• MARGARET (10/5): Loved our stay. The staff recommended the Turkish Baths, not to be missed. - The location is perfect. We had an awesome view of the Acropolis. The hote its within walking distance to the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum and the Agora. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. They gave us a detailed map of the sites we wanted to see and non touristy places to eat. We were able to check in early and check out late. We will definitely receive it to our friends. Breakfast was great! Nothing. Everything was perfect.

It is a perfect place to relax after sightseeing and you feel well taken care of by the owner and his wonderful team. The owner gave us an upgrade to our rooms which we very much appreciated. The rooms are well equipped and have a great standard. The breakfast is served on the beautiful rooftop bar (in and outside). All was perfect, really!

The hotel itself was very tasteful and clean, featuring beautiful architecture and an elevator.The breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. A very clean and beautiful place to eat. There were many great restaurants right next to the hotel, and a small grocery store was located just across the street. The hotel staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. To be honest, I’ve never experienced such a warm welcome before. Istanbul felt like a very safe place to travel!

• Otetaru (10/5): Warmth, kindness, and perfect location — everything you could wish for. - The location is perfect — just a short walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and all the main attractions of the Old City. Everything is easily reachable on foot, the tram is 2 min away and you can reach the metro and ferry mich easier than by uber (tested it these days). What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. They are extremely kind, warm, and helpful. Harun, the owner is an absolutely amazing guy. They treated us like family, always going out of their way to assist us with anything we needed — recommendations, bookings, or little things that made our stay easier and more enjoyable. We genuinely felt at home here. If you are coming by car, parking and driving is tough, but at least you are staying in the heart of Istanbul. it is not under the hotels control, but they can recommend 2 parking spots close to the hotel (~20EUR/day)

• Hickman (10/5): Great location, delicious food nearby, close to the old city!!! - We loved our stay at White House in Istanbul, the hotel is convientley located in the old city and we could get around to whatever attract we were seeking. The dining options just adjacent to the hotel were delicious. We were so grateful to have breakfast added to our stay, it helped with needing be out early in the morning. We would definitely recommend staying at White House and will do so on our return.

This meant that in the morning we heard chairs scrapping on the tiled floor above. This was the only noise we heard and we were getting up anyway so it was no big thing.

The hospitality was exceptional from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Every member of the support team was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel is extremely clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The rooms were spotless, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. It was the perfect way to start our day before exploring the city. One of the things that stood out the most was the owner of the hotel. He is incredibly down to earth, kind, and genuinely cares about his guests. He went out of his way multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. That personal touch made a huge difference and made us feel more like family than guests. The location is unbeatable. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, and many other major attractions are all within walking distance, which made sightseeing so easy and enjoyable. The entire team was always available to assist with directions, transportation, recommendations, and anything else we needed. Their customer service was truly top class. We highly recommend White House Hotel Istanbul to anyone visiting Istanbul. If we return to the city, this will definitely be the place we stay again.

È raro trovare un’attenzione così autentica e sincera, capace di farti sentire non un semplice ospite, ma parte di una famiglia. Le camere erano pulitissime e dotate di ogni comfort, curate nei minimi dettagli per garantire un soggiorno perfetto. La colazione è semplicemente eccezionale, preparata con cura e amore: ogni mattina era un piccolo momento di felicità. Within a few minutes walk from many major attractions and restaurants, but also in a relatively quiet street. Harum (the owner) could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the place is spotlessly clean. Above all, the staff were fantastic. Could not have been more helpful. Always polite and a pleasure to speak to. The Hotel has a lovely atmosphere. If we are lucky enough to visit this fantastic city again, we will certainly consider staying at The White House. Nothing really. It is a small hotel, so you would not expect facilities like a bar or evening restaurant. But that is part of the charm and there are certainly plenty of restaurants and rooftop bars within a very short distance.

The bed was comfortable. Bottled water was provided in the room daily. All the staff in the hotel were very helpful. A special "thank you" to Yunus at reception. His kindness and friendliness make him the heart of this hotel. Also, a big"thank you to Hazan for all the help. An extra chair in the room and the second bedside table will be helpful.

• Lundquist (10/5): A superb stay in the heart of Istanbul - A very friendly, welcoming and personal hotel where all staff constantly contribute to a superb stay by always being present and offering all kind of support or a helping hand. The breakfast buffet was very rich and tasty and special requests were always taken care of with a kind smile. The dishes were varied every day. The location is in the middle of a very hectic part of Istanbul with many of the big sights just a few steps away, but the hotel is situated along a very quiet street with limited traffic. The hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants of all kinds from Guide Michelin recommended to normal Turkish kebab houses. The heating in the room was not possible to control inside the room when we stayed there but had to be switched on from the reception each time. Then it stayed on for a couple of hours. This will not be a problem if the reception just would let you control the temperature by yourself on the panel inside your room.

The front desk staff (one person per shift) is exceptionally friendly and kind. For example, I checked out my last day in the morning but had a very late night flight. In addition to holding my bags all day, when I returned after dinner to change clothes, he gave me a room key so that I wouldn’t have to change and reorganize my luggage in the (rooftop) bathroom, then service me delicious fruit tea while I killed more time in the lobby waiting for my car to the airport. The room is quite comfortable, and it’s an excellent location for restaurants, shopping, tram, and sightseeing.

Eccellente accoglienza per il check in con ottima disponibilità da parte dello staff per qualsiasi richiesta; le persone fanno la differenza. Consigliatissimo! Unica cosa dove si potrebbe migliorare è l'areazione nel bagno, ma per il resto la struttura è davvero molto pulita. Consiglio di arricchire la colazione con prodotti tipici turchi.
