- chester (10/5): - I stayed in the property 6 nights in the basement room because its economi for the location, the room is small full bed your own bathroom and the price is cheap, cleat towel every day, great breakfast every morning, great view from the 4th floor, closer to many historiak location in the area. If you are and easy traveler this basement room its great for the price and location.

The rooms have the most beautiful windows, the roof boasts of stunning views, the breakfast is delicious. The host is kind and helpful and over all its a place I feel extremely lucky to have found. Its good value for the price and always very clean, well maintained and above all safe and convenient to all the most beautiful locations. Easy walking to the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. I stay here as often as I am able as I feel its a home away from home.

- Halie (10/5): - I really enjoyed the location on this property, I was able to walk to all major tourist attractions such as Hagia Sophia, basilica cistern, blue mosque and more! The breakfast was also very enjoyable and the breakfast room had nice views of the ocean. The staff was also very kind and helpful. There was some construction happening for all hours of the day that was very noisy but that’s not the hotels fault! My only critique would be that the bathrooms need a deep clean and some drain maintenance and as a solo traveler I wish there were double locks on the door such as a door latch for more security. Overall it was a very nice place to stay with amazing staff and the room was very cute! Would recommend for a stay in Istanbul.

- Kira (10/5): - This is my home in Istanbul. The hotel is easy walking distance to everything and has beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. The rooms are comfortable, super charming and have lovely windows overlooking the bay. I find it the perfect mix of historic charm, Turkish Hospitality and modern convenience. This is my 2nd time and I hope to continue to return to both my favorite hotel and my favorite city. Also they make an incredible breakfast here, again with a great view. Its a good place to launch your adventures in Turkey and also recharge and rest. I got stuck in the elevator and keeps pushing emergency button but no help I somehow keeps banging the door and it opened we stayed 2 days and flew to cappadocia we had remaining 4 days at this hotel but we didn’t come back and booked another hotel .

- Verified traveler (6/5): Average Hotel - The staff is very friendly. However the rooms are not very well maintained. The room we were staying in 302# the shower was leaking onto the ground. There was cracks in the sink. The toilet seat was very loose almost felt like it was going to break. Its is definitely a cheaper hotel and it shows. for $650 for 10 nights you definitely get what you pay for. They did offer complimentary breakfast which was from 8-10 Am which is pretty reasonable. The same food was provided every day. They did have WIFI which helped alot. On the floor there was paint stuck to the floor boards which i felt like they could have cleaned up. Also in the shower there was a decent amount of mold. Overall it was average what helps boost the rating is the staff hospitality. If it wasn't for that i would give it 1 out of 5 stars.

The property of course is old that being said, the broken/patch is here and there. for the breakfast, they do provide but almost all cold food. I wouldnt suggest to book the hotel in this area. The restaurant surrounding is also over-pricing. It was a bad decision I booked here

The staff was very cordial and accommodating, the location was central to all the historic sites and walking distance to everything. The hotel was nice and clean and the location was quiet. The breakfast itself is SUPERB and the breakfast area overlooks the harbour. The staff is very helpful and the location is perfect - very safe, quiet and right by Hagia Sophia. Highly recommend. The breakfast was some of the best food we had during our Turkey trip.

Really enjoyed Emine Sultan, we got room 401 at 4 floor, only our room and breakfast terrace on this floor, room was not so big but super clean. Breakfast was nice and different menu each days. Breakfast is the same every day with limited choice. No shuttle for customers from the airport to the hotel. I have to pay $50 on the first day by van to hotel. The hotel attendant asked me to pay for a refund. No refund was given to me. After my stay, i have to pay $30 in the local currency. No receipt is given.

- MD AMINUL (10/5): Excellent staying ! - Overall my stay was really excellent and i had enjoyed the days there ! The room was clean, WIFI was okay, AC was good, hot water was okay, the window views were really wonderful. Especially, thanks to the owners of the property who had cooperated a lot with their nice English speaking but it would be great if one more hotel staff is recruited there who could assist anytime even in breakfast which is average and same menu every morning.

The tv was not working, there was no toilet paper, the windows and floors in the dining room were filthy, I had to go out to buy water to drink and the hand sanitizers were empty. - Fiona (8/5): Excellent value and friendly staff - Compared to other properties in the area, this Hotel is excellent value. I stayed in a standard double room. The room was small, and definitely wasn't newly re-furbished, but it was clean, comfortable and everything worked just fine! All of the staff were friendly and most of them speak excellent English. The one I spoke to who didn't speak good English really tried to answer all of my questions through google translate, which worked well. Breakfast was fine: I feel like this could have been a slightly different experience outside of COVID times, but plates were prepared and covered for every guest, with tea, coffee, bread and cereal readily available. The location was perfect for someone visiting Istanbul for the first time, as it's within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions.

- Verified traveler (2/5): False advertisement - The room was advertised as a suite with pictures showing 2 large rooms. However, when we arrived, they gave us a very very small room (1 room) with a double bed and another smaller bed/couch on the side wall. They called this the "smaller suite" and said even though we had booked the "big suite", they had double booked the room and it was unavailable. Also, the "big suite" was still a single room with 3 beds and technically not a suite. They said the price for the two rooms was the same (even though we had paid for the larger room) and did not reduce the price. The staff were all very polite and helpful but the room was not what they advertised.

- Edizkan (10/5): Living in history in the heart of the old city - Our experience with Emine Sultan Hotel was excellent from beginning to the end. The room was comfortable with basic amenities like fridge, hair dryer, shower, toilet. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was open buffet with a lot of food to pick from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very knowledgeable about Istanbul. The breakfast room was in the top floor with a breathtaking view of the Marmara sea and part of Bosphorus, and the Blue Mosque.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good hotel for the price. Location is great. - We enjoyed our stay at the Emine Sultan Hotel. The breakfast was pretty good and location superb. The only bad experience was that when we payed the amount, the receptionist said that he didn't have change (around 4 euros) (and said that he would give us the next day). Well, the next day nothing happened, and we didn't like this kind of behaviour when doing business, though we learned this was totally OK in Turkey toward tourists. We didn't ask explicitly for the change the next days because we enjoyed our stay, but *imposing* tips must be a no-no.
