It is located in a very convenient location in the festival city. The view from the room was great. My kiddo really enjoyed it. Entire hotel staff was very helpful and respectful. Rooms were modern and very clean. The breakfast offered verity of food options for everyone. I would definitely stay in the Intercontinental residence in my next visit.

- Shaikh Sohaib (10/5): - I stayed at the Intercontinental Residence Suites for 5 nights in August and I have to say it was one of my best stays. From the moment I checked in (which was 2am) I was so relaxed as everything was so smooth and efficient. I was travelling with 3 children so was a bit nervous but everything was lovely. The rooms were really nice and had everything I could ask for with children. The indoor pool was just what we needed to keep kids entertained specially as it was too hot outside. It was very clean and child friendly. The breakfast was also really good and had everything you could ask for. Special mention to Caroline who was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for kids. Housekeeping was also really good and our rooms were clean before we came back after breakfast. Special thanks to the driver of the shuttle too as one of my guests came to visit us but ended up at the other Intercontinental and their cab left them but the shuttle bought them to us at the Residence suites so special thanks. All in all had a great stay and very relaxing. The only downside was that my room was on the first floor as hotel was busy so didn't get a nice view. Apart from that would really recommend and will be staying here next time with family! Thank you!

- Khalid (6/5): - The room was nice. However, the attached bathroom with a tub for shower was fixed in such a way that it was difficult to enter to take a shower. The glass partition was only quarter of the length of the bath tub and therefore when you took a shower the water would leak out on the floor and thus become slippery was was quite dangerous. Other than that the room and service was very nice. My suggestion is that they should replace the bathtub with a standing shower stall

The Hotel provided a shuttle service to it's sister hotel across the highway. Staff were very helpful and polite. We felt very welcome there and the beds were okay comfort-wise to sleep in. The view and location were like a mini escape from the city. The internet log-in was very simple to go through. Thanks for the positive experience.

- Samer (8/5): Intercontinental Comfort in a Quiet Setting - The hotel upgraded the room as expected from being an Intercontinental Ambassador Club member. The rooms are well furnished and maintained. The view was beautiful and the area is very quiet and relaxing in the evening. The hotel has a small restaurant on the ground floor. The complex has a mini market, a bakery / pizzeria and a dry cleaners which are very convenient. Many more dining options are available at the Intercontinental Hotel which is accessible by a hotel complimentary shuttle. The overall experience is very good and I recommend this property.

- Verified traveler (8/5): great room - This is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly & helpful. There's a free transfer bus between this property & the nearby Crowne Plaza & Intercontinental hotels, which adjoin the Mall. The room we had was a beautiful studio, it had a kitchen & large bathroom. Only negative was the wall between us & the adjoining room is quite thin & it didn't provide much soundproofing. The loud noise from the family next door was quite annoying.
- Hisham (2/5): Not a good choice for a leisure trip - I did not like the hotel. It was not clearly mentioned that the hotel has two buildings and the resident is not connected to the mall as the second one. The suite is a two-bedroom apartment!! and the layout is boring. The carpet has several patches! The lower floor suites have no view like the one I had. In summary, I won't try it again nor recommend it for some one. If you come for a leisure, this hotel is basically not the one.
