Guest Reviews
- FayeLG10 (6/5): Babes, I was there, I know whats going on! - Yaesu Terminal hotel was a mixed bag for me, for one I really like the location - just 5 minutes from Tokyo station, I also really appreciated the amenities that they had out in reception free of charge, and the coffee machine that was quick and easy to grab on the way out or on the way back up to the room. what I did not like was the absolute and complete lack of any and all space in the rooms. we were in a twin room, and there was about 20cm between the beds...which was the only place we could fit out 3 cases! there just wasn't enough space in the room for two people, plus bags and cases, plus shopping with us both trying to change at the same time unless someone changed in the bathroom. the lack of space was very frustrating on more than one occasion. The bathroom was also small, the toilet was so close to the wall i couldn't really sit on it properly, but the water pressure in the room was good and the fact the room had a fridge was very helpful too.
The hotel is a short walk away from a 7/11, Lawson and family mart as well aa gorgeous department store, the Pokémon Café, a Coco's curry house, and a 24 hour Matsuya! as well as being close to Tokyo station it was also close to Nihonbashi station too.
overall, the room was not what I would have chosen for myself but the hotel was selected FOR US as we were part of a tour, so made do for the time we were there, and the area was good for the transport links.
- Kazuhiko (10/5): - Clean
- emelie marie (8/5): - No Wi-Fi. Very disappointing
- Jay (10/5): Second to none. - Very cute hotel with very nice size rooms and modern design.
Staff was great and very welcoming.
They offer to all sorts of toiletries (at least 20 different things incl massage creams etc).
Location location location. That says it all. Close to so many attractions and is within less than 5 min walk from out of this world Tokyo Station.
- Alicia (2/5): Don’t stay here - I booked a room and within an hour I was at the hotel to check in. They had me fill out all the paperwork and when they realize that I was gonna put my cousins bags in my hotel room while we were out and about for the day they didn’t let me check in because they said the room was only for my belongings. I had stuff in her bag that I wanted to transfer over to my bag and they never allowed me to check in and didn’t give me a refund.
- Yasuko (10/5): - 東京駅まで徒歩で直ぐの場所でとても便利です。
- Joanna (4/5): Wont stay again - Very tiny room, farther from station than what it actually says. Very loud at night, a lot of drunk people on the streets outside and the noise comes through the wall. Room, especially the air condition, wreaked like cigarettes. The AC also kept shutting off saying needs cleaning. Called front desk twice. They did offer to change our rooms but we already had to figure out the space for that room and it wasn’t guaranteed that the next room wouldn’t have the same issue. It was very late when we checked in, around 1145 so didn’t want to go through that.
- Akiko (10/5): - 駅から近くで朝食もおいしい
- Joel (8/5): - It’s a very standard hotel in a convenient location. Pretty good for the price. Room design felt a little inconvenient for large luggage.
- Alan (6/5): - Construction noise is constant. Location to Tokyo station was very great. The air conditioning system worked very well and we were comfortable. The pillow feels like a brick and you have to hurdle to get into the tub. Staff is very friendly!
- Jean-Sébastien (8/5): - Well located
- Verified traveler (2/5): Close to station, helpful staff - Luggage storage before and after was extremely helpful. We borrowed umbrellas when it was raining. Service friendly prompt and professional.
- Stacey (8/5): - My only complaint is that the air conditioning didn’t work properly and we were very warm. We couldn’t open our window as we were right above all the vents and machinery for the building so it was too loud and a bit smelly to have it open. Location, however, was fantastic.
- Jila (10/5): - Helpful with directions and storing baggage after checking
- Lynda (10/5): - perfect hotel for an early train ride
- Teck Boon (10/5): Great location. - Hotel was closely situated near to Tokyo station. Transport was super easy and staff were friendly.
- Wesley (10/5): - Close to the station and very nice for the price. Great value.
- Christi (8/5): - Small but comfortable room. Very clean. Nice staff. Good value for the $. Also very close to Tokyo Train station which is a big plus. Buffet breakfast not worth the cost.
- Tian (4/5): - the equipments and setup in the room are quiet old. The air condition grill or condenser in the room is extremely dirty. Woke up in middle of the night and trying to find where did all the dust came from. Additionally for some reason I did smell food around 7 or 8pm ish not sure where it came from no window were opened.
- John (10/5): - Polite and close to Tokyo and Ginza
- Danny (10/5): Close to Tokyo station! - Great location for Tokyo Station . A bit small but it works!!!
Loads os restaurants in the area
Hato tours at JR STATION very accessible!
- Graciela (10/5): - Excellent hotel near the Tokyo Station, easy to find, clean and modern room, small but with everything needed. My room was very quiet even if there was a building in construction nearby.
- Chris (8/5): - A good value for a hotel in this neighborhood, near Tokyo Station. The single room is quite small but all I needed for one night before my flight out.
- Frances (8/5): - The room is pretty small. Hotel location is very close to Tokyo Station. Staff is very polite and helpful. Even I left a do not disturb sign on my door, cleaning staff left a bag of clean towels and toiletries outside.
- Kit Yin (8/5): - good location, helpful and friendly staff. If u have time for the breakfast, can skip theirs.
- Mark (8/5): - Good convenient location to Tokyo Central railway station. Certainly a big plus for travellers using JR as primary means of transport
- Isabel (10/5): - Great! Lots of amenties
- Osvaldo (10/5): Grat Stay for business or pleasure - Great location. Very clean. It is not a luxury hotel but has more that what you need to be comfortable. Recommended
- Niovi (10/5): - Yaesu Terminal Hotel was an emergency booking on my part after being stranded by the Shinkansens not running during the typhoon. With a location right by Tokyo Station, it is exceedingly easy to access much of Tokyo, and there is plenty to do within the immediate walkable area.
Hotel room was on the smaller side, as can be expected, but clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful and accommodating (including in assisting me with making a call to my previously booked hotel to let them know what was going on, since I do not speak Japanese).
Overall, I do highly recommend, especially if you're planning on traveling out of Tokyo Station, which is mere minutes away by foot.
- Yuexin (8/5): - The hotel is convenient to many places and closed to Tokyo station.
- Guy (6/5): - It was fine, but rooms small and could hear a variety of whines, clicks and rumbles as well as city noise from outside.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Location and efficient staff. Cleaning staff are especially helpful. The air conditioning was phenomenal and the hotel provided all the amenities and more.
- Kin (10/5): - Very close to everything and Tokyo Station. Room is small but clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location is great! The staffs were great, & amenities are nice!
- Sikder Monoare (8/5): nice location - great location nice hotel for short stay
- Stephen (6/5): - This was a reasonable business hotel near to Tokyo and Nihombashi stations that was of a good average standard that was fine for a two-day stay. Its convenient location was its main plus point and the only negative was the cheap but not really adequate breakfast.
- Taeko (8/5): - Very close to Tokyo station.
- Paul (10/5): - Inexpensive
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bathroom had what looked like black mold on the ceiling. The room looks a little worn if you look closely.
Bed was comfy. Overall, not a bad hotel. I loved the location since it was a short walk to Tokyo station.
- Wee Lan (8/5): - Location is veey good , 5 mins walk from Toyko station! Only downside is room is very small.
- Marie (10/5): - Very well located
But rooms very very small
- Herbert (6/5): - Area is very convenient and walkable distance to all the major train lines by Tokyo station. Hotel front desk is nice and provides a lot of amenities like lotion and hygiene care. Housekeepers provide bag of new towels and trash bags when “Do not disturb” is on the doorknob. Only issue we had with our room was the A/C being broken and a tad too hot.
- Paul (6/5): - Mould in the toilet. Poor ventilation. Some of the wood work is in poor condition. Excellent location, 5min walk to Tokyo station and there were many places to eat in the alleys around the hotel, though walk in during the dinner hours without a reservation, you may not get a table.
- rosie101010 (8/5): No frills but a great base for exploring - Stayed here for 5 nights on our tour of Japan. Teeny tiny rooms but spotlessly clean and fully equipped with fresh pyjamas every night and toiletries galore. There is a ‘top up’ counter in reception where you can simply help yourself to additional toiletries etc and a microwave and of course the ever present vending machine for drinks. There is a restaurant which serves breakfast but some of our group tried it and weren’t impressed so we simply bought food at the nearby 7/11 and stored it in our fridge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is fantastic near Tokyo railway station.
- Debbie (10/5): - Great location, quick walk to train station . Close to Imperial Palace
- Mun Kit Marcus (4/5): - Location was good and near Tokyo Station, aircon was not working, air in room was hot & stuffy, not able to sleep at all, staff was unfriendly and not helpful at all. Will give this hotel a miss if back to Tokyo.
- Percy (8/5): - Great location right by Tokyo station, hotel feels a bit old but staff service were excellent
- David (8/5): - Very well located, but difficult to find the first time around. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.
- JACQUES (10/5): - Easy walk from Tokyo station. Clean and nice hotel. Rooms are small but OK.
Breakfast is very reasonably priced but disappointing.
- Denis (10/5): - Convenient to the station shopping and restaurants
- Ariel (8/5): - First time here and it was nice and warm when we arrived due to the snow storm that day
- Terry (6/5): - During shower, not consistant, gets hot then cold, rooms too small
- Steven (8/5): Good Hotel In Tokyo Area - Good small hotel in Tokyo area with easy access to station and amenities. Used by myself as base for my travel outside Tokyo and has been always happy with service
- Steven (8/5): A nice hotel … will return - Not our first time and still our preferred hotel being close to Tokyo Station. Lots of amenities around.
I use this hotel as a base to travel outside of Tokyo and it has always been a positive experience.
- Nathan (8/5): - The hotel is very close to Tokyo Station. Double room is very small, bu fine for a solo traveller or staying just one night.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Lovely!
- Heather (8/5): - Great location
- Hyun Joo (4/5): - cleanliness standards were not met
- Hyun Joo (6/5): - Overall, this hotel was good except the Internet. The Wi-Fi was slow and had connection issues.
- Mavis (6/5): Journeys with chef Mav - Location close enough to Shinkansen entrance. Room very very small. Ok for the purpose of catching 1st train out.
- Peter (6/5): - There was a nice in house cafe/restaurant.
This hotel was rigid about checkin and checkout times.
- Victor (10/5): - Hotel convenient to the train stations
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional service! - Exceptional service, every single time From the front desk team. They go above and beyond. Service with a smile.
- Jonathan (10/5): - Staff were friendly. Room was very small, but was expected. Room was clean. No complaints.
- Boon Jen Steven (8/5): Good Value & Recommended - Location was near Tokyo Station about 5min walk from North Exit but exposed to weather elements in the final 100-150m.
Simple, clean and well equipped room but no complimentary drinking water provided.
A couple of small dining places and convenience shop just at back of hotel.
Would recommend.
Note: only hotel in my 21 days trip to send my luggage to the room *****
- Sherman (8/5): - Room Is extremely small
- Belinda (8/5): - Great location! 7min walk from Tokyo Station. Safe and quiet area. Really close to lively area Kinshicho Station. The only downfall was that the room was extremely small for us two. Found a few small bugs in bathroom but not a big deal
- AlexandraB385 (8/5): Well situated, convenient - Very conveniently situated, just a few minutes' walk from the main JR station. Standard small, room. The heating/air con was a bit temperamental (as so often) The front desk spoke some English (not much!): they lent me an adaptor. CNN available -- the only hotel in Japan where I could access it, I regret to say.
My only complaint would be that the restaurant was not open for breakfast, but my tour company should have alerted me to this. The restaurant was available for evening meals and I had a very pleasant one there.
- Dasom (2/5): - They break-in your room for cleaning before your check-out time(11:00am). They came my room (10:30am) while I am outside for my breakfast. There was my stuff in my room and they kept doing cleaning even though I came back my room and used the toilet in my room. Terrible and disgusting!!!! This is a very serious security problem.
- Jefferson (8/5): - As with many hotels in Tokyo, our room was certainly on the small side and showing it's age.
But as long as you know what to expect, the service and vicinity to Tokyo station was a welcome positive.
It's best if you're looking for a no frills place to stay.
- Akiko (8/5): - Close to Tokyo station, small but neat hotel.
- Wendy (10/5): - It's well placed, very close to Tokyo Station. I enjoyed my stay.
- Scott (10/5): - Check in was super easy. The staff held our snowboards in reception for us overnight. They were extremely helpful. Rooms very small but great for overnight stay close to tokyo station. Heaps of food options nearby.
- Katelyn (8/5): - Staff was super nice and friendly! Room is a bit small but almost every affordable place in Tokyo is. Could have been a bit cleaner in terms of the condition of the bathroom and carpeting. The water temperature was also inconsistent and would fluctuate from cold to hot. Besides that though, the location was great since it was minutes away from the airport bus stop and Tokyo station!
- Nicole (10/5): - The hotel lobby was on second floor and have distinct sign to locate the hotel. Room is clean and free of smells. Toiletries are provided by the hotel.
- Vegemitelover (4/5): Tiny room and mediocre breakfast - We have rarely had a disappointing room in Japan. We stayed for one night as part of a tour. We have stayed often in Japanese hotels which are small but this was the smallest we have stayed in. The room was minute and we could not open the suitcases on the floor. The breakfast which was included was substandard. Whilst this is very conveniently located near the station, there are better value options nearby which are slightly more expensive yet bigger.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The housekeeper took clothes, toiletries, and a 6" stack of papers from my nightstand. I reported this to the front desk. They called the housekeeper, who denied taking anything except what was in the wastebaskets. The 2 men at the desk said the housekeeper was telling the truth so they didn't believe anything was taken and the
hotel was not responsible for anything. They called the manager at my request, who confirmed the hotel had no responsibility. I called
the police, who came and said they couldn't do anything. I insisted on going through the hotel garbage bags, which the men said they had done, and I found a few of the papers, including a museum catalog from a special exhibition. I showed these to the men at the desk. One
said, "Did you find your clothes?" in an accusatory tone. He repeated the hotel had no responsibility. The next morning the manager was still not there. When I returned to the hotel in the early evening the manager took me into a separate room and apologized. The housekeeper admitted making a mistake, confusing my room with another room where the guest was checking out. Really? Then
why didn't the housekeeper take my jacket, food in the refrigerator, and the rest of my toiletries? The housekeeper still did not tell the
truth; and the attitude of the 2 men was rude and insulting.
I received a refund, which I said was fair. But as long as that housekeeper and those 2 men are working at the hotel, I would not
recommend staying there.
- Sonia (10/5): - We stayed here for one night as it is across from tokyo station for our shinkansen travels the next day. The room was spotless and layout practical for the small space. The staff were polite and the beauty sample pack was very thoughtful. Would recommend.
- Grant (8/5): - I mainly stayed here for the location and price. Close to Tokyo station and the Ginza Line. Reasonable price. Facilities aren't the newest, but still nice. It would have been nice to have a slightly bigger spot for my bag and a few more hangers. Also, would have been nice to have a room safe, but Japan is pretty safe so I wasn't really that worried.
- petey9145 (10/5): Everything You Need - So I have stayed three nights in this hotel. It is convenient to Tokyo Station so it gives you access to Tokyo’s subway and train system. The bus stop for the Tokyo Shuttle is just around the corner and that is how we arrived here from the airport. The room is clean and has everything you need. I see in other reviews people commenting on how small the rooms are. They are small but we are comfortable with the space. If you judge the size of the room from a western view you will be disappointed. Around the hotel and at Tokyo Station are many places to eat so you will not starve. I would recommend this hotel to a traveler who is comfortable traveling from a carry on size luggage.
- KarenPerry31 (10/5): Small room, but nice - My husband and I stayed 1 night here before heading to Kobe for a cruise. We wanted something affordable and close to Tokyo Station and this fit the bill. We had a double room, which was very small. We had 2 large suitcases so it was a little tight. The room was quiet and clean and about 5 minutes from the station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet. Fast Check in. Courteous staff. Everything needed is provided.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good location - Close to Tokyo station. Perfect especially if you are flying out to HND after staying as it is very close to the limousine bus terminal to the airport. Room is small, but has everything you need.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location for tokyo station yaesu north exit
Clean but too small room
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Fantastic location, located on Sakura street. We stayed during the Sakura festival and it was amazing. Very helpful staff. Room was small, but very clean. Surrounded by amazing restaurants. Will definetly be staying here again when we come back to Tokyo.
- Lee Lian (8/5): - The room is really small for two luggages. Overall cleanliness is good, amenities are practical.
- soh (10/5): Amazing location - Amazing location. Just right across Daimaru and tokyo limousine terminal. Hotel is new. Alot of restaurants right outside the hotel.
- Wayne (8/5): - You get what you pay for, its a new-ish no frills budget hotel. The location is AWESOME 10/10 as its close to the JR main station, and its also very close walk from the Nihombashi station direct from Haneda airport. Its very small but clean. Does the job for my 1 or 2 night overlays.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient to tokyo station, clean and efficient. Have stayed here many times and is nice for an overnight trip
- Josephine (10/5): Value-for-money! - The hotel was quite hard to find, especially at night. However, the directions provided by the hotel's website were useful. The hotel staff was friendly and the hotel was quite conveniently situated, with two convenience stores around the corner.
- 88irisa (8/5): Great for a short stay - We only stayed at this hotel for our first night in Japan, we had to catch a train the next morning. I chose this hotel for the convenient location as we needed to be near Tokyo Station and we couldn't picked better, there's a combini just outside, a Starbucks and lots of eateries nearby and in the station. I was a bit worried about the room size as many earlier reviews complained about it, but we found the room big enough though on the cosy side. The bathroom was a bit harder to navigate but still manageable. Nonetheless I would still recommend this hotel, the staff were very welcoming and nice, we were given little goodie packs with toiletries and free water. The wifi was ok though disconnected a few times. We didn't have breakfast included in our rate but Starbucks opened early across the road.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good choice by Tokyo Station - The location is one block away from Tokyo Station, so super easy to get to from either Narita or Haneda airports, and then easy to get around once you are in tokyo. This means less screwing around time traveling, and more time in Tokyo. Some rooms are *really* small, even for tokyo. If you are by yourself it's funny, but if you are traveling with someone, you should opt for the larger rooms.
Rooms were a bit hot and took a while to cool down, otherwise ok.
- Veronica (6/5): Very uncomfortable. No sleep had! - Location was great . Close to bus station. The room was very clean. The beds were so
Uncomfortable. I laid on my side and it left marks on my body from the springs . The pillow was very hard as well. Would not stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Mind to have cleaning for the air conditioner, it was quite dusty
- SophiaAS (8/5): Convientently located near Tokyo Station - This hotel was conveniently located near Tokyo station which was our hub for visiting all the locations we wanted while we stayed in Tokyo. The room was small but we fit just fine with our carry on luggage and were out sightseeing most of the day anyway. Good water pressure in the shower, and the room came stocked with robes and green tea. My only complaint would be that the beds were hard and not very comfortable, but the staff was friendly and we had a nice stay.
- Ron (8/5): - Good location near Tokyo Station terminal. Very small room but clean and quiet and efficiently organized
- Verified traveler (6/5): The room is so small - It is very close to Tokyo Station which is big plus, but the room is very small and not comfortable. I'm afraid I can't recommend due to this reason.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Convenient to Tokyo Station and shopping. Would stay again.
- L7374GCemilyd (8/5): Great location! - Great location if you need to be close to Tokyo Station for an early train trip! Hotel was clean and well set up. My room was very small, but easily adequate for one person! The ladies lounge on the top floor with coffee machine is also a nice touch!
