Guest Reviews
- NOEL (2/5): - I am surprised that a reputed travel company like you have included this hotel.
the staff were not helpful .The Wifi service is useless.
Me and my wife were very disappointed. If we had the option we would have changed the hotel the night we arrived the hotel.
- Peter (2/5): If you book incorrectly, you're screwed. - My experience with the Arianna Hotel in Singapore was extremely bad. I booked a four-night reservation for this hotel through Hotels.com on July 19, 2025, which cost me a considerable sum. However, I made a mistake in the dates and booked and paid for the stay at the Arianna a month too early. I realized this the next day and emailed Hotels.com to move my date forward a month. Hotels.com tried four times to persuade the Arianna management, but they refused to cooperate. Later, I read many bad reviews about this hotel.
- nathan (2/5): - refused to let me cancel within 10mins when i misbooked more than 2 weeks in advance
- Mohammad (10/5): - Wow
- Shamsher (4/5): - The room was the size of a closet
- Faizan (6/5): - Although we fully paid online for our reservation, receiptionist kept demanding extra cash to facilitate the booking, firstly receptionist said I
- Teodora (2/5): - The room the bedsheet too many stain, washroom the worst ever
- Tony (2/5): - Not intending to stay there next.
Mouldy and damages unattended.
- Peter (2/5): - Stay away. Better value elsewhere
Location- amongst little india area with Indian restaurants that rarely open.15-20mins walk. Quite a distance to get anywhere in the city
Staff: rude,abrupt, unfriendly
Room: our triple room was cramp. In need of renovation. Blanket smell and haven’t been washed in ages. No under sheet. Room is leaking in wall. Floor dirty. We were being shuffled between rooms as they fix the leaking problem in the room
Wifi: drop out , slow. Ended up buying my own sim plan. No wifi access in lobby. No room viewing
- Rana (4/5): - Narrow room & poor cleaning service
- Vaibhav (8/5): - This place is good enough for someone who comes for short stays (probably a day or two) and by themselves.
Rooms are extremely small.
The TV in my room didn't work. I had to ask for staff to fix the airconditioning remote (which they promptly did).
Having said this, the location is great. Mustafa centre of right opposite and great food options all around, some even open 24 hours a day
- Hemamalini (10/5): - It was a pleasant stay.
- Hemamalini (10/5): - It was a pleasant stay
- MOHAMED (2/5): Better to take out this hotel from hotel dot list. - I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Never Maintained. Towels, blankets maybe 15-20years old. Horrible bathroom. They only earn & didn’t want to do anything.
- Nenita (4/5): - We stayed for 4 days. No toothpaste and toothbrush, bath soap, disposable slippers. TV is out of order. I was told to complain to the agent. Bathroom and wall is dirty. Not enough blankets for 3 adults they gave us Only 2. Too thin and dirty towels we have to buy our own towels across the street. No drinking water. The money we paid for Pesos 33,386 (SGD 756) is not worth it. Need improvement or renovation.
- Malik Rehan (2/5): - Very bad staff and nasty.
- Barry (2/5): - Worst hotel to stay in Singapore! Dirty and facilities are terrible not worth the price, you will be ripped off. They are charging you for something not worth staying for it it's value. They have TV, but doesn't even work at all. Family room, but too small and inconvenient. The pictures online are definitely deceiving!!! Don't ever book here, you will be doomed.
- Sambi Reddy (2/5): - This is very cramp and untidy place. other than location close to mustafa and other eatries, horrible place to stay
- Dilli Babu (2/5): - we dint like the property, we booked the property unknowingly and it was a terrible experience in staying at the property. Even we were not provided the refund and their service was literally poor.one of the best hotel to avoid if some one is palnning to stay.
- Samiha (2/5): - Felt cheated by hotel as pictures didn’t match room.
Rubbish service- bathroom shower doesn’t work
No remote
Wasn’t expecting anything great for the money but the bathroom door didn’t even lock and was broken
- Mohd (4/5): - No worth
- ashu (2/5): - Bed bugs
No water
Front desk manger was rude the guy who is from India
The blanket was having holes
When asked for second blanket they didn’t have
Untidy bathroom & washroom
No remote for TV don’t know if that works or not
- Md Jahidul (4/5): - Not good
- Wee Kah (6/5): - Just so so
- wayan (2/5): - Please would not listing on Expedia will ruin your business
- G M (2/5): - Very non sance staff
- Manivannan (2/5): Not nice - Not so good
- Ahamed (4/5): - It ok . Service is not that great.
- Shah Md (8/5): - It was nice
- Madhusudan (6/5): - An average staying place for budgetary spend in Singapore in a prime location.
- Md Abu (4/5): - Bathroom was dirty. Entire property was very very smelly
- Jayananth (2/5): - For the price USD$112/night is wasted, room size was 12 square meters and bathroom, toilet and sink altogether size was 5 square meters, I don’t recommend this place 😂
- KAM FAI george (4/5): Bad experience - Dirty. Small flies in room. The partition between rooms is made of thin wood. So You can hear the person's snoring sound.
The sound shielding between room and corridor is very bad. Early in the morning, you were being waken up people talking in the corridor.
- Muhammad Umar (10/5): - Wonderful
- Verified traveler (2/5): Owner must raise to standard Singapore condition - Ariana hotel owner should invest to improve the substandard conditions of the hotel to the correct Singapore standard. We do not want to come back to this hotel again. Unbelievable that this condition is tolerated by Singapore. We got sick in this hotel. It took us 4 days to recover. It might be coming from the environment. Customers be careful. Think twice (or 4 times) before booking this hotel! The workers acted right and polite. They tried their best to do their job in spite of the conditions of the hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad Experience - Booked a standard double room but they provided another room when i checked in. The room they provided did not match with the pictures on the website. It was a very small room with barely any space. When i asked them about it they said they don't have any room. When i kept asking they finally switched us to another room the next day I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
- Razib (2/5): - room was ready but they did not allow early check in . i had to wait with the luggage and kid until. 2 pm. although my request was for early check in. i booked 3 adult room but booking end up standard 2 people room. reception said its not their problem , need to contact expedia and i had to pay $90 extra to upgrade the room for 3 people. blanket looks like 35 years old and dont feel like to use it. no soap or shampoo. shower was broken, light was half working and other half not.
- Yusuf (10/5): - 2 star hotel in good location, rented one room with no amenities only one kettle, Wi-Fi was down at the time and you needed to go to the reception area to access one, but Singapore has cheap SIM card with all the data one needs.
No complaints from this hotel, as I only needed a bedsit room during my week stay in Singapore.
The room had mouldy walls being without windows would do with lick of paint and ventilation improvement and yes of course would stay the same hotel because of the location and it was reasonably priced too, the housekeepers was good friendly
- Matthew D (6/5): You get what you pay for - It is cheap for a reason - desk staff are not friendly or helpful at all, the rooms are dank and musty, and pillows have not been changed for decades. The cleaning staff seem to do their best in poor conditions.
- Amit (6/5): - Rooms are quiet small and not clean.
- Teo (10/5): - The staffs are friendly. Place is convenience.
- Mohamed (6/5): Oautha improve.. - It was i can say checking in was smooth & fast..no prob here..but room assign to me small no really a matter.. wat the thing was i dislke bout the room condition was wall v- mouldy & a bad smell, i believe air circulation no good..exhaust fan or airextruder non functional..need to keep ac running @ low temp & highspeed fan most of the time..to reduce moisture, buildup..corridor area nx lift landing...hell a noisy with those cheapo blady tourist visiting this country..
- Nirankar (4/5): - Close to shops
But this hotel stinks, bugs in toilet, place need renovation
- Saravan (2/5): - Caution pictures are deceptive. Very much rundown place and unclean. Cloths drying in common passage ways. It is more of low class dormitory then an hotel.
- Loganathan (2/5): - The room is extremely small, we couldn’t enter the rest room freely, because washbasin is blocking and we have to squeeze in between to enter toilet.
- Jathavi (2/5): - Worst conditioned hotel ever! Doesn't even deserve a star rating. Our room had no window. The light switches were dirty/faded. You could see small insects crawling in the toilet. The wiring to the TV looked like it was just hanging. Would not recommend this hotel at all.
- Jonathan (8/5): Size - The room and bed are smaller than expected.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Worst hotel I have ever been to. Will never recommend it even to my enemy
- Jean Luc (8/5): Arianna prolongation booking - small cheap hotel with queen bed
close to Mustafa centre, one of the best super market in Singapore and city square mall
with hundred of good restaurant especially for vegetarian
when I come to Singapore for my business, I book at Arianna Hotel
- Jean Luc (8/5): - For the price this hotel is very good
A little old but clean
- Mohamed (6/5): Good location and value for money - Value for money.
Ok to rest. TV Did notwork
Close to MRT
- REZAUR (2/5): Awesome - The room was very much congested and was not clean compare to room rent at this location, that’s why I have left this room after one night stayed. I am believing that this is my loss compare same standard and fare at this location.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Rooms are congested and not well equipped against the rent that is charged.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - 00 star class. So bed
- Verified traveler (6/5): Dirty Room. - The room condition was not so good.
- THAYAPARAN (6/5): Please make more comport - Not bad
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Only location and expensive to the no facilities offered except lip service
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The good thing about this property is that it is very centrally located around Mustafa Shopping Center which is open 24 HRS. In addition, it is close to MRT Station and City Square Mall.
With pros.....there are cons too which are as follows:
1) The mattress was sick with hard springs which kept us waking all night long.
2) The A.C. in the room is regulated by the reception with no remote in the room which means that in case you feel cold in the middle of night, you got to wake up and call the reception to regulate or turn off the AC for you which was really disgusting.
Apart from that, it was fine.
- Dissapointed (2/5): - No room service, no bell boy, no trolley, very very smelly, congested, no help from staff, no window, water from staff bathroom/toilet flowed to our room, bugs were coming out of bathroom waterhole, AC malfunctioned in the middle of the night (28 degrees temperature) to be fixed at 10 am next morning, tv has exact 3 outdated channels, taxi booking via the hotel was awful (they took almost 40% commission - I later found out from taxi driver). I will never stay in that hotel again.
- Anton (6/5): Great location Small rooms not the best overnight - Location is great hotel same as Old not tidy rooms small shower in toilet no windows only good for overnight
- Pratik (4/5): - Not clean, no response from the staff, no fridge in the room , after asking fridge not working, room condition is not good . Over all not recommend.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I will not recommend this property to any of my known
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No soaps, toothbrush and toothpaste. Smoking rooms was permitted as per advertised in Expedia site, however it's don't exist in the premise.
- Patraic (2/5): - Front desk personnel rude.
Filthy room.
Smelly room.
- Zura (6/5): - Attached bathroom is good. It would be great if iron can be provided when hotel guest requests it (return to reception after used)
- Verified traveler (2/5): - 1- hole on bed sheet => ended up buying new blanket
2- hole and stain on towel => ended up buying new towels
3- hole on replacement towel
4- dirty toilet with mole and fungus build up around the seal
5- stain on toilet seat
6- reuse damp toilet paper
7- the iron's wire all mess up ,no tape for covering and prevent from shocking
8- unfriendly staffs
9- mold on ceiling in hallways
- Sam (4/5): - I was expecting much for the price but the bathroom was a bit moldy. The aircon vent also smelt a bit moldy
- Sharmista (2/5): - The hotel was very...very ..dirty. The first room had water leaking from AC so they changed us to another room which was smelly, dirty sheets and blanket with a hole and very crammed. So we requested for another room for which we paid extra. The room they gave us was slightly bigger but same state. Later after shifting in almost after an hour we came to find out was that the toilet was not working. As you seat to relieve your self everything flows out n is all over the bathroom floor. Despite repeated request they never bothered to repair the toilet nor change the room. So could hardly stay in the hotel room so was using the Mustafa Centre washroom now and then. Was a bad experience. Ll tell my friends and all I know never to go there. My payment was non refundable so was helpless moreover I was travelling with an old aunt so may be they were taking advantage of the fact that both of us were ladies. Didn't expect this at Singapore where there is fine everything that dirties their country how abt these small hotels. This kind of hotel ll give a bad reputation to hotel .com as well.
- Jeevan (10/5): Love the place - It’s secound visit, awesome as usual perfect place to l
- Zada (2/5): Arianna Hotel is not the Hotel jist a building - 1. I requested for pay cash but you deduct 1 night charges from my card its not fair
2 . I requested for some early check inn ( the room was available ) but not provide us befor 1:15 pm
We reqched 10 am and they keep us in waiting for Long evennthere was no seating place at hotel
Room was much smaller we requested twin bed but they provide us 2 fixed bed same like master bed and much week mattress with spirgs voice
No light in bathroom
It was my big mistake to booked that hotel
- Jean Luc (8/5): little India - for the price offer, it's a very good hotel
very good localisation for shopping and dining
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Economic hotel
- JAGDISH (2/5): - Very small room ... select this hotel if no alternate option available ....
- Ralph (6/5): - Just the other cockroaches holding hands .keep the lite on the stay away ,THE room needs a good makeover , chineseowners could take awhile
- suds (6/5): not so good - staffs not good, not good clean inside room, too small room and bathroom.
- werner (4/5): taxi driver was not happy to go there traffic - the single bed room the toilet is so close to the lavabo you can hardly seat on it even if you a small person and 64 dollar for it is a reap off no window and aircon no work well
- Bret (4/5): - Very average room but nice staff .
- Verified traveler (6/5): chai - very close to mustafa the staff is good a lot of resterant surround
- Paneerselvam (2/5): Disappointed - For the price I pay the room was too small it was a size of a store room I’m disappointed
- Ashutosh (6/5): Ariana is more hostel than hotel. - This hotel is more of hostel type, room are very small , ok only if you are looking for cheap stay as couples , no breakfast, no room service although staff is friendly.
- Gerry (10/5): The best on Little India - The Arianna hotel is a fun place, lots of restaurants and shopping options. The MRT trains and bus stops are a short walk away. Great staff at the hotel and the room was nice and spacious.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Give this one a miss. - Miserable
- Jahufar (8/5): Tight squeeze - It’s okay Just my single room toilet was tight squeeze.its okay for if you are not spending more than day or two and I can’t say about the other rooms
- Winston (8/5): Simple & sufficient stay - My stay was good. It was sufficient enough as a basic room, with beds and shower. The rooms were simple and small, so it can fit in a small wardrobe, bed and a chair, with some walking space. As we didn't stay much in the room, this was sufficient for us.
The aircon was a problem because it was centralised, so any change in temperature must be done through the reception counter. For a budget conscious traveller, who wants convenience of 24hrs shopping and eating, or convenience of travelling, this hotel can be considered.
- Shamsul (2/5): - It's not a hotel at all. You can say it's a hostel tiny room, can not move in side room. The room condition is measurable. Toilet so tiny you can not take a shower. Bad experience.
- saif (2/5): Bad experience. Never stay in this hotel. - Very poor condition of the hotel. Bathroom is very small. Hardly any space to monouver. Cleanliness very poor.
Air conditioner was full of dust. Whole room had webs on the ceiling.TV was just for display. Not working. Hair dryer was not working. Towel were old and worn out. Bedsheets were not clean. Bed mattress was very bad.
Front desk was very poor. Attitude of the personal was horrible. Unfriendly.
Very bad value for the money. Surprising that these hotel looks like one in a third world countries, but Singapore authority did not do anything.
What a shame. Truly disgusting. I would rate it zero.
- SUBRAMANIAN (2/5): Cheating - 6 m2 insted of 8 M2 as shown, all facilities are shown and actual is different
- Renu (2/5): The worst hotel that I ever stayed. - The worst hotel that I ever stayed! I’m so sorry to say but I really hate and had very bad experience! Room was so dirty and was so uneasy. Very small can even move.
- Fatin Izzati (8/5): Worth the price but dont expect more - The room was small but with reasonable price it should be okay. Located at the heart of Little India street. Near to mrt station. Easy to find food.
- Annabelle (4/5): Terrible Stay - The place is really bad and has a bad smell at the lobby. Rooms not clean and most of the furnitures were broken and in bad condition.
The only thing good was the location was prefect.
- Mayur Ravindranath (2/5): - very bad place.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel is at an excellent location. However the single room was quite small with minimal moving space and the furniture needs to be refurbished as the wood of the closet area was broken in several places.
- Sarma (6/5): Close to Mustafa Center,MRT and Restaurants - If you are looking for a sleeping place then go ahead.. This one is cheap and good. Last time i got a room which had hairs and unclean AC and walls.. This time much better room..
I was staying there with my family for 2 nights . Rooms are bit small.. But as i said just for taking rest it is fine .. Don't expect too much on these budget hotels..
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad experience - I don't want to detail everything. But the whole experience was a nightmare..
- Maung Maung (4/5): - Bathroom was too small, TV channel very a few only, don't even provide hangers for clothes, no drinking water
- Verified traveler (2/5): bad smell of cockroaches - ask anything they said they don’t know
it was very dirty and smell if cockroaches was so strong
when gave feedback he was not bothered
- Foo tock wee (8/5): They clean up other room is noise and talk lordly - The cleaner clean up other room isnoise and talk loudly in the early morning
- Verified traveler (6/5): Affordable bare bone hotel room in Singapore - The hotel is situated within Little India. Location is good and well connected with public transport (MRT station & bus stop within walking distance) with 24 hours supermarket and Indian and Chinese restaurants (Swee Choon Tim Sum is good for late night eats) nearby. But don't expect much apart from a good enough bed, clean sheets, hot shower, air-cond, small TV, mini fridge and hair dryer. The bathroom/toilet is so tiny, it's the smallest I have ever seen in my whole life. Sink was dirty but at least toilet bowl was clean. The room has no window and pretty tiny too. Not too comfortable for longer stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Staff very rude n the room n lift was very smelly. For long stay like 6 nights this not suitable place.
- bo (8/5): The hotel close to the mustafa center - The hotel have nice location such as opposite tha mustafa center, easy to go to farrer park MRT station i like this hotel but it's quite a small room. Generally, i like this hotel and i will recomment this hotel to my friends
