- Tai (4/5): - Location around Galata Tower is convenient with eateries, cafes, Istiklal St and public transport. However we found mould inside 3 fridge shelving. We notified staff and housekeeping cleaned it. Next day the main light in the bathroom stopped working. We stilled used the bathroom using the secondary mirror light. We mentioned this to staff , but it never got fixed.
- CAROL ANN (10/5): - Great location, lots of coffee shops and pubs nearby, about a 5 minute walk to start of Istiklal. Ibo, our night time concierge and his counterpart in the morning are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and clean. Looks a bit more dated than the website pictures but everything is functional. No cold A/C because it is wintertime but we are able to open the windows. Set breakfast is available every morning and can be eaten at the dining hall downstairs or delivered to your room. We would come back and stay in this hotel if we go back to Istanbul!

Furniture was very shabby and not in the best condition; hotel had no amenities. Overall the place is fine but for the price there was a lot to be desired.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great spacious rooms - This place was our last destination and I wish we booked it from the beginning, other than its great location the rooms are very spacious, very very spacious! Our rooms were the 4th floor and the view there was amazing. Would definitely book Ansen again if I ever come back.

Our baby stroller was delayed by Turkish Airlines, they spoke with the airlines in Turkish to assist us. Huge Rooms, near isteklal (6 min walk), Galata Tower (15 mins) & metro stop.

It is not luxury or close to luxury at all. Woke up with bug bites on my legs the first night and they moved me to another room the second night.

Large pleasant room. Friendly staff, who fixed a problem with the air conditioning. Needed a bit of renovation, particularly one window that was taped up. The bed wasn’t especially comfortable.

- Yasir (10/5): - Dosh is very well spoken manager and addresses very politely, rooms surprisingly are very quiet comapred to the area where its situated at, though am sure on weekends its would be buizzing, however sound proofing is not bad. Short walk tonistiklal but mind it, its an uphill walk for couple of minutes. Suites are amazing, nice color choices, very clean and pleasant. Toilets could have been better but the small kitchen and dining area overcomes that shortfall. Definitely a good choice

The staff was wondeful, the room huge, well furnished and very confortable. The cafe and bakery on the first floor is wonderful to hang for coffee in the morning/day and later in the evening for dinner or just a fine glass of wine. I was there on business, and planning to return with my wife for vacation.

Its also located in a very nice trendy yet quite neighborhood and few minutes away from the metro. Highly recommend, I wouldn’t think of any other hotel :)

However this hotel at night became a night club on the last night I was kept up by people who were using the only public toilet which was right outside my bedroom door. I was awoken to the sounds of a party outside my room. This went on until after 4am.. In my opinion this room should not be a bedroom it's to close to the public toilets..and the club was very busy in the evening. If you like peace and quiet this hotel is NOT for you.....
- Verified traveler (2/5): The worst place that I ever stayed. - First of all, I did never write down bad reviews on hotels before. But I have to write the things about Ansen Suites. I stayed at the 1st floor, upper floor from the pub. You will hear the crazy music sound and base sound till 4 am. Plus, I checked out from this hotel just after one night even though I booked many nights. Some of the guys from the pub came upside to the stairs that I stayed and they smoke weeds. The smoke came inside my room so I felt dizzy. The night shift manager recognized the whole things so he promised me the refund. But still, they deny the refund. You can experience the worst experience in Istanbul from here. You should be very careful. And the there is a lot of dusts on the floor and you can see the terrible bathroom as well.

I didn’t want to stay in the tourist area but we were still close enough that it cost $7 USD to get there by taxi. All the hotel staff was super friendly & accommodating with any request. I enjoyed my stay & will come back again :)

Iliyas at reception made our stay so much more enjoyable. His honest and helpful recommendations made the last few days amazing. The room was spacious, clean, quiet (surprisingly impressive because the main floor is also a bar!!) Breakfast is above average, but I wouldn't say the best I've had at an Istanbul hotel. Location is outstanding. I highly recommend Ansen Suites and will most likely be back for a few night during our next trip to Istanbul.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Location location location - our stay at Ansen Suit was very pleasant, thanks to very friendly staff of the hotel: Ibrahim, Elias, and Orkoy. The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, close to most major attractions. There are a number of high end hotels and restaurants around. The hotel itself needs a slight upkeep, but the super nice staff makes up for it. The breakfast is also very good, and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was raining in Istanbul and being in Room 501 (top floor), it was leaking on the day we left. Also, on the first day of our stay, the cleaning staff inadvertently locked the bathroom door thereby rendering chaos and inconvenience. Finally, it would have been great if an option to the complimentary Turkish breakfast could have been provided.

It's a short walk to everything from shopping street (Istiklal), food options right next door, tourist attractions (like Galata Tower), transport options (tramway, funicular, metro), even groceries all within minutes walk away. The room size is very large and well maintained. All the staff running the place are very friendly and willing to help and answer questions. No, it doesn't have bay views, and yes it is located on top of a restaurant/bar so it does get noisy at night especially the weekend. Nevertheless, it is a very comfortable stay for the price.
