I know it’s due a welcomed renovation between April and November but the people from conciege to breakfast at Farriars and the Pool area to Paddock View Restaurant are the heart beat. Specially like to recognise Prasanna efforts and service in both the latter mentioned areas. Breakfast team are brilliant too. Nothing is too much to ask. Can’t wait to see the new place in 2024

- Rosalynd (2/5): - A very unsafe environment. The glass elevator broke down and the panic button did not work. Eventually after about 25 min of us screaming to get staff attention a guy came over and shrugged at us. After about 15 more minutes he grabbed his colleague who was also unsuccessful in getting us out of the elevator. Meanwhile the elevator was shifting between floors abruptly. Eventually my partner pried the doors open with his hands and we had to jump out. There was no apology from staff or check in with us done after. Furthermore we felt uneasy and uncomfortable during our stay here as the hotel staff treated us with hostility and in an unpleasant manner during the stay especially by the head waitstaff at breakfast. He would harass us and encourage us to leave breakfast as soon as we had finished our last bite. When we mentioned to the front desk our dissatisfaction with our stay and how we felt unsafe they brushed us off with offering us a free upgrade during our next stay with them, even though we expressly told them we did not wish to return due to our numerous safety concerns.

- Renaud (4/5): Poor check in and check out service staff. - We booked the presidential double bedroom suite. We got called as it was suddenly in maintenance. They offered a panoramic suite of 1/3 of rhe size and adding a small bedroom next to it. Price of the panoramic was not even 1/4 of the price of presidential. Had to ask to get at least two panoramic suites. The included breakfast but attempted to make me pay for it. None of the staff at check in or check out cared about all those issues. One elevator was out of srrvice for 24 hours and they never out any signal to let us know so we got stuck quite a bit of times. I will not go back.

One point to note is that you need to put a deposit in order to charge to the room. This wasn’t explained to me at check-in so had a few misunderstandings in the beginning! I also ordered the Foodcation - which included breakfast and lunch/dinner. The breakfast was good with a nice variety but the lunch/dinner was a set menu which became boring after the 5th day!

- SURAJ (4/5): pathetic - We stayed with family in the presidential suite, when we entered everything was looking perfect, after we settled down a bit, we started noticing the things. the centre table glass was broken, the kettle electric kettles and the coffee machine was not working because there was no electricity into those sockets. TV was not aligned properly to the wall, the home Theatre system which was supposed to connect it with the TV was not connected and the wires were everywhere. then we went inside towards the bedroom again everything was looking very good, I switched on the TV and found out again the home Theatre system was not connected with the TV, thank God this time the wire was not out, going to the bathrooms, jacuzzi was outdated and found few things were missing from there. when I try to take shower the drainage system was totally blocked, the water was flowing out of bathrooms. It was too dirty to think this. How you feel when, you are showering in your own debris. I called the electrician which arrived quite late for the electric kettle and the coffee machine sockets, the guy came and open that lock door for the where the main circuit board was available and switched it on the key in the MCB board. after three minutes when I started on the machine to have a coffee again the key went down. I asked the guy again and I told him please give me the key of this door so I can keep it on then he say no it will not go down do not worry, it really didn't go down for almost two hours.

The music from the night club was very loud until 4.00am it stopped so was hard to sleep. We had a problem with our room the toilet kept flooding and we were moved to a suite which was beautiful. The service at breakfast was not very organised, missing cutlery, and you have to order your coffee at the bar, they kept forgetting on a daily basis and we had to ask severals times for tea and coffee to be served. However, the staff, hotel and facilities were amazing. Would recommend it and would return too. The children’s pool was excellent and bar food was great too.

From the moment of arrival through check-out, it was clear that the staff's mission was to ensure the comfort of guests. Our room was ample and impeccably clean. The breakfasts and evening evening buffets were plentiful, varied and quite flavorful. We strongly recommend the Meydan Hotel.
- Madina (8/5): - The hotel had a beautiful structure and the rooms were so spacious and Clean. Rooms were Child proof which was so great. The front lobby bellboys were terrific and so helpful. The front desk was not so much, we asked if there was any complimentary upgrades and she said yes but there is a fee so she was abit disappointing. The pools were closed for construction which was kinda dumb and the restaurants werre wayy to pricy. They had snacks inside the room but they would charge you for it and they put a small note which you can miss easily. Extremely pricy, $10 US for just a bottle of soft drink. Its best to not have them in the room if its not complimentary and free. Its misleading specialy given its such a high end hotel; you woulf expect that to be free. Overall was a good experience though.
