• Wayne (10/5): Thanks for making our stay feel like home to us - We chose this hotel because we were staying for 3 weeks and wanted to cook our own meals. Not only was that possible but the location was fantastic with a 7 eleven next door and a 24 hr grocery store also next store. It is a few minutes walk to the BTS and getting around the city from here is so affordable. And so many malls nearby. We would stay here again on any future visit. We can't think of anything we didn't like about our stay.
• Erwin58 (7/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man ist schnell an der BTS. Zweckmässige Ausstattung, bequemes Bett. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Fenster zur Sukhumvit. Die Hauptstrasse ist deutlich zu hören und natürlich bis lange in die Nacht laut.

• Shaniel (7/5): Arawana Hotel BK - Perfect location, great for a budget stay, friendly staff and next to 711 and Tops grocery. Also got room service everyday, free water and fresh towels was great. The room itself was decent level of cleanliness, but could be better taken care of.

There was a leak coming from our sink and while they came to check it out they couldn’t fix it because it would take too much time, which isn’t their fault but I would’ve appreciated changing rooms.

I was gonna hop into bed, found hair and dust on the bedsheet. They changed the room for me but it is still questionable about the routine cleaning. Bedsheets and other laundry are old, appears uncleaned with stain. The room is much older and unkempt comparing to the photos. There are approx. 1m or less distance from queen-size bed to the side walls.

• Gau100 (2/5): Scam - I booked a room in Arawana express Phromphong. They were doing maintenance work in the floors below, it was noisy. The room didn't look like the pictures I saw at all. I didn't get any description of the room on my receipt. I can see that the same scam happened to other guests on the other reviews. There was a dusty bad smell in the room, it also smelled cigarettes. The labourers smoke and listened to loud music. One member of the laughed at me. Finally, they gave me another room in their other basement after I complained. But it was an attempt of scam, disgraceful.

• moignkhawaja (8/5): Rocky start but a good thorough stay - Had a good stay of 6 days thanks to very courteous staff and room service. The location is really ideal and many landmarks are accessible. For the price I paid it’s very reasonable. Will come again if an opportunity rises.

• Khawaja (9/5): Perfect 6-day stay for a very good price - I have to say the staff was very courteous and friendly. Initially I was in a different room than I booked but after speaking to Tan at the reception I was taken care of very well and moved to the room that I had booked. She’s a helpful girl and sorted all the issues immediately with a smile. The hotel is really close to the BTS station and nearby many good restaurants, convenience store and massage centres. It’s bit of an old place and needs an upgrade.

Old, tired, dirty and the bed sheets were still damp. I booked for three nights but left after one. I was refused a refund. Avoid this place.

• Explorer55499749704 (2/5): 衛生環境真的很無語….. - 職員是友善但衛生環境就真的很無語….. 入住當天發現房間還可以，但第二天進房的時候，發現地下有一包已開的餅乾，之後發現另一盒餅乾有比動物咬過的痕跡，於是我們立即到reception要求換房。 當天職員告知我們飯店沒有其他房間，在我們強烈的要求之下，職員跟我們上房檢查。就當我們進房準備開燈的時候，直接看到有一隻老鼠衝向洗手間方向逃走。 職員有再進房檢查，但老鼠已逃走。其後職員說可以安排我們住進另外一間房間，但我們已對該飯店失去信心，因此決定即日搬走並要求退回餘下的3晚房租。當時職員跟我們說他會回報給經理知並也要求我們向飯店平台反映。 最後經過Trip.com申訴等了四天後，飯店方拒絕我們的退款申請，原因是因為對方已提出可以轉換房間給我們，但我們拒絕所以不接受我們的退款申請。🙂 The staff were friendly, but the hygiene was truly speechless... On the day of check-in, the room seemed okay, but when we entered the room on the second day, we found an opened package of cookies on the floor. Later, we discovered another box of cookies with what appeared to be animal bites. We immediately went to reception to request a room change. The staff informed us that there were no other rooms available. After our strong insistence, the staff went up to the room with us to inspect. As we entered the room and prepared to turn on the light, we directly saw a rat running towards the bathroom. The staff checked the room again, but the rat had already escaped. Afterwards, the staff said they could arrange for us to stay in another room, but we had already lost confidence in the hotel, so we decided to move out immediately and requested a refund for the remaining 3 nights. At that time, the staff told us that they would report it to the manager and also asked us to report it to the hotel platform. Finally, after waiting four days after appealing through Trip.com, the hotel refused our refund request, because they had offered to change rooms for us, but we refused, so they would not accept our refund request. 🙂
• Winch (7/5): I would stay there again. - The Arawana is good, because of its close proximity to Phrom Phong BTS (300m) and TOPS supermarket (50m). The room is small, but well equipped with Microwave oven, cooking utensiles, plates, cups, etc. We subsequently stayed 40 m from Aruwana, at the 41 Suites Hotel. Prices were similar, but the quality of 41 was a much higher level, and we suspect the prices will rise when sufficient people know about this gem. Arawana is in an old building, but it is very convenient.

All of facility as TV is broken, and Shower is so terrible, and the shower sink was jammed completely with many somebody’s hairs. The worst one is the toilet smell in bed room. My nose was almost paralyzed all day. But the staff is kind.

• Yasser (7/5): Good - It's located in a very good area, close to BTS station, and TOP24 convenient store is a few steps away, you can find a plenty of Asian restaurants in the neighborhood. My room was quiet nevertheless the window was toward a crowded street. The Top24 is always open day a night, the little kitchen unit is very handy in this case. WIFI was ok, i had a day remote working from there. connection had some hiccups, like anywhere from my experience. The facilities looks a bit ou dated, but okayish.

• Thambiah (4/5): Bad stay ever but some how managed - only good thing is location is near to BTS train. we were staying room no 2303 with wife and baby for 5 nights in the room type queen deluxe room with kitchen, the room was very narrow like pet cage, the first day we found hot water not coming and complain to hotel manger , one guy immediately came with repair person and they could not fix it and promised to make it by next day, same story happened the hot water not coming at all, it was difficult to manage with baby but some how we managed for 5 nights. be careful when you get this room please make sure the bathroom heater is working and hot water is coming. the room is not worth for money , the picture showing something else and when you visit you will be surprised, the queen deluxe room is suitable for only single person and not for family, for those who wants to book here please select deluxe twin room with 2 single bed its little spacious. worst wifi connection every 3 mints you need to log in, i never use wifi connection and managed with tourist SIM package which i bough at airport ( AIS 8 days package 15GB unlimited social media even it worked for 10 days ). the cleaning staff did good job even they wash cooked plates also. The kitchen amenities available for cooking. the location is really good just 3 mints walk to Phrom phong BTS train just 300m from hotel. have to walk little far to find out restaurant and near to Phrom phong BTS station there were some small street food shops were there. the building seems very old and a hotel room may need renovation. the reception guys was very helpful with smiley face. the bed matters is not comfortable bump and slope is there.

• Cheuk Kuen Sebastian (4/5): - The property is pretty run down, e.g. broken shower doors, walls full of marks, furnitures are all worn, unpleasant smells. The housekeepers been doing their best so it was reasonably clean. There’s hardly any water pressure to the shower so you don’t really feel clean. Also moulds around the area. Paid a relatively high rate to stay but there was no choice because of the holidays. If you do have a choice, probably should consider staying elsewhere.
• Shahzad (7/5): Enjoyable enough for a short stay but needs refurbishment - Great staff, good location and spacious room. Smart TV, comfy bed, kettle, fridge. It's a decent enough place for a short stay. The room was a quite dusty on arrival, as if it hadn't been used for a long time. And it was dated, in need of some refurbishment. The shower base had a noticeable crack in the centre. Thin walls, so you can easily hear doors slamming in the corridors but that's pretty common in this grade of Thai hotels.
