• Mbali (4/5): Make room for improvement - The view was good. Quite place good. Very clean excellent No shower...highly disappointed on that,one kitchen chair and no couch that's so disappointing. The curtains are not closing properly.

• Jitesh Jeram (5/5): Best part location - Location was on main street in the historic mining area. Walking distance to Gandi Square. Security was very helpful Only 1 cup for 2. Fridge door had finger marks all over. Sofa tooo soft. Very well used. Needs a new one. TV remote not working. Toilet lid did not say up. Bin in bathroom full. Absolutely disgusting. Likely we only stayed for one night. Bed sheet big dirty mark. Pool area out of use.

The host is very responsive. There is a power adapter in the room. The pool was under maintenance. The AC remote needed programming. There were leftovers in the fridge.

• Masemola (8/5): Relaxing - The surrounding areas was clean, quite and relaxing. There were people in the opposite direction playing loud music all night. We booked outside to escape the noise pollution in our area only to find a group of young men and woman creating that noise.

• Adwill (8/5): Mapungubwe is worth every cent. Will book the again. - I loved everything about the hotel. Staff was friendly including the security guards. I had everything in my room. The room also gave me self catering option as it had stove and pots etc. I am definitely coming back. Not having a shower cap in the room. I asked for one never had a response. Restaurant also not working yesterday. They don't offer breakfast, but other than that it was worth every cent.

They never had anyone to clean the rooms, they said they clean rooms as a complimentary after you stay for 3 days!!! Imagine, dirty towels and beddings for the 3 days we stayed. I was turned back at the door, no one answered their calls when I got to reception where only the security gaurd is. I booked that place as it was close to the place I was drinking. Had to end up heading home an hour away. I am still waiting for my refund. I think this place is a Scam. No one should book there.
