- Antigona (9/5): Overall, the hotel itself was good, but the location was terrible. - Overall, the hotel was good and clean. However, the bed sheets were not changed every day and the bathroom was not cleaned daily. The beds were comfortable, but the window in our room did not close completely and the room warmed up very slowly. The staff were kind and welcoming. However, there was an issue with the Bosphorus boat tour. We asked to do the tour without dinner, but they kept insisting that we should do it with dinner. In the end, it turned out to be a very bad experience because the dinner on the boat was terrible. The location was the worst part. Laleli is mostly a commercial area with clothing shops everywhere. Almost every step you take there are wholesale clothing stores, and there are very few restaurants or lounges. We mostly used taxis to get around (our choice), although the tram passes right on the hotel’s street. Still, most attractions were quite far. Even when walking, it usually took at least 20–30 minutes and still not to the main attractions of Istanbul.

- Nabila (5/5): Great location, but several drawbacks. - The Martinenz Hotel is well-located in Laleli, just a short walk from the Grand Bazaar and close to tram and metro stations, making it convenient for exploring Istanbul. hotel's cleanliness left much to be desired, with reports of inadequate room maintenance. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, often disconnecting, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the breakfast offerings were limited and could be improved to cater to a broader range of tastes. While the location is excellent, improvements in cleanliness, Wi-Fi stability, and breakfast variety would enhance the overall guest experience.

When I arrived at the hotel, they told me that I would have to pay an additional $100 for 3 days for a standard room, and the room they offered me was an economy room without windows. I've been staying here occasionally for over 15 years, but I've never experienced such rudeness.

- Jude (1/5): Too many steps to main entrance - N/A The hotel is not accessible for many due to the amount of very steep steps to the doorway. This isn't mentioned anywhere in any description- I would never have booked had I known. The room was dark with only a very small window. Quite oppressive in my opinion only. It is on the lower price bracket and it shows. Did not go for breakfast as the dining room is on the lower ground floor with no natural light. Probably ok for some people, definitely not for me.

- Khanim (1/5): Bad - Firstly, I mistakenly booked an additional room and immediately requested a refund upon realization. Initially, your staff assured me that they would assist, but later refused to help. Despite attempting to resolve this issue in person, I was ultimately denied a refund. This lack of consistency and support is deeply disappointing. Secondly, although the towels provided were clean, they were old and had holes in them. Additionally, the bed linen was stained. This is unacceptable for a hotel and significantly detracted from my stay. Thirdly, the hotel did not provide essential toiletries such as disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. This is a basic expectation in most hotels and its absence was quite inconvenient. Fourthly, the hotel provides only one bottle of water regardless of the length of stay. Additionally, the breakfast included in the stay was monotonous and unappetizing. This lack of variety and quality in food is not in line with the standard expected for the price paid. Lastly, on the final day of my stay, another guest entered my room using their key card 40 minutes before my checkout time. This breach of security is alarming and unacceptable. It indicates a severe lapse in the management of guest rooms and security protocols. I have stayed at numerous hotels and have never experienced such poor service. Considering the rate of $60-70 per day, I expected a much higher level of service and accommodation. I hope you will take these concerns seriously and address them promptly.

- Khashan (1/5): Awful and tiresome - The only good thing about the hotel is its location, it was within 10 minutes drive to all the landmarks and within 2 minutes walk to the metro station The stair, there was a lot of stairs until you get to the elevator, there were stain all over the sheets and they never changed them of the pillows, the shower door got stuck and they didn’t fix it, the lighting was bad (couldn’t apply make up properly), the room was very small, there was a shelf over the (broken sink) that prevented us from reaching the sink to wash our faces, we traveled to shop in istanbul so we always had bags but there was never a hotel employee waiting at the entrance for help, and when we checked out from the hotel the employee at the counter told me that he will only help me get the heavy bags to the car if i gave the hotel a 10 grade review in the booking application with is a service included in the hotel accommodations regardless of my hotel review.

- Asaad (1/5): Bad - Nothing!!!!!! The hotel start with first floor and there is not elevator or escalator from ground to first it is difficult if you have baby stroller. Also the street is under construction and the location is very noisy and crowded. Also those photos that shared in the booking.com is totaly different with reality.
- Syed (7/5): Good stay - Nice cosy rooms and good location and amazing staff. Rooms were a bit small. However, it is good considering the amount paid for the rooms. We had some problems within our room which we realised that it was a problem after we were moved to another room. It would be helpful if staff checked that everything was in working order prior to giving us the room. Nevertheless, our stay in general was a very positive one and will most likely book again.

- Abedalrahman (6/5): Read before you book. 7 days family leisure stay. - Breakfast is excellent Beds are comfortable Location ia good for tram and metro, but a little bit far away from marmaray station (9-11 min walk) Double room pictures are not as reality.. Pictures are for deluxe rooms. Double room is so small and tight. Long Stairs at entrance Staff do not smile We requested an extra pillow, additional room card.. All requests were rejected. Door handle and shower door require maintenance. Room lock can be opened by others... A Strange man opened the room by mistake. Rooms are a little bit noisy.. You can hear your neighbors easily.
- Colin (8/5): Very good value for money given the good standard of the hotel - Centrally located for where we wanted to be - Champions league fan park at Yenikapi. The breakfast choices weren't great but were acceptable. Could of course be personal preference

- OKANDZE (8/5): - Petit déjeuner pas riche, ménage un peu bâclé au second et 3ème jour du séjour, équipe du check out pas très courtoise (nous avons dû transporter les bagages seul au moment du départ, le concierge nous a clairement dit que nous étions 2 donc on pouvait prendre les bagages sans soucis 🙄🙄 alors qu'il y en avait 5...) Sinon dans l'ensemble l'hôtel est bien situé (magasins autour donc idéal pour les commerçants et touristes, sûr et pas très bruyant. C'est la deuxième fois que j'y séjourne.

- Graziella (2/5): - The staff were rude, they don’t speak English and they don’t try to understand and help you. The shower was not working we asked them to fix it each day but we left and they didn’t, also the don’t clean the rooms they just fix the bed everyday we stayed for 7 days they never changed the bed sheets.
