- Lucy (4/5): Negative experience - I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I feel I need to warn other travellers about my experience here. I booked this apartment because I was travelling alone for the first time and specifically wanted privacy, peace, and to feel safe. During my stay, I left the apartment for around an hour to go and book a boat trip. When I returned, my apartment door was wide open and I walked in to find the owner and another man inside the apartment. I was told they were there to “fix the internet,” despite me never reporting any issue with the internet or being informed that anybody would be entering the apartment. What upset me most was that nobody contacted me beforehand. The owner had my details and had already communicated with me through Booking.com the night before, so there was absolutely a way to let me know they intended to enter. I was so startled and uncomfortable that I walked back outside. When I eventually went back in, I briefly recorded the interaction because I genuinely felt unsafe. You can hear from my voice how shaken I was. The owner then became irritated with me for recording. Nothing appeared to be stolen or moved, but that honestly isn’t the point. My belongings and personal items were all there in plain sight, and walking into the apartment unexpectedly to find two men inside felt like a complete invasion of privacy. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of response afterwards when I contacted customer services about what had happened. This experience completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable solo trip and left me feeling anxious and uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay.

- krystel (9/5): A pleasant quiet stay - Beautiful views over the Harbour from our balcony and lounge. Nice to have a pool to cool off in. The stairs up to our apartment . The limited public transport, especially on the weekends
- Giuseppe (9/5): Fantastico - We stayed in this villa for 5 days. The villa is charming, the pool is always clean, and the area is truly peaceful. We chose a room with a balcony, and it turned out to be an excellent choice because every day we woke up to a stunning sea view. Chirki, a super charismatic young woman, welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know for our vacation. The living room with kitchen is the villa's real plus, along with the small terrace where we spent most of our vacation admiring stunning sunsets. The location is super central: to get to the Lapad promenade, you have to climb 188 steps and you're right in the center. The bus stop for the old town (line 6 Libertas) is about 800 meters away, and there are supermarkets (Studenac) and bakeries nearby. Lapad Beach is huge and free, but for a more immersive experience on the promenade, there are steps (every 500 meters) that lead to the rocks, which are well-equipped with ladders and platforms for swimming. Is Croatia expensive? Like all tourist destinations, of course, but you just need to know how to look carefully to find typical products at low prices. We bought a case of water for €2.40 from Konzum at the port and everything else from Studenac, as they had a reasonably priced bakery. We recommend a small seafood restaurant in the Old Town, where we spent little and ate amazingly. It's called Barba and is located right in the center of the Old Town. An octopus sandwich costs €13 and a fried fish and chips €18. The portions are very generous, so much so that we ate for two. As for nightlife, Lapad is always crowded until late at night, and the clubs play music. We went to Revelin, and it was incredible, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Nulla

Apartament jest przestronny, z osobnym pokojem, co pozwala jednemu gościowi odpoczywać, a drugiemu swobodnie zajmować się swoimi sprawami. W wyposażeniu znajdziemy wszystko, czego potrzeba: ekspres do kawy, toster, mikrofalę i kuchenkę, więc można samodzielnie przygotowywać posiłki. Lokalizacja jest świetna – blisko kilku plaż oraz przystanku autobusowego, który łączy z lotniskiem. Dzielnica jest turystyczna, nowoczesna i przyjemna, różniąca się od historycznego centrum miasta, co daje trochę spokoju i przestrzeni. Podsumowując – komfort, widoki i wygoda w jednym! Jedyne drobne uwagi: czasami Wi-Fi miało słabszy zasięg, a przydałoby się też żelazko i powitalna kawa lub herbata – byłoby to miłym akcentem na start pobytu.

Las vistas son magníficas, tiene un Market y la parada del autobús que va al centro a 10 minutos andando, y una piscina compartida con el resto de huéspedes que siempre estaba sin gente. La dueña nos facilitó el check in a las 11pm con un pequeño pago aparte.

- David (10/5): Perfect quiet location for families, couples of friends who want to explore Lapad - The hosts were very polite and accommodating. Communication was very easy through messaging in Booking.com. We hired two apartments and the one we had on the first floor was the best of the two as we had a balcony that looked over the bay and we had a separate lounge/bedroom. Our teenage boys shared an apartment next to the pool which was perfect for their needs. All rooms had aircon and a safe. Although small the pool serves its purpose very well and cools you down at the end of hot day. The pool, pool area, outside seating and all the off the outside grounds are kept very well. The location is perfect for walking 10mins down the road to the shops and restaurants or you can walk the 180 steps down to the beach and beach path. coming back at night walked along the main street of restaurants and then along the road up the gradual hill. Bus route into Dubrovnik is a 10min walk down the road and the No6 bus runs until almost midnight. This was the perfect stay and we would certainly stay here again 10/10 Nothing, we really cant fault anything.

It could do with either a full-length mirror or even a decent sized one somewhere in the apartment. There was one above the sink in the bathroom but could only use it for brushing hair / removing makeup etc.

En tant que jeune couple de 31 ans, nous avons vraiment apprécié l’appartement : spacieux, fonctionnel, propre et bien équipé (climatisation dans le salon et la chambre, sèche-cheveux, fer à repasser, etc.). La vue sur la mer depuis le logement était très agréable, et l’accès à la piscine toute la journée a été un vrai plus – toujours propre et calme. L’accueil a été chaleureux, avec une personne sur place qui nous a tout bien expliqué à notre arrivée. En résumé, un séjour très agréable dans un cadre reposant, bien entretenu et accueillant. This walk involves many steps so anyone older or with mobility issues would need a taxi! The pool was lovely and the view from the room was breathtaking! Large living area and balcony. Kitchen area is very well equipped with everything you could need. The management of the villa were not the best. On the first night of the stay I received a message requesting payment for the stay.. €50 more than the price of the stay when I had already paid in full! This confusion did taint the experience as it was stressful. The lady who took care of the apartment was lovely at the beginning of the stay but was not very friendly at the end, merely wanted us gone!

- Mackenzie (3/5): The location was great, overall the horrible service really hurt our trip. Who wants to get yelled at after an 18 hour t - The location was great. Amazing view, close to beach and some food. A lot of stairs very high up the mountain. Regarding the room it was fairly spacious. Not a lot of counter space and the towels were horrible. Plus the building had construction so it was very loud at 5am. You could hear everything in rooms next door. I wish I had spent an extra 50 for decent service and less stairs. First and strongest point the staff was extremely rude. Because this was my first time traveling to this country I didn’t know our check in time. And I wasn’t able to respond until my layover flight had landed. I let them know 5-6 hours before we arrived (which was past check in period) and the lady who gave us the key was pissed. She scolded me for not responding to the text and wouldn’t listen to a word I was saying and kept trying to guilt trip me. I booked 3 other places similar and none of them have msgd me pestering me for a check in time. Every time she talked to us it was with a horrible attitude and dirty looks. She also tried to guilt trip us saying she couldn’t go home until we got there, which is not my fault her boss wouldn’t let her.

- Sylvie VILLAIN (10/5): Appartement LAPAD - L'emplacement est magnifique, face à la baie. Le logement est fonctionnel, propre, la climatisation fonctionne très bien. Le personnel répond aux questions. La piscine est petite et propre. Pour arriver à la mer et à ses mignonnes criques, il faut descendre un escalier interminable , je n'ai pas compé le nombre de marches mais au moins 150 marches
- Sylvie (8/5): Semaine agréable avec la piscine et la plage qui se trouvait à 10 min à pieds - Bel appartement pour 2 personnes. C’était propre. Pas loin de la plage. Il manquait le lave linge et la route en dessous de l’appartement est assez passagère.

- Letizia (8/5): Villa katarina fantastico soggiorno - La vista sul mare, la struttura, la piscina la pulizia La posizione è piuttosto alta quindi bisogna fare salite o gradini per tornare dalla spiaggia, ma si gode di una bellissima vista.La struttura non è molto lontana dal centro città ma non è ben collegata. Tuttavia con uber essendo in 4 non è cambiato molto come costo rispetto ai mezzi pubblici anzi in alcuni casi è convenuto
- Meri (10/5): Hyvä huoneisto leppoisaan lomaan Dubrovnikissa. - Siisti majoitus ja ystävällinen isäntäväki. Näkymät parvekkeelta hyvät. Uima-allas kiva pieni lisä. Sijainti todella hyvä, lähistöllä uimaranta ja muutamia ravintoloita. Vilkasta yöelämää kaipaaville ei oikea alue, mutta meille hyvä! Huoneiston kattilat ja paistinpannun voisi uusia.

Had everything we needed, shame about the swimming pool - Easy to collect the keys, had to pay an extra 10 euro as we arrive at 10pm The pool wasn't in use - this was not declared when we booked the property. When we asked she told us that the weather was too bad to fill the pool (it was sunny and dry the whole time??)
- M. (9/5): - Locatie, dichtbij congres en dichtbij de zee en restaurants. Met de bus is de oude stad goed te bereiken. Prachtig uitzicht over de baai. Zwembad te klein om banen te zwemmen. Wel lekker om even af te koelen.

- Gérald (6/5): Bel Endroit mais!! - Arrivée à 15h comme annoncé sur la réservation. La personne a l’Acceuil ne trouvant pas ma réservation a mis en doute celle ci. Alors que j’avais réservé le matin même. Ne me croyait pas mais après avoir fait des recherche à quand même trouvé celle ci mais pas très aimable. Après l’atmosphère s’est détendu jusqu’à ce que je demande s’il y avait un parking. L’hôte m’a dit de me débrouiller à chercher dans la ville. Impossible de se garer et quand je trouve une place cela me coûte 10€ jusqu’à 22h et attention il faut se lever à 6h pour remettre des l’argent faute de quoi PV. Attention pour descendre à la plage Ok par de petites marches mais quand il faut remonter les 150 marches cela prend 10 bonne minutes et une bonne suée

- David (9/5): Incredible location, great value for money and would definitely stay again if visiting Dubrovnik - Brilliant stay at Villa Katrina! The location is fantastic and the views are incredible. Around a 50 minute stroll to the Old Town (about €6-7 in an uber) and about €28 in an uber from the airport. Apartment itself was great, all the amenities you would need and a supermarket a 5 minute walk away for any essentials. Bed was comfy, my only marginal complaint was that the shower cubicle is really small, but again that’s just a personal gripe. Would hands down recommend to anyone to stay there, purely for the views across Lapad Beach. Thank you! Shower cubicle slightly on the small side, maybe 2 more pillows too.

- Andrew (7/5): C;lean and bright, 15 mins walk to beach and restaurants. - Easy arrivals process and the property arranged the airport pickup. Very clean and bright apartment with a well equipped kitchen. The view from the balcony over Lapad was very pretty. As a late checkout was not possible, the property looked after our luggage until we left for the airport at 2pm. 2 negatives that detracted a little. Firstly we arrived on Saturday and the pool was empty. It was not useabe after cleaning and filling, until Wednesday. Building work in the adjacent building started before 0730, hammer drilling isn't the nicest alarm clock.

- Stuart (9/5): Apartment with amazing views,close to restaurants,shops and beach with short bus ride to old town - The apartment had amazing views over Lapad beach, which is one of the main reasons we chose it when looking at places to stay in Dubrovnik, close to the old town, but did not want to pay the level of expense of hotels in the surrounding area. The apartment was really clean, had the basics needed for the kitchen to cover breakfast or cooking pasta, the shower was powerful (a big plus), the bed was nice and comfy, with TV and Wifi . In terms of wider contact, the Host was always quick to respond in terms of messages and sent us a link about the Villa and the area before our arrival. We had messaged the Host about the check-in time due to our flight being later than planned in the evening, but the Host was able to accommodate us by having a person meet/greet us there to hand over the keys. (We provided a small tip as a thank you). Location-wise wise the apartment to get to the promenade was a short walk (down via 188 steps - given the location to be expected) or you could take a short, much flatter walk taking a slightly longer 5/walk to the end of the road and back round. The promenade takes you all around Lapad beach, and there are lots of restaurants and shops for a range of tastes, with plenty of places to sit as well and watch the world go by. The beach is cobbled, but plenty of space to sit out and go for a swim to cool down. The bus stop to the Old Town is 250m from the apartment at the end of the road, you can get tickets from the kiosk or purchase a Dubronvik pass online before you come (it only activates when you first use it). The number 6 runs every 15 minutes from 6 am to midnight so it was never long to wait. The ride was a short 10 minutes ride, it would be walkable in about 45-60 minutes for those wanting to stretch their legs.

I booked partially to make use of the small pool, but as it is not yet summer, the pool was empty. Overall, a very worthwhile stay.

- Malyk (8/5): Прекрасный отдых, НО... - Наш отдых был прекрасен, но было одно НО! Которое испортило общее впечатление. Рядом шла стройка. Мы так и не поняли, толи это достраиваются номера к этой вилле, толи строится что-то новое, однако 3 дня из 8ми мы просыпались под звуки дрели. Причем начинали они в 7:40!!! И длилось это целый день. Ехали мы не в сезон и на этой неделе, к сожалению были дожди. Мы об этом знали, но уже билеты были куплены, и отменить ничего было нельзя. Поэтому мы выбирали апартаменты, чтобы было комфортно находиться там в плохую погоду. Спать до 9. Спокойно просыпаться, завтракать на балконе с красивым видом, а потом часов в 12 выходить на прогулку. Если погода не позволяет, то сидеть на балкончике, уютно устроившись в кресле с книгой и чашкой чая. Как вы понимаете, это было не возможным. Ремонтные работы совпали как раз с теми днями, когда погода не позволяла, встать рано утром и уехать куда-то. Можете представить эмоции в моменте. Это было очень не приятно. Брать зонт и идти хоть куда-то, лишь бы не находиться в апартаментах. Я специально сняла видео со звуком, хотела добавить его к отзыву, но к сожалению, здесь нельзя добавлять видео только фото. Просто поверте на слово. Это было ужасно. Теперь о хорошем. Вид из балкона потрясающий. Очень очень красиво. И в моменты, когда была тишина - это был рай. Апартаменты удобные. Есть все необходимое. Причем не просто одна кастрюля, одна сковородка, 2 тарелки, 2 чашки, как это часто бывает, когда оборудуют апартаменты по минимуму для сдачи. Здесь были разные тарелки, глубокие для салата, по больше и поменьше, разная посуда!!!, что очень удобно. ЕСТЬ ВСЕ НЕОБХОДИМОЕ, для длительного проживания. Уброрка в номере через день. Нам честно говоря и не надо так часто убирать, но все равно было приятно. Девушка которая там убирала была очень приятной и милой. Единственное что на балконе от стройки и правда было много пыли. Мы поставили на балконе белый столик и белое кресло из номера, на следующее утро весь столик был в рыжей пыли. Звуки дрели с раннего утра. Возможно нам просто не повезло и это была временная история. Пыть от стройки.

The property itself has a beautiful harbor view and is very walkable The things that it needs are paper towels, or a towel in the kitchen Start your guest with at least instant coffee it a few bags of tea. Fix the small window over the door. It will not close.
- Holly (10/5): - This hotel/apartment was lovely! I really loved it. It's very spacious with a gorgeous veiw of the sea and mountains. The balcony was lovely. I highly recommend this room! The staff and cleaning staff were lovely too. The only small thing is there was a tapping noise near the bedroom coming from the pipe/AC unit on wall. It didn't bother me until the last night and stopped me from sleeping tbh. Luckily I had a sofa bed to move to but just wanted to feedback :)

- Fiona (4/5): Rude unwelcoming male host that hindered our experience - Good location for if you want easy access to the bay and only a ten minute drive to the old city. The bathroom, air conditioning and bed is good. However there is just about as good stuff as bad. The male host was rude and clearly prioritized everything over customer service. Our kitchen broke before we used it, and his poor communication forced us to go to his house for help. While the issue was resolved quickly, he showed zero empathy. He strictly monitors air conditioning use and will send someone to your door to shut it off if you exceed his limits (not even mentioned) even when you're present. Additionally, he failed to mention that staff would randomly knock on our door to deliver supplies, catching us off guard. Overall, a frustrating experience.
