- KHALID ABDUL QAYYUM (8/5): - There was a grocery next to the hotel building. The neighbourhood was very clean and away from crowd. My room was overlooking the towers of Sheikh Zayed Road and Burj Khalifa in the distance. There weren't restaurants in the neighbourhood. The stay was wonderful.

But rooms are not soundproof and some smoking and drinking people coming at this hotel to spend there time and bring too much headache for customers: sounds and all smell you can feel at your room day and night. Before never hotel where we stayed in Dubai was like this and also it was not allowed to coming at night for another people who don't stay at hotel. Here security don't mind. Today near room guys made party, like a 20 people came. They are drinking, smoking and make loud music and now 1.00am and security can't do anything. When we made complaints to reception they like don't hearing, also don't helpful at all. It's means anybody can come at this hotel and disturb long stay family customers. Can say good words only for housekeeping.
- khadija (2/5): - The place was horrible. It’s infested with cockroaches to a point I can’t even tell you. Don’t dare turning the lights off cause the cockroaches will chase you away. You definitely need to run away from this place. I didn’t take in consideration the reviews and booked it anyway but regretted it. The worst part is that it’s non reimbursable. The first room I was given on the second floor was unlivable because of the smell of moth balls then I was placed on the 4th Fl that was infested. The smell of curry on the hallway was unbelievable. I kept the room but stayed somewhere else. I highly suggest not staying at this place unless you want to sleep with cockroaches or take them home

Internet is reliable and apartment well equipped. Check was quick and easy, which was welcome at 3am. Supermarket below the hotel very handy.
- wolfaaron15 (6/5): Could Be Better - Booked for 3 nights at West Zone Plaza. The property is old and you can see it in the maintenance and up keep of the place. The check in was good, staff and service is good. The rooms are big and the location is excellent. Only down side of this property is the maintenance and up keep. You get to see a low maintained property with rooms having peel out wall paper, molded bathroom tiles and air vents, 60 plus channels on TV and not one of them are any in English except of course of news channels. The only good side to the stay was it's location, and service of the staff otherwise this place is overpriced and under maintained.

- kagi98 (2/5): The worse area ever - Of all the places I've ever been in my whole life, this is the worst! Dirty shabby rooms, Cockroaches run everywhere in general, not only in the bathroom, but also in the kitchen, next to the microwave, in the room. Cleaning of the rooms does not come at all even if wait until 21:00, So anyway, in the end, you have to call, they say yes, and anyway, they don't send anyone, you do it three times, with an interval of several hours, then you end up getting angry and go down to their reception, you swear with them they say that they will decide everything, in fact nothing happens anyway, and so I had several days, just think, for three days they did not bring me water, taking into account the fact that I constantly called, they did not update any accessories either, The dishes were not washed, the beds were not straightened, Towels were not changed and in general they were not even reported, I had to swear every day and go down to the reception, because nothing was decided through the call, even when I waited more than 3 days, there was still such a case when I was brought up to white heat so that they sp they decorate my room number, I tell them 218, they point-blankly prove to me that 218 does not exist, what they have in the hotel ends at 212! got there, and floats, because there is no normal filtration and purification system, while they have a cleaning day, when the pool is completely closed for the whole day, they do not open it in time, And I want to say a lot more, but there is no room for restrictions on symbols

We had some minor issues in the room, but those were sorted out immediately. The Filipina lady and the travel-desk in-charge were very helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Cheap policy and administration. The receptionists are liers. I asked for a change of room for better Wifi. But they said its fully booked. - kevinpN6433OD (2/5): Disgusting attitude if Filifina ladys in the reception - I love the facilities but our friends booked how many times in this hotel but one thing I saw and notice, Filifina Ladies in the reception are so arrogant on dealing with people especially guests compared to other nationalities. I am so upset with their attitudes. I wish they could leave the hotel when we came but we have booking. I speak to Indian guy Maahesh, He's very nice to us since we had our 1st booking in the hotel. I hope you could notice the attitude of staff you hired in the reception, they should have a good customer service. Sorry to say but we shifted now in other hotel. We cant deal with them anymore. If they dont like their Job better leave that to hurt people.

Mr. Mahesh s very helpful from reception team. I like the way he manage the booking. We rent the 3bedroom hall and its very convenient for us. That's why we planned to book this week. Thank you West zone plaza hotel apartment family. I surely suggest it to all my friends and we will come back time to time. 😊
- StarTravel2016 (4/5): Please not!!!! - The hotel is very old, the pictures on the page are very old, don´t trust them! The hotel is dirty, the carpet in the hallway wasn't cleaned since weeks, the breakfast is very poor, the curtains spotty, the armchair worn out, in the gym just some of appliances are working, the kitchen is incomplete stocked. The only one advantage of the hotel is: the metro station is only 15 minutes to walk.
- dhickm328288 (2/5): Shabby, basic and dishonest - I left very expensive headphones behind.Despite contacting them I never hear back. These headphones were brand-new. I expect more. The room was big but shabby, I did not expect more for the price, but I certainly expected honesty.
- cpalom670682 (8/5): Good - The staff were great. The room was good. The hotel's location is convenient. My best experience was with the gym and rooftop pool. The only thing missing was extra television channels and that the free wifi and highspeed wifi were slow.
- jfirfi288619 (8/5): Good and convenient - Excellent staff. Good location. Rooms very spacious and clean. Has everything you need in it. Maybe the kitchen needs a bit better cleaning and the decor needs a bit of an upgrade..curtains need a wash but overall pretty good
- skadri380337 (2/5): Poor Winchester Hotel - Not happy at all with the way staff treated us and spoke to us. Rude and not polite males that work at reception. How can you question visitors visiting us because we are staying at the hotel. Accuse them of staying at the hotel. Why didn't you come check during the times you thought anybody was sleeping there for yourself.
- kasif2017 (2/5): RUBBISH HOTEL WITH RUBBISH SERVICE - Never ever go to this rubbish hotel where they simply do not give a damn about anything and their staff are simply useless and incompetent who cannot do anything apart from wasting your time and money. I would highly recommend not to go to this CRAP hotel and spoil your holiday as nothing seems to work in this hotel starting from toilet to the internet and when you complain about the issue they will simply ignore this and do not bother fixing anything until you raise your voice and speak to the Manager. I would never come to this hotel and would recommend the same to others.

- stanleyJ4253DN (8/5): Nice Location - The room is good, with Good service men and women, you can access other popular hotels nearby where you can watch live sports, like City Max Hotel 3 buildings walk. The hotel can do more changing the towels to a new towels.
- LisaFife_Scotland (6/5): Don't judge a book by its cover - The picture on the site of this hotel does not do it justice, its a side view and the front is much nicer. My friend and I got to the hotel, one suite was ready early, the other suite would be ready by 2pm, fair enough, but they were 4 floors apart! Not ideal for two females. The apartments were very spacious and nicely furnished. None of us ever mastered the air conditioning. There was a rooftop pool that was nice enough, pool was quite cold and because there were no shelter from other buildings, its was always quite windy so you couldn't sit around for long. Nice sauna/steam room and gym area. However, the wifi did not work, a huge bad point. The television only had CNN news in English, there was one other channel that played the same movies on a loop, that was a bit of a disappointment. We ordered room service and it was very good, all aspects of it. The surrounding area was quiet enough and, like everywhere in Dubai, being developed. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to a few nearby places. The hotel was very clean and so friendly. I would visit this hotel again, but it has to be said, 'get your wifi updated and a better television package',
- GoonerPete (4/5): Very Rundown - Needs a Good Revamp - Booked this as needed 2 bedrooms near World Trade Centre for a conference and this looked reasonably priced (but still over £200 per night), for a 2 bedroom apartment. It's a 12 minute walk from metro (ADBC) so relatively convenient. However, there's nothing much nearby other than a supermarket - it's in a dead part of town. On the plus side (the only plus) the apartment was very spacious. BUT - it was VERY grubby - all furniture nastily soiled, stains on walls, all furniture needs a refresh. "White" towels were grey and looked very old. There were holes drilled in the walls but just left as holes, even around bath. There was a dirty tissue behind furniture on arrival indicating cleaning wasn't exactly tip top! Also we were only there 3 nights and at least one day there was no maid service, so unmade beds and no clean towels. Bedding was clean, and air con worked. If you are desperate then stay here as a last resort!
