A reggeli választékos volt. Az ágy volt a kedvencem, iszonyatosan kényelmes. Néhány angol nyelvű csatorna is volt a tv-ben a holland mellett. A fürdőszoba tiszta. Érkezéskor egy-két hajszál volt a wc ülőkén, egyébként minden nap cserélték az ágyneműt, törölközőt és minden nap takarították a fürdőszobát. Csendes környéken helyezkedik el, ez külön tetszett. A tömegközlekedési eszközök is közel voltak. Egy-két hajszál volt a wc ülőkén érkezéskor, egyébként minden más rendben volt.

• Milena Drumeva (10/5): Amazing hotel! - We truly liked everything! All of the staff members were very kind, the room was clean and there was a terrace with a nice view of the hotel garden. We had booked the standard double room but they gave us a better room for free. They also wrote us a hand-written note wishing us a pleasant stay, accompanied with some complimentary chocolates, which was also unexpected and wonderful. We loved the location as well, it's a walking distance to the city center. They provided us with an option for a Q-Park parking spot for a more affordable price than parking in the street which we appreciated.
• Adam (10/5): Top Hotel in sehr guter ruhiger Lage mit einem sehr hilfebreitem Personal - Das Hotel mit der victorianischen Einrichtung hat eine stilvolle Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind sauber und vorallem ruhig. Auch wenn unser Zimmer zur Straßenseite lag, und wir das Fenster in der Nacht immer offen hatten, war es ruhig und angenehm. Diese Ruhe und und stillvolle Atmosphäre durchzog sich durch das ganze Hotel. Die Lage ist perfekt! Um die Ecke mit der Straßenbahn, Linie 24, konnte man direkt zu allen wichtigen Haltestellen bis zum Hauptbahnhof fahren. Das Ticketsystem ist genial. Einfach beim Einsteigen die EC-Karte hinhalten, und nochmals beim Aussteigen, und es wird nur das berechnet, wie weit man fährt. Kein nerviges Ticket suchen, welche Zone usw., wie in München. Sollte man das Auschecken vergessen, wird max. 4,50 € berechnet, sagte mir die Schaffnerin. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und vielfälltig. Es werden sogar britische Schmankerl wie Bohnen und diese speziellen Würtstel angeboten. Wer's mag.... Die Frühstücks-Atmophäre ist gleichfalls sehr angenehm ruhig. Das Personal geht auch auf persönliche Wünsche ein, z.B. wenn man noch extra Poffertjes haben möchte. Fazit: Diese angenehme und ruhige Atmosphäre, sowie die zuvorkommende und hilfebereite Art des Personals ist im ganzen Hotel zu spüren. Zum Hotel: Das ist jetzt meckern auf sehr, sehr hohem Niveau. Bad könnte etwas größer sein, aber es ist ein altes Gebäude. Die Treppen sind sehr steil, aber das ist in Amsterdam in Restaurants oder anderen Geschäften gleichfalls so steil. Die Amsterdamer mögen es wohl so. Da hat das Wort Streppensteigen eine ganz andere Bedeutung. Also, leicht oder stark alkoholisiert muss man sehr aufpassen. Das Hotel hat aber einen Aufzug. Zu Amsterdam: Wenn es in München Auto-Rambos gibt, sind es in Holland die Fahrrad-Rambos. Alter Schwede, hier muss man 1000 % aufpassen. Die nehmen keine Rücksicht und gebremst wird schon mal gar nicht.

• A5927QDerinn (10/5): An overall wonderful experience. - We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. The design of this boutique hotel is just gorgeous as are the rooms. The staff could not have been more nice or helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area, but is close to lots of unique cafes, bookstores, and shops. It’s a short walk to the major museums (including the Van Gogh museum) and the tram stop to the Central Train station is just around the corner. Will be staying here next time we visit. .

• moj410 (10/5): Delightful staff, great location, wonderful room - This is a beautiful boutique hotel that has maintained much of the original architect and details. The staff helped my husband and I several times from the tram routes to local restaurants, to activities. They were amazing! The breakfast was delicious and fresh. We appreciated the variety of food. It’s a wonderful location. It’s a quiet street yet near many wonderful shops and restaurants. It is also like a block and a half from the tram pickup. Not only would we stay here again, but we would definitely recommend it to others.

De volgende dag bij het uitchecken lag het al klaar voor ons met onze namen erop, heel attent. zoals overal in A'dam kost het geld om te parkeren, zo ook hier en we konden niet voor de deur parkeren. Er is verderop in de straat wel een tramhalte.

We were very well welcomed from the beginning, and all the staff were extremely kind, polite, and friendly. Since we were on our honeymoon, we received chocolates as a gift, which was a very nice and thoughtful surprise — and they were delicious! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet, so we could rest really well after long days of exploring the city. Without a doubt, 10/10 service. Tucked away in an incredibly quiet neighborhood yet still close to the city center, the location is perfect, the rooms spotless and spacious —peaceful but convenient, with plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. What made our stay unforgettable were the personal touches that elevated the entire experience. Everything felt intentional, welcoming, and beautifully done. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in the Netherlands making it absolutely worth the value. We loved the location in a residential area that had many shopping/dining options just 2 blocks away. The staff were absolutely amazing - kind, friendly, over the top accommodating. We especially want to give a shoutout to Sam - he was our breakfast server and just could not do enough for us. Loved our spacious room and the breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had in Europe! It was definitely expensive - but we did go at the busiest week of the year - Easter week - prime tulip season! My only complaint - those towels - please invest in new, more plush ones!!!! We will definitely be back!

• Luke (8/5): Great location and nice hotel - Great place to stay for a few days In Amsterdam. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood and only a few minutes walk from tram and bus stops to get anywhere in the city. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a little dated and bed could have been slightly more comfortable.
• Isabel (10/5): Lovely and luxurious hotel, perfectly located - Staff was courteous and helpful, room was very large, comfortable and beautiful, location was perfect, not too close to the center to be noisy, but well located to reach all of Amsterdam. In a lovely neighborhood with cafes, restaurant and a supermarket in walking distance. One minor thing: the cleaning staff would fold the duvets on the bed in such a way that I had to unfold them every time I wanted to go to sleep. Not a big issue but as I was working hard on this trip there were days I just wanted to get into bed and not have to deal with that. I suppose it showed that the sheets had been changed every day, which was nice.

Staff very interested in helping with our itinerary Cost of hiring bikes - we only wanted bikes for 4 hours to get to the park. much cheaper to get a Uber!

• Annette (10/5): - We have stayed here a number of times and are hoping to stay again. It is a very comfortable place in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to the centre with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, everybody is very welcoming and friendly. A real gem!
• Sander (9/5): Rustgevend, precies wat ik nodig had. - De locatie zelf is prachtig. Het hotel is gelegen in een rustig deel van de stad met een mooi parkje voor de deur. De oude en chique style van het hotel is magnifiek. De kamers zijn praktisch, comfortabel en netjes. Het ontbijt is erg uitgebreid en was een perfect begin van de dag. De badkamer is ietwat verouderd. Het gaat hierbij ook om de accessoires zoals de föhn en de handdoek radiator. Schoon, maar ik vind het de investering waard om het te vernieuwen.
• Canan (9/5): A charming boutique stay with wonderful staff and atmosphere - I enjoyed the hotel's charm. It’s a beautiful historic building with a lovely garden and tasteful decor. The staff was kind and helpful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was also very nice and a great start to the day. The only small downside was the shower, which felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. A modern rain shower would make the experience even better. Otherwise, everything was very pleasant.
