They were able to accomodate plenty of gluten-free bread for the breakfast. There were no complains, had a lovely stay.

• Paula (8/5): Una excelente opción en Calafate - La habitación era grande y luminosa (grandes ventanas). Dormimos genial y la cama era comodísima. El desayuna era variado con huevos, yogurt y bollería. Un detalle curioso es que cuando sale al jardín de atrás te da la bienvenida un perro muy majo con ganas de jugar. Por decir algo, el baño estaba un poco viejito.
• José Luis (9/5): - La habitación tiene un muy buen tamaño y buena vista al lago Argentino (no plena pero bien). El desayuno también estaba muy bien. El restaurante muy bien y práctico tenerlo ahí ya que el hotel no está en el centro lo cual podría ser algo negativo pero para mí no ya que se accede fácilmente y además hay servicio de traslado sin cargo durante la tarde al centro ida y vuelta. Y el personal excelente, siempre muy atentos y con excelente predisposición.

• Betina (6/5): Estadia boa, áreas comuns confortáveis e espaçosas. Porém bastante cara para o tipo de quarto. - Limpeza e atendimento. Áreas comuns boas, arejadas e amplas. Quarto pouco ventilado, banheiro sem exaustor/ventilação, estrutura do prédio permite muita propagação de barulho. Chegamos em um dia bem quente para os padrões da Patagônia (quase 30º C) e o quarto estava MUITO quente. Tivemos que deichar a janelinha e porta do quarto abertas para tentar melhorar um pouco o "abafamento".

• Josefina (7/5): Comfortable estadía, algo alejada del centro. - Limpio, linda vista del lago. El personal fue muy amable. Un poco alejado del centro y, aunque esto lo sabíamos, no pensamos que nos iba a costar tanto conseguir taxi.
• Nure (9/5): Great hotel with unusual bed set up - Overall the hotel was very nice. The common area and breakfast room was clean and tidy. The views are also really great! The breakfast was very good with lots of options. You can also purchase a packed lunch for your activities. Our room was a decent size but we had a gigantic bed (2 double beds put together) that took up all the space. We barely had any space to open suitcases or move around.

• DesLangford (10/5): Lovely hotel but a bit distant from town - This is a lovely hotel an easy walk from the lakeside. Staff were helpful and the room was very nice. However it is quite distant from the the town and the shuttle bus is not very helpful - only starting in the afternoon and finishing early - so unless you have transport or hire a taxi you may be stuck in the hotel on an evening. Since the food was good this was not a problem for me. It is well worth visiting the Lago Nimez nature reserve the other side of town to see many birds. It is 90 minutes walk along the lakeside which would have been pleasant but for the very high winds which made it uncomfortable. I was told autumn is less windy .

• jgarcia_qgirl (10/5): Very nice! - The hotel is beautiful and clean , the breakfast is very good they have multiple selections of food, the shuttle bus service it’s a plus . We use it several times and they are always on time , receptionist we’re all very attentive, I love the fact that they use WhatsApp for any questions or concerns , staff for the restaurant are very nice and kind, we recommend this hotel .

• TATI (9/5): Bom hotel - Muito bom hotel. Café bem servido. Check-in e check-out super prático. A funcionária Cecília extremamente simpática. Como de costume em reserva na Argentina não foi descontado o IVA Reclamei mas fica o dito pelo não dito. Mas o hotel é bom e nos deram um quarto de frente pro lago que adoramos. Longe do centro mas estávamos de carro e não foi problema. Como os pontos turísticos são longe, vale a pena alugar um carro.

Estacionamento de frente para a pista, sem segurança, o que nos deixa um pouco apreensivos especialmente porque viajamos de automóvel.

• P4457SLpedrob (2/5): everything will be charged - The hotel is very beautiful, but the service is questionable. Nothing is included. If you want a wine glass, it costs 4,500 pesos. If you want them to open your bottle, that’s another 4,500 pesos. Even eating in your room costs 5,000 pesos — and that’s just for the option to eat there, not including the food or service. Basically, everything you want to do comes with an extra charge. The only things included are the overnight stay and breakfast.

• ga297 (8/5): Comfortable hotel - Booked here by our travel company but wouldn’t have chosen it as it’s on the edge of town well away from shops restaurants and other services. Shuttle bus service is not frequent.Nice location with a partial view of the lake. We arrived after a medical emergency and the receptionist was outstanding, responding to our needs quickly and efficiently. The rooms are comfortable if a little small. Some noise from conversations and tv in neighbouring rooms. The restaurant was fine for dinner with an interesting adequate choice of options and wine- very good helpful staff. Breakfast was also good but dominated by cakes and pastries. The lobby area was spacious, comfortable and very warm.

The food was actually quite good! Very comfortable breakfast and the staff was lovely. The room could do some work. Some of the knobs of the closet continuously fell off.

• MCami61 (6/5): Very average - Quite disappointed and would have given 2 on 5 if not for the nice lobby and good service from the bar. No assistance with luggage to the room. Check-in and check-out very slow as only one staff at reception. Restaurant has a very limited menu. Hotel is far and shuttle buses are too few, only every hour. Finally the room is very basic and too hot. (Not possible to regulate the heating). We slept with an open window and it was still too hot.

• MMBuist (10/5): Excellent hotel - Lovely hotel. Check in was efficient and friendly. Staff service was excellent throughout the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. I was especially pleased to have a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast was very good as was the meal choice at dinner. The hotel offers a bus shuttle in and out of town. We reserved places but nobody checked our reservation. Luckily we did get seats on the bus but it would be frustrating to book and then find that you didn’t get a seat. The bar closes at 8. Maybe we were there in low season. We would have loved to retire to the bar for a nightcap after dinner but that wasn’t possible.

• Parisaglobetrotting (6/5): Could be nicer - Checking out on 25th August . We were shocked to see twin beds in our room. There are no doubles or queen duo available, is what they told us. The beds are so small that you keep thinking you are going to fall off of it! The restaurant and breakfast was nice. The check out girl was less than friendly. She kept charging us bills for another room and acted as if I’m lying to say I didn’t go to the bar. It would be nice if everyone at the desk spoke English for their international tourists! She turned kind of mean when I said I’m not fluent in Spanish 🤷🏻‍♀️ The view is amazing, but I assume that’s with most hotels in this area. Cash in pesos only, or credit cards. Your dollars will not go far in Calafate!

• Shirley710 (10/5): Would stay there again! - Great service and helpful staff! With all the pickups and excursions, the front desk was so helpful at making sure everyone got going in the morning! The bar area was great for lunch or an early dinner and had gluten free options. The breakfast was great with a variety of delicacies. Clean and spacious rooms with beautiful views. It’s out of town a ways but the hotel provides shuttle service.

Room and facilities are very old (doesnt look at all as a 4 star hotel), also sofas, courtains and room Carpet with stains. Room was smelling really bad from the bathroom when we entered. Shuttle could have more hours at Night and short breaks as the hotel its only 5 min from the center and suttles Goes only hour by hour.

The only thing I didn’t love was the condition of the place, it might need some maintenance and renovation. But overall I would recommend a stay here.

• Tatiana (4/5): Uma decepção. - Uma grande decepção. Havia me hospedado dias antes em um similar que é muito superior e tem preço bem semelhante, até mais em conta dependente do dia. O hotel não tem maleteiro. Funcionária do saguão muito solícita, porém claramente sobrecarregada, atendendo sozinha em horário de check out e ainda na função de carregar malas. Quartos standard são todos virados para rua, dando a impressão de hospedagem de beira de estrada, obviamente com ruídos. Saguão novo e bem decorado, mas os quartos são instalações mais para velhas. Banheiro intermediário para velho também, porém satisfatório. Camas de solteiro pequenas. Wi-fi ruim. Check out muito cedo às 10h da manhã. Transfer para o centro em péssimos horários que não atendem às necessidades dos hóspedes. Nenhum transfer de manhã, nenhum à tarde e os da noite apenas até 21:30. No similar os horários são bem melhores. Não me hospedaria lá novamente. Foi a diária mais cara da viagem e a pior experiência.

Those are the positives. On the "to-be-improved" list: breakfast is sub-par for the price and the WiFi is practically unusable even for normal surfing. In addition the staff made several errors - e.g. promising to book a table for dinner at a restaurant which turned out to be closed when we got there, as well as unclarities in the price/content of a trip. Friendly they were, but do double-check what they tell you.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Gutes Hotel, was allerdings etwas außerhalb des Ortszentrums liegt, etwas 30 Minuten zu Fuß. Es wird abends auch ein kostenloser Shuttlebus angeboten. Das Zimmer war ok.

• Bryan (8/5): Out of town El Calefate - A long way out of town and shuttle runs only at night. Good service over wise though out of the way location. Good restaurant and bar
