• Ema (5/5): The place doesn’t meet my expectations. - The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The location was good. There was no daylight in the room. The small window looked to a garden of a restaurant and it was very loudly. The shower area in the bathroom was pretty dirty. There was mold.
• Clementina (1/5): Pessimo. - Disponibilità a fare un check in anticipato alle 13.30 invece che alle 15. Partendo dal fatto che è un posto qualunque, come nelle foto, l’ingresso squallido, pieno di sacchi di biancheria accatastati al muro. Il portone di ingresso mezzo distrutto. Le camere ok. Rispetto ad altre strutture mi hanno chiesto la tassa di soggiorno in contanti ed essendo A Roma per lavoro la dovevo pagare con carta, come faccio abitualmente sempre. Mi hanno detto che avrebbero fatto un’eccezione. Dovevo fare un bonifico, ma dato che ero di fretta ho chiesto al ragazzo che presiede la struttura di prenderlo pure dalla carta come la tariffa per il soggiorno che avevo già pagato. Ha detto che andava bene dato che avevo lasciato tutti i dati. Credo che non parlasse bene l’italiano e non fosse avvezzo. Comunque alla fine devo procedere ad un bonifico extra attraverso la mia amministrazione. Ma non è questo il problema. Io sicuramente ho fatto uno sbaglio in buona fede. Il gestore o la gestrice, che non si è tra l’altro mai presentato via Whatapp mi ha da subito trattato con sufficienza e impazienza, fin dal primo messaggio. Che ovviamente ho conservato. I toni davvero scortesi e ingiovevoli, assolutamente non adatti a chi fa accoglienza. Io ovviamente mi sono scusata subito dicendo che appena la mia amministrazione pagherà la tassa di soggiorno (il giorno dopo) invierò la distinta, ma comunque il tono è rimasto tale. Ho davvero molta esperienza nel settore e posso assicurare che se ogni cliente che sbaglia e che si scusa venisse trattato così non ci sarebbero più alberghi.
• Annalisa (8/5): Una grande sorpresa!!! Bellissima camera . - La posizione era ottima , avevamo scelto Trastevere per vivere l’anima autentica e vivace di Roma. La camera era veramente bella e grande , noi eravamo in 3 ed era molto funzionale. Un’altra cosa che ci ha stupiti è la comodità del letto, che non è scontato. Un plauso va sicuramente anche al ragazzo che si occupa della colazione e delle pulizie , super gentile ! L’unica cosa che rivedrei sono i soffioni della doccia , completamente tappati dal calcare

• Bill (9/5): Perfect location! - 1. Phenomenal location 2. Staff were all very friendly and helpful 3. The room was nice and clean and comfortable 4. Plenty of hot water for shower and good water pressure 5. Refrigerator in the room 6. The breakfast was a standard Italian version (coffee/espresso or juice with a cornetto, sweet bread, & a few fruits). It was good! Would have been nice if yogurt was also an option, but alas... 1. Not replenishing towels (you may have to pay extra for getting fresh towels upon request). For the current room price, this seems like something that should be built into the rate.

Prijs - kwaliteit zeker de moeite. - Schitterende locatie: op loopafstand van de belangrijke monumenten, gebouwen, leuke wijken, bezienswaardigheden. Gelegen aan de rand van de bruisende Trasteverewijk, zodat nachtlawaai miniem was. Slechts 5 minuten stappen naar de Ponte Sisto. Kamer en badkamer waren proper. Inchecken verliep moeizaam omdat er geen receptie is, maar dat wisten we op voorhand. Men had gevraagd om 1 dag op voorhand te laten weten wanneer we wilden inchecken, wat we ook gedaan hebben. Helaas was er niemand aanwezig. Telefonisch kregen we geen contact. Plots dook er wel iemand op met een sleutel. Hij toonde ons de kamer en inde de toeristentaks. Diezelfde persoon bleek ook poetsman en ober bij het ontbijt. Dit ontbijt omschrijf ik - naar onze normen - als karig: gesuikerde croissant, plakjes uitgedroogde cake, een taartpunt, yoghurt en een stuk appel of sinaasappel. Typisch Romeins ontbijt dus, volledig naar onze verwachting.

• monica (7/5): Comoda soluzione per Trastevere - Cercavamo una soluzione comoda a Trastevere e questa era proprio nel cuore. Camera comunque silenziosa e pulita con facile check-in e tutto l'occorrente. La camera è un po' buia e le scale non sono molto comode per fortuna avevamo solo degli zaini
• DEBORAH (3/5): Deludente - La posizione I cuscini del letto avevano odore e sono stata costretta a mettere una maglietta sopra per poter dormire, il vetro della doccia era particolarmente difficile da aprire, l’acqua nel lavandino non scendeva, le lampadine erano bruciate e mi è stata portata una lampada piena di polvere. Colazione inesistente . Non c’era neppure un pezzo di pane .

Something could be done about the mold around the shower tiles and the caulking around the shower. The breakfast was sparse. Fruit offered was old... only wrinkled apples and oranges available. We had to buy our own fruit from the vendor around the corner. Location was great, though very lively and loud at night. Good soundproof windows helped alot!

La reserva era.para 8 y una semana antes una pasajera tuvo un imprevisto grave, esto fue comunicado tanto al hotel como a booking, solo quería que me devolvieran el el importe de esa reserva, y para ellos ya era tarde. Pero cuando.llegamos al hotel habían puesto 7 camas. Y encima nos cobraron los impuestos, cuando también ofreci el importe de esa reserva para cubrir ese importe. Atención pésima. Cuando llegamos al hotel no había nadie y enviamos la documentación a la mañana temprano, motivo por el cual el dueño amenazó llamar a la policia, un desprolijo Las escaleras super incómodas no apto para personas de edad o con discapacidad.

Il sistema di apertura con codice non funziona (da tempo pare) e ho rischiato di rimanere in strada se non fosse stato per una cliente che mi ha fatto entrare (e che non osava uscire per paura di non poter rientrare). Non ero stato informato del problema nei precedenti contatti con il proprietario. Telefonando una volta entrato al proprietario mi e' stato suggerito un modo non troppo ortodosso per recuperare una chiave nascosta che mi ha permesso di aprire la serratura della porta di entrata durante il mio soggiorno.

• Carolina (10/5): Great service and location. - Location was excelent, right in the heart of Trastevere, but without any noise or traffic. And the taxi was able to leave us right at the entrance. Plus the owner was kind enough to let us check in very early in the morning since our room was ready. We were greeted by Joel he was very friendly and also they lady that prepared our breakfast the next morning was very nice.

• Marco (6/5): For city center lovers only - We liked the location. The room itself was in line to its price. Lack of any facility, including the reception. Breakfast was average italian bar quality.
• Agustina (7/5): Its a solid 7, maybe 8 if you get a further room. - The room was big, big bed, space to put away luggage, the bathroom was big and it had hot/cold aircon. Plus the location is great. Comfy pillows. Breakfast included which is a bonus. Communication with the place was tricky, they only provided check in instructions at 2pm. The shower had fungus. Our room was inside the breakfast place, only separated by a door, which meant we were woken up but everyone having breakfast since 7:30am. They told us they had a spot to leave our luggage after check out since our flight was at night, but they didnt actually have anywhere to leave the suitcases. Some of the food from breakfast was old and stiff/dry.

• Christine (1/5): Unwürdig - Die Lage ist gut, zwar mitten im quirligen Viertel Trastevere, also sehr laut, aber das weiss man vorher. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu erreichen. Der Aufenthalt war unter aller Würde. Extrem schmutzig, nicht nur wegen einer Baustelle im Haus, sondern von Grund auf. Das Bad hat seit Jahren weder einen Entkalker, noch eine Instandhaltung erfahren. Hier kann man keinen entspannten Urlaub machen. Das Frühstück bestand lediglich aus einem Croissant und Kaffee aus der Tüte (und das in Italien!), serviert von einer unmotivierten Servicekraft. Der junge Mann war noch nicht mal in der Lage ein Taxi zu rufen! Der Türcode hat nur sporadisch funktioniert, der gesamte Eingangsbereich komplett eingestaubt, und verdreckt. Der Aufenthalt in diesem Haus war eine einzige Zumutung!

Ne ho parlato con il personale e mi è stato risposto che le persone alle 7 si svegliano per visitare la città! Sinceramente in città ci ho vissuto e la mia idea di una notte a roma è per divertimento e se ho la possibilità di lasciare la stanza alle 11 perché dovrei svegliarmi alle 7?

Die Bettdecke hatte grosse Schmutzflecken und Frühstück ist eher spärlich (selbst für italienische Verhältnisse). Einige Zimmer (zum Glück nicht unseres) öffnen sich direkt ins Frühstückraum. Am ersten Tag gab es Probleme mit warmen Wasser. Duschen war nicht möglich.

• Mona (4/5): Stedet trenger oppussing. - Beliggenheten er fin . Et lite og sentralt overnattingssted i Trastevere. Har bodd der flere ganger tidligere og vært fornøyd. Dessverre var standarden blitt dårligere, gang og oppholdsrom trenger oppgradering, ukomfortabel madrass- baderom som trengte oppussing mm. Det var støy fra restauranter selv fra rom plassert på baksiden av huset. Eier/ personalet var ikke åpen for klage , men forsvarte seg istedenfor å innse feil og mangler.

• Rcalpe (6/5): Estancia en el trastevere (Roma) - Había aire acondicionado en las habitaciones, televisión bastante grande y pese a haber un bar justo debajo, el ruido no nos molestó para dormir por las noches. En las habitaciones hay hervidor de agua, infusiones y jabón y toallas. Está en el trastevere, a unos 20 minutos andando del centro y otros 20 del Vaticano. El agua caliente no iba bien. El desayuno nos pareció escaso, poco variado y de poca calidad. El personal se trata de solamente un chico que no hacía ni siquiera el esfuerzo de entender el Español, o italiano o inglés, pero se portó muy bien. Las habitaciones también las limpia todas este mismo chico que nos sirvió el desayuno. Las tasas turísticas no nos avisaron que teníamos que pagarlas en efectivo, por lo que fue una sorpresa un poco desagradable para el chico que nos atendía y para nosotros. Estas cosas hay que especificarlas bien antes.

• Monique (1/5): Don't stay here - Location We had issues immediately. Everything for checking and communication was done through WhatsApp. Upon arrival our air conditioning was not working properly. I messaged through WhatsApp with no response. We left the room for a few hours for dinner and when we came back there were small bugs on the bed and the air conditioner was still not working. I messaged again about the bugs and the air conditioning, I even included pictures. The only response I got was about the air conditioning and to repeatedly click a button on the remote. It was 100° during our visit. We went to take showers the first night and had no hot water. Again I messaged with no response. I repeatedly messaged about the bugs and no hot water throughout the weekend with no response. I don't believe that there are any actual people on site running the hotel.
• Marko (3/5): Poor - The breakfast included only croissants , the door did not work (we were stuck getting out until a local waiter helped us), the wi-fi was also quite poor. There actually is no staff present. If something is wrong you can try your luck reaching the manager through whatsapp.

• Ainslie (7/5): Good - Basic but well appointed and clean rooms. Breakfast is pretty much what you'd need to get the day started - pastries, coffee, juice, yoghurt and fruit. Excellent location in the heart of Trastevere - loads of places to eat and drink at very reasonable prices all around. The shower was terrible - temperature all over the place and the shower head was crusted over with limescale. And I'm not sure what was going on during my last night but there was a huge amount of noise in the hallway outside my room for a couple of hours in the early hours of the morning. Though apart from that it was pretty quiet.

• Eric (5/5): Disappointing, simple things didn't work, landlord unresponsive - Location is excellent, if we visit Rome again we'll stay in the same area (Trastevere). Had to walk three blocks from the main office to where we were staying, on cobblestone streets, hauling & rolling all of our luggage after 8 hour flight, with no assistance whatsoever from the host. Just bad form. If we had known, we would have been prepared for this, but had no idea. Once arriving at the room, WIFI did NOT work. Reached out to the landlord immediately after troubleshooting it myself (I'm an IT guy) but NEVER heard back from them. Especially an issue because we had just arrived from the US and we needed WIFI to get our phones switched over to the local provider. MAJOR issue that was COMPLETELY IGNORED by the host. In addition, several electrical outlets simply did not work (yes, checked all the switches, not switched) which was just inconvenient. An additional inconvenience was that several lights were not working, including the single light in the shower. Again, not a huge deal, just sloppiness and lack of care but disappointing nevertheless. Finally, bathroom water heater had been installed but never finished so big chunk of wall missing with pipes exposed. Again, not a super-huge deal but, with the other issues, showed a general lack of attention. Noticed I didn't see a picture of this in the promotional shots of the room (I included a picture here). Once again, alone, not that big of a deal but with all of the other big & little issues, a real letdown. Overall, very frustrating first experience in Italy for us and very, very glad we only stayed two nights. By the way, every single other place we stayed during our two week trip to Italy was fantastic!!
