the room looked ancient, window frame was crumbling and moldy. This hotel would gain a lot, by doing a round of investment and improving the condition of the building. Don't make this your base, it's okay for short stay, one or two nights at most and you will be happy to move to your next location.
- Simran (2/5): - The hotel room was not clean. The table, the bathroom tub corners, the windows were not clean, and really dirty. The bed sheets were also not super clean or fresh. The room’s wallpaper was torn off at few places. The hotel didn’t also had good clothing iron. The clothing that was given to me was not working properly. I had to charge the iron again and again after every 30 seconds or it would not iron my dress well. I spent 25 minutes ironing my dress and got late to my tour I had scheduled the morning. The most frustrating part was that the hotel was not clean at all. I asked for early check in and the staff told me to wait an hour saying that the room was not ready and they were cleaning the room. But they put me in the dirty room. I’m allergic to dust & mold. I had to get myself allergy and cough medicine the first & 2nd night I stayed there. I do not recommend people booking this hotel ever. Thank you

We understood it would be a bit smelly to which that was the only down side because we are non-smokers but we would diffuse the room with spray and it was okay. Good aircon and heating, great shower, beds were comfy and clean however pillows could be firmer/fluffier. Great location to train, views, food and staff were amazing. Overall it was perfect for us. I would stay again and book a non-smoking room if there was the option

- Predrag (10/5): Excellent hotel in terms of value for money - The room was not as good on the photos on Hotels.com website. However, the staff was wonderful, from reception, restaurant to housekeeping. Location is very good, with 10 minutes walk to 2 Asakusa stations, for Ginza and Asakusa line. Lawson supermarket right in front of the hotel, quiet neighborhood, reception offers toiletries. Breakfast was very good, and it is from 7-9.30am. Asakusa is a tourist destination itself, with famous temple complex, many souvenir shops, plenty of restaurants, very good exchange office near the main temple. Value for money in this hotel is an absolute 10, at leas when compared to New York for example. The food in Tokyo in the ordinary restaurants is very good, with very good prices. The meal I had in one of them for 1000 yen held me for 6 hours walking through the town. Hospitality in Tokyo is the best I have seen in any modern city, and I have visited over 90 countries of the world.

- Shane (8/5): Great budget stay - Well placed and as described. Well priced for the facilities Tumble dryer is really bad. It took over two hours to dry a small amount of clothing.
- Lynne (5/5): Good location, good staff, good price, but sub-par breakfast and overheated room. - Good location, short distance to train station and decent ramen restaurants. Heating was erratic; tried to open windows because they were fogging up, and had to really force them. Breakfast was disappointing--seating inadequate for number of guests, constantly short of food, constantly running out of coffee (and coffee itself was not very good). We stayed here many years ago, and remember a different situation: buckwheat pillows and amenities were offered, there was a very good espresso machine at breakfast, and plenty of seating for all. That's why we booked again, but now, not so sure we would return.

- Minh (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff even with various requests for amenities and luggage delivery/transport services using my limited Japanese and google translate. Key return system is a bit tedious if just going out to the nearby convenience store but the staff is always there and they're very attentive so it's not a huge flaw. Bus stops right in front of the hotel entrance and there is one going opposite direction towards downtown with many good shopping and food places right across the street corner next to the convenience store. Cleaning is only once every 3 days but that's more than plenty. You are provided fresh towels outside your room every day and they helpfully empty your trash if you leave it out as well. Overall lovely experience and would return in the future for low cost comparable to AirBnB while providing far superior accommodation and service.

- Lilith (5/5): It is okay to stay here for a very short time and with little luggage but otherwise not great. - The staff was friendly The bathtub had a leak or was installed in such a way that the bathroom floor was wet after every shower. The room was very small for two people and the room key had to be returned to the front desk before leaving the hotel during the stay. Such a measure felt rather unsafe for valuables ao. that were left in the room.

- Seb (8/5): - The hotel is conveniently located. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and the closest subway station is a 10-minute walk away. The area is also close to one of the biggest and most famous temples and commercial areas, and it's fairly quiet at night. The room is quite small, especially for two people. I recommend booking a two-bed room instead, as it's more spacious. The hotel's overall look is old, and there is a distinct smell in the hallways and elevator. Other than that, it is cheap and the staff is very kind and diligent.

If you didn't opt for the breakfast buffet, there is a Lawson across the street to buy food. The only thing was the laundry. The hotel only has one washer and dryer for the whole building.

The WiFi also didn’t work when both of us were connected to it. The walls also showed visible signs of black mold.

- Veerakit (8/5): Good location, good facility, Good staff service. - Good location which is close to Asakusa station. quiet and good facility. reasonable price with good support from staff. there is smell of smoking in the room. A bit far from Asakusa station if walk everyday but acceptable. Late check in which is same for almost of hotel in Japan.
