• christine (8/5): A convenient, friendly hotel with excellent breakfast - The breakfast is excellent, the staff very helpul and friendly. The hotel is handy for the tram network (the 24 from the central station stops just by the hotel) or a walk to Musuemplein. And there is a lift! In general it's a very good place for a short stay. Our comfort double room had no cupboard or shelves, only hangars on a rail for clothes. This would be OK for one night but not so convenient for 2 people staying for 3 nights. The bedside tables were very small, and the desk narrow, so there was little space to put computers, magazines etc. Also there are no USB sockets in the rooms.

• Barbara (10/5): Schöner Aufenthalt in gut gelegenem Hotel mit außergewöhnlich freundlichem Personal - Das gesamte Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Hotel fühlt sich dadurch sehr familiär und heimelig an. Das Zimmer ist zwar etwas klein, aber es war sauber, schön und modern. Der Balkon hat eine super Größe und war durch die Innenhoflage auch sehr angenehm und ruhig. Das Frühstück kann man ebenfalls nur loben, es war frisch, gut und definitiv für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ein rundum empfehlenswertes Hotel, da auch die Lage wirklich top ist und man fußläufig alles gut erreichen kann.
• Matthieu (8/5): Nice hotel and great location - The location of the hotel is great, close to the historic center and the museums (walking distance), in a calm area. Public transportations are very convenient to move around. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. This is great to have a coffee machine in the room, with new coffee available everyday. Cleanliness was not so great, it seems that the hotel was a bit struggling with house keeping, potentially on a temporary basis. Our room was quite small, with limited opportunity to store our clothes.

There is a breakfast room with a small terrace and complimentary coffee/tea/water service from noon to 7pm. The rooms were a bit small (not uncommon in Amsterdam), split airconditioning unit and the mini fridge were a bit noisy.

• Michael (7/5): The hotel has small rooms and minimal communal space, but a good bed and excellent location - The location is great, a 10 minute walk to Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, even closer to Concertgebouw. Parking in Amsterdam is difficult and expensive but we found the large car park under Museumplein, entrance opposite Concertgebouw, perfect for the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. Rooms are small, breakfast is expensive

• Yi Ting (9/5): Good location and comfortable hotel - Good location and pantry for us to ur when we need hot drinks I have made 2 bookings of 2 nights then another booking of subsequent 4 nights, totaling 6 nights altogether. Most of the staff I encountered are helpful and courteous except one staff who happens to help us for check in , who is on duty on 11 April 2026 @ 5 pm afternoon He is kinda impatient when I asked whether I can stay at the same room for the 6 nights altogether ( which I have requested earlier through booking.com) , he just mentioned that my reservation is for 2 nights , which makes me a little worried initially. When I request again only did he checked.

Nothing except one staff attitude which makes me not so comfortable as he is not used to international culture and his accents is hard for me to communicate. The rest of the staff is super helpful and polite, especially a staff who helps us to get on an uber . Thanks. The room is comfortable enough and easy for us to get to all places.

Er was een 'hotelkat', op zich een leuk idee om een huiskat in het hotel te hebben. Alleen wat minder fijn wanneer die kat om 5 uur in de ochtend aan je kamerdeur aan het krabben is. Een kattenbak in de ontbijtzaal is ook niet echt smakelijk.

The staff were very friendly and we had a comfortable night's stay. We picked up the no 12 tram from Amsterdam Central which took us virtually to the door of the hotel. The bar on the other side of the road - Café Wildschut - is great for a drink, especially on the terrace when the sun is shining. Tremendous value for Amsterdam.

Aunque era un bajo entraba luz y te dejaban tomar café o infusion gratis en la zona del desayuno durante el día. Era una habitación realmente pequeña, aunque suficiente para pocas noches y pasar poco tiempo. El baño mínimo, además la ducha con cortinas, y se salía el agua. Pero todo limpio y bien aprovechado. El desayuno muy normalito por 19 euros. Aunque para las opciones de alojamiento que hay en amsterdam creo que no se puede pedir más por ese dinero
