- Bryan (9/5): Very good and hope to stay here again. - The hotel is easy to reach from the airport - changing from one train to another is easy. There are a lot of interesting places to visit within walking distance. Breakfast is a mixture of styles of food. Staff are all helpful. We've stayed here about 5-6 times, which we wouldn't have done if we didn't like it. Some people think the rooms are rather basic but if you want to pay a lot of money there are plenty of other places. After all, Singapore is a place where you will want to be out doing things.

What made rhe experience even more memorable was the excellent service by Managet Kumar, who has been working there for 11 years. He is always incredibly attentive, warm and professional. He ensures everything ran smoothly and made us feel genuinely welcomed, and going the extra mile to exceed to our request,which added a personal touch to dinning experience.

- Viorel (8/5): Spacious rooms and great location near the lovely Fort Canning park! - Spacious triple room with a king size bed and separate twin bed was perfect for me and my husband traveling with our teenage son. I loved that each of us had our own end table with drawer and shelf. Plenty of room to spread out! Also, the cucumber lemon water in the lobby was much needed refreshment after a day of touring under the hot Singapore sun! Only down side were the pillows, which were rock hard. Also, it would've been nice if they provided a hand towel.

- attahharysan (10/5): The best hotel and good service from security officer - I didn’t get to explore the hotel much as I was here to attend the Red Cross seminar, but it is by far one of the coziest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room is comfortable and inviting, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is warm and welcoming. Even the scent of the hotel is pleasant and adds to the experience. The hotel staff are courteous and professional. A special mention goes to the security officer, Saifullah, who was very helpful with our luggage from the moment we arrived. He is always seen smiling in the lobby, greeting all guests in the morning, including us. I would love to come back in the future if we attend another seminar. Great job, YWCA!
- ckmstrengths (10/5): Great hotel in a great location - YWCA Fort Canning offers a great package in terms of comfortable rooms, clean facilities, wonderful staff and located in a very convenient location near Orchard Road. My guests had a lovely stay and will definitely come back again. Amongst the wonderful staff, special mention to Mr Rathen who provided great service in ensuring safety and security for my visitors when their airport transfer bus came to the hotel. All the other staff from the Reception to the Cafe extended wonderful service to all my guests too. Congratulations and well done!

There was some noise when other rooms opened and closed their doors, especially early in the morning. There could have been more attention to cleaning, especially in the bathroom. I had to ask for some very nasty marks to be removed near the toilet and there was a lot of dust building up in the corners and around the bed.

The hotel was clean, cozy, and well-kept, which made it easy for us to relax after a full day out. A small highlight was one evening when we got a bit turned around in the hotel and needed help. The security staff, Saifullah, was approachable and guided us patiently. He was also very friendly towards my kids, always acknowledging them when we passed by, and they felt comfortable seeing a familiar face around. Overall, a comfortable and safe stay. Would definitely come back again.

- satoshi (8/5): シンプルなステイならおすすめ - シンプルだが、立地や部屋の広さが良かった。 各種予約サイトの様子では、写真が全般的に暗いし、どうなんだろうって悪い方向に予想がいきがちだっただけど、我が家は過剰なサービスは必要としてないし、 人数分のベッド（5ベッドを探すのは結構大変） あったかいシャワー（これは南国あるあるでまぁお湯かな？程度だったけど） 荷物を広げられる広さ（これは十分あった） 交通機関的に観光地に出やすい（GRABを使うが自分たちだけでも動きやすい） という観点で、良かった。 ちなみに、40代夫婦と小学生（8，10，12歳）の5人家族です。 強いて言えば、 客層に某C国の方が多い（各所で負けそうになる、例えば朝ごはん会場では根こそぎ取られるなど） マグカップを割りお金を請求された（しかも10SDsで高かったし。まぁ割ったのは悪い） 掃除の行き届き（床は茶色の板、よく見ると髪の毛が落ちているがよく見ないようにしたら見えない） シャワーがもう少しあったかいと良い コインランドリーの値段は、宿泊費に対して高い（だからか、みんな使わないのでほぼ貸切だった） とかだが、まぁ1人10,000円なので、また使うかもなぁと思ってはいる

The ballroom was spacious, elegant, and well-maintained, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The layout was flexible and comfortably supported our programme flow, from registration to the main stage segment and networking session. The audio-visual setup and lighting were well-managed, ensuring smooth presentations throughout the event. We would especially like to commend Yvonne and Royston for their outstanding support. They were professional, attentive, and highly responsive from the planning stage through to the event day itself. Their calm coordination, flexibility, and willingness to assist with last-minute adjustments gave us great confidence and contributed significantly to the success of our event. Overall, our experience at YWCA Fort Canning was excellent, and we truly appreciate the dedication of the team. We would be happy to consider the venue again for future events and highly recommend it to other organisations.

- Wander16367534847 (8/5): Ok for family trip, fair price for a good location - I took my parents to Singapore for Chinese New Year holiday, everyone in the hotel was very kind and nice, they always smile and greet, it was a lovely experience for my parents who visit Singapore for the first time, special thanks to staff YAZID, he upgraded the family room for us, for welcoming us. The room was alright, tbh it could have been better, but it’s a fair price for such a good location, one thing that I didn’t enjoy was people were shutting door loudly, I know they didn’t mean it, but the doors were annoying at the late night. 晚上睡觉关门的声音有点大，对于老人家晚上需要休息好点还是不建议，早餐都是白人饭，需要看看家里人是否习惯，交通便利，环境还可以。

One evening my wife really wanted to buy a waffle from the vending machine, but it refused to accept credit cards or US dollars — a real emergency 😄 Maria, while on duty as a security guard and showing her big heart, didn’t hesitate for a second. She went and bought the waffle for my wife with her own money. In that moment, I realized this woman has an incredibly kind heart — she truly saved my life that evening! Thank you, Maria, for your kindness, generosity, and genuine care. Team members like you make a hotel feel like home.

- Compass06306810227 (8/5): Great location and helpful staff at YWCA Fort Canning - I had a wonderful vacation staying at YWCA in Jan 2026. Son and Siva provided excellent assistance during my check-in, and the other staff members were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was spacious enough to comfortably open two suitcases at the same time, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is a major plus, with easy access to nearby bus stops and MRT stations, making it very convenient to get around.

The hotel staff was very attentive and reactive. The food was delicious and the rooms spacious. I highly recommend this hotel for events.
- 996arseniim (10/5): Very nice hotel! - An excellent hotel located in one of the best areas of Singapore. Large shopping malls, a park, the metro, restaurants, and cafés are all within walking distance. The prices are very good considering the location. The rooms are not large, but everything is clean and cozy. There is a swimming pool on the third floor where you can cool off in hot weather. The front desk staff are very friendly and ready to help with any questions. I really liked it and would recommend it.

- Alessandra (9/5): Nice family weekender - Luggage storage area available if you get there before check-in time & want to explore. Generous sized rooms. Clean & no funky smells. Hotel is close to train and bus station. Shower water pressure is very strong. Rooms were provided bath mat and towels but not hand towels. Coffee was not refilled despite having door tag as “please tidy.” Would have been nice to have a hair dryer provided as well.

- gilliancX3744IR (10/5): YWCA Wedding - We had our wedding banquet held in YWCA. My husband and I were just reflecting how thankful we are for choosing to go with YWCA for our banquet dinner. We are thankful to Ee Ling, who was really amazing in her customer service (fast replies!) and we felt really assured the whole way that she had our best interests at heart during the whole planning process. The service of the staffs each time we went down to pay and the staffs (Royston) who served us on the day of the dinner were great too! We really appreciated how clear she was in explaining to us what had to be done, and the many different options for payment/food choices. And from those we have spoken to, they were all really satisfied with the food! The atmosphere was rly nice and the AV and sound were done well too! Thankful for the staffs with helping us with the wine, the carpet setup and all as well :)
