michelyn318 (10/5): Exceeds expectations - This property and our experience exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful, clean and manicured. Lovely path from MVC to Ritz. We saw lots of wildlife. The pool is great and lots of seating. We enjoyed Blossoms, the pool bar. Food, drinks and service were excellent. The activities staff, particularly Aaron and Andrew were very entertaining. The fitness center is well equipped and COOL which is important. Great locker rooms with sauna, steamroom, showers and lockers. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Cesar. We really didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back. I think this is my favorite MVC property.
PTM1962 (10/5): Very impressed with resort and the service here - Really impressed with this resort. It is really nice and the service is fantastic. We had a three bedroom townhouse and it was awesome. We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton here many times and this was our first visit to the lakeshore reserve. It’s great for families. The kitchen and washer/dryer came in handy. We will be back!

I didn't like the lack of coffee available on property at 6am or that the market was closed in the evenings when I got out of my conference and really wanted to buy water and a bag of chips. Good charging available on both sides of the bed was appreciated. Rooms looked newly renovated and size of bathroom was great. I didn't think the beds or pillows were comfortable.

We had the 3 bedroom townhouse that backed onto the golf course and it was so spacious and comfortable. We used the grills and loved the lazy river and activities! Highly recommend.

Nice restaurants at the JW and Ritz both located on the same property) make up for the lack of restaurants at this property. Most of the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The marketplace closes early, so if you need water or a snack, you better get it early. The rooms are pretty good, but the bathrooms could be updated. The property is clean which is a big plus. Overall, I expected a little more for the price I paid.

From Jess at the front desk checking us in, to Spencer taking care of our drinks - it was flawless! The lazy river was so nice to relax in and cool off. Both kids really enjoyed the water slides and their poolside smoothies! Thanks so much to the LR staff - we'll be back!

D7320SKmarkv (2/5): Terrible Management and customer service - Terrible management and customer service from management. My family stayed over this past year (2024) for Christmas at Disney and I (along with 3 other families) woke up on Christmas eve to find my vehicle had been broken into and robbed. The security team is subpar, and there is no night guard watching the lot 24/7 like other Marriot properties in the area. The manager not only would not pay for any damages or lost items but did not assist in any way whatsoever. She even had the gall to tell me she should not be on the phone with me on Christmas eve. So I had to go spend my entire day cleaning broken glass and trying to find a glass repair company before the long drive home. There is a road nearby that makes this property a prime target and the area has apparently gone downhill. Marriot has no liability and assumes no responsibility on their property. I will never stay the lakeshore reserve again.
LeighM760 (4/5): Disappointed Girls Weekend - I was so excited to try Marriott Lakeside! We usually stay at the JW Marriott next door but wanted to stay in a larger place. I was disappointed that I was not given any on my Marriott member perks at any time during our visit. We were not allowed to check in until 4:00. We had lunch on property, it was just awful and terribly expensive. We tried to eat at the JW but they charge $50 for a day pass to even eat a the restaurant even though we are staying on property! Finally getting into our room, it smelled like the guests before us had cooked fish and curry. The smell was HORRIBLE! It was too late to change rooms due to the very late check in and we had plans for the evening. The beds and pillows are rocks hard and the decor is dated. I woke up with a terrible head ache from not getting any sleep. I asked for a later check out, another Marriott Member perk, but was denied that as well. Housekeeping began knocking at the door at 9:50. I am furious that I wasted my time, money and most of all, my points to stay here a total of 17 hours. Move on, try another place!

B3743UJbrentc (2/5): Safety concern - vehicle broken into - CAUTION!!! Please read!! VEHICLE was broken into while staying at Marriott’s Lakeshore reserve. We had a vehicle broken into (1 of 4) while staying at this Marriott property. We could not drive our vehicle for 3 days, which changed our whole vacation - and not for the better. Local Marriott management would not do anything for us or for our trouble. Marriott is a large global company that has the resources to make things right. They missed the opportunity to do so. As a vacation club property “owner” it is very disappointing that Marriott would not take care of its owners. I would NOT recommend staying at this property and would recommend you think twice about buying into the Marriott Vacation Club. They do NOT take care of their owners/customers.

FSUgirlGreenville (10/5): Wonderful place to relax and unwind - We had a wonderful stay. Love the renovated rooms at this property. Very light, bright and airy. Plenty of charging areas and outlets. The staff here is very accommodating and always willing to help. Henry at the front desk, the ladies at The Marketplace and the guys at the bar were all very friendly and helpful. We had a particularly excellent experience with Edwin from maintenance/engineering. He truly went above and beyond helping us. The Lazy River is wonderful. The water temperature was perfect…almost felt like it was slightly heated. Be prepared to purchase a floatie if you don’t already have one. They sell them in the Marketplace for about $25 and will blow them up for free with their electric inflator. The food was very good. We especially loved the breakfast sandwiches at The Marketplace and the Bowls at Blossoms. We wish they offered a wider variety of beers at both places. Sounds like that is out of the hands of the bartenders and more the responsibility of whoever does the purchasing. Only other suggestions we can make are to have music playing by the pool all the time and to ensure that the outdoor path lighting on the path around the lake is in working order. It was very dark at night going to and from the pool so we had to use a flashlight. Cannot wait to hopefully return next year.
Bighouse0820 (10/5): Relaxing Resort - We stayed here for a week in a one bedroom villa and it was very relaxing. This was our first visit here, since we normally stay at the Grande Vista, and it is definitely more relaxed than the Vista. I would have to say that the lazy river and pool area definitely is the biggest draw to this resort. It is smaller than most resorts we stay in and that is actually a good thing to us, since we like more peace and quiet. The one bedroom villa has everything you need while on vacation and ours was very spacious. It could easily accommodate a family of four and the balcony is pretty spacious also. The balcony is not covered and the mosquitos were pretty bad at times, so keep that in mind. The grounds and staff here are very nice and shout out to Jess and Spencer, very professional and polite. There is a short walking path to the JW and Ritz and the resort is beautiful when lit up at night. We highly recommend this place for a nice and relaxing vacation and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Safe travels
MOISES (8/5): - Nice property for family with amenities geared towards the family and a good pool area. Happy that the pool and hot tubs schedule is extended into the night. Visitors have to pay to visit surrounding properties with additional amenities. The bathroom, water pressure and hot water were not working properly.

IanT2677 (10/5): Lakeshore Reserve Stay - This is our 2nd visit this year and our 5th time overall. I feel the need to express what a wonderful time we have had again. The lovey guy who had our cases taken to our room as we had checked in early. The beautiful clean smelling reception that you walk into. The gorgeous manicured gardens. The room was immaculate, this time we went with a larger room. Stunning and great job by the lovely cleaners. And finally the pool area as always is an oasis that takes away any stress and tension from your every day life. Big shout out to Spencer / great friendly barman. So a big thank you to all the staff . Hopefully back next May

abac315 (10/5): Great Stay - This was my first time staying at the Lakeshore Reserve, and it was beautiful. Everyone that worked at the resort was so kind. The front desk agent was very welcoming and professional. The housekeeping staff was always friendly and smiling. I loved the pool, and it stayed open until late. Plenty of lounge chairs and towels were available for use. I will be staying again soon right before my cruise. This is my new hotel when I go to Orlando.
480ashleyi (10/5): Relaxing week with tons of pool time! - My husband, daughter and I just spent a week at Lakeshore Reserve and had a wonderfully relaxing experience. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area was so nice. There are ample seating areas scattered throughout the pool and lawn and we were able to find seats no matter what time we came to the pool. The waterslides were a big hit with all of us and our seven year old loved them. Part of the pool had a lazy river area with fountains that was so beautiful. There were also lots of outdoor activities like a pool table, ping pong, foosball, cornhole and giant connect four. The food at the restaurant was very good and the bartenders were super responsive. The family activities were fun and the kids room had a Switch and lots of puzzles and board games. We were able to watch the fireworks at the JW Marriott from the pool area. The resort is in a great location about 20 minutes from the airport. My daughter is already asking when we can go back!
TravelingB0B (10/5): The Best of the Marriott Resorts in Orlando - This is really the best of the Marriott resorts in the Orlando area. The rooms/suites offer everything you need, and then some! The lazy river pool is an attraction not to be missed! The pool has an excellent outside bar with great service. Can't say enough about the Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve. Definitely want to go back!
TravelKidsToo (6/5): Expectations can spoil things. - We have been to this resort at least 9 times. 7 times this resort was amazing so we had high expectations for our 7 day stay. Five stars for the Blossoms bar - the staff was fantastic - friendly, helpful and fast. If you aren’t up for going out, the Blossoms menu is adaptable for GF sensitivities and food is very good. Pool Music was not relaxing it was loud fast paced dance music ALL day - However, when we mentioned it, it was toned down and some and the selections changed. The pool was filthy - many, many leaves in the water ...all week. The waterfall was often off and the water level was below the intake vents so there was no way the water could be filtered. A family we were chatting with said they called. We called about it ourselves the next day. Three days in and the water level was still too low to filter water. Friday the same. Then we called to ask if water was tested and were told 1X/day; miraculously that night, the water level rose enough to be filtered. Could the ridiculously high points vacation club owners pay for end of week stays be a factor in the improvement at the end of the week? Unsure Groups of employees do not speak English. When approached, they sometimes ignore there is a customer there and continue speaking to each other in their language, laughing etc.. then abruptly stop, turn and look at the customer. This is not isolated and not personal. Some grounds workers are not considerate; a few guests hope to sleep past 8am on the weekend. Loud talking, podcasts, radio etc wake up the people they are serving. Bathroom vanities are still the right height for people 6' or taller. Our room was updated but after a decade the walls are still void of mirrors, hooks or shelves.

307trayw (10/5): One of the best Marriott's I've ever stayed in - Platinum elite - This is best of the best Marriott has to offer. I really didn't expect a whole lot, this was an over night stay. Henry and Olivia checked me in. I made a couple request and it wasn't a problem at all. The grounds are immaculate, probably one of the nicest places regarding landscape I've ever been too. It's kin to a garden paradise, and everything is trimmed and perfect. The pool area is vast and there's a water slide that's even fun for me, an adult kid, lol. The bar/restaurant couldn't have been better. The staff, Spencer and Christian were over the top accommodating and the food is outstanding. I can not give this hotel enough praise. This place should be the Marriott standard. Well done, bravo. Will be back

lenoraw2024 (10/5): Wonderful Service - My husband and I spent 17 days at Lakeshore Reserve during 2 stays in 2023. We had a wonderful time and the service was outstanding. From the time we checked in until we left everyone went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and always greeted us with a warm smile. The staff at the pool bar really go out of their way to get you exactly what you want and are super helpful with suggestions to enhance your experience. Francesca, Christian, Nikon and Spenser are so friendly and truly go the extra mile to take great care of you. A great big thank you!! I wish I could remember everyone’s name who helped make our vacation so special. The woman at the desk who checked us in walked us to our room to make sure we could find it and were happy with it. The exceptional woman who looks after the pool security makes sure things stay peaceful while still allowing people to enjoy themselves. Footballs can really hurt and she doesn’t allow them or any other dangerous objects being thrown around, thank you. We look forward to returning soon. The location is also very convenient offering many dining options at the JW Marriott and The Ritz.

Tourist629902 (10/5): Stunning Marriott Property - Although this is our first time visiting this property, we are no strangers to Marriott's properties. Whenever possible, we choose to stay with Marriott if possible. This property is gorgeous and very tranquil. If you want the hustle and bustle of Grand Vista, do not stay here. It is very serene and laid back, but you can be as busy as you wish. This property is as beautiful inside as it is outside. My one complaint is that some of the decor and the awkward layout of the villas could have utilized the space more efficiently. Still, I recommend you to visit this beautiful, beautiful resort. The staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I am already planning my next visit.

Lorraine (8/5): Nice family vacation spot - Our stay was good. I think some of the front desk staff could be more personable. The gentleman who checked us in had a rather flat affect. Not the warm and friendly welcome that the family next to us was receiving from the other male staff member. The staff in the marketplace and at Blossoms all of our days there was excellent. Super friendly, polite and playful with my children. The lifeguards at the slides need to stay off their phones. They are quite comfortable having full blown conversations with their friends, even on FaceTime. The family events like trivia and bingo, are so awesome to have. The lazy river and the grounds are very clean and kudos to the staff that maintains these grounds. We had an incident at Blossoms are last night. We had 3 to go orders and when we got back to our room, we noticed all 3 orders were wrong. I addressed the issue in the morning with a front desk staff member who sent me to concierge desk and Miss Amber at concierge was surprised I was sent there but she quickly went to get a supervisor/manager. His name was Jeff and quickly apologized for the meal issues and provided refund on my account. I think the new young staff need to be reminded that if they don't know the answer, to get a manager instead of erroneously send someone to concierge to simply not have to deal with the problem. Overall, still a nice stay and we will be back.

Greg (6/5): Ok, not as good as it used to be - Reduced amenities from years past, JW Marriot pool restrictions only available to Lakeview guests Mon -Thurs. Was closed without prior notice of stay. We would have stay somewhere else. Rules not enforced as far as guest staying needed pool bracelets worn, guest from other hotels used pool freely. Could not split my bill and imposed security deposit onto my rewards card at desk checkin. Not the best stay here this time. We will be exploring other options for our next visit. There are many other Marriot villas in Orlando

Verified traveler (10/5): - Thanks for calling me when my room was ready before check-in time. Check-in was fast and easy—no line. Two-story condo was very clean and well prepped upon arrival. Property was not noisy and could not hear neighbors at night. Property had a good sense of privacy as you needed a keycard to access all amenities. Grounds were well maintained and had all necessary amenities to feel like a resort. Was not overcrowded.

The room was beautiful, the grounds were meticulously maintained, and the hotel is in a very convenient location to Sea World and the convention center. Verified traveler (8/5): - This property is beautiful and I felt like I could have been in the Caribbean. The units are large and well stocked and outfitted with beautiful and big balconies. It really was a pleasant place to stay to get a break from Disney. The one thing I didn’t like was that there were so many reserved pool chairs. I would get to the pool at 7 to sit and I would watch people reserving spots for hours. Yet I left my chair for three minutes to ask the front desk a question and security was going through my bag when I returned. They said they thought my stuff was left there over night. Strange. Maybe they should focus on the people that aren’t there and saving spots, therefore screwing the rest of their customers. Anyway, if you’re going to be overzealous, fix the real pool chair issue.
Verified traveler (8/5): - I loved the lazy river pool, we were there at night with no one else around. It was 57 ° out and we were with my 3 year old daughter. We didnt even notice how cold it was until we got out of the pool...it was so nice. But when we first arrived as soon as i checked in I used the restroom in our room. When I flushed the toilet I had a sharp pain then realized the silver paint around the push-to-flush button on the top of the toilet was peeling off and really sharp around the edges and i got a piece of it stuck in my finger. It was stuck like a thorn and bled a little bit but i was so disgusted that the hotel couldnt have replaced that one piece...i got toilet bacteria from the flusher in my bloodstream. A piece that would have cost maybe $5 to replace. They gave my daughter a goody bag and they sent an emt to check it out they ended up replacing the flusher but the emt couldn't even take the piece put of my finger because the skin had to be cut open. We got an apology of course and the lady was really nice...but this could have been avpided with closer attention to the hotel rooms which makes me worried especially with covid. Are the rooms being properly cleaned and taken care of. I just hope i dont have some kind of disease from someone else

You get access to your own pool but can visit all of the great restaurants and amenities at the larger resort as well. The staff were all very friendly. Great pizza from the restaurant. Golf carts between resorts whenever you need them. Secure building. Free parking. Only 10 minutes from Disney and Universal Studios. I could go on and on. This was such a great value for a true 5-star experience.

Breanna (10/5): Wonderful amenities and grounds - The grounds were beautiful! The feel was very low-key which was exactly what we wanted. The amenities were the stand out of the property though! The locker rooms with steam rooms and saunas and the pool were amazing. The JW Marriot’s pool next door was wonderful (which you can access while staying at Lakeshore Reserve). Bed was comfy and the patio was very nice!
