- Marc (10/5): - Das Olive Hotel & Residence Bangkok Sukhumvit 101/1 (ehemals Golden Pearl) überzeugt vor allem durch seine geräumigen Zimmer im Apartment-Stil und sein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Großzügiger Wohnraum: Sehr geräumige, saubere Zimmer, die oft mit einer praktischen Küchenzeile ausgestattet sind. Gute Anbindung & Umgebung: Etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu den BTS-Stationen Udom Suk oder Punnawithi. Der moderne True Digital Park mit vielen Restaurants liegt direkt um die Ecke. Schöne Extras: Ein toller Rooftop-Pool mit Whirlpool und Stadtblick sowie ein gut ausgestattetes Fitnessstudio. Zum Parken: Ja, es stehen Parkplätze direkt am Hotel zur Verfügung.

- chris029 (7/5): Decent Budget Stay with Great Location, But Showing Its Age - + We stayed at Hotel Olive Residence in Bangkok for 3 nights and 4 days. What we liked most was the excellent location, which is within easy walking distance to the BTS station, a large shopping mall, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient for our trip. We also thought it offered good value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. - what we didn’t like was that there is no bellboy service, so we had to carry our own luggage. Our room was very noisy at night because of the night market right beside the hotel, the air conditioning was extremely loud and old, and the room itself felt quite dated and in need of renovation or touch-ups. In addition, the hot water in the bathroom took a very long time to come through, and the hotel does not have 24-hour reception, so we had to inform them the night before about our early checkout to get our deposit back.

- harish (9/5): Delightful stay in a well maintained and managed hotel. Above all, the price paid was well worth it. - The room is essentially a suite. Has one bedroom, one living room with an adjacent dinning area. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. Overall a great experience. Nothing really. We needed an ironing board and iron and when it was provided, the board was faulty. Called the front desk and that got fixed quickly.

The bed was very cozy, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. I really appreciated the attention to detail. Location: The location is perfect 😀 convenient and easy to get around. It’s close to BTS , True digital park everything I needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived and were always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were excellent and well taken care of. Everything was clean, organized, and added to the overall relaxing experience. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

- Si Min (4/5): Not For Light Sleepers - Location is good. In general, it was very clean in the rooms. Whole room looks well maintained and renovated for an old property (except the wardrobes). Complimentary water was provided every day. Mainly the staff. When I arrived with four bags, there were zero other guests around and neither receptionist bothered to get up and help even with the door. I feel like it’s not even an expectation of a hotel staff but basic courtesy one would extend to anyone else? Not sure if I’m expecting too much but this is the first time I’ve encountered this behaviour here during my various business trips. One morning I came to the lobby and found the receptionist sleeping with her head down on the counter, so I didn’t want to wake her up to ask for some info. There are mosquitoes in the room and also somehow my room faced a karaoke or bar with a live band so it was noisy most nights and I had to wear ear plugs to bed every night. There’s loud street traffic too, so I wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers. The toilet flush stopped working at some point. (This was definitely not due to paper toilet clog as the plunger didn’t even work ie zero water came out.) Toiletries provided in the room were mostly half-opened.

- Darleen (10/5): - We stayed for one week and had a great experience. The room was spacious and clean. Our suite included a large refrigerator, microwave, and a hot water pot. The pool is gorgeous and beautiful in the evening. It's a short walk to the BTS, a 7-11, and numerous eating options. Grab rides pick-up at the front door and the laundry was convenient. The helpful, friendly staff cannot be beat.

There's a bath tub in there but it was very poorly maintained - Other than that, everything else is acceptable. Love that there are so many shops and dining options within 2 minutes walk, including Seven Eleven, massages, True Digital Park (food court and more restaurants options opened till night).

- THAIS (10/5): Bom local próximo ao BITEC - Hotel seguro em boa localização e funcionários muito atenciosos. Extremamente limpo. A estrutura é mais antiga, mas não atrapalha em nada. Recomendo.

- Jonathan (4/5): Bad Communicators! - I was arriving late, after 2:00 in the morning and so I wrote the hotel ahead and they sent me a form reply, which was useless to me, and only confirmed that I would have a problem checking in late at night. I wrote them back conveying that their answer was unacceptable and useless. So I booked a room near the airport, costing me an extra $34.00. The next day I checked into the room and the next morning I received a reply back from them that they could give the key to their security guard, two nights late. The bed was rock hard and their card key system worked poorly, had to scan my card three times to do anything. The location is alright, there is food nearby and two weed dispensaries next door.

- Janina (8/5): Very good - Very spacious and nice apartment, in walking distance to BTS and lots of Cafés and Restaurants around. I would stay here again. Corners (under desk and dressing table) could have been cleaner. Staff was a bit hit and miss, some of them very helpful and friendly some not so much. Property charged me 1000THB deposit saying it was policy, but upon checking I could not find it. Not a massive issue, but make people aware of it.

- Sara (10/5): It was a comfortable short stay with exceptional staff! - It was a central location and quieter at night. The pool was lovely for a quick night time swim. The room was big and allowed our family to sprawl out a bit. The staff were very welcoming and kind. Dan went above and beyond to help problem solve some travelling difficulties my family was encountering. We are so thankful for his listening ear and all the kindness he showed to us. Thank you Dan!! Nothing

- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - In spite of the location being a bit far out, there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. Blackout curtains worked well for a good night's sleep. Comfortable bed. Skytrain about a 10 to 15 minute walk in either direction. Hard pillows. TV only offered two channels which were english language, and the picture was snowy. Low water pressure in the shower and no in between hot and cold.
- Mel (5/5): Passable - Hard matress and pillow. Quiet area. No cutlery prepared, housekeeping is moody, wifi was unstable, our shower water pressure was bad and hot water comes n goes.
- Aditya (6/5): Ok Stay, avoidable unless no other option available - It was spacious and that is all Property is pretty old and dated Floor was very dusty when we checked in Washing machine not part of the apartment but common for the building, need to pay extra to use it Kitchen utensils aren’t provided and need to requested separately No provisions to wash and clean the vessels Kitchen is very old and appliances are past their use by date Quality of toiletries and tea coffee provisions very basic and low Room slippers were used soiled and mouldy And location is very far off from anywhere, BTS to central costs 60-70 baht one way so be mindful of that
