- Garwyn (8/5): Great value, friendly staff and amazing location! - I needed a room for one night before checking into a more expensive AirBnB with my cousins. The iClub Hotel was definitely a better option and I wished I stayed there for the duration of my holiday. It's amazing value for money and I would definitely stay there again if travelling alone. - Loren (9/5): Great staff, clean comfy spacious quarters in the heart of Hong Kong! - Most of all the staff that served me—especially Wendy, Colby and their manager, Alex, epitomized what great service is all about. Wendy and Colby. were so kind, they made me feel like I was in a five star hotel. Alex helped to meet a troubleshoot a prior terrible reservation screw up by Agoda. All the staff, including the cleaning ladies were phenomenal! The first time I stayed this last month, I booked through Agoda, which I honestly have to say I’m never gonna do it again. Agoda signed me up for four separate rooms on the wrong days and drew nearly HK$20,000 from my account. This is nothing to do with iclub Wan chai and everything to do with that lousy excuse for a booking agency, Agoda.

First time was by myself and the room was more spacious than nearby more expensive hotels. The second time, we came as family and stayed in the two bedroom suite. It had two bathrooms and was perfect for a family of 5. The location is about 5 minutes away from the mtr and all around the hotels are restaurants and convenience stores. I must also commend Wendy, who helped us during our stay, she was such a wonderful person and made our stay much much more pleasant,

It has many restaurants and shops within walking distance and very good public transport connections (bus, trams, subway) nearby. The staff provides good service and the hotel and room are clean and well maintained. The lounge for complimentary fresh grounded coffee, tea and light breakfast is a nice facility. For the location, the noise level was very acceptable.

- Romesh Aquila Ian (6/5): onvenient food options nearby, but dated rooms and service reduced overall comfort. - One of the positives of this hotel is the convenience of the surrounding area. There are many restaurants and food options open until late right downstairs, which made it easy to find meals at any time. The hotel is also very close to the Peak Tram and the Michelin-starred Kam’s Roast Goose, which was a highlight of the stay. Housekeeping did replace the towels during my stay, which was appreciated. The hotel itself feels quite dated, and this was noticeable in the room. Housekeeping was mediocre, as the duvet was simply placed on the bed rather than being properly made, which felt careless. The reception area was often busy and somewhat messy, and the check-in experience wasn’t very welcoming, as the reception staff did not come across as particularly friendly. In terms of location, while convenient for a few nearby spots, the hotel is quite far from many of Hong Kong’s main attractions such as Disneyland, Nathan Road, the Big Buddha, and Temple Street Night Market, requiring significant travel time.

Happy Valley is a 15 minute walk and Sha Tin is accessible via a 2 minute walk to Wan Chai metro (transfer from Island Line to East Rail Line at Admiralty Station). Clean, secure, and well maintained. All other major tourist attractions (Causeway Bay, Central, Kowloon, Bay Ferry) are directly accessible by Wan Chai metro (via MTR) or Ding Ding (across the street), or a short walk to the ferry. Perfect spot. Great food close by in every direction.

It is located in between of modernization and real livelihood of Hong Kong.The coffee at common floor was good too. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room facilities are old and required a facelift. We were unfortunate to experience fire alarm in the middle of the night. However, the evacuation was smooth and Hong Kong fire department was efficient.

The room was very large too, kettle and microwave were a bonus. The room felt run down and not thoroughly cleaned. The bed was clean but the air con vent above the door was covered in dust and the rain shower came out at random directions rather than straight down. The cupboard/wardrobe doors needed alignment as they didn't close individually, they had to both be opened and pushed against each other while closing.

Helpful front desk staff. The mattress could be softer. It was more like a Chinese style hard bed with a thin softening layer on top. Also because of the "green thing" which they say helps prevent plastic waste, there were some toiletries missing.

The hotel is overall very good and has kept its standard. First time I was there was in 202 and now 13 years later it is more or less the same.
