- Bostan (8/5): There are a few things to improve to make it from a score of 8 to 10. - Like the beds, other facilities, bathroom, and good breakfast in the morning.the swimming pool was ok but could do more with it. I didn't like the balcony, spa, not good tv and clear good channels and gym need more work.
- David (7/5): it was within budget. They had a pool. He had a couple of food options and a great bed was fine for a night or two and i - Room was huge, nice pool and great little food vendor out the front. it’s a bit far away from a lot of the key Bangkok attractions. it’s an elder building with some down fittings, overall oik
- David (3/5): big comfy room, cool food and bars ant 10’min walk - Large room and 711 next door its called a resort - it ain’t that.
- Jorge (6/5): Nice large suite. - Clean, big suite as booked. Location was ideal for me because I had business nearby.
The staff were very attentive, the room has cooking and coffee making facilities but no cutlery and they provided some from the restaurant. The buffet breakfast, the scrambled eggs were cold, the bread did not taste fresh and there were no pastries. Very large groups were booked over the period I stayed in, unfortunately some group members were touching the food with their hands.
- Dennis (10/5): Very comfortable. - Good facilities. Friendly staff particularly Nay who went out of his way to help. Excellant employee. Had a bad experience with a massage organised by the hotel on the hotel premises. Lady tried to steal my money. She didn't succeed.
- Narendra (10/5): -
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional - Just perfect 👌 Everything I replied to in questionnaire
- Aung (8/5): Very good -
- Rocío (9/5): Superb - Clean and sleeping in the 12th floor was nice and calm Quite far from the public transport to reach the center.
- Barrie (5/5): Not good, - The price at the time. The shower was cold after about 30 seconds, we informed receptionist but it wasn’t sorted out and we didn’t receive any feedback. The towels were not cleaned we think , all the time. My girlfriend noticed this, speaking of my girlfriend, we were out at a party and returned on Christmas Day morning at 04.00 and the receptionist was questioning me on my girlfriend as if I brought a prostitute back , which we were not happy about. We went for a swim and the pool area was not clean and full of pigeon droppings around the edges of the pool and a dead pigeon in the gully, the water looked dirty compared to other hotels we stayed in, I felt more dirty coming out of the pool than entering it,this is not acceptable . The reason I chose this hotel because it had a pool.
The fried eggs were cold at breakfast time too.
- Kolonne (5/5): Acceptable for the price paid - staff, room facilities are acceptable considering the room price Restaurant is so smelly, breakfast
- socheath934 (2/5): Terrible and unfriendly staff - Terrible and unfriendly Receptionist Checked in.we were there about 11pm to proceed the check in,Staff at front desk was rude and unfriendly to me and my family,he not respected.we wish not to stay at all,we wish everyone do not stay this hotel.
- Lisa (7/5): 10 day stay - The hotel was basic and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor, 14, and was quieter that I expected. The rooms were a good size and air conditioning worked well. Having a 7 eleven downstairs was very useful and there was Din Daeng market 10 minutes walk away. The kitchenette was not equipped with anything to cook with and one of the stove elements did not work. When I complained about this I eventually got the keys to another nearby room and cooking equipment provided.
The lounge/kitchen area was in the middle of the suite and had no natural light. The balcony from one of the bedrooms had no furniture to sit on. The neighbourhood wasn't very nice but I did feel safe walking around. There wasn't much to do in the area. Not close to subway or skytrain unfortunately. The restaurant wasn't open apart from breakfast but there was tasty food for slae outside that you could take back to your room.
- Daisy (8/5): Very good -
- Mary (6/5): Pleasant - Nice and spacious Staff
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good hotel for stay, best location in the city.
I recommend
everybody. - All facilities were great .staff dealing also well. 7/ 11 supermarket close to the hotel. Brake fast excellent. But there is no private locker facility in the room. That is not comfortable for customers.
- Nick (10/5): Excellent - Excellent Nothing
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Arnaud (1/5): Bad - How it is possible to find a cockroach in my bed?
When I say that to the reception, they laught..
So if you want to sleep with cockroach, you can go to this hotel
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hamza (5/5): Passable -
- Myles (6/5): - This property is really old and hallways and doors super noisy. Even electric outlets are inconvenient in the room to be fair it’s lower priced in hi season . Offers breakfast but I did not enjoy the morning offering
- Mudassar (4/5): Property should be rated 2 stars as it needs full renovation and up gradation - Staff was excellent specially
MR Nay Myo and Ms Nway Mar At the reception were excellent and very helpful Property needs full refurbishment
It should be 2 star
- Rachel (6/5): Would chose a hotel nearer downtown. What we saved in price we spent in taxis - Roomy quiet apartment Pool not open for 4 days
Required a taxi every time to go to bkk due to location
- Sam (8/5): - For the price it was great.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was a decent room, it had what it needed. But the bed was super hard and you could feel the springs in the mattress. Furthermore, there was mold in the bathroom ceiling and the pool did not seem clean.
The position geographically was fine, but one needs to get a taxa 15-20 min into downtown Bangkok
- Anonymous (10/5): Excellent - Excellent Excellent
- Sherab (8/5): - Staffs were very nice. The boy from laos was friendly and helpful 😊
- Kobchai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (10/5): - Very happy with the service

- Namassanan (5/5): Passable -
- Jay (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything
- Paula (7/5): Good - Extremely nice staff, pool, help with traveling safely and finding guides The breakfast was not so interesting. Unfortunately, there was a roach in the room. The AC was extremely loud.
- Karma (9/5): Superb - Everything was great; nice and friendly front desk staffs, very helpful room cleaning staffs but the location wasn't that good. Metro service is far and you have to wait to get a cab. No restaurants around. But there is a 7eleven in the same building which was great.
- Yanen (9/5): Superb - 7-11 is beside the hotel, some food nearby is amazing cheap and good. cleanliness is really good. the location is not quite far from the center.
- Pereira (10/5): Exceptional -
- 833ronnies (2/5): Bad location old run down hotel - Give this hotel a miss, the place has furniture from the 1980s old blankets no free WiFi
I had to stay at this hotel as everything was full New Year’s Eve.
Old tv no English news channels overall a 1 star slum.poor location even finding a taxi took 35 minutes as the road out front has little passing traffic poor breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good for this price point - There were many good things about this hotel: The staff was quick to help and very friendly. Numerous staff had difficulty communicating fluently in English (they know Chinese--it appears that they get busloads of tourists from China every day)....but the staff appeared to want to help despite language barriers. There was a breakfast buffet that had good coffee, yummy fresh fruit (try the jack fruit if you never have had it), and a range of other choices that were more focused on people who are used to Asian breakfasts. The breakfast buffet quality wavered over the 5 days that I was there--each day was the same menu, but some days had better fruit selection and things that appeared fresher. The hotel was right next to 7-11 convenience store, which had lots of well-priced drinks.
There were two drawbacks: a bed that was very hard to me (they tried to soften it with two blankets, but that did not do much for me), and the hotel was far from the subway or the skytrain. However, there was a free hotel shuttle at 10:30 am each morning (and another one around 12:30). Sometimes getting back home was tricky because some taxi drivers did not know where it was. Taxi rides are cheap--but make sure 1) you tell them to use the meter and 2) make sure you have a business card from the hotel that has the address in Thai (some drivers cannot read the English address). Before I learned these tips, I had a Tuk tuk driver that took me to the 'Princess hotel' instead of the Princeton hotel.
- Maria (6/5): Not too good - Well, the room that they gave us is big but the downturn is the closet are so dusty and there are small cockroaches everywhere. And the receptionists they cannot even speak English. We’re having a hard time understanding them.
- tuananhhoang (8/5): Good hotel for a reasonable rate - Stayed there 2 nights in an inspection trip to Bkk, the hotel was arranged by my Travel Agent. Dispite of a litle bit old fashion facilities, the hotel is clean, good rooms, breakfast was ok. The is an outdoor pool but i did not have time to try other service. Staff was pleasant and helfull.
- natali2012 (8/5): GOOD! - Good enough for several days staying for such money. Inspite of need rennovation was clean& comfortable. Good breakfast, good&equipped bath with all working, good bed. What's neseccary for traveller more? To all main destinations nearly 100-150 on taxi. Nearby 7/11 and street food. Very good and friendful staff, especially on reception and in hall: smiling and always ready to help. English of staff good. Staff is the main advantage of hotel! Thanks to all. The main disadvantage: noisy&need to clean condition!
- WozzOz (6/5): Second time, same place - Five days here. Pool good, food acceptable but not flash, no complementary Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi reception poor in places. Shower water can smell like swamp water. Security staff out the front always helpful and friendly and will arrange taxis quite well.
Second time here. Door to balcony sealed off this time -- good for drying clothes, and photography. Working class area of apartments, but quite safe. Laundry machines next door and around the corner.
Hot water fluctuates from warm to scalding and occasionally cool.
Beds are very very firm. No room clock (not an issue).
TV news channels but no BBC or CNN – if you need those.
7-Eleven at ground level – which has hot food for cooking up… And 6 L of water very very inexpensive.
Lifts can be slow, but patience is good, and always check out the pool and the city view.
Nothing in area really (apartments for workers), but if have business in the area, the place is old but decent enough.
Not enough power plugs. Can only charge equipment when in the room (removing room key shuts off all power).
- mamallmighty (8/5): ABC Training - The location is in a quiet neighbourhood near the Department of Labour and well equipped for Seminars and Group Programs.
We were very well received and had an Interesting Breakfast Buffet including Western and Asian Dishes to choose from.
Lunch was Thai and International Dishes with pleasant service for Water and Soft Drinks as we did not need Alcohol during the Training.
During the day the Coffee Shop provides a la carte until 9 pm.
The rooms are clean and simple and the beds are very comfortable !
Room cleaning was very efficient and quite fast - we had emphasis on not changing the sheets during our 2-day stay.
- thomasyet (2/5): Bed & breakfast hotel no frills - Stayed 3 nights. Old decor and worn out room furniture and cathode ray box tv without cable TV. Room WiFi is payable. Although there's one 7-11 store just outside the hotel, there's practically nothing else. You have to to take cab 10-15mins to reach nearest BTS Victory Monument Station for shopping and food.
Hotel caters to tourist groups. Room sound proofing is very bad and you can hear people talking and closing door. Especially inconsiderate tourists who talked very loud who sure will disturb your sleep.
If you are looking for cheap hotel and need a place to sleep and put up with noises, this is the place for you.
- AgnesM1274 (4/5): 2D1N - Service counter not really friendly. The room too dark and toilet look like 80"but still acceptable. From hotel to Pratunam tuk tuk price around 150-180baht. Nice breakfast. Didn't take the plug and rent from Receptionists but then service are bad. 7-11 just on the left 1min of the hotel
- Odyssey371543 (2/5): Terrible service from bellman, Nice room - I was checked in last night with a group of elderly women. Our room were separated to several floors. One of bellman took our luggage together and put into the trolley.
He was informed by my mom that we will go to the room by starting from floor 8 first. Unfortunately, my group started at floor 6. They were together sent one by one of their group to the room.
I understand how tired the bellman was, as he went to find us at floor 8 and he had to came back to floor6.
We met him with unpleasant face at floor 6.
We really felt guilty to him but the word that we heard from him was so rude. He blamed elderly lady!! How gentleman he is!!!
That was not enough, after he went to delivered the luggage at floor6, we again met him in front of our room at floor7 while he was delivering our luggage.
He asked the rest of elderly women to take all the luggage themselves to floor8.
Only the their bags were not the matter as they can carry but there was one box approximately more than 10 kg, imagine how they can carry themselves.
He gone after put the luggage in front our room at floor7.
We had no choice but to stay in the same room as the important stuff was in the box and we couldn't carry it to floor8.
We understand how his feeling but you have to understand that this was their first time in their life in Bangkok. They are the mourners of the king's funeral. They are from other province. They are totally know nothing and they were miscommunication among them and my mom who was the leader of the group.
I was so upset with the very poor service of the bellman. How can people with such attitude work in hospitality industry.
Where is his service mind????
This was their nightmare in Bangkok created by your bellman. Thanks Princeton Bangkok!
- davealexius (8/5): Good hotel and restaurant to visit - I was here to have a buffet lunch with a group of friends joined tour to Bangkok. They served us good dishes, fresh, and various. The staffs and employees were helpful and Friendly. The location is strategics in town. Wish i can come back someday.
- WozzOz (6/5): Clean, healthy, a little distant - The Princeton would have been 5 star when built, but a little age now. It is 30 min from the CBD, and no shuttle bus (their webpage needs updating). Felt safe and secure. Staff always helpful and polite. Pool is fantastic. Have to pay for Wi-Fi (go to the adjoining 7-Eleven and get a data SIM card for less). Good air conditioning. Only two English TV channels, and no CNN or BBC news. Security staff great for getting taxis. As always, have your destination written in English and Thai. They can change currency, but better rates at MBK in the CBD. Half hour walk to Victory Monument. Use the laundry facilities to the apartment block left of the hotel, up the small ramp. 30 baht for an entire large load, than 60 baht per item. Hot water on 10th, but lacked pressure and temperature on 12th. Can get 6 L container water for 30 baht at 7-Eleven if staying a few days. Bangkok shower water -- swampwater smell, but that will be anywhere. 100 baht to CBD by meter taxi. Conference centre. Fitness centre is one converted room with a bit of equipment.
- David (8/5): GOOD HOTEL - Very good hotel for the price. Staff was courteous and professional (could use some work on their English). Not close to very much, but taxis are very cheap in Bangkok.
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- PratimaN237 (8/5): GOOD EXPERIENCE - Bangkok is busy at the airport itself. for Visa you need 1000batt and a passport size photo. which i was not aware. Princeton Hotel location was good and i booked through the web for 9 nights. The room was fine for a busy city. It was my first trip to Bangkok and it offers a good rate. the House keeping were very attentive to details. The front office and in villa dining need more English speaker and sometimes do not have any idea of other locations within Bangkok or to take any food order. The porter who receive me was helpful and kind to suggest any other tourist attraction. i do recommend the hotel. As i do not consume any pork or beef product it was challenging at the buffet. The menue did change after a few days and it was with a better breakfast choice. if you want to do good shopping i do recommend jj market which opens from Saturday to Monday and MBK market. jj market offer better price.wifi you have to buy a package where on the web it says free wifi. The bar do have the beverage menue which upon request were not available.
- davidlI7242YY (6/5): Princeton Bangkok - The hotel was in need of a little maintenance but clean. The staff was helpful but only a couple of the front desk employees could speak English and then not very well, but we got by. The bed was hard and you have to use your door card to power your room. Wifi is not included and hard to operate. The breakfast buffet is catered towards Chinese because the bulk of the guest are Chinese who arrive on tour busses. It was good at first but for me got a little old after a couple of days. If I go back to Bangkok I'll probably stay at another facility
- patrick D. (8/5): Prima hotel - Prima hotel goede service prima ligging kamer , badkamer kunnen update gebruiken . Ontbijt en maaltijden lekker en prima verzorgd
- AndyD0705 (8/5): It's OK - Very nice personal and excellent service. Rooms are big, but the safety box and hairdryer was from 50th. Hotel situated very far from the city centre, but a nice bell boy can get you a cab and you won't pay more than 100-120 bat to the heart of the city.
- Kelly (6/5): - It was quite ok but location was not so good. Had to take taxis back from every location in Bangkok.
- Complutense (8/5): Good experience in Princeton Hotel in Bangkok - We have been in Princeton Hotel for ten days during a sport competition in Bangkok. Our experience has been positive in all ways. Room was perfect for resting. Everything was clean and comfortable. Hotel employees are very kind and if you have one question or you need something, they always do their best to provide what you need. About food, I only can say exactly the same: everything for us was wonderful and we had the opportunity to taste a lot of local specialities (be careful with spicy things if your stomach is not a strong one). Every night our group used to share some moments together near reception having some drinks. We have absolutely no complain about this hotel. The only thing you need to know it is that it is situated a little bit far from city center and main attractions, but you can reach all of them with local and public transport.
- Bhupinder2010 (6/5): sumptuous dinner - Our tour operator took us for our 1st meal in Bangkok to the restaurant at Princeton Hotel. The food was good. we had a 7 course meal. Service was quick as there were not too many people at the restaurant when we went at 6pm
- deineko-mn (10/5): 5 - Clean rooms, friendly personnel, great breakfast. In this hotel we had room 1408. Please remember that the hotel is right near police station - it will be easier to explain to taxi drivers. The deposit safe is at the reception
- 585kumarr (8/5): Rooms and breakfast - Clean and spacious hotel rooms and delicious breakfast Excellent and co-operative reception staffs. All the shopping areas are very near and accessible and you can get taxis as well as metro rails. If you want, Hotel staffs organize airport pick-up & drop arrangements.
- HarshulBohra (8/5): Beauty of Bankok - A very beutiful hotel both inside and outside. The staff is well trained and they do know there work which they perform very nicely.
Big spacious rooms which are beautifully maintained by the staff.
Restaurant is very good, serves varieties of food for all the food loving travellers.
A good option for business as well as leisure travellers.
- Steadfast-J (6/5): Nice room, but noisy. - This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel for business. I enjoyed the staff, room and views, but because this hotel gets a lot of Chinese and Korean tour groups, most tour groups are up very early due to time difference (4am) and are very loud slamming doors and shouting down the hall ways making their way to the cafe in the lobby. I experienced this both times I stayed there on a daily basis.
