• yolanda isabel (4/5): - The bathroom never was cleaned. Our bedroom wasn’t ready. We had to move to other bedroom. Nobody was there when we arrived. The stairs are very poorly built, if you go with the elderly it will be very difficult for them to climb. If you go with heavy suitcases you will suffer a lot there. There is no elevator.

• Kristian (6/5): Buena ubicación pero es muy básico - Es un hostal muy básico, igualmente el desayuno, entre las cosas buenas esta la ubicación. El servicio de recepción no trabaja 24/7 para que lo tomen en cuenta. Es un lugar prácticamente para ir a dormir solamente.

• Matthew (10/5): - This is exactly as advertised! Hosts were very kind, offering tea and coffee all day as well as the complimentary breakfast. Perfect location for getting to all major attractions in the city as well as lots of dining options nearby. Would definitely recommend as an affordable stay in Istanbul!

• 800ysn (2/5): Scam Stay Away - This hostel doesn't even deserve one star , the owner is just a chubby pig annoying his guest and disrespect them, i booked an 8 bed room when i arrived he started his scams saying i dont have a reservation then he switched to okay u can stay but u need to pay 20 euros instead of 9 euros on the hostel app, which was way expensive and that's not what i booked, please stay away from this hostel as far away as possible.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Dirty, not maintained, poor condition and service. - Dirty, bad service, hot, no AC. It’s a hostel so no amenities, no cleaning items, nothing. The terrace shown in the picture is not available for that use. There are few tables, not cleaned, no light available, not clean….
• 174yazi (2/5): Terrible experience! - This is the worst hostel- do not stay here! Rooms & toilets filthy & smelly, air conditioning doesn't work, breakfast a joke, reception staff very unhelpful, unfriendly & rude! They claim to have a 1am curfew but never told me- so I found myself locked out at just 1:30am- then very rude when I'd politely knocked on the door to be let in! The next night I was back way before 1am & shocked to see the door was still locked & I was locked out again! Unacceptable to say 1am curfew but lock the door way before! The female at reception is so rude and just locks the door whenever she feels like it regardless of whether it's curfew time or not- & then has the nerve to be rude and aggressive when opening the door- & only after knocking for a long time! To make matters worse- security is very poor and random people are able to walk in off the street & go through the rooms- people reported their stuff going missing! And despite all these problems they still charge around 30 euros- so totally ripped off!! Avoid this place like the plague!!

• mulhamd2020 (4/5): Nice view but very bad service - They lock the hostel door at 11 AM you have to call them every time you want to go out at night, breakfast is very bad and serves is the worst its just looks like a kid is managing this hostel, tarras have a good view but very dirty and look unpleasant, rooms are not clean at all especially bathrooms this is a big NO. restaurant is closed word of advice look for another hotel or hostel you will find a cheaper better one maybe it was good before covid 19 but now i won't recommend

İstanbul maratonu için istanbul daydık ve koşu öncesi söz verdirdiği gibi kahvaltıyı 06:00-06:30 arası hazırladı ve problem yaşamadan maraton transfer otobüslerine yetiştik. • Wafy (8/5): - Comfy bed and good breakfast but the location is not the greatest,the toilet was broken and unclean, facilities need to improve the room i got was totally messy and unclean, finally the rooftop "the trace" has great view.
• Ryan (8/5): Gets the job done, but nothing special. - It's a very basic hostel, it's not much but you get what you paid for. Pros: Nearby to sights. Easy to get to airport via bus. Great views from roof. Friendly staff. Cons: Bathrooms are not clean and smell horrible. Rooms are cramped and stuffy.

• Ijlal (8/5): Buen hotel para viajeros - El personal increíble, muy amables y te ayudan, cambie 1 de las habitaciones en mi entrada ya q las 2 habitaciones q reservé no tenían baño privado y pague por ello 50€ de más, las escaleras no son muy cómodas para personas mayores ya q son altas, estrechas y en espiral, en toda la semana en las 2 habitaciones no entraron a limpiar y nosotros cambiábamos las sábanas y toallas, salvo esto las vistas de las terrazas espectaculares de la ciudad y Sultanahmet, la mejor zona de todo el centro ya todo esta muy muy cerca, en una semana solo cogimos el transporte 1 vez, gestionaron el transporte del aeropuerto al hotel y la vuelta y muy cómodo, el desayuno me gustó mucho, aunque algún dulce faltaría pero igualmente muy bueno, el personal lo mejor, muy amables, simpáticos y atentos.
• SFPogo (6/5): Fine for what it is. Moderate your expectations - My bed wasn't level and my shower leaked. The staff was attentive within the limits of what they could do about these things. The included breakfast is very basic--less than continental. This was all fine since I'd set my expectations quite low, but I wouldn't rave about this place. Location was good for seeing historical sights; there seem to be about 50 other places like this one on the same block.

• Karkkimarianne (10/5): Very nice - We stayed with my friend for four nights. The hostel was in a perfect location and the rooms were clean. People working in the reception and in the restaurant downstairs were most helpful and ready to answer our questions and give us recommendations. We felt welcomed and all the time there was a feeling that the people from the hostel cared about us and about that we enjoyed all the time. I would recommend this hostel.

• victorz840 (8/5): “Very recommended ” - Perfect location, fantastic roof terrace, everyone was super friendly. I enjoyed my stay a lot! I came in early to leave my bag which wasn't a problem at all. Stayed in dorm with two bunk beds which was fine. There's Airport shuttle available at set times during the day - 7 euro to Ataturk. I used public transport which is brilliant in Istanbul. Couple supermarkets, shops and restaurants nearby. breakfast is bit boring but will keep you going. Place is safe and not to noisy. Overall very good place to stay!
• 490alfredom (8/5): good location, friendly - my wife booked through the internet and the place was conveniently located and walking distance to a lot of sites and close to the tram and bazar. there are also lots of cafes and restaurants near by. rooms were clean and comfortable and prices reasonable.
• TheGoneGirl (10/5): Loved the vibe of the hostel! - I loved Nobel Hostel. It is nicely located and very close to the Blue Mosque. The whole area is vibrant and full of life and color. The beds were really comfy too. The staff were really helpful too. And, the breakfast was also had good options. I had a really good time here and would totally recommend this place. Maybe, the only thing they can work on is keeping the bathroom floors clean (for the common ones).

• 490ruddyl (6/5): I am not impressed, but you have what you pay for. - I had booked this Hostel through Booking.com, on the Internet. My first difficulty was to find it, even though I had located it in a map, because the map was not accurate, and a street name does not always refer to a contiguous street. I finally reached the hostel thanks to multiple askings and the help of three Iraqi girls living in Turkey. Then I discovered the hostel per se. What did I like? - Very much: The rooftop terrace, with, as other guests wrote, a marvelous view (see pictures of an orange moon over Asian Istanbul). - Very much: the mattress thickness, especially after a bad experience in a China hostel. - Much: the restaurant menu, good and reasonably priced. - A little: the breakfast. What did I dislike? - Very much: the hostel is very difficult to find by oneself, even with the address. However, its location is excellent: central and close to the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia museum. - Very much: the lack of a table and a chair in the dorm (which would have been too small to accommodate them anyway). - Very much: the lack of plugs in the restaurant room, which is the only common room (using a laptop computer in the dorm is a challenge. - Much: the unevenness of the height of the stair steps (that can be dangerous!). - A little: the lack of information about cheap airport transfers.
• mihaela_thetraveller (8/5): Nicely located but some of the staff probably need more training - I'll start off with the pros: the hostel is very well located, right next to the Hagia Sofya and the Blue Mosque, and you can go up to the rooftop for a stunning view of the Sea of Marmara, as well as the two famous mosques, so that was very nice. Certain members of the staff, especially a lovely fellow named Mehmet, went out of their way to make my trip pleasant, and gave me some very good discounts on the hostel restaurant (the food they serve here is very good, by the way). Also, they offer a Turkish-style buffet breakfast that's included in the price, which is a great way to kickstart your day. Onto the bad, which unfortunately ruined my stay somewhat - the toilet seat was broken during my stay by one of the other guests, and was unattended to - they seemed to think that removing the seat completely was a viable solution. More annoying though was that they mixed up my bunk bed when I checked in, so despite the fact that I had already paid for and been shown by bed by the actual manager of the place (not one of the young men who were his employees), I was asked by one of the employees to 'come out and speak to his manager', in a manner that implied that I was going to have to go out to the street and face Biff Tannen in a fist fight. I hardly think this is a suitable way to speak to a paying guest.
• TheLydsMarie (8/5): Good money value. - First, do not expect it to be a 5 star hotel. It's small but they do what they can with what they have. I'll start talking about the things we liked: 1. Most of the staff are nice and helpful even if they do not speak English they'll find a way to help you with what you need. We wanted to stay only 5 nights but ended up being there for 9. 2. Its location is perfect: close to the old town, gift shops and metro station to move around to the rest of the city. 3. We stayed in different rooms as well as one dorm room. They're clean and nice. Don't expect them to be big. They're not. Don't waste your time in the rooms! The hostel has a nice cafe, restaurant and terrace with an excellent view to the sea and the Blue Mosque. And the cocktails there are excellent! Now, the cons: 1. One bathroom in special had a funny smell coming from the sewer system I guess. 2. As I said, most of the staff is nice BUT there was this guy in particular who knew where we are from and started bothering us. Too impolite to mention political stuff from our country that's still hurting us and has caused so many deads. It was so stupid from him to keep mentioning it even when we told him to stop it. We would've left the hotel for that but those were our last nights. We just had to avoid him. 3. The do have WiFi everywhere but it wasn't that good. Too slow.
• kng88 (8/5): Great Location with good views and breakfast! - Affordable hostel with a great rooftop. Friendly staff, some with more knowledge of English than others. The restaurant was pretty good and the breakfast filling. You can walk to all the major sites. The only issue we had was security. They do not give you keys for the dorms so anyone can technically just walk in. The Lockers they provided in our dorm room were not functional -- They did not lock! There was no where to really keep our valuables since they did not provide a safe at the front desk either.
• MrCIean (10/5): Great staff, even better view - Very affordable hostel, and at great value because this hostel was great! It was very clean, even the bathrooms surprisingly. The staff were helpful and super friendly. Especially Mehmet and Alex, their English was pretty good and we could communicate just fine. Finally, THE VIEW. What a view. You’re not gonna get any better views any where else in Istanbul. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Istanbul.
• Marcela (10/5): Bastante bueno! - El hotel es bastante lindo, tiene su propio restaurante y una terraza increíble, me quede en una habitación privada con baño y estuvo vatsante bien, cómoda y limpia, el acceso a las habitaciones no es muy cómodo ya que son grandes escalones en un pasillo muy estrello, así que no lo recomiendo para personas de edad o personas con discapacidad. Por todo lo demás estuvo muy bien la estadía, la ubicación es estupenda, a solo unos pasos de el bazar y a unas cuantas cuadras de la mesquita! Todo estaba limpio y la atención fue buena, sin embargo el desayuno podría mejorar, tiene poca variedad, unas cuantas verduras, pan y cereal! No obstante volvería a hospedarme ahí, muy buena relación precio/ beneficio
• Jose (8/5): Located in the heart of Sultanahmed - I stayed 4 nights with my wife, is an excellently located hostel with free good wifi, turkish breakfast, near restaurants, shops and, most important, the 2 principal attractions: Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque It’s a warm place, clean and with awesome staff, every one of them is happy to help The only problem is that is noisy (or maybe the other guests were) and does not has an elevator If I return to Turkey, I’d definitely stay there again

Our downstairs courtyard looked out into the fire escape and the outside space was shared with the next door restaurant, which made our room smell like grease.
• Benharold-Troy (10/5): Very accomodating - The staffs are so very accommodating and friendly. They will advise you about your safety travelling around the city, which I found so thoughtful. There's a 10% discount on food and drinks that you order in the restaurant underneath the hostel, which is great, oh plus the 20% off on drinks on happy hour!!!. The service of the waiter 'Mehmet' is so high standard, he will attend to your needs and so very polite. He's so hardworking I must say, so bravo to you my bro Mehmet!

• Not Provided (4/5): No recomendable - avoid if possible!! - Nos alojamos en una doble con baño privado. La habitación que nos tocó estaba totalmente improvisada, no es como se ve en las fotos.Las paredes parecían de cartón y se escuchaba absolutamente todo. El olor a cloaca que había en la habitación era nauseabundo y acumulaban bolsas de basura justo en la entra de nuestro cuarto, por lo tanto el aspecto no era el mas limpio. En el baño, la ducha estaba mal sellada y el agua se salia para afuera. La ultima noche cortaron el agua en todo el barrio (con previo aviso) pero a los huéspedes nos avisaron cuando ya estaba cortada. Nos pareció bastante mal que en la recepción ni siquiera nos ofrecieran una botella de agua de cortesía o algo aunque sea para lavarnos los dientes y la cara, muy mal preparados en ese aspecto. El desayuno básico turco pero bueno Lo mejor fue la cama, la calefacción que prendían en la noche, el wifi y la ubicacion Si desean quedarse en Sultanahmet, hay cantidades de hoteles y hostels que deben ser mucho mejor que este!!
• Natalia (10/5): Excelente Hostel - Nobel hostel es excelente, el personal es muy amable siempre dispuesto a ayudar, la localizacion es perfecta a minutos de la Mezquita Azul, Santa Sofía y del transporte público. Al lado cuenta con un acogedor restaurante de buena calidad y precios modicos que ademas por estar hospedado en el hostel te ofrece un 15% de descuento. Totalmente recomendable!

• Ricardo (8/5): 3 nighs in Istanbul - The hotel is really close to the main attractions in Istanbul. Just a 3 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and the place you catch the Big Bus. The breakfast is really good.
• mapy (10/5): très bon accueil, chambres très propres - le quartier est un peu trop touristique pour nous, mais idéal pour visiter les principaux monuments. Le personnel est très accueillant et arrangeant. Les chambres, ainsi que les espaces communs sont très propres, et la terrasse de toit, confortable, nous offre une vue magnifique sur la mosquée bleue et l'entrée du Bosphore. Aucuns défauts ne sont à signaler.
• Catherine (10/5): Perfect for a short stay in the heart of Istanbul - Small room but very comfortable beds & pillows; quiet. Shared bathroom was right across the hall & we never had to wait for it. There is a terrace on the roof with wonderful views (the mosques, the Bosporus...) & tables to sit at. The included breakfast was in the restaurant next door & was the best breakfast we had on our 10-day trip which included Italy. The room has lockers so you can safely lock up your valuables but we didn't feel the need to do so. You are less than 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and less than 10 minutes walk to Ayasofia & the Cistern. It was challenging to find from the Metro/tram we took from the airport to Sultanamhet stop, but very convenient. Great stores & restaurants all around the hostel. Next door's restaurant gives you a 10% discount on dinner. The hostel staff was very helpful, spoke English for us, & gave us a good map & directions; they let us store our luggage with them after checkout while we toured before heading back to the airport. Our family of 4 only had 24 hours & this was the way to get a good sleep, big breakfast, & see the highlights!
• Sus (8/5): Storby ferie - Hotellet levede op til rigtig mange af vores forventninger. vi havde booket værelse med eget bad, selv om vi havde valgt værelse med bad på gangen var standarten her også fin. Hotel personalets Engelsk var rigtig godt, og de ringede gerne og bookede aktiviteter til os. - De eneste anmærkninger var der på værelset kun var 1 "dyne" af en brede på 140 cm. godt nok er vi ægtefolk men det var ikke lige helt stort nok, sagt til hotellets forsvare vi efter lyste ikke en dyne nummer 2. Morgenbuffen havde kun Te og Kaffe af drikke vare. kunne godt have brugt noget juise. - Hotellet får vores anbefalinger.
• Verified traveler (10/5): plezierig verblijf - Het is een hostel dwz dat je afhankelijk van het type kamer die je geboekt hebt ook kunt treffen dat je gebruikt maakt van een met andere mensen gedeelde badkamer.Het hostel wordt bezocht door internationale gasten , veelal jongeren maar ook een enkele oudere die veel reiservaringen hebben.Zo heb je de mogelijkheid om interessante gesprekken te hebben . Het hostel bezit een dakterras waar je vrij kunt relaxen en je eigen consumties kunt gebruiken. Een prachtige plek! Het hostel ligt op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden en op loopafstand van de tram.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Kun 100 meter til den blå måske - Det er et hyggelig hostel, uden for meget komfort, men det ligger på et af skønneste og besøgte steder Istanbul ( Sultanahmet) Flot udsigt til Den blå måske fra tarressen, skal opleves om aftenen. Til Hacia Sofia museum 300 meter, til Grand Basar ca 10 min. Gå afstand. Gode offentlig transport muligheder, sporvogn, tog og sejle. Sultanahmet er det både dyrt at parkere og meget trafik, så hold jer fra bil.
