Hotel has many restaurant's in the surrounding areas. Thereare 3 close convenient stores. lawson , family mart and 7 eleven. Lawson is across from the hotel and family mart around the corner of the hotel. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel are very clean and rooms are very spacious.the hotel offers great breakfast offering varieties of options. I would stay in this hotel again.
Kate (8/5): - What a great location. So close to the subway, and with a 7-11, Lawsons and FamilyMart all right nearby this was a great way to start and end our days. The room had a view of the Kamejima River which was lovely, and the rooms were very spacious. Traveling as a family of 4 we had to book 2 rooms. Unfortunately they don’t have interconnecting rooms, but they did give us side-by-side rooms on request. Staff weren’t quite as welcoming as other hotels that we stayed at, but were able to help with luggage storage and power adapters (note that they don’t have usb charging ports). Beds and pillows weren’t fantastic but we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend for the convenience of location.

Nicola (10/5): - This hotel was an excellent base for our stay in Tokyo and our favourite of our whole stay in Japan. In a lovely area with lots of restaurants around and ease to jump on the metro to take you to other parts of Tokyo. The area is clean and quite quiet which was a welcome break from the busyness of well visited areas. Premium room had lots of space and was very comfortable for 3 of us. A nearby Denny's diner was perfect for a reasonable breakfast (cheaper than hotel breakfast). I highly recommend this hotel for location, comfort and helpful staff.
CLAUDIA MENDEZ (10/5): - Great room with lots of space compared to other hotels in Tokyo. Staff is super helpful and always have a great attitude. Clean and breakfast has both Eastern and Western food. Having access to laundry will make my return home less stressful with all my clothes returning clean home. Location is perfect too walking distance to Hatchobori subway station makes the hotel very accessible.

William (6/5): Not the worst, but not the best - This hotel is definitely dated with its fit and finish. My two issues with this hotel were the AC and bathroom. When we first got to the room it was supper hot as our room was south facing at it was a very worm day. The AC was only in Japanese and there was nothing in the room to explain how to use it (not a great first impression). As for the bathroom there were two things. The tub would creak very loudly with every movement you made and the other was with how the plumbing all ran into the floor drain.

Millie (10/5): - Absolutely loved staying here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and had great attention to detail. The area felt safe and there were many transportation options: Tokyo Station was a short walk away, the metro was an even shorter walk away, there was a bus stop nearby and many taxis in the area. The sound of traffic could get a little loud at times, but it’s a big city so that’s to be expected. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to subways stations so you never have to walk or carry belongings far. Convinies right around the corner for snacks. Overall amazing stay and would return again. Linda (10/5): Huge comfortable rooms - Sardonyx Hotel Tokyo rooms are big! Highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay. Denny’s which is a stone’s throw away served a value for money breakfast and we ate there for the 3 days we were there. Hatchibori Metro station Exit 4 is next to Denny’s. If you take this exit, it will bring you to the platform to go to Ueno where you can take the Skyliner Express to Narita Airport. However, you will need to negotiate quite a few stairs and there are no elevator except at Exit 2.
Elizabeth (6/5): - Had corner rooms during two separate stays recently (606 & 306) Large room and window able to open which was nice and has view of canal. Second stay the room smelled like someone had smoked in there but perhaps just a heavy smoker. Not anything fancy for sure but didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Not a lot of traffic at night so could sleep with window open. Higher floor better. Good buffet breakfast in connected restaurant.

Able to control the temperature in the room. Other than a closet, there was limited space to unpack. But overall, we really liked this hotel and would defnitely return.

It was clean and comfortable enough just a tad cosy and not the best style/layout. Overall price was okay compared to other hotels in Tokyo but you don’t get much for your money in Tokyo unfortunately. Fine for a work trip or casual holiday but probably not the place for a special occasion.

Handy coin-operated laundry facility. Breakfast buffet was mediocre offering many options but Denny’s across the street offered great options at half the price.

Convenience stores are in almost every corner nearby, and Hatchobori station is within a 1 minute walk. Easily walkable to Ginza and Tokyo Station also. The facilities themselves are somewhat dated now, but very comfortable overall and staff were excellent.

The toilet and bathroom were very dirty and old, and the corners of the room were full of dirt and garbage, and we canceled the stay after one night. And we went to another hotel

The hotel is very clean and quiet and the front desk staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. There is also a subway stop less than a 5 minute walk away so it’s easy to get anywhere in the city. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend it!

aditi (10/5): - Had an amazing 5 night stay at this hotel. Its just across JR and subway station, so very convenient to reach all parts of Tokyo within 15-20 mins. They provide all amenities, so no need to worry about toiletries, grooming kits, etc. 24 hour reception. Staff was very accomodating and polite. Took care of our luggage before check-in and after check out. They went an extra mile for us after we forgot some valuable items in the room by arranging different options for us to get back the items. When our acquaintance could not pick up the items, they communicated with their hotel and sent it across immediately. Really very helpful and patient.

Anna (10/5): - Our stay at Hotel Sardonyx was perfect for our intro to Tokyo. Our flight got in late so we arrived after midnight. I had contacted them ahead of time so I knew they had a 24 hour desk, which saved a lot of stress. The location was not in the heart of things but we had a beautiful view of the river and if we craned our neck to the left we could see the sky tree. There’s a metro station just across the street, so getting to other places in Tokyo was easy. We had a lovely day walking along the river up to Ueno Park to see the cherry blossoms and the next day we were able to walk to Tokyo station. We were able to send most of our things straight to Hiroshima so we didn’t have a lot to carry. The front desk was super helpful with everything. Our room had three large twins that were perfect for the three of us, and while the mattress was hard it was still comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to people.

Rokiah (10/5): - Room is spacious for 2pax. Staff are attentive and helpful. Love the location as it was a few mins walk to 2 train station. Close to Tokyo station. 711, Family Mart and Lawson are next and across the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

Drew (10/5): Great central hotel - Hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Centrally located to a major station that can get you anywhere and not far from Tokyo station. Overall great choice!

Wei Wen (8/5): 4 nights stay - Convenient location with close subway lines few minutes walk away and the main tokyo station is around 20+ min walk away (or 3 stops by bus). The hotel is a little dated, and the lifts and corridors on some levels sometimes smells of cigarettes. Room was spacious enough, comfy for a couple stay.

Wina (8/5): - Hotel is close to metro and Tokyo Station and is in an area that is reasonably quiet with 3 different convenience stores around the corners. Staff were helpful and polite. Room was clean.
K (10/5): Would choose this again - We stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and liked it just as much this time round. It is very comfortable and in a convenient location for exploring Tokyo, being very close to the metro and a 15 minute walk from Tokyo Station.

Randall (10/5): - We have stayed at this property several times over 40 years (it was once a Holiday Inn!) and although the present renovation is sparkling and nice, the neighborhood is still its best feature although it too has changed dramatically over 40 years. Service and price are still outstanding,
