• 698at (2/5): Every Party Showed Goodwill. Maison Milano Did Not. - My husband booked Maison Milano as part of a special trip to celebrate my birthday. Due to a medical accident that occurred during our stay in France, we were forced to cancel the remainder of our Italy itinerary, including our reservation here. We provided full medical documentation to the booking platform, Luxury Escapes. Every other party involved — the other hotel on our itinerary and Luxury Escapes itself — reviewed the same documentation and responded with understanding and goodwill. Maison Milano alone refused to consider the force majeure circumstances, despite two rounds of communication including a direct email appeal. What hurt most was not the financial outcome — we had only asked for a travel voucher, not a refund — but the complete absence of empathy. A special birthday is not a trip you rebook easily. A medical emergency is not a choice. Being told, in effect, that such requests are “too frequent” to merit individual consideration is a deeply disappointing way to treat guests who came to you in good faith. Hospitality, at its core, is about how you make people feel — especially in difficult moments. On that measure, this hotel fell far short. The location is undeniably excellent as per clients reviews. The humanity was not.

Обязательно еще приеду сюда - Мы приехали всего на 2 дня нас быстро разместили хотя мы просили отдельные кровати в наличии номеров не было и нам предложили переехать на следующий день. И нас на завтра пересилили в junior suit с двумя отдельными комнатами. Очень комфортно было. Расположение идеальное для Милана. По мне часть ремепшена маленькая и не дает общее впечатление о таком хорошем отеле.

• lauritstheisen (2/5): Stay Away - Dirty and neglected (Staff Tries) - My wife and I had a terrible experience at UNA Maison Milano and strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere (Maybe their sister properties?). Despite arriving late in the evening, at 9:00 PM, our room was not even remotely ready for a guest. Upon walking in, we were met with a shocking scene: • Zero Preparation: All the windows and doors were wide open to "air out" the room, which was freezing and clearly smelled. • Bizarre Housekeeping: There was a dirty towel crumpled on the floor being used to prop the door open. • Filthy Conditions: The carpets were stained like no other I’ve seen, and the entire space felt neglected and dirty. It is baffling that a hotel would attempt to check a guest into a room in this condition, especially so late at night. It felt like they were trying to hide a smell or a major maintenance issue rather than providing a clean environment. We refused to stay and were eventually moved to the UNA Hotel Cusani, which was a massive improvement. However, the stress of dealing with this at 10:00 PM at night truly created a big annoyance in a weekend trip. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this property until they undergo a serious management and cleaning overhaul. Everything you see on these negative reviews others put, is correct. To ensure it’s added - the staff tries to be friendly and make up for it, they were really nice, but also know the state of the property. There was no surprise to the complaints, more embarrassment.

• Nicole (10/5): Excellent hotel! - The location was perfect, right across from the cathedral and piazza. The room was spacious and set up in a cool configuration. The staff was so helpful- we had an excellent dinner (and tiramisu) based on the front desk’s recommendation! Everything was really great. It’s a city so the room was priced more than other hotels we stayed at in Italy. But it was worth it especially with the location. There’s no restaurant in the hotel, not that you need one because you walk out the door and there are tons.

• Christian (8/5): - Nos dieron una habitación en la primera planta con balcón mirando hacia la calle principal. La ubicación es inmejorable. Tiene un tamaño muy bueno, bien insonorizada con una ventana de doble cristal nueva, ya que la doble ventana anterior sigue ahí, pero tiene bastante holgura y no hace su función. Amplia zona donde dejar la ropa y para manejar las maletas. Baño amplio y con todos los servicios que se esperan. Las toallas las cambian a diario. Ketle y cafetera con infusiones y cafes disponibles incluídos. Encantados con la gente de recepción sobre todo con Carlos (disculpas si no recuerdo bien el nombre) que nos recomendó un restaurante en Brera estupendo donde tuvimos una cena muy especial con música en directo. Habitación un poco envejecida. Se siente la vibración del tranvía cuando pasa, pero eso es algo que me temo que se siente en todos los edificios de la zona. No tiene servicio de desayuno en sí mismo, pero tienes disponible, en una zona de descanso en el hall de entrada, cafes, infusiones y bollería incluído que sirve para un arranque inicial antes de salir a disfrutar de la ciudad.

• Karoline (7/5): Goed maar niet uitstekend - Uitstekend gelegen en zeer goede bedden Wij vroegen twins en ze beloofden de bedden te splitsen maar dat lukte pas de tweede nacht. Er was geen douchegel noch shampoo meer in de voorziene bussen en ook dat kwam pas in orde de derde nacht. Slechte douche

Room was large compared to other European downtown standards. Rooms we clean. Shower and bath. Room was very hot and temperate was very hard to control. And the WiFi did not work very well. Slow and hit and miss.

• Dorothea (7/5): A little disappointed - The hotel is nice, a little boutique style, not fancy but clean. Location is perfect The fact that they parked their dirty laundry in the corridor outside our room. It was the 2nd most expensive hotel we stayed in & they did not offer breakfast in the price. We spent 2 months on a drive holiday around Greece & Italy from the south to the north & all the others iffered breakfast & they were cheaper.

• AZPAUL (10/5): Great, small hotel - Wonderful small hotel located very close to Duomo and public transit. Clean room and fantastic bathroom. Polite, friendly, courteous staff. They helped make our visit to Milan pleasant. I did not experience any of the negative problems a few guests recent complained about. Perhaps the hotel is rehabbing rooms in hotel floor by floor. Our three day visit was perfect

• Caroline (10/5): Milan, just how I dreamed it would be - Central location, fantastic staff. As soon as we arrived we were treated to the best ‘cafe’ I’ve had. Whilst booking us in, the receptionist took time to find out about us, recommended places to eat and even booked a restaurant for us, excellent service. Nothing, it was fantastic.
