Spacious room, comfortable bed, large, clean bathroom, good kitchen facilities and laundry facilities were excellent. Most of all, staff were friendly and super helpful. Angelina stayed late to meet us at the Pile Gate and led us to the apartments, helping me (senior woman) with luggage to the room door, all from the goodness of her heart. Nothing. It’s a city center location so you must expect noise from the streets, just like in Rome or Paris.

It’s quite well appointed, very clean, everything worked - bar one power point, which seems to be malfunctioning. My room was a little dark. But that’s in the nature of the building, the narrowness of streets and the fact that it was on the first floor.

• Jane Benson (7/5): Great location and was where we signed up for but apt could have been more inviting. - Location was fantastic within the old town of Dubrovnik. The beds were very comfy and the Shower was strong which was great. The furniture in the sitting room was particularly uncomfy and while we didnt spend a lot of time in the apt it would have been nice to come back to a comfy seat. It wouldnt take much to brighten what is a very dark apt by changing some of the decor. the coffee cups were tiny. There should be mugs.

• Abay (10/5): - We spent several wonderful days in these beautiful apartments. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living room with a kitchen equipped with an oven and a dishwasher. Everything is very well made—you can tell the apartments are new and thoughtfully designed. At the same time, the location is perfect: right in the center, without the need to climb up steep stairs to the city walls. The apartments are essentially on the main street, but set a bit deeper inside, so it’s very quiet outside. The famous Game of Thrones staircase is just two turns and about a hundred meters away. The hosts are fantastic—very polite and incredibly kind. Dubrovnik is our love, and if we come back to the Old Town again, we would definitely love to stay in these wonderful apartments.

Host on call via WhatsApp with immediate response. Host booked Uber for us from car park to hotel. Great to have a laundry available. Loved the bath and the heated bathroom floor (winter visit). Will definitely stay here next time in Dubrovnik. Everything was perfect.

Getting up every morning or walking in the evening and being in the center of the old town was awesome. The room had what we needed to cook and sleep comfortably. The staff were very friendly and the parking, while a bit away was worth it. Thank you Celenga apartments for a wonderful stay. There is no real couch or sitting area in the room but our hall had a nice comfortable area as well did the min entry area. Tip for parking the car. Get the Dubrovnik pass first. Swing by the Pile gate, find a safe place and drop off all your stuff with who your traveling with and they can check in. Drive the car to the parking area and then walk about 5-7 minutes to the #6 bus stop (search for stop using google maps). Bus runs like every 15 minutes, I think all day. Get on the bus and use Dubrovnik pass as bus is free with it. Bus takes you right to the Pile gate. The whole process will not take more than 40 minutes.

The apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained — and the location couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of the Old Town, close to everything: markets, attractions, bars, and restaurants. Because it was so centrally located, we were able to come back throughout the day to rest for a bit, which made our stay even more comfortable. Check-in at night was super easy, everything was very clear and well organized. The place was clean, fresh, and smelled great. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely recommend Celenga to our friends and clients. A perfect choice in Dubrovnik!

The apartment is in the Old Town, so no cars or lifts, but everything is within easy walking distance to restaurants and tour pick-up spots. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for all of us. Perfect if you're travelling with mates and want to be close to the action. Would definitely book again

I appreciated the laundry that was available and that they provided detergent for guest use as well. The staff were amazingly responsive to any questions that I had. There was nothing that I didn’t like. I thought at first that it would be difficult to have to park 4 km away but the reality was that an Uber driver was never more than 2 minutes from picking us up and the cost of 10 Euro per ride was less than parking would have been somewhere else.

The exact address of where we were to park our car was not in our original info. After some 'communications' we got the address and taxed back to the old city.

The space was very modern, it had all of the appliances one would need, even a toaster, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and dishwasher. The bathroom was large, with a walk in shower complete with soap/shampoo. The windows opened up, and when they were closed they kept all of the noise out, and they had solid internal shutters to keep all of the light out. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. • Dennis James (10/5): - What a great place to stay for our visit! It was my first time to Dubrovnik (I'm from Dallas, TX) so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Even in such and old historic city, the apartment was incredibly modern and well-kept. Despite all the busy restaurants just a short walk away, it was very quiet in our room, even when our windows right above the street were wide open. The staff was also great, and very helpful. We just loved everything about this place, and would stay there again absolutely.
• Kinna (8/5): - Centrally located apartment on a cute street. Access is easy enough from the main gates - note though that there are many many steps in Dubrovnik old town. These apartments were about quarter of the way up. The check in and out is very efficient even though we never met any staff. There are free laundry facilities. Communication is very good from the host. The apartment is kitted out very well so that you could prepare some basic meals etc. It is quite snug and the windows don't open however just outside the apartment is a communal area which is nice.

This was an apartment that is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. It has 2 spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Living space with kitchen was roomy and very pleasing, providing everything you need to enjoy your stay inside the walled Old City. It is a superb location, awesome accommodation and very kind hostess. Highly recommend!

We did not use the stove or microwave but appreciated the dishes and kettle so we saved a few dollars by having coffee in the room and stashing water. We also did not use the laundry as it’s near the end of the trip but it is nice to have access to a washer and dryer. The offsite parking is not walkable but very nice that the hotel offers this service. Parking was safe and about 10 euros taxi ride to Pile gate.

• Karl (10/5): - LOCATION: This property is located in the middle of old town so perfect for visiting all the sites at any hour. Especially, when the crowds subside. To access the property you do not need to climb stairs so that is a bonus. Short walk I from the Pile gate. There is no staff on site so make sure you get the access code prior to arrival. PROPERTY: Renovated new so you will have a comfortable stay. No elevator obviously so you will have to bring your luggage up a flight of stairs, or two. ROOM: Very clean and comfortable for our 4 night stay. In suite kitchenette was nice to have. STAFF: Did not meet any staff. Overall, I would stay here again. The unfortunate piece is the all the properties within the walls use to be homes, now they are all apartments for rent.

Apartment is spacious with lovely furnishing. Has great facilities for if you want to self-cater. However it is in the heart of the old town so lots of dining options. Even has free laundry facilities. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only possible problem is that you need to negotiate stairs to you apartment. I am in my 70s and have hip replacements and had no problems. Luckily we were on the first floor.

• Susan (10/5): A convenient and wonderful place to stay while exploring the old city and beyond. Everything you need is merely minutes - Within the old city walls, so easy to get to everything. Amenities were excellent - comfortable to relax in, make coffee, microwave. Very clean. And the staff was very accommodating. I had a medical issue and they were very responsive in getting me to pharmacy and information in case I needed to see a doctor. There was nothing I didn’t like.

It was clean and the facilities were good. There was laundry available for free at the location. Extra towels if you needed them. Plenty of hot water. And relatively quiet. Parking was provided for free offsite. And it was about a €10 Uber ride back-and-forth to your car. They’re honestly was nothing that we did not like.

She explained everything clearly and definitely made my stay in the old town an enjoyable experience. An added bonus was having the free use if laundry facilities. On the first night there was a septic smell coming from the bathroom, due to the very old plumbing, as the building is 500 years old. The girl at reception told me how to fix the problem by keeping the drains moist and it was much better the second night of my stay.

• Michael (10/5): Highly recommend - This place is amazing. It is super clean and right in the heart of the walled city. They have free parking, but it is 4km away. We just paid to park at one of the public lots ($20US for the night) and walked into the city. The staff was super friendly and the room was really since. Highly recommend.

• Cheryl (10/5): Fantastic location in Old Town - walkable to everything. - Fantastic location - down a beautiful side street right in the middle of Old Town. Walkable to everything! The apartment was fully equipped, had coffee and sugar, beds were comfy, water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Offsite parking was a real plus since parking is in short supply. But it is truly offsite - about 10 min taxi ride to Pile Gate. Best not to have a car at all. One of the best places we've stayed ever! Nothing!
• Greg (10/5): A most pleasant stay - The bed was comfortable, the bathroom quite big and ear plugs were supplied but we did not need them! Check- in was easy and the instructions were very clear. WiFi worked well and was fast. There was enough space to organise your belongings and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The location was superb, right in the middle of all the action but it was not a restaurant laneway and hence we did not have noise all night. There are lots of restaurants in alleys and laneways, which, although charming, can be noisy. You need to keep the window open, even at night, otherwise the room gets stuffy. This was not a problem for us.

• Nathan (10/5): - If you want to stay inside the city walls of Old Town Dubrovnik, this is the place. Our host, Mia, was incredibly welcoming, keeping in touch via WhatsApp before our arrival and available throughout our stay. The apartment had everything—free WiFi, air conditioning, an iron, plus a washing and drying machine. We stayed on the top floor (yes, 50 stairs up!), with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a cozy living room, and two bathrooms—one with a huge bathtub. The location is unbeatable. A market is nearby for stocking the fridge, and you’re just steps from some of Dubrovnik’s finest Michelin-star restaurants. The apartment is also on one of the most photographed streets in Old Town—it’s absolutely gorgeous. Check-in was easy: we got our keys, a map of Old Town, and then tackled the stairs. The climb is worth it, but packing light is a good idea! One thing to note—parking is about two miles away, but a nearby bus stop makes it easy to get back after dropping off your car. Overall, highly recommend. It’s a fantastic stay in the heart of Dubrovnik!

Beautiful place, facilities were great, spotless apartment with all the facilities you need. All within walking distance. We had a problem with the air-conditioning late one evening, messaged the contact no provided, they sorted straight away. Nothing, highly recommend
• Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and only one step to property, Inside depending what floor your on there are a few steps but nothing to worry about. Apartment was large had everything you needed, fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom with shower. Couldnt fault the place. Easy to get around in old town and back to your location and everything is walking distance.
