• srinivas (10/5): - The location was very convenient, bang in the middle of old town and it had the prettiest stairs close by, which made for amazing pics. The room was exactly as described and the pillows were the most comfortable.The room was clean and the check in check out process was smooth. The stairs were a bit cumbersome to carry the luggage.

• D. Dina (8/5): Ok, but Beware of Fourth Floor Safety Hazard. - The location was great--right in the old town. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The biggest issue is that we were on the fourth floor, which meant there were big rafters in the bedroom and the living room and it was very easy to bump your head. We bumped ours many times, and as a past concussion survivor, this felt very worrisome. Also, while we could handle the four flights since we only had carry-ons, this would have been difficult for someone with a lot of heavy luggage or other mobility issues. I do believe the property has apartments on lower floors, where neither of this would be an issue. The kitchen was adequate to cook with decent pots and a stovetop, but there was no cutting board, or cooking oil, or other basic supplies we found in other apartments.

The coffee machine in the foyer was a nice touch A blanket in the apartment would have been nice , was quite cold . A clean up of the apartment at least once during longer stays would have been great

• Judith (9/5): - Great, quiet location in the heart of the city walls. Four flights of stairs, no lift. The front door to the whole building is locked with a key which would make getting out quickly in an emergency impossible. For safety there should be a push lock or similar instead.

• JDo Paris (8/5): - Petit appartement en plein centre historique au calme malgré la cohue dans les rues. Très propre et confortable, parfait pour visiter la vieille ville. Équipement de la cuisine très minimal. Mansardé et bas de plafond dans la chambre. A éviter si vous êtes très grand.

• Amy (7/5): - The apartment is spacious so makes you feel at home, has most of the needed facilities for a comfortable stay (pots and pans, kettle, espresso downstairs...etc) great location, but given how small the old town is, that's to be expected. The apartment could be cleaner, the floor was dirty and I found hair in the sink and the bed. My biggest issue and concern was that one day I went back to the apartment in the afternoon and it smelled strongly of male cologne. I'm a solo female traveller, so the only explanation is that someone was in my room without informing me which didn't make me feel very at ease. At check out I saw that the person in charge of cleaning is a male, so it might've been him. Nothing was taken and if there was a genuine reason for him to be in my room (fixing something...etc) I would've appreciated being informed of that beforehand.

• Peter (10/5): Fabulous location, spacious and well appointed apartment, fabulous staff and wonderful city. - The location was fabulous. The staff were also outstanding. The young lady who met us did our washing for free and carried our bags to the third floor whilst we explored the town waiting for our room to be ready . I hurt my back during our stay and another member of staff helped by calling paramedics and arranged for them to visit. She waited to let them into the apartment. I can't speak highly enough of the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Very clean and spacious apartment with everything you need for your stay. Not an issue, but be aware that older buildings like this do not have lifts!

Issue with bathroom toilet seat not being attached. Bookings comments indicated airport shuttle. Was not available to us due to the early morning flight.

It is the most beautiful city and it was so easy to pop in and out of our apartment all day while sightseeing. There were no stairs to our apartment from the Pile Gate which was very helpful. There were stairs up to our apartment on level 3 but they would be okay for most able- bodied people.

No stairs to get to the apartment very close to Pile gate(but 3 floors of stairs to your room). Hosts were very helpful and accessible. Nothing. Small apartment but that is expected in Dubrovnik.

Only minus was lack of instructions for safety deposit box. Quite pricey but probably standard rate in the Old Town.

Great air conditioning- much needed reprieve after the heat of the day. The bed was REALLY soft…. When you lie down, your legs end up being higher than your head because you disappear into the mattress and topper. No extra pillows provided - only 1/person. Sloped ceilings in bedroom meant i banged my head several times when navigating about the bedroom. Sloped shower in bathroom meant my 6ft1 travel companion couldn’t stand up straight in the shower. Apartment was on 4th floor of building with no lift - not a huge issue for us, but would be for individuals with mobility issues.

Immeuble ancien dans une ruelle. Beaucoup de charme. Fenêtres fermées, on entendait les voisins et les bruits dans la rue pourtant très peu passante. Peu de pression dans la douche où l eau avait du mal à s évacuer. Douchette défaillante.

The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities you could require. Wasn't an issue for us but you do have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to your room.

Good size and nice modern bathroom and kitchen The boiler was leaking when we arrived and flooding bathroom and downstairs. It was replaced next morning after good communication with owner but caused some disturbance to stay. Otherwise would be 10.

Good supply of hot water for the shower. Bed linen and towels changed regularly. Quiet location. No steps up the side street to get there. Taxi booked for us from and to the airport with no trouble by Annamaria. If you were on the top floor a lift would be handy but old building so not possible. We were on 1st floor so not a problem

Easy to access from the Pile Gate, no stairs to get to the property. We stayed on the 2nd floor, but the gentleman that works there help us with our luggage. The apartment is as described, and very confortable. A place to recommend a 100% We requested to extend the stay for one more day because of itinerary changes with the airline. At the begining they offer it and then they told us it was not available.

• Cindy (10/5): Beautiful apartment in the heart of Old Dubrovnik with free laundry services! - The apartment was spacious for two people and had good amenities. It was quiet and had high ceilings and a great layout. It was beautifully furnished and in an excellent location to enjoy the old city. The lovely staff did our laundry for free and put the neatly folded clean clothes into out apartment while we were out for the day. This was wonderful as the temperatures were in the high 30's, which necessitated laundering our clothes. There are restaurants and small grocery stores nearby as well as a farmer's market with fresh produce like figs. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. The keys were not in the lockbox when they arrived. However our plane was delayed by almost 2 days and we were not sure of our exact arrival time. When I contacted the hosts, they brought the keys over within a few minutes, so all was well.

• Rhianna (9/5): Great location, good size apartments and comfortable beds. - Great location within the old town walls, I wasn’t sure how many steps we’d have to go up/down to get to the villa from the pile gate, turns out it was none! Which was wonderful. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a couple flights of stairs so if you’re not great with steps ask for a lower floor if possible. Apartment was a great size for two people, good amount of room to move about and keep luggage etc. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Room was quiet once the windows and shutters were closed. Perfect location to be able to walk anywhere within the walls, close enough to all the commotion but far enough to not hear it. and super close to the pile gate where you can grab a taxi if you need to explore any further. The hot water runs out pretty quickly, but it also heats up again pretty quick so just need to space showers out if you’re having a longer one to wash hair or whatever.
• Rachel (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment in a great part off Dubrovnik. The staff were exceptional, and the bed comfy. The only thing was the kitchen of a restaurant backed onto our Lane where the staff spent time and at night, there was a bit of noise, but really it wasn't too disturbing

• Adrian (10/5): This property was beautiful and wonderful and I hope to one day visit again. - The property is was absolutely lovely and felt like a home away from home. It’s centrally located in Old Town and very close to the Pile Gate. Everything was extremely clean and very comfortable. The property owners were very helpful and great with communication. I really appreciated that they helped us out with pointers for activities, advice on how to travel for the airport and they even loaned us an extra key so that I could go to the beach while my husband slept in. They even helped us by doing a small load of laundry which was a huge help. They even had clean beach towels for guests to use for swimming. Overall, it is one of the best experiences we’ve had in a very long time. You can tell that they put forth a lot of effort in making guests feel comfortable and they a keen eye for small details such as the decor, basic apartment necessities such as AC and kitchen accessories and ease of checkin and checkout. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a stay there. Honestly, I have no complaints about this property- just praises.

The location was perfect, close to everything but it didnt have any noise when we went to sleep. And Anamaria was really kind and attentive, she pick us up ate the entrance of the old town and guide us to the flat, explaining everything to us about the city. It was a lovely time!!
