- Zalazar (9/5): Very recommended if you’re staying in Amsterdam. - Perfect location. Walking distance from the train station, it’s located in the very center of everything. Calm and beautiful neighborhood near the canals and important spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable. They have shared toilets and showers, they were clean anyways.

- Frédérique (5/5): Mis à part l'hôtel séjour parfait! - L'emplacement est parfait, à proximité de ttes les activités principales. Le personnel est sympathique, accueillant. Le petit déjeuner adapté à toutes les nationalités. Nous étions ds une chambre annexe à l'hôtel ce qui en soit ne pose pas de pb mais ns avions une tte petite chambre d'environ 7m carrés avec une fenêtre en hauteur que ns pouvions à peine ouvrir et à part la vue sur quelques tuiles et un petit bout de ciel ns ne voyions rien, ce qui peut être vite étouffant et angoissant. La photo de la chambre que j'avais reçu la veille ne correspondait en rien à celle que l'on ns a attribué, les lits superposés étaient plus adaptés à des enfants qu'à des adultes et juste 2 tabourets pour se poser. La douche sur le pallier est très petite et mis à part un petit porte manteau, rien pour poser ses affaires, serviette... D'autre part sur les 3 nuits que nous avons passé nous n'avons pratiquement pas dormi, les portes des chambres, toilettes, douches se referment automatiquement et claquent très fort. Le balai incessant des entrées-sorties était insupportable. A noter que l'escalier pour accéder à l'étage est très étroit donc ne pas venir avec des valises. Le jour de notre départ nous avons demandé à déjeuner à 7h, notre bus ayant été avancé d'une heure mais le buffet n'ouvrant qu'à 7h30 on ns a proposé uniquement quelques pancakes et un jus de fruit alors que le petit déjeuner était inclus dans la prestation. On ne m'a pas proposé de dédommagement, pas très correct de leur part.

We will come back. - The staff, the location and the toilets and showers which were really nice for shared ones and the room was pretty big and comfortable. The breakfast was also nice and well provided. Everybody was really helpful and attended us really good. We had noisy neighbours that single night we spent there, although that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. The fact that the stairs are really steep and there is no lift in the place where we were was not easy with a stroller. Also the price for a little hotel with shared bathroom and toilet is too expensive, but this is how expensive Amsterdam is.

We were allocated at the 3rd floor in a very nice room but unfortunately that part of the hotel didn’t have lift which the staff have already explained during check in. They have offered help with our luggages. The stairs are steep especially at the top.

- ChrisShylockGill (8/5): Disappointed - “Overall, my stay was good. However, I’m not sure if this is something the hotel controls, but some bedmates were not cooperative. I believe reception should advise guests not to turn on lights after midnight and to prepare their luggage in advance if they have an early checkout. Unfortunately, some guests turned on the lights at 4am and made a lot of noise while packing, which disturbed others. This happened on both nights of my stay. This is not my first time staying in a hostel—I travel a lot—but this was the first time I faced this issue, and it was not comfortable for me.”

- Matthew (10/5): Excellent small relaxed hotel within easy walking distance of all the attractions - Positioned in a great location, making all the popular attractions easily walkable. Friendly staff and clean. There are shared facilities as all the literature suggests but it was all perfectly fine. We enjoyed the communal eating and drinking area which was a good place to relax . When we got there we did realise that there were a few red light premises near to our part of the hotel. Shocked the misses a little but entertained myself and my daughter who has enjoyed the stories ever since.

- Radovan (9/5): All great, really for that value, the position of 8 min from train station , in center of the city. - Atmosphere, Lobby, Employees, People. All clean and fully operational. Excellent. The beds were quite noisy, with every movement producing a loud, metallic clanging sound, but everything else was flawless.

Buona la colazione, peccato per qualche stanza che dicono che sia per 3 persone , invece a malapena può andare bene per due persone, infatti il primo giorno abbiamo cambiato stanza per lo spazio troppo ridotto.

Rue très calme La disposition de la chambre, 1 seule petite fenêtre au niveau de la mezzanine donc en bas aucune lumière naturelle. La taille des WC : minuscules, les genoux qui touchent la porte. La mauvaise insonorisation : on entend mes voisins prendre leur douche et la vmc de la douche reste en route très longtemps après la douche et est très bruyante.

El espacio de la habitación (doble, litera) MUY chico, bastante incómodo. El segundo edificio no tiene ascensor, lo cual hace la subida con maletas muy incómodo y difícil. Podrían poner cocina compartida y alguna sala de estar en este edificio también.

Great location for exploring Amsterdam and an easy walk from the central station BUT there are several red light ‘ladies’ in the alley between the main hotel and its annexe. This means you can’t look out of the cafe/restaurant area as you will be peering straight in 🤣. Also we were not told on check-in that the hotel offered breakfast.
