• GEORGE (4/5): Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία αλλά προβλήματα στην πρόσβαση και στα ηλεκτρικά στο συγκεκριμένο δωμάτιο (201) - Η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ καλή σε ελάχιστη απόσταση από τα αξιοθέατα όπως Αγία Σοφία, Μπλέ Τζαμί κλπ. Το πρωϊνό σερβίρεται στον τρίτο όροφο με θέα στην γύρω περιοχή. Το δωμάτιο Νο 201 ήταν εξαιρετικά μικρό, δεν υπήρχε χώρος για να τοποθετηθεί η αποσκευή. Εκτός αυτού υπήρχε βλάβη στα ηλεκτρικά και συνέχεια η ασφάλεια έπεφτε. Έπρεπε να βγαίνω στον διάδρομο για να σηκώνω και άλλη ασφάλεια εκτός από αυτή στο δωμάτιο. Το ανέφερα και μου άλλαξαν δωμάτιο αλλά μετά με μετέφεραν πάλι στο ίδιο διότι υπήρχαν άλλες κρατήσεις, όμως το πρόβλημα με το ηλεκτρικό παρέμενε παρά την διαβεβαίωση οτι θα επισκευασθεί. Δεν υπάρχει ανελκυστήρας, η σκάλα είναι πολύ στενή και πολύ δύσκολο να ανεβάσω τις αποσκευές στον δεύτερο όροφο.

• Abderrahman (5/5): Un hôtel bien situé, avec des chambres adaptées aux familles et un accueil sympathique, mais dont le manque de propreté - Un séjour en demi-teinte. Si l’emplacement est appréciable, la chambre correctement dimensionnée pour une famille de quatre et l’accueil réception aimable, le reste n’a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Difficile de recommander pleinement cet établissement en l’état. Malheureusement, les points négatifs ont largement pris le dessus sur le reste. La propreté laisse vraiment à désirer : odeur nauséabonde dans les toilettes, draps abîmés avec des accrocs visibles, et des traces de fuite au plafond qui témoignent d’un manque d’entretien général préoccupant. Côté salle de bain, le pommeau de douche était hors service, rendant l’utilisation très inconfortable. Le petit-déjeuner, servi à table, s’est révélé décevant : une offre très limitée, sans aucun choix, loin des standards que l’on est en droit d’attendre. Pour couronner le tout, le personnel de cuisine s’est montré peu avenant, avec une barrière de communication notable en l’absence d’anglais. Un niveau de prestation clairement insuffisant pour un établissement accueillant une clientèle internationale et familiale
• Pilloni (8/5): Hotel perfetto per punto di appoggio - Posizione eccezionale con vista spettacolare sulla moschea Blu, terrazza panoramica con vista mare da una parte e moschee dall'altra, pulizia della camera effettuata ogni giorno inoltre l'Hotel ha anche un ristorante dove si mangia davvero bene. Nota di merito al manager che è stato gentilissimo e ci ha perfino prestato la sua Istanbul Card. Bagno in camera più che dignitoso La camera è un po' piccola e avrebbe bisogno di manutenzione viste le diverse macchie di muffa presenti, reception un po' sguarnita di giorno e vuota la notte, colazione un po' striminzita anche se buona. La struttura è datata e un po' scomoda senza ascensore ma è un classico degli hotel di quella zona. Insomma, un hotel buono come punto d'appoggio per chi passa tutto il tempo fuori e ci torna giusto per dormire
• Tadeas (4/5): Nádherný výhled, ale moc nočního hluku. - Blízko památek a hezký výhled na Modrou mešitu z terasy. Pokud dostanete pokoj v přízemí na odvrácené straně od ulice, utečte pryč. Pokoj sousedí s kuchyní vedlejší restaurace, kde se pracuje dlouho do noci a hned od rána znovu. Přijdete si, že se snažíte usnout v hrnci, který někdo drhne drátěným kartáčem. Toto je opravdu smutné, pokoj by se neměl nabízet hostům. 2 noci jsem se nevyspal. Údajně se to snažili nějak řešit, ale bez výsledku.
• Satam (7/5): - الموقع + الموظفون ودودون اعتقد كلمة فتدق كبيره عليه بنسيون اقرب للواقع بحتوي على 6 غرف فقط لايوجد الا مفتاح واحد للغرفه اذا خرجت وقفلت الباب سوف تطفئ جميع الكهرباء في الغرفه حتى الثلاجه! كذلك يحتوي على 5 موظفين فقط معدة الطعام هي نفسها منطفة الغرف ! الاستقبال لايوجد فيه احد ! وان كانت كلمة استقبال كبيره عليه بعد الساعه 12 يغلق الباب الخارجي هناك رمز يفتح الباب ولا يوجد موظفون نهائيا الا الساعه 8 صباحا الفطور انتركنتننتال اذا جئت للمطعم تقول لك معدة الطعام اجلس وهي تأتي بالفطور لك على ذوقها ! مع انها كانت محترمه جدا حجزت 5 ليالي في غرفتين عائليتين اول 3 ليالي اجلسوني في غرفه غير التي طلبتها بحجة وجود صيانه للغرفه العائليه الغرف صغيره جدا عكس الصور والادهى والأمر السرائر للنفر او النفرين ضيقه جدا جدا ! حتى سلة قمامه لايوجد الا واحده في الحمام ، اعتقد من يريد الفندق كمبيت لقربه فهو يستحق اما غير ذلك لا اعتقد
• Andrii (3/5): - Staff was very helpful and friendly. We encountered alot of issues during the stay but staff tried their best to help. Every morning a lady cooked fresh breakfast for us. View from our room to big mosque was very nice. Hotel requires serious renovation. Pictures do not match the interior and look much more superior. We had leakage from the ceiling and the corners of the room during rainy days, but were relocated to another room. Lately the door lock stopped working there so we had to sleep with the door unlocked. Staff replaced it next day. Due to the bad ventilation the air was stuffed and not fresh.

• Irina (3/5): - Ну, надо быть сильно не притязательным туристом. Человека на рецепшене мы не увидели ни разу, заселяла нас единственная кто вообще там был- бабушка из ресторана. Чтоб вы понимали, ее еще надо было найти вверх по узкой леснице 5 этажей. Ну и конечно она не бельмеса, переводчиком пользоваться не умеет. Все косяки номера' разводим руками. Но говит огонь , и за бомбовый завтрак с видом на голубую мечеть( правда под ногами валялся окурок) можно забить. В итоге' если нужна локация по адекватной цене- ок. Если будем придираться к запаху канализации- нет.

Terrazza bellissima. Assolutamente consigliato e tornerò sicuramente Nella camera da 4 c'è un armadio molto piccolo e nessun altro posto per mettere i vestiti (nessun tipo di appendi abito). Ma direi che sono cose di poco conto rispetto a quanto offre l'hotel.

• radek (9/5): na výlet do Istanbulu doporučuji, skvělá lokalita naprosto v centru - snídani dělala každé ráno hodpodyně v kuchyni, skvělá žena, ke snídani vajíčka, omeleta, sýry, marmelády, pečivo, salám, káva, čaj, vždycky se člověk najedl dosyta. Kdo čeká švédské stoly velkých hotelů, bude zklamán. Poloha hotelu naprosto skvělá 4 minuty k Hagia Sofia, ohromující výhled na Blue Mosque, skvělá restaurace na střeše, nádherný výhled na obě mešity i moře. • Isatou (9/5): It was a good air bnb for short stay and it’s close to most amenities. The breakfast is also nice and I think Mahmed sh - The property was very clean and quiet. Same breakfast everyday for the length of your stay. Need to have at least 3 different breakfast options to offer. I was worried when the light went off and there was no staff available to help for it’s not 24 hours service. Luckily it was for a short period.

• Usman (9/5): Great place - 3 minutes walks to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Excellent location. Lots of supermarkets and food options nearby. The bus stop to/from airport was also 2 minutes away. Host was very accommodating. Breakfast wasn’t buffet but delicious. No elevator so be ready to climb stairs. Rooms are on 2nd floor. No phones/reception (but Mehmet was available on WhatsApp all the time and gave good advise to save us money in transportation).

• Manjola (3/5): Poor - Just location was good and transportation First they didn't have safety box was broken, second a lot of noise all the time because people in the stairs went to the restorant on the roof. Bathroom very bad smell bother all the time. Windows not shade curtains you can wake up from the light early. Not cleaning and changing towels every day you should request for this. Not elevators and no one in hotel for reception. I will not recommend this hotel for this high price that they have.
• Regina (9/5): Employees were wonderful and attentive. Location was awesome! - It was great that breakfast was included. It was fresh cooked and a variety of foods. We stayed 3 days and the woman remembered our morning drink of choice and was very accomodating. Great food!! One of the bedrooms didn't have a darkening shade in it. This made it easy to see in from the street at night and the streetlights shined in.
• Fearless06846007268 (6/5): Not good for family - Spacious room Clean We couldn't sleep the last 2 nights Because the toilet's extractor fan becomes noisy, unfortunately they don't fix it until we leave. We booked through booking.com, when we told the managers we were not happy he showed our booking as not arrived. So we couldn't be able to write a review. Not good for family. Not going back to that hotel. It was on July 2022.
• Siti (10/5): Ararat hotel is the best option for small family who would like to be close to Blue Mosque/HagiaSopi - The location of Ararat hotel is the gem! Strategically located next to Blue Mosque. So convenient since it's walking distance to main attraction ie. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque & Topkapi palace. The breakfast restaurant have a very nice view of Blue Mosque & rooftop to view the Marmara sea. Our family room too are facing the Blue Mosque! The room has been refurbished new! The hotel receptionist Muhammad also very helpful, he assisted to do our laundary & give advises on when to visit Topkapi. Thank you Muhammad ❤️ Our family room comes with 1 queen, 2 single beds which is perfectly fit our small family consists of 2 adults 2 children. There's a little smell in the morning at toilet from the old piping. But it's ok since the hotel is old but has been refurbished. There is only a few rooms available since it's boutique hotel. U need to climb narrow staircase, but it's fine sine the receptionist assisted us with the luggages.

• Hamid (8/5): Restauents are near walking distance, blue musjid and Ayasophya musjid are near walking distance par - Over all it was please to stay, the rooms were under renovation. Entertainment not enjoyable coz almost all channels are in Turkish language.. Most boring place when you don't have TV of your choice. I took TV box with me they didn't have socket for 3 pins, so could enjoy. Otherwise all was satisfactory. My advice is to take with you TV box so you can watch YouTube, prime video and Netflix, only if you have subscription for these channels. They use 2 pins plug, make sure you take with you converter.

Street noise, bathrooms smell terrible ( sewage smell), no elevator( was a nightmare to transfer luggages on a kind of spiral wooden stairs. We complained and got our room changed but the smell was still there.

The hotel is being refurbished and is currently looking very nice with spacious clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was useful to have management’s WhatsApp for questions. The restaurant has a good view. I would happily stay here again.

Hotel helped with airport transfer, which was great! The room had a bad odor. The bathroom odor was even worse. Water coming out of tap is not drinkable. We were not able to control temp in room.
• Nur (8/5): best place for family with kids. - It was the right option to stay here. all the attraction and famous place is just around. easy access for public transport,restaurants, bazaar and so on. if you are on family trip, this is the best place to stay. most awesome is the terrace.. so nice and chill.

Room was ok but washroom was very dirty, First 2 nights there was no electricity in the area I checked out the area was blacked out no arrangement for emergency light, I used cell phone flash light to go to the washroom and last day electricity went out on the day. No arrangement for breakfast. No reception, no one on site. I will not recommend this to anyone.

• 173hinak (2/5): Worst hotel I’ve ever been to! Terribly rude staff! Unsafe and dirty! - Really bad experience at this hotel! The receptionist is never there at night! No security whatsoever! We literally got harassed by an unidentified person who followed us inside the hotel, there was no one there at the reception! We had to call the police to rescue us with our 1 year old baby! No sense of responsibility whatsoever! Highly disappointed! Also, they expect us to clean and do their job, giving us lecture on how to maintain the room when it’s literally their job to maintain and tidy up after every guest! No sense of cleanliness themselves tbh I saw old rotten food under the bed, broken washroom cabinets and windows! On top of all this the reception guy was too rude and because of him my first impression of Turkey was that all men are aggressive, mean and proud here! However, this impression changed as soon as we left this horrible hotel! Even 1 star is not a proper rating! It seems that they rate themselves with good reviews I highly doubt someone has had a good experience here! The washroom has a really bad stink to it, the running water in the sink also smells, no microwave and first and foremost no safety! Save your money, you can get a better and safe accommodation with this kind of money at a better hotel! This hotel in particular have such scammers!

• William (8/5): The people working at the hotel, the location and the views. - Location was excellent, from my window I could see the Blue mosque. I could walk to the mosques and sultanamed's area. Restaurant at the top was very good with excellent views and service. The manager Mohamed, he was very helpful since the firs time. We did lost a cell phone in our cab, he did everything to get our cellphone back. In the following days of our stay he gave us a lots of useful tips to get around Istanbul. We didn't like the hotel, we only stay there because Mohamed and the lady working at breakfast make us feel at home. The rooms were very tiny, and they have humidity problems, also bathrooms have some mold on them. Seems to be and old building and the owner doesn't want to spent too much on it. It's sad because I think this hotel even is small and old, it has a lot of potential, it is very well located and it has some amazing views. And in top of that they have a very good manager that seems to like and love what he does.
• Hayat (10/5): Love my stay in Ararat hotel - It is my 6th visit to Istanbul but I consider my stay in Ararat hotel is the best one and will be my Istanbul hotel destination going forward. Location was perfect and SultanAhmet is my favorite Area, the hotel is extremely close to the Blue mosque and the T1 tram as well I have a very close view for the mosque from my room window. Breakfast is delicious and enough to start the day, it was a plat prepared by the lady in the hotel with very nice selection and combination in addition to fresh omlet & French fries daily & of course turkish çay, with the blue mosque view. Room was very clean and spacious, with free upgrade. There is a roof terrace with very nice restaurant and view for both bosphorus and Blue mosque, and 10% discount for the hotel residents. We really enjoyed and loved our stay sooo much. Special thanks to Mohamed for his help and support especially in our airport transfer, free upgrade for the room and the early check in as well. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay so much
• Iro (10/5): - My experience was excellent overall. As a girl traveling alone I had to deal with some problems and the manager of the hotel helped me solve them all. I felt safe and very welcome. The hotel was at a perfect location and I could move by foot without using public transportation, the room was very clean and cozy. Totally would revisit this hotel.

Mohammed made us very comfortable , helpful & responded to any msgs I had sent him within minutes . Dilnaz is a very sweet lady even when she had problems communicating she served breakfast exceptionally every morning . She cleaned our room leaving clean towels everyday . Brilliant stay we had . Lovely view of the blue mosque right outside our bedroom window , busy road infront of the hotel which actually didn’t bother any of us at all , we found it very lively & entertaining . The only downfall is the stairs carpets , they could do with a change but otherwise nothing negative to say
