- SERGIO (10/5): Sabato a Napoli - Ppsizione centrale e accoglienza
Nada a ascrecentar.

- Georgii (8/5): Smart hotel in the historic center of Naples - The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of a historic building, a nice view from the window. The large room, there is a kettle, refrigerator (weak), air condition. You can drink a coffee. All the interesting sites, museums went on foot. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. Very nice hotel stuff. Uncomfortable bed. High threshold shower cab - be careful!
🤍Very good location. Nice staff. 🤍Great location. Close to many historical sites. Friendly staff. 🤍Breakfast spoils the pleasant impression of the hotel. Better without it.
- Max (9/5): A lovely gem of a property, right in the heart of active Naples - Fantastic location, right in the centre of where you probably want to be for a short trip to Naples.
Probably the world’s smallest lift. Not much really. Slightly crazy frontage, you’re really not sure you are in the right place. But once thru the front door/gate it opens up into a wonderful courtyard.
- Glenda (10/5): The staff made us feel very welcome and they were very helpful - I love the artwork. The location was fabulous and the staff was even better. Would recommend this to anyone. Location in the staff
- Donatelli (10/5): -
- Angela (7/5): -
- Anders Hedegaard (9/5): - Meget charmerende
- Lynne (4/5): Disappointed - Location was perfect for exploring the area Breakfast was poor and basic
Rooms were very dated and in need of refurbishment
Mattresses old and uncomfortable and need replacing
Noisy - could hear other guests in their rooms
- Luana (6/5): -
- Pat (9/5): - Loved the location, room was small but clean and comfortable.
The staff were very nice and breakfast was good 👍 Going into the building at night.
The whole floor is dark as all lights are off, hallway lights are activated by motion detectors so feels a little creepy.
- Wienand (6/5): - Location good. High up. Spacious rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Solid breakfast. Fridge broken. No ice. Beds uncomfortable.
- tekla (10/5): Ein unglaublich tolles Zimmer mitten in Salerno! Alles perfekt!
- tekla (9/5): Sehr gute Lage und sehr herzliche Mitarbeitende!! - Super Zimmer mit viel Charme!! Alles bestens!!
- Tara (10/5): - Great property, unique and charming, if you’re looking for an ultra modern stay, may not be the property for you. If you want a stay in a cool property in lots of history in a perfect location.. this one is a winner!! The hospitality is amazing!
Piacevolissimo soggiorno.
- Albert (8/5): Will revisit if we decide to spend time in Naples again. - Nothing special to note about th breakfast but location is excellent.
- Stirek (10/5): Italy Trip - Cute room and close to everything. Had breakfast for me even though I had to leave early. Made a special effort to accommodate me. Much appreciated. As this was our last night in Naples, we did not have much time to explore. Wish we had an extra day or 2.
- Brianna (8/5): - This year we returned to stay at Maison Degas again. The two times we have stayed have both been very pleasant. The hotel is on the third floor in the back of the building and our room had a view of the quiet courtyard. The staff at Maison Degas always go above and beyond to ensure that our needs are met- they are kind and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is tasty and coffee fresh. The neighborhood is central, with a great vibe and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I highly recommend a stay at this place.
- Timothy (10/5): Amazing stay in one of the heritage buildings in the city! - The property staff was extremely helpful in everything and they were very kind to provide me with my breakfast preferences too! Also the view from my room was excellent! I don't get to open the AC anymore due to the amazing cool weather just by opening the huge windows.
Overall it's a beautiful heritage property. I will most certainly come back and stay here in the future!
I don't see anything regarding security but I can assure you, your valuables are secured in this property.
Thank you for making my Naples trip such a delightful and memorable one.
- Lemon (8/5): Naples is well worth a visit as is a day trip to Capri. Restaurants excellent - Lovely small hotel in a beautiful old building and in a great location - lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby and just a 20 minute walk to the port, where you can catch a ferry to Capri or Ischia Breakfast was pretty basic but I'd have been happy with room only as there were lots of options nearby
- Linda (8/5): We had a great stay, it was such a good location and enjoyed staying in Degas House with the nostalgia around this - Quirky historical property and if staff make the hotel this is true for Maison Degas the staff are lovely and very welcoming. Not much, breakfast offering could be improved a little more cereals maybe
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Even with information given it was difficult to find in the dark
- Maurice (6/5): a place to sleep, bars and cafes close by and excellent tours - the location is very central to port, bus terminal for sight seeing tours and the busy square for cafes and bars for people watching. staff had poor English. breakfast could be a lot better- when you ask for boiled eggs you expect them to be warm and not boiled the night before. It is very obvious that they do not want any food waste
- Besik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good - Superb location in the hustle and bustle of the historical area close to main stations. Clean and comfortable rooms , nothing too much trouble. A lovely welcome drink and pastry on arrival and delicious fresh breakfast.
- Glakho (10/5): - Very nice staff and cool concept for the hotel, facilities were clean as well as the towels and linens provided
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Igor (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (10/5): Great little hotel, fabulous location. - Very nice family run small hotel. Very accommodating and comfortable. Amazing location in the Historical centre of Naples. Located in a bustling square, yet very quiet inside the hotel. Would come back,
- Andrea (8/5): Very good - Loved the location, and the rustic and historic environment. Staff are helpful, the room was clean and there was enough space in an Economy room if doing a central stay on a budget. Great value for money. Breakfast is fine to grab something quickly and go out. Personally I prefer the charm of somewhere like this than a soulless large hotel. Shower is a little too large for the dimensions of the cubicle with a big step up into and out of it so be careful. Although when using the shower it is fully functional. Trying to find ten cents to use the lift to 3rd floor when your legs are so very tired 😆.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Maison Degas is a charming little hotel tucked into a lively square. Its location in the old part of Naples can't be beat.
The room was comfortable, the breakfast very accommodating, and the staff terrific. We would definitely stay again
- Suzanne (10/5): A Delightful Stay in a Historic Palazzo - What a wonderful place to stay in Naples. The hosts were very welcoming, with excellent communication before our stay, and with a wonderful greeting when we arrived. They helped arrange transport from the airport to the hotel and again on leaving, from the hotel to the airport. The location was excellent, with so many cafes, bistros, restaurants, etc., in close proximity and a street market full of local vendors nearby. It was easy to walk to many of the piazzas and enjoy the sights, the energy and the food. The rooms were large, comfortable, well-equipped, with a large ensuite bathroom and all the amenities. The breakfast was awesome. Everything about the place was well-run, clean, and guest-centered. I would highly recommend this charming B&B to all.
- Leon (10/5): Great spot very close to the Spanish quater and short walk to everything you want to see - Close location, large 2.bedrooms for family of 4.
Staff were very helpful
- Laura (8/5): Great location for visiting Centro Storico area of Naples. - The location was fantastic! Right in the Centre Storico area for fantastic walking to restaurants and sightseeing. Also walkable to ferry port for day trips to the islands. Staff was friendly and breakfast was substantial. Personal preference entirely, but my son and I found beds to be uncomfortably firm. If you like extra firm mattresses you won’t have any problems.
- Max (4/5): Don’t think this type of property should be on Booking dot com - Not much Worst bed and bedding ever
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good - Location was super convenient and right in the middle of tourist hotspot. Owner and hotel staff were super helpful and friendly Lift is small and very old. Works only with 10 cents everytime you need to use it. My kids accidentally pressed wrong buttons, and we had to put coins multiple times to reach the ground floor. There is a single keychain holding all the keys. The air conditioning can only be turned on by using the key, so if your family wants to stay back at the room while you need to get dinner downstairs, you cant enter the building if the staff isnt available. So don’t forget to get extra pair of keys
- John (9/5): Great location, unique experience! - The people running this are really helpful and kind. The location is quite good— just down the street were so many amazing places to eat and things to see, etc. Getting up to the room requires several keys and navigating but in a way it made the experience more fun and memorable. Our contact, Antonio, was helpful in recommending places to eat and making sure we had taxis waiting for us. It made our Naples visit magical.
- Dóra (9/5): Superb - Everyone was very nice, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a family. The location is very good, near to the metro and the Spaccanapoli.
- Alexandra (8/5): We enjoyed the stay , very central and confortable room. - The hotel is very well located, right in the historic center. The room was very spacious and clean, facing the main plaza., The bed very confortable. You could here no noise whatsoever from the outside . The furniture was not my favourite.
- Barbara (10/5): Amazing experience - It was a great experience, and even arriving in the afternoon, we received a delicious and welcoming coffee (local pastries were offered to us). The staff shared the curious information that the painter Degas had been living in that building for a long time, and that's why the hotel's name became Rate Maison Degas. In addition, the building itself is a genuine experience for those who love Art and heritage-listed buildings. The staff was also amazing and provided great support and references to us. Nothing. Except by the fact that I should stay longer and enjoy better the places and the local people.
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional - everything was perfect! this is in a historic building a palace that is converted to a hotel. the staff were amazing- anna helped us with our every need. both professional and empathetic. ill definitely be back on my next visit to naples
- Lam (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel location was central to city attractions. The staff was very accommodating and friendly! Anna, the manager, was most helpful and courtesy. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best experience we could have. The breakfasts were superb. We will be back! The courtyard main entrance is not easily recognized as being Hotel Maison Degas, and the exterior to the courtyard door was unsightly.
- Lorena (6/5): Fine for a short stay. - Excellent location. Great reception. Room was fine; clean; not modern or updated. Twin bed was fine; double bed not comfortable. Bathroom clean but not stocked well. Pull-out sofa not used as a bed; covered with a sofa-cover, but old.
Decent continental breakfast. Mattresses.
- Ronald (8/5): - People were nice... an issue with drainage in one shower
- Lesley (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant - Location is perfect for seeing the old and new towns. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was very basic.
- Luke (8/5): - Convenient location.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Dumitru (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moshe (10/5): Cozy place, clean with a large room and great staff, not mentioning the great breakfast. - Cozy place, clean with a large room and great staff, not mentioning the great breakfast. Dora was one of kind 😀, she contact me as soon as I got off my flight to register my car plate and then, once we arrive, she took an initiative to spent the time with us to introduce the main sites around and gave us recommendation on great restaurants.
- Valentina (9/5): Amazing experience, very food service and excellent breakfast. - The breakfast was amazing. The lady in charge was very attentive, nice and could answer all of our questions. She helped us find out how to get around the city and gave us tips on where to go visit. We loved that we could use the air conditioning as we wished, so at night we could lower it as to not be cold. For breakfast, she asked the day before what pastry we wanted from a selection. Coffee is available with lactose-free milk if you need it. The only thing we found odd (but understandible since it’s al old building) is that to get to the third floor, you must take an old elevator. You put 10 cents in, and it takes you up. The hotel supplies the coins, so that’s no issue, but we had the misfortune of getting there on a day that it wasn’t working. The lady at the checking in section had to help us take the suitcases up 3 floors…
- Jaime (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (9/5): I would return to Maison Degas whenever in Naples. - Maison Degas is located in a beautiful, historic square. The views from the windows of the statues and historic buildings is great! The hotel itself is in an historic building. Also, Dora and Dario who took care of us during our stay and when reserving our room, were both very friendly and professional! The air conditioning, when turned on needs a higher setting to cool room faster.
- Damian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Narelle (10/5): Will be back! - Service does not get any better than Dora. We arrived hot and tired and she made us drinks and snacks and was so lovely. She also organised an early morning car to the airport and left out some breakfast for us.
The hotel was great! Only problem was we only stayed one night. We'll definitely stay here again when we return to Naples. Nothing. Everything was perfect!
- christian (6/5): - Staff molto simpatico e disponibile. Posizione ottima e stabile storico moltp bello
- Shoubhik (3/5): Poor value of the high cost that the hotel charges .Needs major updating of the facilities. - The staff especially Dora was very helpful and she did organise our early morning breakfast and taxi .The other staff at the hotel were also very courteous and helpful. So for the price paid ,the quality was very poor .
1.Beds and the mattress were of very poor quality
2.Linen was ok
3.The bathroom was very fatty and need updating .
4.The air condition was very bad and it was hardly working optimally .
5.The location was ok but the property looked very shabby and dirty.
Even though the people were nice I would never stay at this place because of the very poor facilities..
- Anonymous (5/5): Not as advertised. - The location was perfect and the beds were nice. You had to pay for the lift and it was super tiny.
- L (9/5): Super Budget Friendly Hotel - Great budget hotel. Super friendly staff, excellent location and comfortable rooms with a really good hot shower. Breakfast with delicious pastries and good coffee was included in the price. Highly recommended.
- Marco (8/5): Cosy accomodation at a great location - Location was great Authentic old building so bathroom had its limitations, in particular the built-in device that 'grinds' the water before letting it flush into the sewage system is kind of noisy at night (but only when someone uses the bathroom though). Note that it is not really a hotel: late check-in was not ideal and breakfast is modest.
- Amanda (5/5): A bit scary to be honest - This is a tricky one. The staff were really nice and helpful but the property is a bit intimidating. It is on the third floor of an old palazzo which lies behind 30ft high graffitied gates which are locked at night and which feature a smaller door with a Yale lock through which guests can come and go. The lift is in the courtyard and you need a 10c coin to operate it - which is weird and slightly inconvenient even though the hotel gives you a few of them in your room. The room we were given was a suite - two rooms (one double and one twin) and two bathrooms. Firstly, I assume this suite might be given to people with children. If you do choose it, for God's sake lock the window in the twin. It opens completely and the sill is at around thigh height making a fall to the courtyard 100 feet below a real possibility. The whole place is decorated with the paintings and sayings of Degas, but the bathrooms - whilst clean - were old and tatty and the beds not very comfortable at all. Lastly, there was no fire escape at all/
- Alessia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krzysztof (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely good breakfast; wonderful personnel; really nice :) Close to main street city center, etc. 10 cent 4lift ... interesting solution .... in north Italy have not experienced that
- Christine (9/5): We would stay here again - The location could not have been better. It was easy to get transportation and food right in the piazza! There were interesting shops, churches, historical places within walking distance.
- Angelina (8/5): NAPLES IN A WEEKEND - THE LOCATION IS SUPER,VERY CENTRAL!THE SUITE IS VERY SPACIOUS WITH TWO SEPERATE ROOMS!THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO GIVE INFORMATION.I WOULD LIKE THANK DARIO FOR HIS HOSPITALITY! THE WALLS OF THE BATH NEED A REFRESH BECAUSE THEY ARE MOULDY AND SMEELL.
ALSO THE BREAKFAST WAS POOR!
