- Verified traveler (6/5): 숙박후기 - 객실 내부가 매우 습하여 숙박에 불편함을 겪었습니다.
그러나 CISMA 전시장과 매우 가까워 교통편은 편리하였습니다.
- Elsie (4/5): - The toilet and walls look dirty.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Support my business trip near SIBT, Comfortable for our trip
- Verified traveler (6/5): Worse Service - Not friendly for foreigners to stay at this hotel. Service is worse.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Worse Service
- Verified traveler (6/5): - 청결상태 별로이고 직원들 서비스 마이드가 부족한듯 중국인 특유의 냄새도 남 호텔방의 시트 청결도 나쁨
- Ms. A (10/5): - Great spot near a plaza with great food court. Five minute walk to metro station.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel at good location - The location is great, around 10 mins walk to the underground. There is also a new department store next to the hotel with restaurants and a super market. Good service and lobby area. The breakfast is ok compared to the money paid. Some improvements can be made on the sewage system which stink the toilet and the air conditioning in some room not working properly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 部屋は狭いです。クロゼットがありません、髭剃りもありません。
- Chan (8/5): Relax and comfortable - Hotel is near eateries and shopping centre.
- JOHANN (2/5): Sin A/C, Huele a Cigarrillo. - la habiotación huele a cigarrillo, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, el personal del hotel no hablaba ingles. Gracias.
- Chan (8/5): Relax - Good. Supermarkets and eateries nearby.
- MsChu (2/5): - 同一天訂了幾間房,找單找不到... 花上很多時間。房間裡塵很多,洗手間也沒有清洗乾淨。枱邊是黏黏的,反正說是不乾淨。
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel looks messy. They try to give a hipster or millenial look but looks trashy. The walls of the floors are worned out. The toilet system had its flaws and had to use alternative methods to flush.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 강추입니다 - 가격 위치 친절 모두좋았습니다
- ANTIPAS IV (10/5): - great place, nice food around, courteous staff
- Verified traveler (6/5): - There was hardly any English speaking staff at reception. AS PER MY BOOKING I WAS OFFERED FREE MINI BAR SERVICE PER DAY BUT IT WAS REFUSED AT THE HOTEL.
- Xiaohua (6/5): - Checked in and found half of the bathroom missing.
Changed room and found half of the bathroom door absent too.
Moved into the third room, the shower hear fell down to my feet.
The hotel design is the same as other ibis but the maintenance is nightmare.
Cleaness is not bad.
Staff are friendly.
- Denis (8/5): Good location, good price, good service. - Location was really good, nearby metro station and many food restaurants. Hotel is as comfortable as the price you're paying can offer, overall just good. I did not like that the room smelled a lot like smoke.
- chan (8/5): nice hotel close to shopping centres and eateries. - as it is close to shopping centres and restaurants, we could buy our groceries and food easily.
- Daniel (2/5): Never stay here - Hotels. Com state there is an iron in the room, there is not, room is mouldy and disgusting, no air or extraction, fan is broken. Door key card did not work so they tried to give me a different room
- Verified traveler (6/5): - OK ish hotel, great location - 300 metres away from the metro line no.9. The hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall where you can find plenty of restaurants.
- Deepak (6/5): - On the first day of arrival, they gave a very shabby room on the ground floor saying that they do not have any other room. In the evening also, they said that they have no other room, but when I insisted for a change of the room, they alloted me a room on seventh floor which was good.
- Jeremy (10/5): Recommend for Business Trip in Pudong District - It's a good choice for a business trip in the Pudong area. There is a shopping mall, supermarket and restaurants just nearby. It's great there is a washing machine, dryer and Iron if you stay more than 1 week.
- Piotr (4/5): - Very smelly place - not bad location. For sure not staying there again.
- Gordon (8/5): - Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. For example, my friends required extra mineral bottled water, the staff gave it to us without any charges.
- Chan (8/5): - Ibis Shanghai Lianyang hotel is located near eateries and supermarkets where food is easily accessible. If I am bored, I could also catch a movie at the nearby shopping centres.
- Sushil manickam (10/5): - Good location
- Verified traveler (10/5): The bathroom is small - Overall of the hotel is not bad. The only thing is that the bathroom is very small
- David (6/5): Strategic location - The hotel just less than 2km away from the New Shanghai Exhibition Center, and there are a hypermarket and some other shopping mall within walking distance.
- Tanniya (2/5): Rude Staff and cold room - I booked a queen bed room; they didn’t have it and instead of apologizing she was ignorant and rude to me.
The room had a thermostat; and a heater. Amazing right? No cause the heater turns off the moment you want your room about 12 degrees Celsius.
- Artyom (8/5): not bad - Very helpful staff, location was good too, otherwise the rooms were quite small as in all other Ibis hotels in China. Even though it was written on the booking page that 3 people can sleep in the room, it had only 2 single beds, and no more space for an addition one. so we had to book another single room.
- Neo (8/5): ibis Shanghai Lianyang - Right beside this hotel is a mall, and across the road is a market which has a lot of western fast food such as mcdonalds, KFC, etc. The room is clean and comfy. Staffs are friendly and their internet service is good. I would recommend this to my friends who maybe visiting Shanghai.
- GUILLERMO (10/5): nice pleasant stay - Booked in a double Bed, found the Double Bed small, had to be transferred to a Single queen, receptionist accommodated me, room was nice for me , could not get the heater to work though but temperature was acceptable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel has basic amenities. The rooms were clean and front desk was generally helpful. Great location with a shopping area across the street
- NGUYEN DUC (8/5): Good location hotel for business - Near and convinient to exhibition, there's a bus service at door of hotel to exhibition just 10RMB, restaurants & coffee around. Receptionist is helpful. Will come and stay next trips
- Joe (10/5): - Very good hotel & will stay there next year..
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to shopping and eating - Convenient location but not close enough to subway stations,
Easy excess to a lot of restaurants and shopping malls and supermarkets.
- HWEE ENG (6/5): Newly Renovated - The whole hotel was just newly renovated. The hotel lobby looks much more comfy and better than previous. The room look refreshed with wall paper and new curtains. But shocked to know that there is no air ventilator in the toilet since after the renovation. So it is difficult to get our clothes dry in the toilet after wash.
And a bit disappointed that online TV service was no longer available. Luckily there is free wifi in the room and the speed is good. Overall the hotel facility and comfort is improved after renovation.
- Bhupesh (6/5): - Rooms were different then my last year visit. They have made renovation but made it worst place to stay. Room was small, no place for movement or for luggage. No closet for clothes. No proper toiletries. Only positive thing about the hotel is Local Area.
- THE (6/5): CLOSE TO SHANGHAI EXPO - Hotel is near fair ground ( Shanghai Expo ) & opposite Thumb plaza.Location is good near Layla Plaza so enough food & area is pretty clean. Not good for holiday with family but it is a value for money for Business travellers who have to visit the exhibition as both buyers & suppliers & just need the room to sleep only.Breakfast is absolutely horrible - don't waste time on it.Might as well go to Starbucks around the corner.I would never bring my family to saty in this hotel as you have call girl cards placed at your door without fail everyday.
- janice (8/5): Nice hotel close to many things - Only problem I had was no hot water. But the weather was hot so I didn't mind the cold water. Room wasn't excellent but good enough
- Juliet Ye (6/5): Bad smoking and moldy smell throughout the stay - the room smells and I know the hotel cannot control but there are so many people smoking inside their rooms or in corridors. I specifically requested a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor, and the receptionists told me, people smoke, they can do nothing about it. It is more of stay or leave, it's up to you.
- Richard (4/5): Pathetically poor maintenance - This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at. On my floor there was water leakage right outside the elevator, along with a massive mold patch on the corridor ceiling. My room had a bare patch of wall which was covered up by the curtains, but the bits of dried paint on the desk -- which were never wiped off over my four-night stay -- gave it away. The floor was dusty and the bedding had some hair presumably left by previous guests, which suggests the cleaners weren't doing their jobs properly. Also concerned by those "special service" cards that were slipped under the door every day, despite the fact that one would need a room key to operate the elevators. Overall, a surprisingly shocking experience for such an international hotel brand. Can't recommend this place.
- kok Ping (6/5): Simple hotel - Just for a quick stay, nothing much to comment so dont expect too much, suitable for a quick stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A hotel with good location - A hotel with a great location. But please do proper maintenance as my friend stepped on a tile and it fell out on the entrance. He then tripped over.
- chia-tu (4/5): - no air condition on the first two days, dirty bath room, no air for bathroom.
- VARADA (6/5): Nice hotel near all the places - Hotel rooms are small. Every day some one will drop message girls visiting cards is nuisance, nearer to all shopping malls. Pleasant climate
- Emmanuel (4/5): Could not find the hotel. - I could not find the hotel at all for many hours. It is actually hidden away, for some strange reason. The maps should be updated. I would not recommend this hotel if you have no sense of direction at all.
- Sharad (8/5): - Finding the place is a challenge with no signage on the main road leading in to the hotel
- Healthy from not smoking (8/5): Small rooms - Rooms are smaller than anticipated.Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is suitable for the area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - A little bit dirty of toilet. It is convenient as a big shopping mall is nearby.
- GUILLERMO (6/5): safe convenient place to stay - it was a nice stay, breakfast buffet was so so.
- Francisco (2/5): No worth to consider. - I had stay before in other Ibis around the world and I know what to expect of a hotel this category, but this in particular it was way out of the line. On the hallway walking to the room is all full of humidity, walls terrible maintained. The room was dirty on the cabinets and floors. The bathroom has a glass door broken and surely enough has been like that for months. The shower and toilet never disinfected. At night they allow "promoters of massage" to pass cards under the door and outside there own personal and strangers talk, scream, move things, etc, regardless of the time and not caring about people trying to sleep. I move out of the hotel losing some money but my sleep time is priceless.
- adli (6/5): Improvement needed - The hotel is not near towards the metro as it stated. The tower given was dirty. I'm a regular customer staying in Ibis all over the world. Ibis Lian yang standard does not meet ibis expectation.
- Allan (4/5): Ibis Shanghai Lianyang a disppointment - Other than being located in a good location and its reasonable room rates, the hotel is quite run down .Both front desk and housekeeping is short of staff. I must be fair to say that the front desk staff is a nice group of people but are very short of manpower.
The management needs to look into the repairs of fixtures in the hotel room.
- obw (2/5): Lousy and ran down hotel - Check in was ok as I arrive early and they allow me to do early check in.
1. Room was dusty and ran down with wall paper peeling off and window not able to lock as the handle was missing...
2. Aircon was down the day since I check in and not fix and due to cold weather.. you need to have double blanket to sleep
3. Location was noisy as it behind a school and this start around 0730 till about 1800hrs...
4. Cleaning staff just split outside your door while fixing the TV connection
5. Hard to get a taxi during peak hour.. You have to walk all the way to the main road to call your own taxi
Overall, this is a bad hotel to stay in not really advisable in anyway
- Edward (2/5): Bad Expierence - The room had not been cleaned we arrived at 10:00PM. The location was difficult to find
- Jinghui (8/5): A good fit for low cost traveler - It is worth for what you paid. Good for low cost traveler-single or couple. Location is the bright spot. Room is small but clean and WIFI signal is strong.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Location and room - Hotel is far from subway station. Walked like a mile. Hotel is not so easy to be seen from road, but is next to shopping plaza. Room is satisfory.
- NASSER (4/5): inconvenient hotel and Very disappointing service - when i arrived at the hotel , i found many problems :
My electric cable of my computer don’t fit with the electrical power in my room, the reception said we can’t help u ,So I couldn’t work in my room with my computer, I have to stay near the reception and plug my computer in electricity to work
After google don’t function, I want just to see the map of shanghai. I ask the reception if they have the map of shanghai, they said they don’t have !!!
I went to the near subway station, its about 10 minutes walk, I want to have map subway but they don’t have and they don’t speak English
I was very angry I cannot go anywhere without shanghai map, without subway map, without google map, without good internet and not electric plug that fit with my cable. besides its cold in the room the night
poor customer service, I was very disappointed, I will never return back to shanghai
- Theresa (2/5): No hot water or heating - No hot water or heating. Staff were advised of this and promised that it would be fixed in 15 minutes however this did not happen.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent Price for a comfort stay - A bit far from public transportation, but excellent place for good food and restaurant. Excellent price and good service.
- van phung (4/5): under average - Its surround many difference restaurants inc KFC , Pizza Hut , Mc Donald , Burger King
if you in Iris Man Pub check price before order a beer or wine . in happy hour 1 glass
of beer cost you 50 RMB = $ 10.90 AUD . normal hour cost 70 RMB = $ 15.20 AUD . Taxi from Hotel to City Square cost under 40 RMB be carefull Shanghai Taxi Drivers don't
speak English and they drive farest route will cost 210 RMB I been reap off .don't use travel tour ad in Hotel they are not professional and don't speak English . take a taxi from street about 150 m from Hotel cost less than take a taxi from front door
Ibis Hotel its not worth for a holiday trip .
- Leo (8/5): Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. - I stayed for two nights and it was pleasant enough. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the metro station and there are a few buses that runs near the hotel. A taxi ride is only about $15 RMB from the metro station. The bed is comfortable and the overall cleanness is quite good. There are two malls nearby and the restaurants there are quite good too.
- HAROUTIOUN (8/5): Good hotel - Was good for me specially was very near to the new international exhibition center, contemporary design inside the rooms and the hotel at all but the rooms are dirty, when I arrived first day the toilet was very dirty, also the floor i hadn't cleaned during my stay
- Kit lam (8/5): Its a good hotel. At this price i m satisfied. - The staff are kind and friendly. The room is clean but except the smell of smoke. (I asked for the non smoking room) The voice cancellation is poor if the nextdoor is talking or walking. Luckily my neighbours are all good.
The location is not so convinence to city but easy to go to pudong airport.
- Palomita (6/5): As for the price, it's OK. - Not a bad hotel when it comes to price; however staff doesn't speak well english so be prepared to get info from other source about e.g. communication, etc. Towels are in awful condition, so advisable to have your own one. No coffee in the room, but delicious breakfast buffet every day till 10 am. And, they charge 600 RNB deposit after arrival, so one should be prepared (I haven't found info when booking), when checking out they gave it back. WiFi works fine in the room and lobby. Hotel near bigger shopping center and maybe ~20 min by walk from metro line 2 (goes to cite centre with most attractions) and ~15 min to line 9 (after taking 9 it's east to change to another line on next stops). In general OK hotel, but of course for this price no big expectations.
- Grandeur of Music (8/5): Nice Place - Nice hostel with clean environment. just stay there for one night.
- Gritter (6/5): Small and inexpensive - The room was smaller than I expected, but the bed was comfortable and the internet worked great. For the price it was a good deal and the location was good.
- Mohamad Taufik (8/5): Cleanes of room - The hotel location was good but need to improve the room cleanses as the shower sometimes smell N i got no towel Matt for some days until i ask then they will give N towels need to replace as i got frequently old towel that already very thin N a lot of holes. I think for an international standard hotel this is not good at hotel. I know its just 3 star but clean is no specially in the toilet.
- amanda (8/5): 周围设施便利 - 周围是联洋生活区 很便利 吃饭逛街很方便 空气很好,就是没有地铁很不方便
- Everette (8/5): Shanghai Hotel - The check-in was a bit slow because more guests at the same time than check-in staff. Need to leave a 200 RMB deposit. Check-out process also was a bit long. The actual room was good and the Wi-Fi worked all the time. It was about 20 minute walk from the nearest metro station. The hotel is hidden in an alley behind a shopping mall.
- Agnes (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Clean and comfortable, just a bit far from subway. The shopping mall nearby provides all you need, restaurants, supermarket. Value for money. Good to stay if you participate trade show at shanghai new International Expo centre, about 25 min walk. The Century Park next to hotel is good to hang out during weekend too.
- Mxolisi Valashia (8/5): Shopping at Shanghai Science and Tech Museam - The rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is excellent, there is a starbucks and several shopping places around. A healthy Breakfast offering, with a selection of both western and Chinese options.
- Bear Bi (2/5): Dirty corridor, room is fine and cheap - Noisy if your room is facing car park and lower floor.
- Ding Chun (2/5): hotel corridor extremely dirty - Hotel corridors are very dirty. The smell of it is even worse.
Hotel room is cleaner, but with what you see in the corridor, you wouldn't think the room is that clean.
P.s. The whole hotel has 2 hair dryers only, so bring one if you need one. No fridge too
- ML (2/5): Dirty and smelly corridor on 3rd floor - Room is fine to stay and cheap. A shopping mall and two Starbucks nearby. No hair dryer in each room, only got few to borrow from reception counter. Dirty and smelly corridor on 3rd floor. Won't go again.
- Crusher (10/5): Great Hotel for the Price!!! - It is in a clean, safe neighbourhood! In addition, it is close to everything in Shanghai!
- Crusher (8/5): Ibis - For Shanghai, I was surprised that the hotel was so nice. In short, for what youpay, it is a steal at such a low price.
- Harout Kzirian (6/5): Very good for SNIEC Visitors - -Modern Decorated Hotel and Rooms -Very small rooms (no desk to put your notebook) -Wired Internet always was good and the wireless sometimes good sometimes not in the room but always good at the lobby. -not that clean hotel just don't look under your bed it's better because if you see you may not take the hotel (thanks God I noticed and while leaving) -very good neighbourhood (shopping mall - Pizza hut - KFC - Noodle world - Korean rest. - Mcdonalds - Burgur King - massage centers - few bars) fast foods close at 10:30 pm just KFC stays 24 hours and all these places just 2 minutes walking. -Subway station (metro) is about 20 minutes walking from the hotel -very near to the Shanghai new exhibition center just 2 minutes by Taxi and it costs just 14 RMB -From Pudong Airport to this hotel by taxi is about 175 RMB -From the Hotel to the city center (Luijhazi - The Bund - People's square) about 55 RMB -didn't try the breakfast -I was there for Automechanika 2013 exhibition that's why I chosed this hotel and will choose again if I go for exhibition there, for tourism I think the city center better because full of life and the bars beside each other always open, In the hotel neighbourhood the life ends at 10:30 PM you can't find people in streets.
- traveller (6/5): Not a 3 star, a 2 star at best - This is what Accor hotel group used to call a Formular One hotel, which was their most basic budget hotel. Now they brand it a "Ibis Budget " hotel in many countries as distinct from their usual 3 star Ibis hotel. Its not a place to stay where you have lots of luggage & need somewhere to write & work.because there is no desk - . in a tiny room. Great location with big shopping centres , supermarket, cafes, restaurants all around
- raj (2/5): too small bath room - never expected, bedroom & bathroom to be so small. a
- xiaohua sheng (10/5): - I had a very nice stay this time, will come back again. The staff are very very nice! too bad no wifi in room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ibis Shanghai Lianyang - It's decant hotel with basic necessity. Clean, neat and conveniently located for food and transportation.
For my next visit to Shanghai, I will probably pick Ibis again
- JJ (6/5): overnight business stay - Stayed in April 2013 on a quick one night business stay. Needed a room for a few hours and didn't need much. Read all reviews so pretty much expected what I got. Yes, rooms are small, but considering the price and location, it was worth it. Is within walking distance to some stores and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (6/5): oky - Food only chinese avilable no western food as so many pepole coming from western countries.not much facilities..
if you are just looking for place to sleep and bathe its perefect but do not expect anything else.
no english channel for entertainment
- Verified traveler (6/5): very satisfactory for the price. - very satisfactory for the price.
- Verified traveler (4/5): IBIS : A Disappointment - I regularly stay at IBIS hotel and this was my 3rd visit to IBIS Lianyang, as it has been decent business hotel chain for me. The stay was painful this time right for the time being taken for check, internet not working on daily basis, towels in very bad condition on 1st day etc. Regular reception staff could barely understand english and had to refer to supervisor each time who still did a reasonable job. Even though the hotel was full but still only 2 counters on the reception working meaning that there was a long painful wait each time we wanted to get to the reception. The hallway was littered with Massage Cards often. overall a bad experience and i would not like to go to this hotel again.
- Henry (2/5): Jing Jiang Inn has better c/p value - I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. All the time I asked for a hair drier but...I got none. Their replies are always the same - ran out of it. Location is good, starbucks at the corner, shopping plaza at both sides of street. Anyway their hardware is.....cheap, almost on the same level of Jin Jiang Inn (or a bit worse). I will not spend same amount of money on this hotel again.
- Lesley (2/5): Needs refurbishing! - Needs refurbishing! We have stayed in this hotel twice before and both stays were fine. Location is great and it is close to the International Exhibition Centre on Long Yang Rd. I doubt that management have done any updates in the last 2 years since we were here. Carpets are threadbare, Towels are greying, thin and full of holes, I had 2 cold showers as the hot water ran out and we couldn't use our bathroom light as the fluro starter had broken. Despite a guarantee to fix problems in 15 minutes and reporting the broken light it never got fixed so just blinked for 2 days. We were at a convention all day so couldn't change hotels, but we will look elsewhere next time.
- Mark (4/5): Ibis Shaghai-- not up to European standards - I was shocked when recently staying at the Ibis Shanghai. It was not at all what I expected from Ibis (which is like a Days Inn Value Hotel, still they are quaint and clean generally in Europe).
However at the Shanghai Ibis the front lobby furniture was filthy-- the chairs had never been even wiped down and hid grime all over them. My room had the previous guests business still in the toilet (ick), the bathroom lights did not work, the window would not close (so my room was full of mosquitoes every night), and of course, the hotel had turned off the air conditioning because they decided the weather was just fine for them.
If this wasn't bad enough the hotel is next to a school and the kids start listening to blaring creepy nationalistic music out in the courtyard at 7am everyday! The location is good if you need to walk to the Shanghai Expo, but other than that i would never ever stay there again.
