- 44anselmor (2/5): Hotel from hell - Checked into a room at this place. Specifically ask for the Junior Suite showed the concierge a photo of the room and details and they put me in a tiny smelly room which was 800 Hong Kong dollars (300 dearer than booking.com) and charged 1000 Hong Kong dollars for security fee. Went back to concierge and stated that is not the room requested, he stated that room was not available. I pressed him on the fact that it was still available on booking.com and he stated it was only for privileged guests. What an absolute rude flog. Asked for a refund and left. Recommend that no one should ever go through that kind of abuse.

- Joel (10/5): - Standard gambling hotel property. Large, clean rooms that are a bit impersonal but have all the basics incliding a comfy bed. Robes and a full selection of toiletries provided. Front desk people were surly and unpleasant at both check in and checkout. Hotel on the upper end of the strip but that made it peaceful. Walkable to the ruins and Senator Square and the bigger, more popular casinos at the bottom of the strip. Not a lot of dining choices around the property, but there is an in-house restaurant and café (didn't look interesting so i didn't try). It's very close to the outer harbour ferry terminal which is a bonus. Overall a good place to stay except for the cold staff.

- Sybel (8/5): - We stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest option compared to others and it has a pool. We were looking forward to it. Pool access is free; however, we need to pay an additional MOP 50 per person just for the swim cap/shower cap, which we thought would be free for all guests. We were a bit disappointed, so we ended up not swimming and decided to use the MOP 50 for our dinner instead of the swim cap. Lol. Still we recommend this hotel and near the ferry terminal and bus stop.
- Candy (6/5): - The room is roomy. We added an extra bed and the extra bed is comfy than expected. However, the towel has a dead insect attached that scared me off. The hair blower is working well except it cannot be turned off. We can only “turned it off” by unplugging it.

- Atri (10/5): Pleasant Stay - It was my 4th time stay @ casa real with friends & family… one of the best Hotel in Macau. Location, Service & Staff support is always remarkable. If you want to win in Casino, you need max luck…which I don’t have. My luck always blooming @ Sand’s Casino..😜😃 stay @ Casa Real is unforgettable, pleasant. Food serving in resturant has variety of food for vegetarians. Walking distance to Ferry Terminal is also a most positive side of the Hotel. Overall 9 out of 10 to the Hotel. 👍👍

The hotel pool is pretty nice but i recall the opening hours are quite limited and you need to buy a swim cap to get into the pool. Overall, hotel is pretty nice and not much to fault.

- EmFLoge33 (10/5): Excellent reception and comfortable hotel at a reasonable price! - Before our arrival, the Hotel was prompt in responding to our requests and answering our questions. At Check-in, we were pleasantly surprised when Reception went one step further, giving us an Upgrade to a Suite! The Hotel met all our expectations, incl. the availability of a Shuttle Bus from and to the Border Crossing at Zhuhai. Location of the Hotel is central, though it may not be the best choice for guests wishing to walk to the main sights in Old Macau. All-in-all, this is an excellent Hotel for the reasonable price we paid.

Standard room size is acceptable, new renovation and light is good enough, not very dark or too shiny. Location is good go to pier by walk around 10-15 minutes. The room is quiet and the temperature is adjustable.
- SoniNavneetRai (8/5): Security deposit at Check In - We had booked 2 rooms for 1 night and at the time of check in, the reception staff asked us for credit card security of total MOP$ 4000 (2000 for each room) which they shall release 2 weeks later. Honestly, this sounded really bizarre . Hotel room and bathroom is spacious. Buffet breakfast was good but not lavish. Hotel has small Casino but the dealer speaks very little English. Wifi connectivity is not very good.

- Jopete1960 (8/5): Good well-priced hotel, friendly staff - We stayed one night in this hotel, chosen primarily for it's close proximity (easy walking distance) to the ferry terminal and competitive rates. We received a room upgrade. The room was very spacious although the separate sitting room was a little soul-less, with no windows. Great bathroom facilities. The breakfast, which was included, provided excellent choices. The hotel was a little distant to some of the sights we wanted to visit - we had to get taxi to and from Senado Square and surrounds. However, taxis are plentiful and affordable so this wasn't a big problem. The concierge was very friendly and helpful and checkin was quick and easy. There is an older style casino at this hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel as excellent value for money.

The breakfast was a well balanced spread, not too big but had abit of everything. Loved the pancake machine. Good location, next to the Macau ferry Terminal and walking distance to some sites.

- F2859YPalang (8/5): Nice room. Well maintained hotel. Friendly staff. - We stayed in a family room. It was large with a sitting area separate from the king size bed. Plenty of space. Breakfast was good enough. Hotel is well located for restaurants and there is a great circuit beside the sea for running a few metres away across the bridge.
- sanahsuvarna (10/5): Great stay - spacious rooms! - Loved the rooms - really big and spacious and the bathroom was great too with a tub! The room service was inexpensive too as compared to what restaurants were offering outside. Very nice spread of breakfast too. The staff are really helpful too - some are really fluent in English which is so helpful in a place like Macao where communication is a big issue. They only have hourly shuttle buses which means that from the ferry terminal you can get a bus only at 11, 12, 1, 2, etc. The buses leave the property at 10:50, 11:50, 12:50 and so on.. and don’t wait too long at the property and at the ferry terminal. So if you’re looking at getting this shuttle bus, pls make sure you’ve spoken to the people at the hotel the same day you’re arriving and checking on the bus timings.

- vasilieva2018 (8/5): Nice hotel close to ferry terminal - The hotel is OK, close to the Ferry terminal. The shuttle bus picks you up to Ferry terminal every 15 min. Use the City tour bus to see the most interesting places in Macao. Also, use hotel buses which picks you us from each big hotel to ferry terminal.
- WAI YING (10/5): A Pleasant Surprise! - Casa Real Hotel is really a surprise to us. Because the lobby is not stunningly grand but the interiors and facilities inside the rooms are really nice and clean. I admire their choices to cater customers, i.e. to give substential service and value to pamper them. After checked out, we went to enjoy their international buffet. The quality of the food is really impressive. Chinese soup is superb! The staff there are very friendly and cheerful. Certainly will recommend to my friends.

I paid MOP 80 to join hotel breakfast which is cheaper than walk in customers. Got smart phone for you to bring out to make free call and free internet. return it after your stay. Free shuttle bus to ferry terminal every 15 minutes. walking distance to Sands casino and fishermen wharf. Will come back here when next visit to Macau.

- LizE743 (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Recently stopped for 3 nights, check in was quick and easy with the English speaking reception. We were upgraded to a large room with a king size bed at no extra cost ( Room847).There is no bell boy so you take your own luggage to your room. Our room was very large with an office desk a table flat screen tv. Slippers dressing gowns lots of toilets items tea/ coffee making facilities and important to me , a hairdryer. The powers points are three prong English. The bed was comfortable however the pillows hard. The hotel is situated in the old part of Macau which is somewhat run down but clean. A 2 min walk to the shuttle buses and you can get free rides to all the casinos. The ferry terminal is a good 10-15 min walk. Not suitable for dragging suitcases as there are over passed to climb up and down. We actually caught the bus from Hong Kong to Macau across the new bridge and took s taxi from the passenger clearance area . Taxis and public transport is cheap and plentiful .if you plan on using the local buses you can buy a pass at the IGA. I have included a picture of the travel pass
- Hang (10/5): - The hotel porters are really helpful whenever we had request such as asking about how to get around certain area in Macau. We felt we were well looked after. Free shuttles were provided from and to the hotel from the outer harbour ferry. We used the bar in the lobby twice during our stay. The service was slower than we anticipated. For example, we expected the drink can be served as quickly as possible before the meal/snack were ready. It took 10-20 minutes for the bar attenders to serve the drink after the order. it is not just what I call the service.
- GS (8/5): Near macau ferry - At first, I was a bit worried because the staff could not find my reservation. So, the staff told me to wait 5 minutes and then they were able to confirm a room for me. Furthermore, it was a lovely hotel. The gym was small but the heated pool was great and perfect for cooling down from a workout.

Most of the staff doesn't speak English and even if some of them do speak, it is very poor. I have spent one night in there, I went to the casino as well and I have felt like I was in prison. There were armed men walking around the casino, dressed like policemen, watching all players. Not very fun.

- H101AEmaria (6/5): Casa real hotel Macau - Everything was good except for its smell. When my family entered our room, everyone smelled the moldy odor inside. Also, both tables in our room weren't clean. Those seemed like no one had actually wiped it. However, we were satisfied with its amenities, for instance, enough shampoos and body wash were provided and the larger room space made us able to put all our luggage on the floor.

Room was available for early check in at 11am but cleaning after the last guest was not thorough - dressing and side table top were sticky. Bathroom is very small.

Bell boys are knowledgable and gave good advice on transport modes to other attractions. Rooms are spacious and clean provided with all necessary toiletries. Wifi signal is strong. Easy to find good and reasonably priced food around the hotel.

Hotel provide a smartphone free for both local and international phone calls. Very handy. The only short coming is transportation. We have to take hotel shuttle to Macau Ferry and change to other hotels' buses. The hotel shuttle is 30 minutes interval. Actually it is only 10 minutes walk to Macau Ferry.

- alicetrip11 (8/5): Hotel with Extra Big Comfortable Rooms - The location of the hotel is not that great as it is not near the old town. The Sands, MGM, Wynn etc is on the opposite side and you will need to walk a distance over the overhead bridge to get there. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but our rooms are far from each other and it is so troublesome for us to walk to each other rooms. We tried asking if they could get us a closer room but they were not so helpful in that probably because the staff can't speak English so there a communication breakdown. You cant get much information from them. The rooms are clean, the sheets and towels are clean and white. The bed is huge and very comfortable. But we did not have good sleep as we could hear loud noises from the buses below which runs till midnight and again in the early morning hours Our room have a couch and a study table too. They provide the necessary toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities. A lot of china group tourists stay in this hotel as we could hear their loud voices along the corridor. We also see them at the lobby in the mornings. There not much within the vicinity except for a few medical halls, jewelry shops and a few coffeeshop-like restaurants around the hotels which look creepy and doggy. We ate at one of the restaurant and the food was so so only. There are many vacant and abundant buildings around the hotel which include a shopping mall just next to the hotel. But that does not bother us as we are out from morning and back at night. They provide shuttle services to the jetty and the border which were very convenient and useful.

- G5301DEjohnv (8/5): Established hotel in Macau - Booked this hotel from the read reviews. Didn't realise there are two ferry terminals in Macau...took ferry to wrong one! Was rescued by a local who kindly gave us money to get the bus to the hotel. The hotel is one of the older ones and not in the new area of Conti, we were upgraded and given a suite. Once we got to know our way around it's is easy to get to place to place. Just jump on a free hotel shuttle... recommend the old town.
- Chee Hui (10/5): Spacious and Comfortable Hotel - Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Location slightly out of the popular tourist attractions but easily access by short taxi rides. Front office staff, bell boys are friendly and helpful. Check in out were in a breeze without delay. Found some good local cafe serving good foods around the hotel.

- 888foodies (8/5): A little treasure while in Macau - We found this hotel with the true hospitality to extend their willing hands to make sure our first stay in the exciting Macau was smooth and less trouble. The facility in the hotel and room was more than adequate to our eyes and at the price we pay, we regarded it as the bargain to enjoy the place. The receptionists, guards and other staff were overall friendly and hospitable even though some of them did not comprehend English and that would be the basic but hard to find in the trip to China. We expect that to accommodate more real demands, the hotel considers offering shuttle services to Taipa ferry terminal.

- Swee Lin (8/5): Big, clean rooms - Big, clean rooms although doormen were quite indifferent. Hotel is very near outer ferry terminal, just a less than 10 mins walk.

They said they didn't but the money left my bank account, a refund was promised but has not come. Be careful with your security deposits with this hotel, you might not see your money again!
