Ok breakfast but was expensive when they broke it out on the invoice. It was included in the rate but when they showed the price broken out, it was very expensive. For an average of €350 per night for the size of the room, it did not feel like great value for the money.

For us the location was the key factor as it is very close to the central station and allows access by walking or train to many destinations we desired. Cost after the various taxes etc were high but all will have that.

The security was excellent, as you needed a room card to enter the main entrance, which made us feel very safe. The complimentary drinks during our stay were also a nice bonus for a relaxing stay There was nothing we didn’t like — everything was very good.

- Lisa (2/5): Sewage flooding in room & ignored by management afterwards - About 6 min walk from station I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely unacceptable. I woke up to find my room flooded with foul-smelling water that appeared to have backed up through the drainage system. The bathroom floor was covered in dark water with a strong sewage smell, and the odour spread throughout the room. Several of my belongings were soaked and ruined, including leather boots, clothing, shoes and personal items, all of which smelled of contaminated wastewater afterwards. Staff members who attended the room acknowledged both the smell and severity of the situation and agreed it was unacceptable. To be fair, the hotel did process a refund for the room and my late checkout fee promptly, which I appreciated. However, despite being instructed to email management directly regarding compensation for the damaged belongings, I have now sent multiple emails over more than a week and have been completely ignored. What disappointed me most was not only the flooding incident itself, but the lack of communication and accountability afterwards. I have photographs of the flooding and damage.

- Belen (10/5): El mejor hotel que hemos visitado en Amsterdam - De los mejores hoteles en los que hemos estado. Para empezar, el lugar es completamente hermoso; la recepción es muy moderna y acogedora, tienen snacks y bebidas, tanto frías como calientes, disponibles durante todo el día. El desayuno es bastante completo, la calidad de los productos parece ser muy buena, todo estaba delicioso. La ubicación es inmejorable, a solo dos cuadras de la estación central, puedes desplazarte a cualquier lado desde allí cómodamente. Es el mejor lugar si quieres vivir la experiencia de Amsterdam desde adentro, sin estar adentrado en el movimiento nocturno del barrio rojo. El cual de todos modos, si quieres visitar, se encuentra muy cerca. Un parráfo aparte para lo mas importante, la habitación tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar, un mini bar, cafe, té y agua a disposición, la limpieza es de primer nivel, las camas son extremadamente cómodas. A las habitaciones se accede por un cómodo ascensor, a diferencia de muchos alojamientos de Amsterdam a los cuales se accede a las habitaciones solo por escalera teniendo que acarrear el equipaje por ellas. El baño es muy prolijo y te dejan artículos de aseo personal a disposición, los cuales se agradecen. Lo mejor que tiene, a diferencia de otros alojamientos en Amsterdam, es que los taxis pueden dejarte en la puerta del hotel, ya que esta rodeado de dos avenidas transitables. A sólo una cuadra de innumerables lugares para comer, destacandose entre ellos la gastronomía Argentina, Italiana y Turca, con excelentes opciones de comida. Y a solo dos cuadras de una de las calles principales de Amsterdam donde se encuentran todos los locales comerciales mas populares de lugar. La limpieza es lo que mas resalto, junto con la buena atención de su personal, la excelente ubicación y el plus completo de tener a disposición snack y bebidas calientes como un buen cafe o chocolate caliente a media tarde en recepción. Es tal como se ve en las fotos, o aún mejor. Vovlería mil veces. Lo recomiendo.

- Mark (3/5): Very disappointing - The location was very good - very close to the central train station and places of interest. Staff were nice, although strangely not particularly aware of the local cafes/restaurants (or maybe reluctant to recommend). Breakfast, whilst basic, was quite tasty. Room was very disappointing, especially the bathroom, which did not meet my expectations based on what I had seen online + the cost. All up, not good value for money.

Close to main areas of tourist interest and lots of bars and restaurants, but hotels was quiet. Facilities good and we were impressed with the rooms. Nice character. Very nice touch to provide free drinks and snacks in the lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was a little expensive at 17.50

The staff were perfect and if you're using Grand Central it's exactly right - you can see it from the lobby. It felt a little exposed to the street, but that wasn't too much of an issue. It was small, but only when viewed next to how expensive it was.

The quiet room was small but comfortable and had a nice bathroom. Staff were very accommodating and I was able to store my luggage before and after checkin and checkout. I appreciated the nearby grocery store with excellent pastries and cheese. The bed was ok but not the most comfortable.

- Bhaaeldin (2/5): NEVER AGAIN :) - Hmmm , nothing in particular! maybe a little bit the location that is so nearby the main train station, but it's not in the middle of lively location as other hotels, The only good part was the young girl at the reception, she was friendly and she tried to help. Here was the shock ! which I consider almost like a scam , they gave me a different room than from the photos which I chose specifically, and it was really irritating room and not spacious , and to make it even worse, there was no iron, i had to request, the kettle doesn't work right, and the sink of the toilet was blocked for the first night which i couldn't use it !!!! they literlly ruined my visit , I came speicifically to the king's day, and i was so excited, and because they were obviously fully booked, they gave me their worst me and lied about it,and that's why i received a partial refund from them which is still not enough as at the end of the day, i got scammed, and they ruined my visit !!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN ! not worth the price for me, I went after them to a very low budget hotel and I paid much less and i felt way more comfortable over there I swear !!!

- Susan (10/5): Perfect short-break hotel - Perfectly situated hotel, especially if arriving at the central station. Tram stop close by. Hotel is charming and friendly, with a buffet breakfast including hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages). Rooms are comfy with a fridge and safe, lift to all floors. And later in the day a 'help yourself' bar with wine, beer and soft drinks, which was a lovely touch. Cant think of anything really. Breakfast is served in quite a small space and can get a bit chaotic if everyone comes to eat at the same time - but hardly a big issue.

- Minda (9/5): Enjoyable, clean, great location and friendly staff. - It was a lovely cozy boutique hotel that just freshened up the lobby with all new furniture. Very accommodating staff and very good breakfast! Drinks and snacks were always available which made you feel at home when you returned from your day. The rooms needed more drawer space. Shelves in the closet just wasn’t enough.

Hygiene in den Zimmern verbesserbar (Fön klebrig verdreckt) Einrichtung im Bad sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption grüßt oft gar nicht, schaut starr am Laptop oder Handy.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, sondern schmuddelig, im Bad sogar etwas Schimmel. Ich habe nicht das gebuchte Zimmer erhalten, obwohl ich für Lage, Größe und Ausstattung zusätzlich mehr bezahlt habe. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passte überhaupt nicht zu einem Zimmerpreis von 400 Euro pro Nacht. Die Hälfte wäre wahrscheinlich angemessener gewesen, womit man vor allem die Lage bezahlt hätte.

The breakfast, coffee bar and afternoon/evening cocktails were a fantastic amenity. I wish there was a two double bed option. Twin beds for adults is a bit limiting.

- HENAR (6/5): EXCELENTE UBICACIÓN, HOTEL MEJORABLE - La ubicación es excelente. Falta de atención. Pedimos un mapa y nos lo dieron sin comentario alguno. De las 4 noches que estuvimos hicieron una vez la habitación. La limpieza deficiente tanto en la habitación como en el hall de los desayunos. Los colchones no eran firmes y costó conciliar el sueño. Las almohadas excesivas en cuanto a tamaño para dormir. La aspiradora estaba estacionada en el pasillo día y noche. El hotel figura en su página con 4 estrellas, pero en el alojamiento figuraban tres.
