Beds are okay and staff are helpful. There was a foul smell in the corridor near my room. Some furniture was old and the bathroom sealants were chipped.
• bobbyh41 (2/5): Terrible Stay - Due to a colleague's wedding at the Aston Convention Center, my family and I spent one night in a deluxe room. Although the motel needed renovations and was outdated, it was nonetheless acceptable. The largest problem I had was a clogged toilet at night, which prevented the toilet from flushing and overflowed. The toilet had been fixed when I got back, but sadly, it hadn't been cleaned, so the bathroom was filthy, with remnants of the repairs and an abundance of toilet waste. When I went into the restroom the following morning, I discovered a foul stench and discovered that the exhaust system was also malfunctioning. I'm not sensitive about hotel rooms, but I regret to inform you that this was my first and final visit.
• Nigel (8/5): - Very clean and efficiently run hotel There is no AC in the lobby areas , I spoke to a receptionist who told me they are not allowed to put it on. He however wad sitting beside an industrial portable AC machine. There are 3 elevators however 2 of them do not work and are out of order. But there are no signs to say ' out of order' and thus big queues of people ( on all floors) standing beside a lift door which is never going to open . I told the reception that written signs on the lift doors saying " out of order " might be a sensible thing to do.

My stay at this hotel was okay, but there are a few things that need improvement. The building and facilities are quite old, and it really shows. The floor in my room was not very clean, which was disappointing. The overall condition of the hotel feels outdated, and it would be great if they could upgrade or renovate some areas. The staff were polite, but the hotel itself needs better maintenance to provide a more comfortable experience for guests.

Breakfast had a good variety, the Wi-Fi connection was strong, and the pool area with its relaxing atmosphere made the stay enjoyable. There were mosquitoes in the room and around some common areas. Suggestions -The hotel could improve by carrying out more regular pest control to reduce mosquitoes for guests’ comfort.

The service exceeded my expectation, their staff are friendly and responsive. They really go above and beyond to make guests feel comfort and happy. • Muthia (5/5): Staff and breakfast were ok, hotel quality the worst we ever stayed at. - the location, but it's because we need to meet our fanily member somewhere in Denpasar, so depending on your needs the location may or may not be best for you I saw the comments from other guests and I don't think I really need to list one by one what can be improved....some bad comments even came from 7 years a go and there's no improvement on the hotel. The reason why I chose the hotel was I naively thought if I booked the most expensive room then maybe it's the most OK one, turned out it was not the case. But please remember, the staff was kind and reliable, the location was ok, breakfast also OK, the bad things are mostly about the facility and the fact that most parts of the hotel seem dark and dirty. Some that I can remember at the top of my mind: - Moldy bathroom (we have 2 bathrooms in our room) both were moldy. This is a major redflag for us cause we're traveling with a toddler. - Both of our toilets were clogged after we did the number 2, I mean toilets are built for that purpose?? If it clogged whenever you do number 2, what's actually happening? And to 2 separate toilets in our room - Bed? Almost similar to water bed, whenever I move my husband at the other end of the bed would feel it, it's like the bed does not have any resistance at all - Parking lot, we parked our car on the basement, the basement either does not have lights or they intentionally turned it off, so whenever we got out of the car it felt like entering a haunted hotel. Plus it was dirty. - My husband mistakenly pressed the first floor (or basement??) while we stayed on the second floor on our way to our room with the elevator, the door opened and it was like we witnessed a scene from a ghost movie (there was part of the hotel roof on the first floor that already collapsed and the floor was also completely dark) To the hotel management, you do not have to reply to this message, you can, but I hope it's with the intention to actually do something about your building maintenance, otherwise it's useless.

When I was choosing a family room, there were two options: one with a king-size bed and two regular beds, and another one with four regular beds. I immediately disliked the second option, so I booked the one with the king-size bed and two regular beds. That room was available at the time of booking, so I reserved and fully paid for it almost two weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was shocked to find out that my prepaid and confirmed room had simply been given away to someone else. They offered me the exact room I had specifically rejected — with four regular beds. That’s how they treat their guests: you pay for one thing, and they force you into something else. Even though the hotel is only 14 years old, the condition of the rooms is appalling. Everything is shaky and poorly maintained, the furniture creaks, and the air conditioners are so loud it’s impossible to sleep. The bed sheets are damp, there are tons of mosquitoes in the room — you just can’t relax. The bathrooms constantly smell like sewage. The toilets are filthy, and I found someone else’s hair in the sinks. I booked and paid through Trip.com and realized this is the first time in my life I skipped reading the negative reviews (which I usually trust the most). It’s obvious the hotel is scamming Trip.com by submitting outdated photos and misleading information. For example, all rooms look neat and clean in the pictures, but in reality — it’s a nightmare. The description says nothing about the hotel not guaranteeing the number or size of beds in the room you book. But the hotel lies and claims it’s all clearly stated and they don’t guarantee anything. Total scam. Strongly not recommended. A huge disappointment. I paid for two nights, but I’m checking out after the first one — this place is so bad, you just need to run and never look back.

• 928febriar (8/5): A stretegic hotel at the city center of Denpasar - A hotel with strategic location at the city center. It has a good service and the food is varied and tastes good. The best pount is it serves refill drinking water on the corridor completed with its drinking tools in each room so we don't need to worry to get less water and no need to spend more just for buying bottles of mineral water outside. The family room is comfortable and I think all the rooms are spacious with their full set amenities and facilities.

• jopietrigeany (4/5): The worst 4 stars hotel I’d stayed so far - Never ever stay in this hotel, no matter what. Keep in mind: this is a 4 stars hotel. The only reason I don’t rate 1 star because the bedroom is clean. Let me provide you the brief (1) In the 1st day of staying, I laundry my clothes and it was returned damp. I had to dry it using hair dryer. In addition, I had to pay the laundry charge immediately as it’d returned. It can’t be charged to the room (never witness this kind of practice in other 4 stars hotel). Furthermore, I had to proactively contact the front office asking the laundry to be returned. (2) Still about the laundry. In the evening of the 1st day, there’s no laundry list provided in the room. When I ask the staff (when he returned my 1st day laundry clothes), he told me that they are running out of the list, so he told me just to put the clothes (to be laundries) in the laundry basket (box) and tomorrow morning (the 2nd day) it would be picked up by the staff. I followed the instruction and guess what happened when I back to the room in the evening (the 2nd day)? The clothes were still in the box with an empty laundry list form on it. (3) They left a dirty mop (I think used to clean the room) on the table of the living room (I stayed in the Deluxe Premier). This is unbelievable, really unbelievable. (4) I think they have problem with the bathroom piping maintenance. There’s unpleasant stinky smell came out after I use the flush or sink. (5) The TV channels are very limited, around 30 channels only. No CNN, CNA, CNBC, BBC, HBO, etc. (6) The breakfast choices were relatively much much less compare to other 4 stars hotel in Bali. Moreover, majority of the table arrangement is for 10 pax (a big round table) with no preparation at all. Just an empty tables. (7) The room (and front office area in general) had a strong aroma of jasmine flower because they use a kind of aroma oil. I requested to remove the aroma oil from the room. However, the aroma/smell stays for at least 3 days (until the day I checked out). It seems like the aroma is staying forever. A question left is “is this the new standard of Aston Hotel chain globally or only happened in Denpasar?”
• Mohd (6/5): Pleasant - Location Friendly staffs 1) Air cond leaking water 2) Toilet flush botton broken during stay but was repaired by housekeeping the next morning without reporting 3) Hand bidet broken during stay but was replaced the next morning. 4) housekeeping did not clear trash outside of the bin. they just rearranged the trashs. 5) housekeeping is very stingy with amneties. did not replace shavers, hand soap and liquid shampoo and shower gels at all. they only gave for the first 2 days of my 9 day- stay.

Great care was taken to ensure gluten-free food for me at breakfast. My only complaint is that I couldn't find a WhatsApp contact number or an email address on Trip.com to contact the hotel beforehand, and as I had some issues with my phone, it was hard to contact them. For the price charged, this was a very good experience

Aston! do better! - We like it because it's near Bali bird park and not far away from the airport. we give 10 for the staff it balance out the things we didn't like. We don't mind an old hotel building as long as it is clean and well maintained. The hotel is dirty and smells weird. The restaurant is dirty, the floor is sticky, table cloths are dirty and sticky it seems like they did not care at all about hygiene and cleanest. The breakfast choices (I guess) were enough choice, we lost our appetite once we sat and felt the sticky tablecloth. Maybe they can just remove all the table cloth? I don't know.. but I did not recommend this hotel for staying longer than 1 night.

• I (5/5): Not a great experience - Strategic location - Old hotel - Upon check in I was given a room that was half ready - extra bed was set up when I was already in the room - have requested extra bed in advance. - Lack of commimunication between departments - Breakfast choice is limited. Couldn't find the fruit station - Needed almost half an hour to refill milk. The staff seem confused (didn't know what to do)
• Parekohai (8/5): Clean, plenty of room, great food. Stay here😃 - Clean, friendly staff, loved the breakfasts with plenty of tasty choices of both food and drinks. Nice class of family and Indonesian tourists. Location a bit far from tourist things.
