For bookings from 13 to 23 June: We have reopened the main building following refurbishment work designed to further enhance the experience of every stay. During these first few days, some areas may still be in the final stages of refurbishment, although all our services are operating as normal. Bookings of 3 rooms or more will have the following cancellation policies: -25% will be charged if cancellation happens 15 days prior to check-in date. -50% will be charged if cancellation happens 7 days prior to check-in date. -100% will be charged if cancellation happens 3 days prior to check-in date. Please note that, based on local tax laws, all Argentinian citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (VAT) of 21%. Laura (9/5): Cosy and friendly stay - This is a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The complimentary 6pm wine from their own vineyard was a real hit! Loved the outdoor jacuzzi and open fire. Dinner also good. My only criticism was the neighbours dog that barked all night and interrupted my sleep. But I doubt you would have heard it from the main building.

Loved the innovative touches like the 6.30pm drinks as a way to meet other guests. The hotel seems to attract like-minded people, so it's a natural hub for connections! Nothing. It's a brilliant place to stay.

LondonPBJB (10/5): A great base in Mendoza - A lovely small hotel on the edge of Chacras de Coria near Mendoza. We dined in the restaurant every night as the food was very good quality - steak and pasta being particularly good choices. Rooms are a decent size, well furnished with comfortable beds. The hotel has its own vineyard and every evening they do wine tasting with little nibbles. Very enjoyable and allows you to try some different wines. They are also near numerous other wineries; we took an Uber to the Alta Vista winery which was a great way to spend an afternoon. We had an early morning flight leaving the hotel at 5.40 am. The reception staff were there to say goodbye and give us a take away breakfast to keep us going. Again, very good quality. All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool is small but fine for keeping cool if you are sun bathing.
667jessieb (10/5): You will not regret it - The room size was incredible, the wood gave it a very cabin vibe, I arrived with cold weather and it felt very much like I was back in the Rocky Mountains, a beautiful patio to my room, a good gym, hot tub and warm pool, autumn leaves, the staff where all incredible, I experience my Own private dining due to them being busy in the restaurant they set me up in the cellar, which was a moment to remember, all very helpful with ideas, places to eat, wineries to visit, the breakfast selection was amazing, I stumbled across it and wish that I had of not booked the rest of my stay already, or I’d of been staying every single night, the cozy fire place, wine on arrival, I absolutely adore this little slice of paradise and cannot wait to share it with my friends and family, and come back again soon! Maybe I’ll even cancel my last night and move back in for one more visit, thank you so much, the meal was amazing, the atmosphere, staff, surrounds xxx

The atmosphere was quite friendly with the most delightful staff who are there for your every need, really lovely people. The restaurant was comfortable with a view over the gardens. The food was fantastic, a very good chef delivering excellent well prepared food. Before dinner all the guests are invited to have a glass of the hotel's own wine before dinner which was a very nice touch indeed. We had a heated swimming pool that was well tended and very clean set in the gardens. We highly recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again.

EMBRACETHEADVENTURE (10/5): Perfect in every way - Highly recommend in every regard previously mentioned by others- convenient location, quality and cleanliness of accommodations , excellent dining, warm and serene I ambiance/vibe, and attentiveness to every guest. We were a family of 11 and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive to every single one of us. They even gave us the social room near the lobby to watch football and have a private dinner. Besonders bemerkenswert ist die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals. Hier ist man als Gast willkommen und das spürt man. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet!! Die Einfahrt zum Hotel könnte besser beschildert sein, der Google Pin ist zwar präzise aber wir sind trotzdem das erste Mal vorbeigefahren. Wir haben erfahren, dass das gewollt ist, man möchte unauffällig bleiben.

mattkS5012VX (10/5): Wonderful Accomodations - The stay my fiance and I had at Lares De Chacras this past week (early March) was absolutely fabulous. The staff are professional, accommodating, and communicative. For example, they were able to arrange for a private driver for a olive oil tasting, and vineyard tours one day. The lodging grounds and rooms are secure, quiet, and private, supporting two separate swimming pools. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast is tasty and a great way to start any activity/day in Mendoza. Finally, the evening wine tasting are a great way to meet fellow travelers, facilitating a small community. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a stress-free stay within the city of Mendoza with family and friends.

It’s located in a small town with a selection of very good restaurants and interesting sights to see all very walkable. Visits to vineyards, Mendoza town and the Andes are all easily arranged and the area is well served by Ubers. The hotel is excellent, a real oasis, peaceful, the staff could not be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The gardens and pool area are well maintained and relaxing to sit in. The rooms are beautifully clean and well laid out and the restaurant good.

Daily happy hour set the tone — and, obviously not on the hotel but always something you hope for, the other guests were all weirdly friendly and pleasant, which just added to the laid-back, calm vibe. Rooms were spacious and super clean, and the staff were legitimately exceptional — welcoming, helpful, and always ready with a smile or recommendation. It’s the kind of place you remember not just for the comfort, but for the overall feel of it. Really solid stay that gave us a relaxed home base in Lujan de Cuyo.

The property is beautiful and clean with a variety of amenities such as two pools, gym, complimentary breakfast, wine cellar, tastings etc. The staff single handedly makes the experience incredible (thank you so much Jose, Gabriel, Camila, Juan, Agustina, and everyone else!) and the location is close to a bunch of restaurants, vineyards and stores. Yorkshire1245 (8/5): Loved the location and staff but it was a bit noisy - Unfortunately our room didn’t have a terrace or balcony and only one chair so couldn’t relax in the room. The party noise on 1st night at 11pm was extremely loud but was quietened within half hour of complaining. Our last night bedtime was also disturbed by four ladies partying in the round pool. Apart from noise everything else was great. The staff were superbly efficient and friendly. The food excellent and wine reasonable priced. The location brilliant just a few minutes walk into town and restaurant recommendations great.

The nightly 6.30pm wine tasting was excellent too. - Very lovely boutique hotel near the centre of Chacras de Coria co-located with an excellent restaurant and two pools (excellent in summer). Beautiful, unique property. We especially liked the breakfast, its wide array of choices and the wonderful attentiveness of Maria Luz. Mariana, Augustin and Xiemna also organised all our wines tours and transport. We wish we had stayed longer. Nothing really. Only thing I would say if forced is they gave us a big key and we never understood what it was for.

It's perfect for couples and/or groups of friends. The staff is top-notch. They are all very helpful and go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. The restaurant offers a variety of exquisite options, from Argentine empanadas and steaks to pasta, desserts, and their house wines. I highly recommend it.

996javiery (10/5): An Oasis in a Residential Suburb of Mendoza - Hotel Lares de Chacras truly feels like an oasis tucked away in a quiet residential area of Mendoza. The property has just 10 spacious rooms in the main house, which creates a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. Everything is extremely clean and well maintained. The service from the entire staff was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The restaurant deserves special mention: the food was delicious, the portions were generous and the dinning service from Victoria and Camila was exceptional. Breakfast was included and offered a great start to each day. A wonderful touch is that they produce their own Malbec for their guests, and it was excellent. The daily early evening wine tastings were another highlight. The main house has a beautiful country charm with wood beams, stone details, and hardwood floors. There are comfortable sitting areas inside by the fireplace and a lovely terrace overlooking a lush backyard and pool area. From the moment you enter the front door, you feel as though you’ve arrived at a unique mountain lodge. A special shout to our front desk clerk Jose, who was constantly making sure that we were enjoying our stay. A tranquil place to relax and enjoy Mendoza wine country.

The hotel was in a great neighborhood with many restaurants and wineries within walking distance. The hotel also allows you to rent bicycles during your stay to explore the surrounding areas. The rooms were well appointed and all staff members were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Juan for all of his help and recommendations. Would definitely stay again!

The setting is gorgeous and it has a small but beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds and shades all around as well as lots of trees and plants. Each room has an outside space and the rooms are well equipped with coffee/tea making facilities and hairdryer. There is a fabulous restaurant and a wine tasting every evening with wine from their own vineyard.

jennaclarkemolloy (10/5): Would highly recommend when in the region - We would thoroughly recommend Lares de Chacras for anybody staying in the region, wanting to enjoy the wine regions nearby and everything Mendoza has to offer. The staff were incredibly helpful in guiding us and making reservations for us at the nearby wineries, for tours, tastings and lunches. We were also able to rent bikes from the hotel for a very reasonable price, to cycle from one winery to the next. The room was also beautiful and very comfortable.

The staff are incredible - they are so friendly and helpful and really cannot do enough for you. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. There is a lovely pool which we enjoyed relaxing around and a great little gym although we did not use it!! We ate at the hotel one night and the food, wine and service was fabulous. There is a wine tasting every evening which unfortunately we didn’t manage to attend but we did enjoy a glass of house rose when we arrived which was very nice. The hotel also hires bikes which we didn’t do but makes for a great way of getting around. Instead we went with their recommendation of horse riding which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here - a beautiful boutique hotel hidden away in central Chacras de Coria within easy reach of plenty bars, restaurants and vineyards.

The lovely rooms, the enjoyable pool and outdoor areas. Exception restaurant and wines from their own cellar. Convenient location in Chacras De Coria. Walking or Bike riding distance to some amazing wineries...... The staff were there to make your vacation memorable! What else can you ask for. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

A good choice at breakfast & evening meals if required.just on the periphery of the village making a gentle stroll in the evening to some lively local restaurants worthwhile. Communication before we checked in was perfect : smooth transfer from the airport and reservation for e bikes, lunch and tour of one of the winery near the hotel . The hôtel ( boutique hotel) is an oasis. Beautiful architecture, lovely and very comfortable rooms . Loved the decoration throughout. We appreciated the pool area , very relaxing after a busy day . Breakfast was delicious . Restaurant is also very good . Finally cannot thank enough the staff for making our stay so pleasant . Staff is professional, kind and was helping us in English when our Spanish was less than perfect . Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to come back .

What's more, every staff is super nice. They speak good English and will always try their best to help you. They make you feel welcomed and always carry a bright smile. Be sure not to miss the wine tasting everyday at 6:30pm. The restaurant is a must try. The Empanada is the best I've tasted during my trip. The union soup is hearty and the steak is delicious. Breakfast is another highlight. They have freshly squeezed juice, fruits and made to order eggs and toasts. My heartfelt tribute to the morning team who's so kind to make me an Empanada during breakfast as I had to depart at 9am for my flight back home. I'm so glad to stay in this hotel

The hotel is clean, well-kept, and quiet; the staff are friendly and attentive. We enjoyed breakfast, wine tastings, and a wonderful dinner during our stay. Tucked away in a pretty neighborhood, the hotel is about ten minutes from many of the best bodegas in Lujan de Cuyo. I highly recommend Lares de Chacras if you intend to visit Mendoza and Lujan de Cuyo. 5/5.

The service at breakfast was excellent, the food was excellent, our room spotlessly clean and of course the wine, excellent! Mariana organised our itinerary and we did the vineyards on horseback, we had never been on a horse before🥴, the best experience ever all overlooked by the magnificent Andes. We also did the bike ride around the very well chosen nearby vineyards but had to walk to the last one 😂🍷. Again all the people who owned or worked at the vineyards were the nicest people ever and we learnt so much about wine and drank so much wine 🥴😂🍷🍷! Location was excellent nearby restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy. And Ubers very reasonable to take you further. For us the hotel, the people and the experience 10/10, it’s a definite must do holiday!!!!
