• Voyage39981623888 (10/5): A friendly small hotel - We were upgraded (thanks) to a very pleasant room on 4th floor overlooking the street. Well-decorated, spacious room with comfortable bed and good lighting. However, the storage space was limited. The bathroom was cramped and a shower rather than a bath might be better, particularly for elderly visitors like us! Very close to Metro - but some may not like the slight noise - with supermarket and several restaurants nearby.

We were in one of the largest rooms on first floor-street facing. Metro right there was convenient! Stairway across street to access verde couvee walkway. So disappointed that my first floor double window flowerboxes had brown dead flowers. Was really a bummer as it detracted immensely from beauty of room and hotel This was a mid may stay and no rationale for not placing some fresh geraniums or allysum or other simple flower. All the window boxes on this floor had dead plants. Also no dairy milk or cream readily available for coffee in lobby or room Only oatmilk. However I finally realized I could ask staff for dairy milk--but did not have it in room.

O apartamento é extremamente limpo, organizado e muito aconchegante, proporcionando uma estadia confortável e agradável em todos os detalhes. A localização é excelente, com fácil acesso às estações de metrô e bonde, o que torna a locomoção pela cidade muito prática. Além disso, a região conta com ótima infraestrutura: há opções como McDonald’s e Burger King na esquina, além de mercado, padaria e pizzarias na mesma rua, trazendo ainda mais comodidade ao dia a dia. Sem dúvida, uma excelente escolha para quem busca conforto, praticidade e uma ótima experiência de hospedagem. Recomendo fortemente. Tudo perfeito!

• Rafaela (8/5): A pleasant stay, in a beautiful area! - The hotel was very clean, cozy and the location very convenient, reaching central Paris in 25 minutes by metro. The staff was very polite and helpful. They accommodate us by allowing us to stay one hour extra of the check out time. They stored our luggage after that until we were ready to leave. They also had us stay on the top floor as requested with great views of the avenue. A nice touch was that coffee and water is in offer at all times for free. The room had a mini fridge and water was replenished daily. The breakfast can be improved. Currently they do not offer any hot food options or meat cuts and the variety was limited. The orange juice machine can be replaced, as it takes ages to produce juice and the main button is difficult to press. Unfortunately when we visited the air condition was not switched to cool and it can only operate under one mode until end of May. At midday the air condition switched on automatically to hot, meaning that if you were not in the room to switch it off, you returned to the room later in the day to find it boiling hot. The first night was uncomfortable to sleep in due to the temperature of the room. The room offers a safe, which was great but as a recommendation, this needs to be bolted in the wardrobe for safety instead of standing freely.

I think the person who creat that hotel knows exactly what someone is looking in Paris and ajust each details of the hotelroom to match it. Even on the TV, we had heartfelt recommendations. I experimented exactly what I expected in Paris. T h a n k y o u 💛 I had a double room I was alone but the size was just right. (I didn't gave 5 stars only because of the size of the elevator)

• Stephen (8/5): Good location, great staff, clean and decent hotel, small rooms. - Located a five minute walk from the magnificent Bois de Vincennes Park, the Hôtel De La Porte Dorée is located in Paris’ 12th arrondissement. The hotel is older, but very well-kept, and did not look worn. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was ok. It was clean but small (expected in Paris), with a decent sized bathroom with a shower only. The bed was a bit too firm, but serviceable. There was no closet, per se, but an open Ikea-like closet shelf and hanger set-up (not very user friendly). Overall, the location and cleanliness of the room were fine for a short stay (two days), but anything longer term would have become more uncomfortable for two people because of the size of the room.

They even gave us a discount card, upgraded our rooms, and took the time to explain how the metro works, which made getting around much easier. Each day, the room was carefully cleaned and restocked, which added a nice touch of comfort. Breakfast was varied ,offering something for every taste. On top of that, the hotel’s location right next to Metro Line 8 made exploring the city easier, as it conveniently runs through the entire area.

• Stephen (8/5): - Location was very central, but the area was a bit touristy with many tourists shops. Metro was within 10m of the front door. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Room 12, where we stayed, was right next to the hotel's public toilet and there wa a lot of traffic in and out of the toilet which had a very loud door when it closed each time. Very noisy.

Персонал 10з 10 прибирали номер щодня, також хотілось би зауважити що в готелі є маленький ліфт, що зручно якщо ви живете на вищих поверхах. Багато хто жаліється на шум метро, в нас був номер на 4 поверсі, вікна виходили в двір, жодного разу не чули метро чи якогось іншого шуму. Брали номер без сніданків, так як в цьому немає ніякого сенсу, навпроти є смачна буланжерія, кафе, ресторани та супермаркети. Одним словом, однозначно повернемось в цей чудовий готель, і вам рекомендую його обрати!

Excellent location with a walk along the Coulee Vert a particularly enjoyable activity and a nice nearby park, along with access to the metro and all of Paris. A nice TV for watching movies, great bath and a terrace too. Nothing really.

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, man hat die Qualität der Produkte geschmeckt, besonders gut waren der Kaffee, das frisch geschnittene Obst und der frische Orangensaft sowie eine gute Auswahl an Müsli. Dazu die liebevolle Einrichtung, die Kerze sowie überall frische Blumen. Es ist ein altes Gebäude und dadurch hellhörig.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Aware of when the metro trains tho got use to it and they stopped overnight.

Прямо у отеля вход в метро Porte Doreé (8 ветка), ещё есть автобус и трамвай. На метро до центра 20-30 минут. Сам отель очень милый, уютный, приветливый персонал. Есть лифт, очень узенький, но есть. Номер хороший, интерьер в парижском стиле, чисто. Ванная комната хорошая, но миниатюрная очень. В номере были халаты, тапочки, чайник, все необходимое, но кофемашина только на ресепшене. Температура в номере регулировалась отлично. Уборкой тоже остались довольны. Очень маленькая раковина и душевая. Нужно учитывать габариты)

• Jörg (8/5): Der Aufenthalt war angenehm. - Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal sehr nett . Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Bad modern. Da es ein altes Haus ist hat es ,zumindest in unserem Zimmer, immer nach Feuchtigkeit gerochen.

The bus lline in front of the hotel is good & frequent it also doesn't link up to many major venues.
