It is very small, we hardly have room for our two large suitcases. I would recommend booking a larger lake view room. We were only there for two nights and we slept well, so that was fine.

Helen (7/5): A good base in El Calafate. - Great location just on the edge of El Calafate, with views of the lake. Feels like a chalet and the breakfast room and breakfast were good. It seemed like one of the nicer properties in El Calafate compared to others we saw on day trip drop offs and I would recommend a stay here. It’s about 15-20 mins walk to get to the well rated restaurants in town. We struggled to adjust the temperature of our room - there seemed to be no heat source/radiator and no thermostat to adjust the room temperature. It was so hot we had to sleep with the window open, and it was 5 degrees outside. The rooms are a little outdated but the beds were comfortable.

A localização é excelente, na avenida principal, o que torna o alojamento bastante central e prático para deslocações. O pequeno-almoço apresenta boa variedade e produtos de qualidade, e o staff revelou-se sempre atencioso e prestável ao longo da estadia. O quarto standard era extremamente pequeno, ao ponto de quase não haver espaço para abrir as malas, e as camas também eram bastante pequenas. A televisão era antiga e com uma qualidade de transmissão muito fraca, algo que considero pouco aceitável atualmente. Além disso, a zona de pequeno-almoço não parecia dimensionada para o número de hóspedes, tornando-se demasiado pequena e frequentemente cheia. Sendo um hotel de 4 estrelas, teria valorizado um pequeno gesto de atenção por ter celebrado o meu aniversário durante a estadia.

Heike (9/5): Gutes Stadthotel - Gute Lage in El Calafate, kurze Wege in die Innenstadt mit vielen Restaurants und eine knappe Stunde Fahrt zum Perito Morene Gletscher. Fruehstueck schon ab 6 am. Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber, bequemes Bett. Gestoert hat mich persoenlich die Fussbodenheizung, die sich leider nicht runterregeln liess. Mit offenem Fenster ging es nachts dann einigermassen.

Restaurant in the hotel was bit pricey.

O hotel se localiza no fim da Avenida Libertador (principal de El Calafate), estando, portanto, relativamente distante dos restaurantes e lojas na rua principal (aproximadamente, 1km). Em suma, pelo preço cobrado, o custo-benefício é muito ruim.

DW123418 (6/5): Central choice in El Calafate - We stayed one night at this hotel in El Calafate. Great central location that allowed us to walk into town to restaurants and a supermarket that is nearby. The hotel is fairly basic as are most hotels in Calafate but rooms were clean and adequate. One note is that the hotel has no a/c. Not a problem much of the year but at the height of the Argentine summer, the rooms get quite hot during the day. Room temp was 82 degrees when we arrived in the afternoon and only way to cool down the room was to open the window and wait... Breakfast buffet was adequate. On a value for money basis, the hotel is expensive but again not out of line with other hotels in Calafate, which probably is based on the fact that tourism is highly seasonal.
450genies (10/5): Great location - comfortable stay - I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Our room had a great view of Laco Argentina and the common room with lots of sofas and tables is very nice for relaxing. They have a nice sitting area near the front door for when you’re waiting for a tour bus, which is very convenient. The location is really good since it’s a very short walk to downtown where there is a park, lots of restaurants, a bakery, and grocery store.
SouthYorkshireColin (10/5): A very comfortable hotel with an outstanding restaurant. - We went two nights here. The hotel was very comfortable and the room was well equipped with a huge comfy bed. The opened the breakfast a little early for us on our second morning as we had an early start for our transfer to Torres del Paine! Boxed breakfasts never really work for us. The standout for us was the hotel restaurant! We ate there both evenings and the food and service were outstanding. Of course there was a great choice of wines too. GF dishes were clearly marked on the menu and I felt comfortable knowing I was well catered for. The choice and quality of desserts was fantastic😎. A real treat.

Quartos amplos e confortáveis com bastante espaço para bagagens. Cortinas que deixam o quarto bem escuro. Tem frigobar e serviço de lavanderia. Café da manhã bom servido em buffet. Tem estacionamento. Em alguns dias no final da tarde servem um mate típico no jardim muito simpático.

tonytsheng (10/5): Great - Great property, 10 minutes away from the downtown area of Calafate. Lovely clean rooms, their restaurant is also great. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Would stay here again easily. Drive 1 hour to the west to see the glacier if you have time.
51kunis (8/5): Cozy hotel with beautiful view of Lagoa Argentina! - It was pleasure to stay such a wonderful cozy hotel with great view of Lagoa Argentina! Good breakfast and good people there! The room is very cozy if you consider more spacious room, you should check with the hotel before. Other than than, one beautiful hotel it is!
