• Basir and Fouzia (10/5): A Great Hotel to stay in Istanbul Tuikiye. - Hotel Anadolu is a wonderfully convenient place to stay in Istanbul, Türkiye. The hotel is exceptionally clean, located on beautiful streets, and just a short walk from many of the city's top attractions and must-see sights.
• Ali (8/5): - Gutes Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Leider kein Fahrstuhl vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein und das Badezimmer Ist nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Ein paar kleine Alterserscheinungen sind im Bad deutlich zu erkennen. Das Frühstück ist gut & wechselt mit paar Kleinigkeiten täglich. Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

• Sheikh Humayun (8/5): Review - As a budget hotel spot on location and good overall service. On our 2nd day we found bed bugs twice. The bed looks pretty new but the base might get some bugs. Serious negative on that sense.

• Pinar (8/5): Sultanahmet - Fiyatına göre gayet iyi bir otel. Konumu harika. Ayasoyfa yerebatan sultanahmet cami yürüme mesafesinde çok yakın. Kahvaltıları gayet yeterli ve doyurucu. Otel çalışanları çok güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Konum ve kahvaltı bizim için önemliydi onlarda iyiydi. Odalar eski ve küçük ama biz sadece uyumak için odaya geldiğimiz için fiyatı baz aldık ve bu fiyata göre odalar sonuçta uyuyabilecek durumda. Yeniden gitsek tekrar aynı otelde kalırdık. Biz 4 kişi aile olarak 2 gece kaldık.

We moved to another place in the street - the new hotel was more expensive but significantly better on all aspects.

• Igor (10/5): A pleasant budget-friendly hotel with a breakfast - The hotel room itself was a typical room, except the bathroom was a bit crammed and shower head needed replacement (water was just dropping down instead of being properly spraying, making for an awkward shower). The breakfast was EXCELLENT. Thank you! I was there for two nights, but the room was not cleaned and towels were not changed during my stay. The best thing, though, was that they gave me my room when I arrived very early, and they invited me for the breakfast (even though technically my first breakfast was to be had the next day). Thank you!

L'équipement des chambres n'est pas d'hier, il équivaut à un celui d'un motel américain ou canadien, mais en beaucoup plus propre et pour un prix très avantageux. Nous nous y sommes sentis en sécurité et nous y retournerions.

Επίσης δε λειτουργούσε το wi-fi. Το πρωινό ήταν καλό, η περιοχή υπέροχη δίπλα σε όλα τα αξιοθέατα της παλιάς πόλης και η θέα πολύ καλή.

• Penny (10/5): Suitable lodging I would choose again - I would choose this hotel again. It is within walking distance too many of the tourist sites. The room was clean and the housekeeper made sure to provide service. Breakfast was served every morning between 8 and 10 and was ample and feeling, although the variety was the same everyday. The biggest con was the shower was too small and a large person would not be able to get in the shower. The staff was hospitable and gave good service. The only person that could not speak English was the night staff. All in all the hotel was marvelous and the hotel manager was very helpful, polite, and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Perfect location - For Istanbul sightseeing the location is fantastic. It is a very basic hotel, but if your purpose is sightseeing then it is great. There is no elevator but we had a top floor room with a view that was worth the climb. The desk clerk was very happy to help with our bags. The breakfast buffet is very nice with wonderful fresh tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce as well as boiled eggs, bread, cheese, etc. There are lots of good cafes in the neighbourhood and a nice grocery store. Transportation from the airport via the metro requires 1 transfer and lets you off within a block and a half of the hotel.

• Colleen (10/5): Perfect budget friendly location! - I stayed two nights, in a single room. It was super tiny, but was all I needed. After all, I didn't go to Istanbul to stay in the hotel room. It was the absolute best location of any hotel I've been to and a good price. Nothing fancy, but wifi and full breakfast included.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly little hotel - Friendly people, perfect location, best to stay in the hotel proper rather than in the little apartment they have across the street if you can, it's warmer and has got wi-fi.
• Yoko (10/5): Great service, location, and homemade food - My mother, husband, and I stayed at Anadolu for a total of 4 nights, and we absolutely loved how centrally located the hotel was to all major attractions. Despite the location, the rooms were pretty quiet. The young men at the front desk were helpful and the man and wife, who we called Papa and Mama were so sweet to us. We had Mama's homemade manti dumplings and cabbage rolls and they were amazing. My husband and I travel a lot, and we thought this was one of the most hospitable places we've ever stayed at, which is a big part of the Turkish experience. I would highly recommend it for couples and families!
• Joe (8/5): Location, Location, Location and Staff Amazing - Awesome locations, Great staff, Great price for the location, the rooms are average. If you are at all picky then I not recommend this place but if you are into a great location, with great staff, and a good price this is your place.
• Patrick (4/5): I will not return to the Anadolu Hotel: - Not easy to find; a map would help as would making the hotel's sign more visible. This is clearly a low-cost hotel, and it comes with most of the usual negatives. The staff try to be friendly and helpful but are weak on followup. (More on this later.) The building is a walkup, no elevator. The stairs are a death-trap: steep, spiral, too narrow for half their width, and almost-functional railings on one side only. The rooms are tiny, mine a double with almost no storage space. There was a cabinet with room for the extra blanket, a couple of hangers, and a small shelf that would hold a few day's underwear. The cabinet, however, had a strong tendency to tip over onto the bed. I had to catch it several times. The bathroom was another death-trap: floor and shower were both slippery as ice, and nothing to hold onto. The room service was awful: bed not made when I moved in, then no room service at all except forone of five day. The complimentary breakfast was unremarkable. The last straw: I had asked the desk clerk about going to Izmir, by ferry and train on the day I checked out. He promised to make all the arrangements and confirmed when I checked with him later. I woke in the middle of the last night, realizing that the ferry leaves at 7 AM and I needed to get to the ferry terminal. I dragged myself out of bed at 5 and made all of the arrangements myself. Evidently he forgot!
• Katie (4/5): Could Have Been Better - The hotel location was good, and our room was spacious. There were several broken items in the room, however, and we had problems with both the power and the water while we were there. There is a very nice terrace with a good view, although we stayed three days and no one made up our room or provided fresh towels. The front desk staff didn't speak much English and it was difficult to get assistance with directions.
