Unsafe , poor management, AVOID - Absolutely Disgraceful and Dangerous – The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! No words can fully capture the anger, disappointment, and sheer horror I felt during my stay at this hotel. This is not just a bad hotel — it is an unsafe, inhumane, and potentially life-threatening place. I strongly urge every traveler, especially families, to stay far away. The nightmare began when hotel management emailed me demanding I be moved from my room on the 18th floor to another floor, claiming business was slow. I clearly explained that I could not move for medical reasons. Two days later, the Operations Manager Danis sent an official email confirming it was fine — they had new guests and I could stay. Then, just two days after that, he reversed it again, insisting I had to move because they wanted to save money by closing the entire floor. I refused the unreasonable relocation. In retaliation, management instructed the hotel engineers to switch off my air conditioning. The engineers themselves confirmed this to me directly. They then sent me an email threatening to stop all housekeeping, refuse to clean my room, and not even remove the garbage. They followed through on every threat. The AC remained off, no cleaning was done for days, and garbage piled up until it created a foul smell and attracted insects. My room became filthy, unbearable, and hazardous to my health. Even worse, every member of the hotel staff privately told me that management is pressuring me to move from my room “even if you die — they don’t care about you.” This was not an isolated opinion; multiple staff members expressed their own unhappiness and encouraged me to take legal action, saying the management treats employees just as poorly. The situation escalated horrifically three days ago. While I was at the office, they called and demanded I return to the hotel immediately. There, under camera surveillance, the management — particularly Danis and Ahmed Faraz — pressured and threatened me so aggressively that I lost consciousness and collapsed into a coma-like state. Shockingly, they did not call an ambulance until I regained consciousness and begged them to do so. When paramedics arrived, they discovered my oxygen levels were critically low, my heart was nearly failing, and I was on the verge of death. Even after this terrifying medical emergency, the threats continued. I have now engaged a lawyer, and the case is proceeding in court. In the past, I suffered food poisoning here and they begged me not to report it to the authorities. I have also repeatedly found insects in the room, and staff urged me not to post about it. Today, I am still sitting in a room with no air conditioning, in filthy conditions that are severely worsening my health and skin. When I complained, they simply repeated: “Move to another floor first so we can save money — you’re the only guest on the 18th floor.” This is not hospitality. This is extortion, neglect, and endangerment of a guest’s life for the sake of cutting costs. There is zero humanity, zero responsibility, and zero accountability here. Warning to all travelers: Do not choose this hotel under any circumstances. Your safety, health, and well-being are at real risk. I trusted them with my life and nearly lost it. Our stay was genuinely excellent and exceeded expectations in several areas. Breakfast The breakfast isn’t a huge buffet, but it’s very high quality and thoughtfully put together. Fresh pastries, fruit, and a well-selected range of options are more than enough. The chia pudding in particular was outstanding. You can also order à la carte, with different egg variations from omelettes to poached eggs. Avocado toast and French toast are freshly prepared, and coffee specialties like espresso and cappuccino are available alongside warm dishes. It’s the perfect balance between quality and variety. Service in the restaurant is attentive, fast, and very friendly. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is lively, with slightly louder music, which fits the lifestyle vibe of the hotel and Dubai in general. Room & Location We were very satisfied with the room. Modern, clean, and comfortable. The location is a major advantage. Getting a taxi via app is quick and easy, and you’re perfectly positioned between Downtown, Dubai Marina, and the Palm. There’s a direct highway connection nearby, but without disruptive traffic. Taxis in Dubai are also very affordable, which makes getting around from this location even more convenient. Since we used taxis for everything, this was ideal. There’s also a small supermarket within walking distance, perfect for stocking up on water, plus two nearby restaurants. Special Thanks to Rawan What truly made this stay special was Rawan. She always had a genuine smile, was incredibly warm, and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. She took time for us, shared valuable tips, checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and was always there whenever we needed anything. Because of her, the hotel felt personal. Not just a place to stay, but a place you connect with. Postscript After our departure, I realized that I had forgotten a very valuable personal item at the hotel. I contacted the team and received an exceptionally fast response. The item was immediately secured and arranged for international shipping back to me. I would like to personally highlight Mirra’s outstanding help and commitment. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to assist turned a stressful situation into a very reassuring experience. Clear recommendation.

- B2924DEjosec (2/5): ALERT - DATA BREACH - One Media Hotel - ALERT I booked Media One Hotel via Vio.com in November 25. Three hours after the booking, I started receiving whatsapp messages from different senders asking me to confirm the booking and for paying. I sent a message to the hotel and email to Vio.com asking about the suspicious whatsapp messages and both of them said to me that the data breach did not start with them. The Media One Hotel and Vio.com confimed to me that their system does not send whataspp messages to any client. I canceled the booking with Vio.com but messages continue to come to me. It means that Media One Hotel and Vio.com washed their hands about the data breach and nobody is responsible for anything. However I continue to receive scams through whatsapp for me to confirm booking and pay. If you need any documentation, contact me that I sent you all the emails exchanged with the hotels and authorities about the case

- Medicine_Man2004 (6/5): Pool area does not get sun for the majority of the day. - Fair stay with one significant drawback - the pool area gets very little sun and is mostly shady. The hotel is nice overall and makes a good first impression with an impressive lobby. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the gym was well-equipped and pleasantly quiet during my visits. There’s also a nice bar area showing sports, which was a good place to relax in the evening. The main issue for me was the pool area. Although it’s attractively designed and well laid out, it receives very little direct sun. When I asked at reception — while another guest was raising the same concern — I was told there are only small pockets of the day when the sun reaches certain spots. Unfortunately, every time I went it was fully shaded and often windy. If your priority is spending time by a sunny pool, this may not be the best choice. Otherwise, the hotel itself is comfortable and well maintained. This was a shame for us as my wife enjoys time in the sun. The alternative of paying for access to another hotel or resort’s facilities with sun, away from the hotel is far from ideal.
- madagnik (2/5): Unacceptable - The valet service is the worst that I have ever experienced. Not for the first time they just seemed to lose my car. I missed a work meeting - and it cost me more than my whole stay at the hotel. Another guy that tried to get his car like 10 minutes after me got his car at least 10 minutes before me, and I was pretty much the only person there! Any other views I have on the hotel are totally dwarfed by the valet here. I usually come to Garden on 8 too, but I'm not sure I would even risk that any more. As I say, this is not the first time. It is no exaggeration to say I almost died after, as I was in such a rush I almost had a very bad accident.

Mina from reception was amazing we really loved her All the amenities are great, well equipped and super clean such as the gym, the sauna, the pool, the restaurants, the rooms. The restaurants (both ciao Bella and qwerty) are absolutely delicious. Its location is amazing, close to the main spots and attractions, Dubai marina, jbr beach, palm Jumeira etc. Even the views from the room were amazing, we stayed for 6 days and I left wanting more :) Overall it was a perfect experience and I really recommend, I will come back every time now. Thank you to all the staff, we really loved every second of it ☺️

Mina kept checking on us and politely and professionally looking after us my wife is pregnant and she made sure of her safety and wellbeing all the time .
