Hotel's breakfast... looks like you are in a hospital, not the food but the people around (you don't know exactly if you are in a plastic surgery waiting room or in a hotel, you need a strong stomach to eat there in the morning).

- Pichakol (8/5): - Great stay at Somerset Park Suanplu Bangkok! The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for both short and longer stays. The location is convenient in a quieter area but still close to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Overall a very pleasant experience. would definitely come back! Only thing is the lights inside the apartment, would be great if it was white instead of yellow, that helps a lot especially when you’re trying to do your makeup or just trying to get ready before going out, the yellow light makes it a bit harder to get quickly ready

The breakfast was too much like dinner and the hotel being the hotel of choice for Aussie cosmetic surgery tourists was not quite the vibe for a young family on holiday.

- Alexandre (8/5): Bon séjour dans l’ensemble - Grand appartement 2 chambres que nous avions réservé avec machine à laver et cuisine bien pratique 15/20 min du métro à pied, le personnel qui ne vous salue jamais lorsque vous passez devant la réception… il est noté 5 étoiles sur booking, seulement 4 sur Google. 5 transats pour la totalité de l’hôtel au bord de la piscine.

Attentive and caring from doormen to lovely cleaners, reception and hospitality staff and drivers. Thank you for the beautiful rooms and buffet breakfast too. We look forward to coming back again. - eugenia (10/5): Recomendado - Las habitaciones para 4 son amplias, cómodas, limpias y bonitas. El personal es disponible y servicial. Esta en una zona muy cómoda donde puedes hacer todo andando. La piscina es bonita aunque el agua algo fría. Lo único que destacaría es el desayuno, que para ser un 5* es algo ajustado..pero estaba bueno.

- Sigal (9/5): Great stay in Bangkok - Big rooms, clean, great staff.- everyone of the staff members went out of their way to assist us. Washing machine in the room! Was very helpful. We needed to wait long times for the Grab taxi to get us to the attractions.and rides were long. I guess it’s Bangkok traffic!

- Andreas Thoni (9/5): Super Appartments in zentraler Lage - Wir waren schon mehrmals im Sumerset Suanplu, da die Appartment sehr groß und hervorragend ausgestattet sind. Es fehlt nichts und man hat sogar eine Waschmaschine im Appartment. Der Swimmingpool ist sehr groß und eignet sich bestens zum Schwimmen. Es liegt sehr zentral mit tollen Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Trotzdem ist es im Hotel sehr ruhig. Das Personal behandelt uns schon wie alte Bekannte. Wir haben kein Frühstück gebucht, daher kann ich hierzu nichts beurteilen.

- Peter (8/5): Gutes Hotel mit großzüggien Appartments - Großzügige Appartments nach Wahl mit 1/2 Schlafzimmern, mit Balkon im Botschaftsviertel. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Äußerst freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Im Appartment hat man schon gesehen, dass das Hotel etliche Jahre in Betrieb ist. Die Möbel, das Bad wiesen deutliche Gebrauchsspüren auf. Geruch im Bad muffig. Ehemalige Wasserschäden sichtbar. Trotzdem gutes Hotel, aber sicher keine 5 Sterne.

- Marco (1/5): - Nice hotel and good position They have a partnership with a plastic surgery clinic. It seems to stay in a hospital with post surgery cases everywhere at breakfast. Quite disgusting if you are just on holiday and want to enjoy it. Avoid

When I paid on Booking.com it said price included our 7 year old however we had to pay extra 900 Baht per night upon arrival for a bed to be added to room. I may have selected a different hotel if I knew about this fee when booking the hotel as the other hotels I booked through this platform had the cost for extra bed included. I opened a dispute with Booking.com who still haven't responded a week later. The rooms are a bit run down not quite as nice as photos but generally fine in terms of facilities supplied.

Это точно не отель 5* Очень все стареньким выглядит и также на ощупь. Очень бедненькое. Бассейн очень скромный, без вида и скорее для галочки. Если бы в описании это значилось как 4 или 3 звезды, можно было бы сказать все нормально. Но для 5* точно не нормально. Читал отзывы полные восторга и очень удивился, когда приехал. Кто это пишет?!

- Aristeidis (9/5): Although a bit on the expensive side, the overall experience was superb. - Great location and a fully equipped apartment with amazing balcony view. Overall I enjoyed the comfort and the services. Slightly overpriced for Thailand standards and the location is a bit far from the metro station.

- Laura (6/5): Lovely hotel but should have mentioned its ties with the cosmetic surgery hospital - Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating - first class Room was clean and well equipped and very spacious Beds comfortable Good location for accessing park and surrounding area The hotel is based in very close proximity to a cosmetic surgery hospital - with a shuttle bus to the hospital and some of the clinic on the top floors of the hotels building I believe. Naturally, the hotel was the choice of accommodation for those recovering from their surgeries. At breakfast, in the lift and hotel lobby the majority of guests had facial stitches/ black eyes and bruises, wrapped in bandages or compression straps. People were chatting across the tables about their healing at breakfast. Whilst I have no problem with this in priciple ( and I'm sure would find it appealing in their position to have a community of support whilst recovering), guests should have been made aware of this very clearly prior to booking. It felt like we were eating Breakfast in a hospital ward. We had two small children with us and it didn't feel appropriate for them seeing people in pain. Its a shame because it meant we mainly avoided the common areas.
